8101  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: July 18, 2015, 02:10:31 AM
i might be intereset if you decided to sell it as trash Smiley

Depending on what your willing to pay I might take you up on it.  It currently runs all 4 blades.... each with new thermal paste and as cleaned before new paste.  1 blade seems to work, 2 show 1/2 chips no x's just only half, other is a wild card. The miner is the blue boards, controller is a green board.

I hate to sell too cheap incase I need the controller board or other parts for my other miner.  But if you have a decent offer feel free to pm me.
8102  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: July 18, 2015, 02:07:03 AM
The forum has been doing that to me too. Showing up blanks.

Do you have an ignore list possibly?   I would be surprised if I'm in it if personal one.

But I have been part of a signature campaign for a while. Lets me get a few toys for my normal posting.  If you use the ignore list that was based on signature users I am in that.
8103  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The combined sidehack-novak usb stick review thread. AKA GekkoScience BM1384 on: July 18, 2015, 02:01:18 AM
Good stuff right there TheRealSteve. I feel like with all the info the reviewers have provided, and constant updates from sidehack I already have my compac!  Tongue

Honestly he did a good job.  I really want them to succeed and I think they will.  They built a sold product my review is still running.

I really hope they keep making gear and have a series.  I would LOVE to see a large hashing unit some point in future when chips are able to be secured easier.
8104  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntMiner APW3-12-1600 PSU Series on: July 18, 2015, 01:59:10 AM
Dogie, it wasn't directed at you.  I know you can only comment on what's allowed or known.  But one thing you can help with is getting better clarification on this psu for us.  I've contacted support but there answers are vague and I'm left back where I started.  This is what you are here to help with since you can put it in terms we understand not operator answers like "It should work, just buy it and see".
Again the silence is bothersome and in the past it is a known sign that something is up with many companies.  Our point in this forum is to address issues that could easily be adverted by the simplest tasks, it's just damaging to a company not to listen.

All I wanted to know is if the B2 model of the psu will work with the S4 without additional wiring.  The 10 gauge wire with the hoop terminals.  My reply from Bitmain was to use the B1 psu but it isn't listed on the website so how do I acquire that?  It lead me to believe also in another reply from Bitmain that both sets of wires are included in the B2 psu.  So which is it?

Contact their support through a ticket: https://bitmain.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

They can help you get the PSU for the S4.  This psu they are selling is a good psu, but requires OVER 110 electricity.  So if you are running 110 yes you need a different PSU then the one this thread is for.
8105  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: July 18, 2015, 01:56:15 AM
The hard part to justify it is all the zeus/hashra/etc gear that is out there.  Even though it's horribly inefficient people still run them.

I do not think the price should be to much over what you can buy an 30mh A2 and a SP20.   I agree some over it.   But 1200 would be very very high.   I really want this and will admit I would overspend to get one to play with, but I cant justify 1200 no matter how hard i try.

I hope the rumor is wrong on price.
8106  Other / Meta / Re: My negative trusts on: July 17, 2015, 09:45:13 PM
I hope people will remove them, if they want me to remove what I wrote for them.
I want to notice as I never left negative feedback to anyone without proof.

A lot of people accusing me of a scammer, cheater and many other things, OK maybe they were right as in the beginning I was selling hacking guides and all kind of underground stuff from Deepweb. But now different people have left me negative feedback on their own, without ever dealing with me.

If they want my neg feedback for them to be removed, let them remove what they accused me unjustly. Undecided

You left negative's for people doing things such as you said "virtual cop".  When someone is activity sending out negatives if you put one on them.... its almost for sure you will get one in return.

Your only chance as others said is contact and see if others will take off if you do a swell.  I suggest not name calling but facts in negative trust.

And if you really did "Sharing a guide to card PayPal accounts and commit fraud. Avoid any deals with this user. ".  Then you made a big mistake and most likely will always have negative rep.
8107  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal issues State to State on: July 17, 2015, 09:26:18 PM
I should have done a better search...found what I was kind of looking for in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1074520.0

Its a thread on bitcoin members running into issues,if any one wants a looksy.

None of those who are in the thread were just users.  Your looking at exchanges to scams in there.  Exchanges is a BIG deal if you don't comply with states laws as it could be considered money laundering.  But unless you are a exchange or doing something like localbitcoins selling you don't need to worry about it.

And some of those are dealing with "bad" things.  The first one who was sentenced Charlie Shrim (sorry if spelled wrong) was running an exchange without all the proper regulations.  Some of the BTC from exchange was used for silkroad type stuff.... instant target after that.

