8141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam on: May 01, 2020, 11:45:58 PM
No one can help you. This website is a blatantly scam and your coins are gone.

There is no such thing as 100% profit every 24 hours (along with an extra 25% per referral). This is very common with ponzi/pyramid schemes and cheap scams which are desperate for stealing people's money. Crazy how people still fall for things like this. =/
8142  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost second password Blockchain.com old wallet on: May 01, 2020, 10:16:54 PM
I didn't know that blockchain had the possibility of using 2 passwords, I'm going to take the guess and say it's an old feature.
It is, and I'm not sure if thats (exclusively) an old feature: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/210929703-Advanced-Security-

Unfortunately, there isn't anything OP can do. Even Blockchain's support can't help him (according to the link above).

Quote
Second Password
For additional security, you can choose a second password that is asked whenever you want to spend funds. As with your main password, if you forget your second password, we cannot reset it for you. Make sure you backed up your wallet before setting a second password. Create a second password by clicking Set Second Password.
8143  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost second password Blockchain.com old wallet on: May 01, 2020, 08:25:19 PM
I don't think there is anything you can do. Maybe contact their support? If they have any solution for people that lost their secondary passwords (or if that's an issue on them), they may help you, but I think it's unlikely. Other than that, no way you can get access to your wallet.
Você deveria ler isso... on: May 01, 2020, 05:34:24 PM

Cheesy
8145  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TAB TRADER SCAM AND THIEF PROGRAM IT COST ME LOST 6000 DOLLARS on: May 01, 2020, 01:22:46 PM
I did not download a fake wallet but rather from the official website that referred me to the Google Store
That's not the only way you could have messed up. Phising and malwares can occur from many sides. You could have been infected with a different app, or you could have been hacked in other ways. Even your BitTrex could have been hacked somehow. However, those are only POSSIBILITIES. I'm not saying this is what happened. This is what COULD have happened with you or anyone else. And in the same way, that could have been their fault.

If the problem from me , how do I buy at a high price and sell at a cheap price?
Does this do sane?
I mean, if you somehow ended up leaking your API keys (malware, phishing, etc...), the user with possession of your keys could do any kind of trades (along with what permissions you choose for it) without any issues. They could, for example, buy or sell any coins they wanted for any price they wanted, which is what seems to have happened. When you give TabTrader your api key, they do all of this stuff in your name (selling, buying, trading, etc...). If a malicious actor also gets hold of that key - from you or TabTrader - , he can do the same, but in a way you didn't permitted and which benefits him (e.g selling low and buying high).

I'm not saying it's your fault and TabTrader is clean. And neither I said thats all their fault. Only them can give you an answer, and they said they are investigation, so you can only wait. In the end, I can only see them possibly giving you any kind of reimbursement if they admited it was their fault and that their system/app were breached, which we can't if it happened.

I hope it all goes well for you. I have used them before and never had any issues, but this doesn't make them hack-proof. Losing your coins like this is one of the most frustrating things that could happen with anyone.
8146  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TAB TRADER SCAM AND THIEF PROGRAM IT COST ME LOST 6000 DOLLARS on: May 01, 2020, 12:42:52 PM
There are some preliminary findings which we are trying to confirm.
Related to security issues in your app or OP simply getting his API keys compromised by something that was his entirely responsibility (e.g malware in his device, phishing, etc...). I'm not trying to spread any FUD, but if there is any possibility of your app being vulnerable in anyway, you need to disclose it.

I myself have used your app for quite some time and only stopped recently because you do not support my favorite local exchange, but I still have the app installed in my phone. I don't want to risky anything because of a possible issue on your part. =/

Now, if the issue is on your hands, OP, I can't see why TabTrader would return anything to you. Electrum or Bitcoin Core don't reimburse people if they get hacked or download a fake wallet.
8147  Local / Economia & Mercado / Re: Venda de servidor electrum privado on: May 01, 2020, 12:21:18 PM

Onde o servidor seria hosteado?
8148  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Filter for Posts on: May 01, 2020, 11:23:26 AM
~
The search feature is not perfect. I have tried myself and many of my posts don't show up (maybe it takes some time to index the posts or some are just ignored/bugged/etc). Something else you could also do is advanced search with Google:

