and being a newbie with no merit does not limit me from having what a need. I can also express my opinion and give my contribution where i have something to say, that is not limited either.
here is the truth, being a newbie just have one limit (when it comes to contribution to forum not features), there are some boards you can't participate in discussion there. Like the Serious discussion and Ivory Tower board. Apart from that the forum is all your to voice out your contributions when you have one. And when it comes to merits, don't just put all your attention there instead focus on adding value to forum, Let the forum feel your impact by quality contributions and it's members will reward you with merits. In general, (1). "Stop searching for merit and you will get them i.e stop commenting or posting just to get merits." . and your stay on forum will be enjoyable

Off course experience is the best teacher just as any successful trader will know success is a bad teacher. Mistake (failure) are needed for every trader to learn from. After your experience that mistake and learn from it positively you will notice your trading performance will improve. And when it comes to strategy making, it depends on the individual. Choose what suit & works for you. Just because Trader A uses strategy C and it worked for him/her doesn't mean it will work for Trader B

Well most of my trading are done automatically. I make use of stop loss and take profit and I'm a day to day trader. So far I haven't suffered any major losses due to my strategy. And I have been trading close to 3years

When I saw the headlines, immediately I was eager to know how the turtle crossed the finish line. You got me there. Firstly I have to say, nice headline and secondly, congratulations on your achievement. I get you feel that way about your ranking up. Like they say it's only a poor man that thinks money will make him happy but realizes that's isn't true when he finally gets the money. Once again congratulations r1s2g3,

Sr. Member, thank you a lot!
You don't have to thank everyone that replies your topic. So doing will be considered spamming and you might get temporary ban or get your topic deleted. Also i can see you're a newbie so avoid one sentence replies. And delete all "thank you one liner comments" to avoid further issues on forum. As for your question above I don't use instant exchange on regular bases because of their fee it's too expensive. No need going going further i believe vit05 has said it all. If you're satisfy by replies then lock topic to avoid bounty members spamming thread.

I started from scratch. First, I was introduced to a investing site called "MMM" So did i, it was the ponzi biz "MMM" that introduce me to bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading in 2015. After purchasing bitcoin from a friend, I was planning to provide help (PH) on the platform then I saw an announcement informing its user of the sudden rise in bitcoin price. I did some research immediately, same day i created my very first trading account on poloniex & sold my bitcoin to USD then after few days I got 50% increase on my btc capital since then i have been trading & the rest is history

Another merit analysis... forum became Merittalk instead of Bitcointalk. you're also a contributor to this. One way or the other we all are I don't even understand the need of this

It looks like the user thanhgonzalez already nuked by our moderators because we can see that account has zero posts and zero activity. Yes I can see that too although before I made this post today, he still had activities and posts and the user just made a post then I remembered I have seen same post before by another user. Why mod not ban second account yet?

I believe this two account are from the same user trying to get traffic from forum for his/her pump and dump group. A quick look at their post history reviews they have been spamming with same content over and over again. User1: BBbill Still actively spammingUser2: thanhgonzalez Banned/nukedSpamming message: We have a pump group with over 2500 accredited investors that pump and hold coins. The team also spends thousands of dollars on advertisements during the pump making it last longer so everyone can profit. The groups last pump reached over 5500%! - t.me/iblockchainglobal

Since i have already commented on a similar thread, I believe there's no point writing another reply here but instead I will quote my previous reply and I believe this is the solution to problem of forum avoiding flooded account recovering thread on meta board. I'm in support of the discussion "New Child Board for banned users" I also have some additional suggestion. I notice all members who started the topic on ban accounts are new members and that can only mean as a ban user you lose the privileges to start topics or rely on topics so the only option is to create a new account to appeal your case. I believe this isn't the best solution since most users get banned and most times don't know why. So in addition to creating a separate child board for banned users, they should also have the privileges of using their old account to appeal their cases only on the child board section. this will prevent the amount of alt account created on the forum.

