8081  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: March 02, 2017, 03:26:21 AM
Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?
I believe exactly the same this one of the worst ideas I've ever heard,a "Bitcoin bank" has nothing to offer and it is against Bitcoin philosophy the few who agree with this idea and are interested in using a bank like this to keep their coins are probably newbies or people who never understood the concept of Bitcoin.

it is also true your opinion, what now where I'm busy bank without an office, it was proclaimed, I think this takes the concept of bitcoin, and why did bitcoin should build bank while local banks that now are following the way bitcoin, why so bitcoin is follow local bank.
this is wrong

There is no specific name that will be carried as bitcoin bank, all we have is just an exchanges and we are just hoping that someday bitcoin will be accepted by banks as a form of payment fro transactions. I think it's not hard to reach that level but to compete with fiat, it's impossible.
Only fiat will have a bank as bank produces it while bitcoin is created by satoshi.

8083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: March 01, 2017, 06:49:36 AM
Bitcoin has already overcome PayPal but PayPal only has the edge in terms of popularity and so with time I guess everything will be evident for all to see because Bitcoin transfers and transactions presents better alternatives to PayPal.
I think bitcoin is not better or more popular than paypal. you can see the still very large paypal and paypal is still widely used everywhere. I might agree if bitcoin is already greater than WU

Not only in the near future but even in the longer run I don't think bitcoin will overtake PayPal for online purchasing purposes. Because of its strong buyer's protection policies. In this online world if you don't have protection for what you buy then very difficult to buy anything from unknown persons. That is main reason bitcoins can't take over PayPal.

Yes totally agree but we see if authorities control and regulate the Bitcoin it may overtake all payment system very soon.

Well, the advantage of paypal that they are enjoying now will be surpass by bitcoin, the development will continue as it continues to get popular. If buyers protection is only the problem, I'm sure third is a third party that can integrate bitcoin in their system so it could be possible.
Bitcoin is just a currency or payment system but paypal is a company so they are more comprehensive.

8085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 28, 2017, 06:50:40 AM
Dallas upset some big teams at home even in their crap days, Miami's defeat wasn't exactly a surprise neither is a shame for them
I don't see it as an upset although the Dallas are home dogs, they deserved the win because they played better. Look at the coaching, they are both great coaches who have won championship already so it's just a fair game.

The big upset that happen tonight was with Pacers beating the Rockets who's giving a -10 points. Honestly, they ruined my parlay with a good payout of 0.5 BTC, I bet on the -10 and over 230. It was an 8 leg parlay actually, with only 0.001 bet. Sad
8086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 28, 2017, 06:21:18 AM
Yes, it's a good way when gambling, if we always think of winning and rich from gambling of course makes us giddy and stress. When making the gambling as entertainment then everything feels good, win or lose the mind happy. So, we must to agree that the goal of gambling is not for the rich but fun and entertainment.

You feel happy when you lose? So do you love burning away your money for no purposes at all?if you dont want to win some money then dont gamble. You could use your money elsewhere if you are looking for entertainment, paying up some hooker might entertain you more rather than burning it through gambling
Not literally that he feels happy when he lost, the thing he said is it's just find for him even if he lose as long as he is entertained in gambling. That's quite good actually, as long as you can afford what you spend, you will not worry of losing rather, you are more focus on enjoying the game.
It's part of your entertainment so probably you need to spend for it.
8087  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 28, 2017, 06:07:34 AM
I do the odd translation for Altcoins when I have the time, as at present have a full time job, but also post here. My Wife she is more full time in Crypto as she is at home. We currently invest in various projects also.
That's great, you are combining force with your wife, I wish my wife is also interested in crypto. Not all people are really interested, I convince my wife several times but she cannot comprehend what we are doing here, I just respect that as it's hard to force a person when it's not her interest to do.
Investing gives good opportunity for us in crypto especially if you could find a great altcoin that will result to a pump and you sell, it's a great income for sure.
8088  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: February 26, 2017, 11:26:48 AM
all bussness still can risky but you can minimum to risk
if you want loan you must use colletaral, is safe two person, if give and receive loan, and you not trust open service lending
you can use escrow, so pay escrow receiver loan

But why i need use escrow to receive my loans? The bigger mistake for the lender to give a loan which its loan have a same value with a collateral, if we are trying to look at the bank system everywhere and anywhere the value of the collateral are highest rather than the decimal of the loan.

