8081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: January 24, 2018, 02:42:26 AM
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

Personally i'd just like to own my own home, after that i would just play with spare change.

My plan is to have much holdings in crypto. Of course I cannot stay with crypto all the time, there have to be withdrawals and fiat conversions made as I still need to spend fiat money. I do not cash out when not necessary so even if my crypto holdings are growing huge, I will leave them as they are. After all, they are rising in value fast. There is no need to quickly pull out coins from wallets.
8082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February and March? on: January 24, 2018, 01:56:25 AM
I would strongly recommend to you Freelancercoin.

I know there have been several projects venturing on the freelancing world. But the market is so big. We all know that freelancing has been growing exponentially ever since. And it has already spread across the globe. Freelancer coin is combining AI system with blockchain to confront the issues involved in the freelancing industry. This is a very timely project.
8083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the most stable altcoin? on: January 23, 2018, 03:17:49 AM
How do you think what altcoin / token is the most stable one (ofcourse not tether please Smiley )? I'm interested in finding something with decent trade volume where it will be possible to save money doring such strong corrections (like from 20k to 14). Please  bring some arguments to your suggestions and add links to coinmarketcap Smiley

I think you better go for a coin that is reliable, not just a stable one. If a coin is stable, meaning it does not move that much, there is a possibility that it is either just a low-volume coin or a shitcoin. Either way, you would not want to get trapped into it. Why don't you just go for the trusted ones such as Ethereum or Waves. They may not be that stable but they will sure be going upward.
8084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum prediction in 2018 on: January 22, 2018, 09:38:22 AM
At the moment ethereum has passed the 1000$ limit. what will happen at the end of 2018. will it passed the Bit coin ?

Right now, Ethereum is barely holding on to the $1,000 limit. I hope the $1,000 limit would prove to be some kind of resistance for Ethereum so that it will not fall more. These days are very hard for crypto. It is good that Ethereum is in green mark right now, but it is not very permanent. In a little while, it could easily go to red and then green and then red again. This is becoming more uncertain times. February is going to be much better definitely.
8085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10 ETH or 1 BTC? on: January 22, 2018, 08:17:32 AM
With $3000 to invest, is there any advantages to either, with the expectations/hopes that they both will continue to grow?  Just trying to see what others would do, as I plan to let this initial investment sit for 5yrs minimum in a cold wallet.

Thanks ladies and gents!

Both choices will give you good grounds for profit of your investment. Especially that your investment is planned for five years in minimum, you are well groomed to be receiving a good deal of gains in the future. In a year's time, Ethereum or Bitcoin will assure you at least x5 growth. That is the least it could give you. It might even go much higher. If I were you, divide your investment in two and invest one part for Bitcoin and the other in Ethereum.
8086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 20, 2018, 01:26:44 AM
I agree with what you said about ICO getting populated by scams as well as projects that are not yet proven whether promising or not. Of course, it is much much better if the project that will be offering an ICO has already a track record where potential investors can assess. This is the edge of those projects whose companies have already existed way before they consider the ICO way of gathering more investment.
8087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The price is dropping so when is the right time to buy? on: January 20, 2018, 12:23:34 AM
Your post is confusing. I could hardly find your main point. But of course the right time to buy is the time when the prices are low, that means if there is a drop in prices. Now, the situation may either be interpreted as a good or a bad sign. If you want to buy your favorite coins at a cheap price and yet you are easily getting emotional every time you see red all over, then perhaps you need to make up your mind first if this thing called crypto investment is really for you.
8088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst Bounty on: January 19, 2018, 02:58:31 AM
What is the worst bounty you have ever participated in? Why was it the worst for you?

First, a disclaimer: this is not to say that the projects are bad. I am only referring to the bounties as regards the proceeds that I got from them.

I think as far as my memory serves me right, the second to the worst bounty that I participated in was Shadow. I think the project is good. The bounty was ran by Sylon and it was smoothly managed and everything was great. What made it bad was that I only got a very very small amount of bounty. I was a Sr. Member already and I made 20 posts a day. And until now I am still holding my SHDW tokens and there was no significant increase of its value.

The worst was Gravio. The team was probably hardworking and dedicated. The project is still functioning until now and I think it still has a future. But there must be something wrong with the way they handled the bounty stuff. My GIOs until now are almost worthless. The worse was that the stakes were given per post, an invitation to spam.
8089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 19, 2018, 02:14:10 AM
It is good that you are hopeful about the potential high growth of Ethereum. But I think your assessment has a little flaw in it. I think this will not be applicable every year. Once the price is already very high, we cannot expect its growth to be similar to that when its price was still low. If Ethereum is only $1, it could easily multiply its value ten times in a month. But it would be a different story if Ethereum is already at $1,000. It might not even multiply three times in a month.
8090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k USD in February? on: January 18, 2018, 02:18:02 AM
So, the most awaiting is over now. ETH Touched the golden 1k USD Mark. And, The pumping growth is incredible now. So, what do you think ETH in February? Can ETH Cross 2k$ in February?