Here is a reply from YOSHIE I just don't understand because his Q&A don't correspond to my topic and I feel it fits in here "Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny". Don't try reading, you'll just confuse yourself. Each time i merit a user for their contribution to forum, I notice this message "There is no point in hoarding sMerit; keeping it yourself does not benefit you, and we reserve the right to decay unused sMerit in the future. But what surprises me is some user still ignores this message, keeping the smerits they received as a trophy to themselves.
In the course of the new forum rules all know with Merit Point requirements in increasing levels with different number of activities, so I will answer a little about the question: (CryptopreneurBrainboss) which concerns sMerit (Merit). So in this case several questions arise:<> There is no point in hoarding (sMerit).<> When giving (sMerit) to other members, can our Merit be less? Answer: No.
<> Collected (sMerit)?Every time gives 1 Merit from another member, we get 0.5 (sMerit). If you have 0.5 (sMerit) you can't give Merit to other members, surely? Actually you have to get another 0.5 (sMerit) to be enough, so at least 1 Merit can be given.
<> for example I want to collect (sMerit) do not want to give to other members? Answer:It is certain: There is no point in hoarding (sMerit), keeping it alone does not benefit you, and we have the right to rot the unused sosit in the future.
<> Well, if there is a post that can merit then it is erased. What about Merit. Answer: it remains intact Merit is eternal.
For that (sMerit) is a Merit given to other Bitcointalk members who have achievements. So it's easy to know (sMeritt) that is in us. Can take this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=meritThe conclusion of the topic question, maybe in the giving (sMerit) by the forum automatically, I think it's a bit heavy because it is individual post per post, so Hopefully? for the future all members are not heavy to give merit to other bitcointalk members if they find posts of other members who are useful.

Well no need rewriting as I have already done that before. Here is my story How I heard about bitcoin started early 2015 when I was searching for means in which I will use to earn some money to help support my schooling because I'm an undergraduate. So I was introdue into an online business by a friend called MMM (As of then I never knew it was ponzi) the way it was presented (mouth watery bonuses) made me to engage in it fully and started marketing it. I became successful at it made some cool cash too.
When it became famous in my country I decided to explore all its benefits then I saw an advert of BItcoin I picked interest because it was offering 50% ROI monthly while my local currency was 30%ROI. So then.my journey began in the Cryptocurrency world. I became fully a Cryptopreneur January 2016 after my wanna be cryptocoin called TBC (thebillioncoin) failed me. I have made some few mistakes afterwards but I can proudly say, me picking interest in Bitcoin (cryptocurrency) from a Ponzi biz, is one of the most smartest move I have ever made in my life.
How did you hear about bitcoin?

I am curios, why forum did not send the reason of post deletion to the user.
On this issue i believe the message sent is quite enough to pass the message "A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted." I guess any sensible individual after receiving this message needs to cross check the deleted reply to avoid such mistakes in future. The moderators are mostly seen as volunteers so lets not over work them (by asking for a specific reason each time a post is deleted) as there's is 90% chance they're right when a post is been deleted.

So why are you copying the top fifty users on one of my reports and then pasting it in Meta? Obviously to get merited as a merit analyst just as he duplicates his scam ico list everywhere and keeps bumping it for attention yet attacking another user for seeking one anyways you're damn good at your job so don't stop, keep bursting the scammers but leave merit analysis to those who're best at doing so. Everyone most not be a merit analyst all in the name of getting merits.
|
|
|
If I understood what you meant then don't think it's necessary. Although the merit system isn't perfect yet for showing the actually statistics of quality posters, it's doing a good job of differentiating between qualify posters based on the number of merits they have received (Exceptional posters, good and normal).

Very affordable price you got there. Trust level is excellent and you're good at your job. This is your go to guy. Keep the good work up.

So OP have you marketed any ICO project before and were you successful at doing so? Personally i don't take advice form advisor and don't think I'll start now. I look for mentors, those who are doing or have done what I'm about doing and were/are successful at doing so. Anyone can give an advice so if you haven't done that which you're advising it makes no sense.

I have been a big fan of the lightening network and I'm just waiting for its full launch so I can witness its effect first hand. I strongly believe the solution to bitcoin scalability problem will be the "Lightening network".
Question: OP you talked about the hard and soft fork and gave example to only hard fork what about soft fork? Give an example for better understanding. (Note, if bitcoin haven't experience it use other blockchain for example)