An escrow would just make sure the loan will be complete and this also could say both parties are trusted. Look, this is just done when we dont even know each other physically. We just use escrow because all of us here dont trust each other and we dont know if one will run.
Better be safe right? I would do it even if I pay, but it should not be equal as to how much I would profit from it.
Escrow will just make the collateral secured but actually it does not make the loan secured, one might choose not to pay and just let it go of the collateral. The fact that the lender cannot go after the borrower, the risk is always on the lender, therefore he should learn to diversify his investment in loan.
8089  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST bets, chat, quick deposits, charts, WAGERING CONTEST NOW on: February 26, 2017, 11:13:34 AM
Overall, I think the site is coming up strong as I notice there are up to 251 chatters this moment at the site!
Even with 251 users at a given point we do not see that much active members in chat, may be they are busy rolling  Wink.Good to see the updates regarding the withdrawal as nathan specified the fees regarding instant and batch withdrawals which was missing early today when i checked.
Congrats to the winners of Wagering Contest. Hope to see more contest from Yolo.

It's completely personal. I personally, for example, have over 1000BTC wagered on different dice sites and never wrote a single message in chat. When I play, I play Smiley
Batch withdrawals are interesting feature.
You are right, most players often prefer to concentrate on their games than chat, because chatting has some ways of taking one's attention off the game. I am liking the speed of the game here as well as the randomness of the numbers, hope it stays so, because that is the only way to retain players and even attract more!
Probably not the only way, dice games are the same game but YOLODICE is competing with great and popular gambling sites now. It's building a good reputation in the community as I have observed and that will make them attract investors also.

No problem with withdrawals even you choose the cheapest fee because it is not process for more than 24 hours anyway. I'm loving my investment here actually as I see it growing well.
8090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 26, 2017, 08:41:08 AM
Why would i be ashamed of getting paid good money for predicting a soccer match???
It's like taking sweets from a baby...thank you betting sites.
What you are doing is different most of the time sports betting is online gambling. What he meant is most of the gambers who visit casino's to do gambling are made to be felt ashamed by the society he lives because those people feel gambling is bad.
Go somewhere else or live somewhere else where people are open about gambling if you really want to be happy and you cannot sacrifice your love to gamble. There are countries which does not restrict their people to gamble and I guess they are very fair with their judgement.
Some countries declared gambling as illegal so the community will think you are doing something that is against the law and therefore that is something you should be ashamed of.
8091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: February 26, 2017, 08:32:33 AM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

What keeps you coming back? Once you tried it, you will become attracted to play with it. The main reasons are you enjoyed playing it. All of us have the greedy personality even me, find another way instead of gamble. It will help you for not coming back.
Of course the main reason why he keeps coming back because he want to recover his loses before, i do believe everyone will do same like he did, no one wanna to lose their money, they will think they must get back their loss before. He will became addicted with gambling if he always do like this.
Not everyone is doing it for sure, as we stay longer in gambling we will realize that chasing our loses will only make it worst. With that good realization, we will then just do it for fun and what we learn as we gamble regularly will help us mature, we will then contented with winning sometimes since we understand already it's hard to win if chasing for long term success.
8092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: February 26, 2017, 08:15:00 AM
i know most of us knew about martingale and we do use that in order to gain profits but we also aware that this same system is not safe in a long term period as we will be caught out of the blue and our winning streak will start to change up, do you have any settings of strategy to make it much worthy to use?

So for me, I believe in order to make a martingle system work you need to have a huge starting bankroll. It will not work if you have a small bankroll because once it hit a loss it will eventually loose all your winnings and your starting money.

Share it here if you have something there Cheesy

It does not depend on the system, you can't beat a casino. They have the edge and will always have profit in the long run. Given that martingale or any other system will fail in the long term. You can't escape that. I do like the use of martingale in sports betting. It will not do anything for you in the long term, if you can't make good value bets, but if you can, it should help you, when you lose in some unlucky bets.

In sports betting always getting odds over 2 for winning teams is not so easy. So if you lose one or two bets then one need to win few games to recover those losses and also need a lot of funds to manage that method. As per me all these methods can help you to reduce your losses but to win you must be a lucky person on that day.
Even if you will bet on odds under 2 is still not easy at all, with that having said, we already know that there is no easy money in gambling. Anyway bankroll or betting management will work based on how we implement it, if you can make a good guess most of the time and you will stay focus with your bankroll management, it will not be far to be profitable. My idea about martingale in sports betting is very easy, I usually do martingale in big event cause I know rigging games is possible.
8093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On OneHash you can bet Trump resignation! on: February 26, 2017, 07:21:17 AM
Since it's mutual betting, I don't think we can make a good amount of money here. Although I can see that the bet is very obvious trump will not resign but who would ever bet a big amount on "YES" to give us something to cash out. This is a crazy wager but I'll consider risking money to get an easy win.
8094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: February 26, 2017, 06:06:09 AM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me
much better to go around this forums just stay away from hyip and ponzi offer trading is not that easy I guess you need to do your homework first best start with small amount just try to trade alt and understand the movement by time pass by you might understand everything just keep focus if you really want to earn. good luck
Yes i agree to you. The best way to start trading is to educate yourself first here in forum . Read different topic that may help you on strating trading in bitcoin. In trading it doesn't matter how big or how small your starting capital would be, it will depend on how you gonna managa all your tradings. One should be aware on the risks of trading. Be updated on the value of bitcoin, so you would know when is the best way to trade or not.
Surely not only in the forum, this forum is just one of the basis to get some important information. The more you read the more you have basis on your decision. Trading with a small amount of money is always good when you are still starting up, that way you won't lose much when you aren't experience yet. Luckily, we are in crypto where we can start at a very minimum amount to trade, you can buy as long as $10 and start trading.
8095  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: What is more ideal for a bitcoin enthusiast an offline job or online job? on: February 25, 2017, 11:28:05 PM
Both. Isang full time offline job at madaming part time online jobs tulad ng signature campaign.
8096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: February 25, 2017, 10:56:16 AM
By this year can expect lot adoption in bitcoin as well acceptance for bitcoin into business needs.
True, but at the same time price goes up with adoption so it will be harder and harder to own whole btc. The time is running out!

