8141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: April 07, 2020, 09:31:13 AM
Can anyone tell me if you know any website where you can play online chess with other people
and that both man can invest crypto and winner takes it all?
I can't find the casino that do this but I've tried the platform of chess.com.

You can bid and look for your opponent here or outside the forum, send the bet through an escrow or hold it depends on your agreement if you trust each other.

Much like a P2P chess online platform with the setup of betting.

Do you still believe that crypto expects to be halving?
It's not crypto but bitcoin will be having the halving event this May 13,2020.

36 days from now.

I'm always checking the worldwide stats through this website --> https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
8144  Other / Off-topic / Re: How To Earn Bitcoin Using The Brave Browser And Referral Program on: April 07, 2020, 07:26:34 AM
Can you give us some stats?
How much is being earned in what time period?
What I've heard it's not that much.

But that's a good extra if you just use the browser and click some ads that will show as you browse, close it and then get back to what you're doing and repeat the cycle.
8145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look at the setup that is developing right now for crypto on: April 07, 2020, 06:45:43 AM
The situation that we are with today is still hot and floating in the air. I'd wait until the exact halving day or even after that and take time to sit back and relax for the next 6 months or more for the spike.
8146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 06:12:57 AM
Well, people can lose lives in coronavirus but at the same time people might lose their money and become hand to mouth because of gambling.

So i would like to know your opinion, whether you think gambling is more dangerous or coronavirus is more dangerous for the people ?
What do you think is much important to you?

Leisure that you can recover as many times as you can or your only life?
8147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin&Altcoins - Fake Investment Products That Pollute the Environment on: April 07, 2020, 05:39:12 AM
All of us are using bitcoin as an investment but those people say that bitcoin is a fake are missing the point why bitcoin was made by satoshi.

It's made as a peer to peer e-cash system. Then being an investment is just the latter.
8148  Other / Off-topic / Re: Top 5 Gadgets You need watch for in 2020 on: April 07, 2020, 05:00:04 AM
It made me like what?!! when I've read the colgate thing.

I've really looked upon to their website and it's for real, they're innovating. Price is ranging $200 but not part of my plan for this year, I guess I'll get an upgrade first before aiming for any of those.
8149  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19: Do not worry the market worry on people. on: April 06, 2020, 02:12:17 PM
Virus and its reaction to the markets has always been connected.

Realizing that bitcoin dropped and recovered, this wouldn't be a problem anymore. Be amazed how bitcoin recovered rapidly after it gave everyone a chance to buy at its dip.

The recovery stil isn't full and it's hard to tell if this will happen and when. Also, further dump is possible too.
At the moment is still hard to predict how the situation with virus will develope and when all this crisis is going to end and that will affect the Bitcoin market too.
How much in your opinion it has to recover until knowing that it has fully recovered? I'm liking the view currently that it was back to $7,100. And the recover that it made from the bottom was amazing.

Yes, predicting what's next is hard but let's appreciate the current move that it's doing.

Thanks, I'm not from that region so I barely monitor news there.

What the hell they are thinking?

My guess would be that they prefer non-local test subjects because "lives are cheaper there".

That's pretty cruel and inhumane. Even China tested theirs on the locals rather than outsourcing from another country.

Extracted from the BBC article, this statement is sufficient to make bloods boil:
Quote
Jean-Paul Mira, head of intensive care at Cochin hospital in Paris, then says: “If I can be provocative, shouldn't we be doing this study in Africa, where there are no masks, no treatments, no resuscitation?
This is unacceptable.

Total inhumane. Sad

We're no longer living in the past and they have to understand what equality and compassion is.
8151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Birthday Satoshi, April 5, 1975 on: April 06, 2020, 12:08:50 PM
If that's the declared birthdate of Satoshi, it will not harm you to greet him. Belated happy birthday to the boss!
8152  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is GTA VI gonna be the most expensive game ever released by Rockstar? on: April 06, 2020, 11:18:25 AM
After reading the topic, I've searched around to look for GTA VI and then a one day old article appeared.

