I'm in the process of moving everything offline again.
Care to reveal your average entry point in 1-4/2013? Mine is about $75. He doesn't have any coins

BUT, for a wider adoption, it needs a better front end. It HAS to have a better front end. Maybe Ripple will get there first and cover that market, who knows.
what's wrong with blockchain.info wallet? It's at least as nice and easy to use as the ripple client and relatively secure. I haven't used it so I can't comment. I didn't go for it as I thought, "online, unsafe" before I read too much into it. As a non programmer and/or economist (or any related fields) I have found it's taken me over 2 weeks to fully understand enough of bitcoin to utilise it. Jane and John who might use bitcoin to send money to Uncle Pete or buy food at the local pizza delivery or whatever, they want something that they can start using straight away... or as close to that as possible. I can only assume blockchain.info might not even do that for them? It's very simple unless you've never used a computer.

Thats cause I donated a little more then usual for the games. But I could lower it a little yes.
Ahaha Did you donate 10 cents extra?

I made 25k selling hats in tf2 over a year, quit at the end of last year though
That's great.

Hi, is it possible to generate a paper wallet safely with 2 compromised computers using the vanity key generator? I've been wondering this for a long time.
|
|
|
You just keep doing that! Bless your heart!
But if you're not going to have any BTC any more perhaps you should stop offering to buy stuff for BTC in multiple lines of your sig.
I still have a good amount of BTC, and it's not in Mt Gox. Don't worry

I swear by the value of having a Trading Buddy. Whenever I'm considering making a shift to my valuation of Bitcoin ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=181037.0), it's nice to have external validation. Did I fail to factor something in with my analysis? Am I overemphasizing the importance of a certain factor? Sometimes, it's just getting the confidence boost from finding they agree with your conclusions. I thought I could start a thread whose goal is to pair people up. I created a shared spreadsheet: Trading Buddy Spreadsheet - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqpoRK3q-_aKdGpTU0xIQ2Iyek01Ri02UXNmMnVhdXc#gid=0The quick and easy way is to simply follow the link and claim someone. If you're a bit more anal thorough, you could try some of the following suggestions to try for a more perfect fit. If you'd just like to put yourself out there and wait for someone to pair with you, fill out a "Trading Buddy Profile" below. List whatever details you think will be important to someone pairing up. For example, if I wasn't already paired up, I might write something like: I weight fundamentals more heavily for a long term view, but absolutely love shorter term technical plays. I tend to have a long-term bullish outlook. Given the right circumstances, I could see Bitcoin being sub-$1 next year, well over $1000, or anywhere in between. I expect it'll be a bumpy ride for awhile as we transition from bleeding edge to leading edge adoption. My interests in a partner: -Minimum five years trading experience -Considers both technical and fundamental indicators -Generally bullish, long-term -Willing to unemotionally debate points, cede errors, and be willing to say when you disagree with a position I take.Or, you can take a look at the Spreadsheet, see who is currently unclaimed, then find their entries in this topic to find your best match. One final note: I realize a shared spreadsheet is not the ideal tool for this. If there is a clearly superior method that doesn't require significant effort, please let me know, and I'd happily update the link from the spreadsheet to a new medium. Can I be your tarding buddy?

I don't see why people are so hostile to the OP. After all, for any speculative bubble to be profitable to someone, someone else has to be fool enough to buy high and sell low. As they say in poker, don't tap the aquarium, it scares the fish.
I'm going to take all my coins out of gox and put them into a paper wallet. Maybe dice whatever btc I have left.

DAMMNNNNN
I put in some sell orders to sell the coins I bought at $90 for 100, 105, 110
All the coins got bought up, and price went to 130
Stupid me bought in again, and now price is $118. FUCK

I think it is good idea to have more then 4 post. It makes you to read content (4 h) and it you can found something really interesting it will hold you here more time.
The entire Speculation section is quite addictive/interesting. Unfortunately, it's not very helpful.

I can't see how people can recommend blockchain.info when it's down so often.
It's convenient and requires little setup. Hopefully they'll fix the downtime issues.

I made the sell request on 230USD/BTC, now it's 100$ less...
Nobody wanted to buy at that much. You either wait for the price to go up, or you cancel the order and sell lower.

Do people still play that game? 0.0

I think the system is working fine actually.