it will. unlike before way back 2012 i think it is not really difficult to buy bitcoin or own a bitcoin because the price is really low. well i regret if i hold since august i think i do have a btc right now and i can own a motorcycle but nope i just converted it into our own money though now i hold it
I say it's alright, the past is the past and we cannot turn back time again. I guess for now, we must be focus on what we can do to ride for another success, if we live in the past, we will never gonna get things done. The value of bitcoin is very aggressive in terms of price movement, so I believe this time we can still correct our past mistakes but taking time to invest now. I have a feeling that once we hit the all time high, it will still continue to rise.
8097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TOKES Platform Signature and Other Bounties thread on: February 25, 2017, 10:42:09 AM
It's been more than two weeks at the end of the signature campaign, I am surprised why Tokes distribution has taken all this time and the distribution has not been completed so far!
distribution still have problem with incent , investor get balance not same with their ico dashboard
Tokes partner with incent that makes distribution late
Haven't heard that story dude, if that's the case then it should be the investors that should be taken cared of first before any distribution of the bounty.

They have to prioritize as investors risk money for TOKES project.

It's been more than two weeks at the end of the signature campaign, I am surprised why Tokes distribution has taken all this time and the distribution has not been completed so far!
Like the above statement, investors must be priorities first then bounty will just come. Just wait for it and time will come. I guess the others are tired of asking when will be the release as the traffic of posters now has quite decreased  Grin
8098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: February 25, 2017, 06:16:11 AM
Looks like yes, after increasing bitcoin price remarkable within last 5 days, I think that many people are interested in using bitcoin, rising prices of course caused bitcoin high demand, so I am optimistic that bitcoin is a financial future.
i think as we see from last five years its price is keeps on increasing and it is gaining popularity all over the world so, i think most of the people use it for investment purpose and most of the people doing investment in it so, i think it has a great future.
Not only for an investment but also good in operationally . Bitcoin is more practical and fast for long distance transaction . Bitcoin is evidence of the technological advances, which make our activities more easily. I think bitcoin is suitable for future.
It is and in fact I am very optimistic that it will be the leading online payment in the future to come. With the recent growth of bitcoin, we can already tell that it has a good potential to grow bigger in the future, hence, it is very important for us investors to consider this time the right timing to invest our money.
Let us not hesitate to do it now for better return..

Definitely there should be more to come, now that gamblers are increasing YOLO should maintain or even improve this kind of contest. We, gamblers always want to see new promotion and contest as that will excite us to play and try it hoping we will be the lucky winners.
With regards to withdrawal fee, I guess putting two options is very nice as sometimes we want it instant when we are excited to spend our profit.
8100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Main Currency on: February 25, 2017, 05:12:32 AM
Bitcoin as main currency is hard to others. Though some countries bitcoin is popular and they already use it in their daily lives. But, not all can easily adopt this kind of currency. Let bitcoin as it is a decentralized one not be controlling by the government.
I wonder why there are lots of questions like that. Isn't great to just add bitcoin as one form of currency as a virtual currenct but not to replace any local fiat (since it is really hard to replace it) and to adopt it first by all nations and for all merchants to use it as payment especially thru online shopping, etc.

actually that would be a great thing if it could happen. bitcoin as a currency can function very well and there is nothing that can stop or restrict it. but bitcoin needs to evolve first to adapt to the new world with more users than it had back in 2011 for example.
we need scaling first and then an stable price, then we can see a very good currency.
I'm sure that's everyone's dream, we want to see a full massive adoption with bitcoin so we can consider this as the main currency but for online only. Bitcoin is very good in terms of the features as it's secured and fast, that's the reason why we see the adoption rate is increasing but until such time there will be a massive adoption, whales will always has the chance to manipulate the price which would not attract big investors to integrate bitcoin in their system.