--> https://screenrant.com/grand-theft-auto-gta-6-leaks-rockstar-false/

--> https://www.dexerto.com/gta/clickbait-gta-6-leaks-debunked-by-grand-theft-auto-5-voice-actor-1349360

No definite price, no definite update. Before assuming that it would be the most expensive franchise, let's wait until Rockstar validates them all.

Do you have source for this?

I don't find it correct if they will do that. They should test those who were already positive and still fighting up to this moment.

It's on several news sites like AlJazeera and BBC

8154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has Seen a Major Boost Amid Dollar Crisis on: April 06, 2020, 10:03:44 AM
That's a lot of money but I will not expect something out of this world because the money is needed by every beneficiary to buy their needs. How much is the percentage of the receivers that will use it to buy some sort of investment?

Such as bitcoin, stocks or gold? there might a percentage but that can be smaller than we can ever think.
8155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: April 06, 2020, 09:14:23 AM
Thinking and calculating how much you have totally lost in gambling might give you a knock in your head if you truly want to recover from your addiction and quit gambling.

There are several methods and you have to choose what's the most comfortable for you.

It's like trying to make an alcoholic stop drinking by showing you the empty bottles he drank in his "career". Cheesy

They say that a chain smoker uslally spends so much money on cigarettes that he could buy a new luxury car but all he gets for those money is cancer.

Addicts are self-destructive and you won't change that by showing them their past mistakes.
Alcohol and cash are two different things.

You can buy as much as alcohol as you want when you have money and drink all of it getting drunk as the benefit. But it's painful to watch that you are losing money and count it all of your life how much you have lost instead of saving.
8156  Other / Off-topic / Re: Racism roll as two French Doctors suggested testing of vaccines in Africa on: April 06, 2020, 08:38:22 AM
French Doctors suggested testing vaccine in Africa for this covid-19 virus just like they did for AIDS, the issue is Africans their lab rat ,despite the fact that there are other country with high death roll, why cant they try it in their own country. What your own opinion on this
Do you have source for this?

I don't find it correct if they will do that. They should test those who were already positive and still fighting up to this moment.
8157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: April 06, 2020, 07:32:11 AM
However, we never know if they don't gamble when they play with their friends.
Then age restriction wouldn't matter in that case.

Maybe we can say that 5 years old prohibited from playing gambling, but I guess that children with less than 10 years old or more than 10 years are gamble with their friends. But of course, they don't visit the casino because they know that it is prohibited and they can't go there.
No need for them to visit the casino, they can create their house casino if they want to. Kids today are explorer and they would love to explore in things that will give them curiosity.
8158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thanks everyone... on: April 06, 2020, 07:01:08 AM
Congrats.

The knowledge that you have learned and will be learned soon is what matters. You'll get to know more about it if you keep researching and make reading a habit.
8159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Protect yourself from various covid-19 conspiracy theories on: April 05, 2020, 10:56:51 AM
I don't believe quickly when there are news that I've seen coming from unreliable source or websites. Like those face masks are no longer safe, indeed they are not safe if you are not using it properly.

There are contexts missing and it's being manipulated by the media. They used to this kind of puzzle for the right words so that they can do what they want to do. Spread FUD in real life and misinform the people. Most of the time it's the hidden agenda paid by someone big or coming from an opposition political party.
8160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 05, 2020, 10:39:21 AM
Woah, you really have said it just yesterday. That's very much the solution as they have been into expenses as well but without coming in for the cash flow. NBA players have made that much and it's ok for them because everyone is in bad situation.

What if someone didn't agree of what they are asking?

Well, that will be their problem since they are all in contract.
But here is the thing. They are all in NBA contract and if it is the management who will change something then it can happen.

I don't know about the law though. Perhaps they will also need the help of the players association so that players could sign an agreement.
A lot of money will be at stake here. They don't want their own employer which is NBA to go bankrupt or else they will lose their own jobs as a basketball player.
They can make certain changes to the contract if they want to or don't need any of it but only the approval of the players.