So don't do anything stupid with coins, and don't be a exchange and your safe as far as us.
8108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 17, 2015, 09:21:22 PM
So, your trading theory is that every altcoin lower than 100 sats rises automatically within days?  Roll Eyes

its a pretty unreliable strategy imo, its not a given that every cheap altcoin wroth a few satoshi will always multiply in value over the course of a week. in addition, this little strategy or method depends on those altcoins being bought up on the exchange after the rise in value.

There is no trading strategy that can guarantee this kinda of returns.  If investing in it did this... lots would invest throwing off your investment.

I just hope no one new gets their hopes up after reading this.  Getting 1 btc a week for doing almost nothing is not common with little investments.
8109  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to connect my antminer s5 with bitminter pool? on: July 17, 2015, 09:18:39 PM
Hey guys,

Im new to this so how can I connect my antminer s5 to the bitminter pool?

I've tried the Bitminter client it doesnt work.

Whats the port, address, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

The S5 runs on it's own you do not need the bitminter client for it to run.  If you had an asic usb hooked to computer or something then yes the program might work.

I suggest looking at better pools such as antpool.   Bitminter is not really a top notch pool.
8110  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer shows block found so when is it done on: July 17, 2015, 09:17:06 PM
When I view my Antminer and I see it found a block, is there somewhere else it will show me the blocks are done and I can reboot it?

Are you solo mining?  If so yes good chance you got one (but its like winning the lottery).

If renting on some rental sites, or doing alt coins you might find one but it's not finding a BTC block most likely.

So really depends on where you have your miner pointed to.
8111  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: July 17, 2015, 09:13:53 PM
What color are the hashboard that are not working correctly?

I will check later I cannot remember..... sad since I spent so much time with them yesterday.  Basically 1 works perfect, 2 work half way, and 1 is hard to say.

So I'm going to hook up a kill-a-watt and see what type of power usage it has.  If I'm pulling the 800 watts or so for 600ish GH speed.... it is for sure going as parts or to be sold.
8112  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: July 17, 2015, 09:09:37 PM
Smiley
The new home for a few months for these miners.
..

Very impressive setup!  Can I ask what your electricity is?  I'm just seeing some gear that makes me wonder if you have a great price Smiley
8113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Nano - Stick Mining Fun! on: July 17, 2015, 09:07:09 PM
For my combined birthday and Father's Day gift my son gave me an Avalon Nano (I've got a great son).  The software installation and configuration was, er, not trivial but I got it going http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1NFpUu9D76jRL9m2TAdcKjgwr8axLg4YqN (give it time).  One thing I've notice; a couple of times now it got "stuck" in sleep mode.  It wasn't too tough to get it going again but it requires attention; I want it to run unattended.  Anyone else seen this behavior?

Do you have a fan pushing air on it?  The nano can get pretty hot and it  would effect it's preformance.

And yea there are actually 2 gui's.  One is in English and easier to use for my language.  The second looks nicer but was in Chinese (they could have added English I have not looked recently)

If a fan does not work you can try to run cgminer without the gui.  The commands are in the thread to do that.
8114  Other / Archival / Re: July 11th to July 25th diff thread. Picks are now open. on: July 17, 2015, 09:04:30 PM
I'm really liking the difficulty so far this round.  I keep guessing it will go up but I'm happy to be wrong in this case.

Coinbase still at 279 so not going down, but not going up either.  I want to hit that 280 mark again.
8115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fully trusted moderator on: July 17, 2015, 09:06:23 AM
Its a game where people can win bitcoins. It would in small amounts just for fun...for example.. A lottery there is 100 numbers and people choose their number and pay with btc and i need a mod so i can send him results for next day(s) <----- just an example Smiley btw non profit..

im assuming you need an escrow service for this; however, there are already fair bitcoin lottery games in the gambling section, your idea isnt anything new or special. in addition, this game could easily be rigged as there is no provably fair system implemented to decide the winner. in the case you hand the drawing rights over to this trusted person, they would be running the lottery completely. the idea imo is flawed.

Yea I would agree it would go in games and gambling.  This is not something new that needs a mod.

You will need a escrow that is trusted as you are new.  And also a escrow keeps it where you don't pick winners you want.

This is really a lotto, not a game.   But you can do it and I'm sure if good enough prize people will do it as free.
8116  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Sfards: SF100-the first 28nm Dual-Mode Miner gets into mass production on: July 17, 2015, 09:01:47 AM
I could not find anything to suggest they ever finished development on the L1, but maybe you have some info I am unaware of.

Just like you can not find anything about the S:Next-one, they are self mining with the L1 ......

So basically a free loan from pre-orders to get things rolling

Nice racket

Did you say racket? You ain't seen nothing yet!
What with all the disgruntled ex-employees tossing a fair amount of the brown-stuff about, its bound to get more interesting ..... just keep your eyes peeled!
Don't know if I would want to keep my eyes peeled in the middle of a sh!t show but I do think the second they cut doggie from the payroll we will have a lot more information. Something tells me Doggie knows a lot about his Bitmain partners.