Code:
Aroshnoor "Twitter Profile" site:https://bitcointalk.org

This searches in BitcoinTalk for posts with the exact text "Twitter Profile" and that also show Aroshnoor. Of course, there are many false-positives as someone could post his twitter profile in a post and mention Aroshnoor, or him itself could post something else there. But it's another tool you can use to find what you want.
8149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: unconfirmed transaction need help on: May 01, 2020, 09:59:48 AM
just now i paid 190 USD for BTC.com Transaction Accelerator service. let see what happen

d3930773ac8eec5e64d5744358ab35deec01d076bf72951b364fdcd2ff0a40bb
You used a low fee there as well. Tongue

If the mempool doesn't get cleared a bit and new big batches of transactions come in, you may even get this transaction stuck, which won't allow the pool to try confirming your first transaction...

Edit: just thought that they can literally confirm their own receiving transaction lol
8150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: unconfirmed transaction need help on: May 01, 2020, 08:33:50 AM
Telegram Chanel this user  @BTCcomHelpx  ask pay btc directly to him to complete the acceleration.
De him just randomly send you a message on Telegram after you joined the channel? That's 100% a SCAM!

Please do not send money to anyone other than DIRECTLY through the website. NEVER trust people that start texting you on Telegram/Discord/etc... people are easily impersonated there and all the scammers want is a new user to try to pull up some trick.

Also, they are charging over $170 because pushing a transaction directly to miners is usually really expensive. If you were receiving the coins (to an wallet you own) or if you w ere sending from Electrum wallet with RBF enabled, you could make it get confirmed for way cheaper. Exodus lacks a lot of features, so that's why I usually suggest people to not use them.
8151  Other / New forum software / Re: Ia it possible to stop the Project? on: May 01, 2020, 08:07:13 AM
Is it still possible to discontinue the progress of Epochtalk? And just focus on improving bitcointalk.org?
Just a question and a suggestion; also because most of us already get used to it.
Alghough I know its a big waste if it stopped, but I think it would consume a lot more before we finally have the new forum.
Isn't it pretty much done already (at least most basic features)? theymos said the only thing missing is fixing bugs and polishing the software[1]. Tongue

After 5 years and a lot of BTC, you want it to be discarded?

8152  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum listaddresses --funded | What does funded mean? on: May 01, 2020, 07:47:46 AM
AFAIK, funded means addresses that received transactions at some point (or not empty as the name suggests? at least, mine seems to behave differently).

75 addresses got coins.
35 didn't get coins.
100 total addresses.

You always have more addresses than what you used, so your total is usually bigger than the number of funded.
8153  Local / Brasil / Re: Quanto vai atingir o real até o final do ano? on: May 01, 2020, 05:34:54 AM
8154  Local / Primeiros Passos (Iniciantes) / Re: Alguém conhece a fincryptos? É legitimo ou Scam? on: May 01, 2020, 05:13:29 AM
Eu nao investi nada ainda.
Obrigado

A palavra chave é o "apenas". Cheesy

is it correct m/44'/0'/1'?
Yes. I’m not sure if both

Code:
m/44'/0'/1'

and

Code:
m/44'/0'/1'/0'

are the same thing, but you could try the full one if the first one doesn’t work.

8159  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: MY BITCOIN HAS DISAPPEARED IN MY WALLET on: April 30, 2020, 05:58:50 AM
I checked address on which I received btc last time and I see that it shows balance 0.5 btc. So the money is still there. The question is how to restore it. Any suggestions?
Would you mind posting the BTC address here? Does it start with a 1 or 3? Did you create the wallet and got those 0.5 BTC yourself?

Are those 2 separated wallets (different wallet ids and passwords) or the one with 0.5 BTC is like an additional/extra wallet that you created on the same blockchain.com account as the first?

Try doing the same as the user above did, described in this link: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/65284

But in the step 6 (derivation path), select “legacy” in the top and change the second 0 in the textbox (from right to left) to an 1.

Dude... you legit think you randomly found a wallet online with $3 billions worth of BTC? Huh

Stop and think a bit. What are the odds that you just found one of BTC’s richests addresses like this?