Most probably. Ethereum has gone down as low as losing the $1,000 mark. But then it has gained back the $1,000 already so I guess there is no returning to that very low point anymore. It will be a good rising direction for Ethereum in the remaining days in January. So by February, it will be breaking anther All Time High and probably be in the $2,000 mark. And then consider also that there will be a fork happening on the 19th of January.
8091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coins to buy right now? on: January 18, 2018, 01:30:39 AM
What are the best coins to buy right now?

There are so many coins to choose from these days. At least today some growth are already seen. If you were able to buy yesterday and the other day you are one lucky investor. The flying days are coming. Right now, try to grab some Waves, and then of course Ethereum is still cheap. If you want, you can also add some ADA, Litecoin, and Siacoin to your portfolio. Hold until you are making good profits.
8092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 18, 2018, 12:52:31 AM
No, I don't support Ethereum anymore. They used to pay me big money to support them, but the contract has run out and they haven't renewed it, so I'm moving to some other coin.

What is wrong with this guy. Do you mean to say that you are only treating Ethereum as a milking cow? And now that you are not getting big money from this project, you will simply abandon ship and jump to another one. Well, I guess this is just a bitter way of saying what you are not really feeling anyway. You are still asking for some donations in Ethereum. Your signature is saying something different from your post.

8094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a promising coin on: January 17, 2018, 01:39:00 AM
With the rate of ICO release daily, how can I find a promising coin to invest?  I don't want to fall into a scam or shit coin.

You will have to do several things before joining in an ICO if you want to make sure that the ICO you are joining will really be true to what they are offering in their promotions. First you need to check the contents of their whitepaper especially their vision and objectives and then check their proposed way of addressing the real-life issue their project wants to address. And then look at their partners and potential partners as well as their roadmap. And then of course check the team's background.
8095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to judge this is not a trustworthy team? on: January 16, 2018, 10:46:22 AM
There are so many coins now that there are always teams that are not serious about technology. They just want to collect a sum of money, how to judge this is not a trustworthy team?

First and foremost, check their whitepaper. Read about it and then assess whether what they are proposing is a great idea or not, and whether such a proposal could be translated into reality or not. If everything's pretty great, it does not mean that it is worth trusting already. Try to look at the team and their background. Read about their experiences and their previous accomplishments and whether they are in line with the project they are promoting. And then see to it that you reach out to them.
8096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 15, 2018, 03:34:44 AM
Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?

The easiest of course will be airdrop. You will be doing nothing with airdrop unless you are participating in the deeponion-like airdrop which is not actually an airdrop as they require signatures to be worn and then a certain number of posts have also to be made. But the rest of the airdrops are pretty simple, only requiring you to send them your ETH or other wallet addresses and then your Bitcointalk.org account. But I doubt if joining airdrops is more profitable than joining bounties.
8097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will The Price Of Siacoin Rise on: January 15, 2018, 02:40:41 AM
Siacoin is having the hardfork in the upcoming days , will it increase the price of it and there's also a rumor that there's is going to be a coin burn.

Siacoin (SC) is going to rise higher in the coming months. That is for sure. And this fork will definitely make Siacoin transaction smoother and more reliable. Cloud storage has been here for a while but Sia has made everything much much better and made you the most powerful person in terms of your own stored data. The coin burn will add more value definitely to the coin as the supply shall be lessened significantly.
8098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Look at Stronghands guys!! on: January 14, 2018, 04:17:28 AM

I cannot find any good reason why I, or anyone for that matter, should invest in this coin. Perhaps you could give us some truly convincing reason why we should invest in this altcoin. As far as my initial assessment of this coin is concerned, this is one of a great number of altcoins that we should try to stay away from. As pointed already, the supply is too big. I tried to scan their website for something, nothing's significant either. But I am a little bit amazed that it reached $1.3 M in volume in an exchange.
8099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum To Be $5000-$10000 in 2018? on: January 14, 2018, 03:39:32 AM
I guess Ethereum will most probably be reaching around $5,000 in the year 2018. But I think $10,000 is too high. Well, it could still be possible but it will not be an easy target for Ethereum most probably. Of course, how I wish it will. I have some Ethereums in my wallet. Yes, it could be reached because it is just approximately x10 of its price right now. We will be having a bigger party in the end of 2018 if it does. And then Bitcoin will also be reaching $100,000.  Grin
8100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is new way to get Free money? on: January 14, 2018, 02:47:45 AM
I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh

I would vote NO. There is no denying that there are so many ICOs that are as shady as it could get. But they are not what ICOs are all about. Before the ICOs are pestered with so many scams and scrap ones, the ICO is a great way to start a great project. And until now, I cannot see any reason why we should generalize the entire ICO method to be some kind of shit simply because of some scam ones.