Even if he does know a lot about partners he no doubt signed a NDA.  So he will not be passing on information such as partners.

I could be wrong.  But I just don't see Dogie breaking his NDA, and I'm guessing he signed one with Bitmain I do not know for a fact.
I do have an NDA with Bitmain, and although it allows me to make disclosures under good will its still an NDA. However there aren't any conspiracies to whistle-blow on, its pretty mundane in Bitmain land Tongue.

I don't mean anything bad on it.   I guess I just surprised some of the things you said don't fall within their confidential info area on their NDA.  I like you for it though Smiley you are who I found out there would not be a S6 from reading your posts.

Anyways best of luck to you.

And as far as SFards I really hope we get some concrete information.  I would love to know dates, and prices.   The prototype looks great on first page.  I hope it hits production soon at a fair price.
8117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can u get bitcoins? for free on: July 17, 2015, 08:53:17 AM
Where can u earn or get bitcoins for free
i don't like shit like a faucet
please help my

Faucets are the worst possible thing you could do with your time.  You will learn nothing from them.  And get paid pennies a hour.

BTC is real money.  You have to remember this it holds value.  So it is not something you will be given without doing something.

Your best bet is raising your rank and doing signature campaigns.  A few things to it though.  Make sure post is substantial do not spam.   If you spam it is a temp ban most likely.  Don't go from thread to thread pushing products.  Just do normal posting and let it go from there.
8118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fully trusted moderator on: July 17, 2015, 08:49:59 AM
Hi all Smiley
Im still very new to this forum. I have a game for all of you but i need to involve a very trusted mod in it. Can you please recommend someone.

Can you tell us more about the situation?  There are mods and admins but I have no idea who you should contact with it so vague.

And you might honestly need to post in meta and let them read it there.  I doubt the site does a forum wide "game".  But it's hard to tell from little info.
8119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: July 17, 2015, 08:28:17 AM
He does it to gain more people for the site.  He post that stupid graph in this thread a lot.   The website does not even mention costs, only earnings.  It's a high high percent chance it's a ponzi.
Ok. Posting graphs & stats are stupid. But, pointless blabbering is intelligent. Where did you get the news that The website does not even mention costs ? Ghs costs are mentioned right on the front page of www.cloudmining.website. You even do not need to log in for that.

It mentions initial cost to buy. I do not see FEE's.  Yes I consider a legit site to have fees and be open on them.

But they got a review site to say it's great, and that stupid chart from review site.   I hope new people don't follow that and do research and invest into a legit cloud mining site.
Please dont trap newbies with the hypothetical idea of legit cloud mining site. First show a site that provides mining address and sold hash power in real time. No one is cloud mining industry does that, because everyone is involved into partial mining.

I'm sorry I consider facts such as where datacenter is, what equipment is being used. Heck if there is any equipment even to be more important than a chart.

Maybe they finally will release some pics of their data center, or tell us about gear they are using.... anything to show not ponzi.  But I doubt it.
LoLz... the moment they show a data center, some of the other moron will jump in and say pic is not sufficient. Paying consistently over eight months at this rate with almost no ad spending on the forum proves beyond doubt that www.cloudmining.website is NOT a Ponzi.

You spend no money just spam that chart.   You have posted the same chart way to many of times.   So it proves your cheap on ad's does not make you legit.

Not quite sure why your mad at me. I really do not like arguments so normally avoid your company.

You have a great graph. What you don't have is proof of equipment or even brand your using.   You never go into details. What country is your data center in?  You will laugh at me, post graphs, argue, just not put facts on table.  And how many times have you posted that same graph? I'm surprised it's not considered spam at this point.

There are 2 sites i trust as legit cloud mining.  You will notice I normally do not mention them as I want the person to do research and decide on their own.  There are a lot more scam/ponzi sites then legit cloud mining.

Go find someone else to pester or provide some proof.
8120  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If mining BTC isn't profitable like people say -- how are OTHER people doing it? on: July 17, 2015, 07:25:38 AM
As it has been suggested it is a great heater in the winter, ESPCIALLY the S1 that guy pours out heat.

I mine slightly negative but I like to decentrlized mining and support  the security of the chain.. hey every giga hash counts!

U3, you can grab one for like $60 off kijiji, power draw is negligible mind you so is the profits but you are mining and adding more security to the network.

isn't better to support the network with a full node? at least you won't go in negative, well if you are rich, i don't think you care about a small loss  Grin

I support the network and want it to be safe.  But when I go negative on miner's I sell them and get more efficient gear.

I really like ROI Smiley.  I will keep doing support with ROI as long as I can.  The summer has been good in my mind for miners.
