There is so much FUD here I could claw my eyes out. If you lost money on the project you are not alone and I can empathize as I bought in near the top. It's time to move on.

Mercatox is hosting a USER based vote to remove eBTC.
They do this occasionally when a large group messages them to remove a coin.
If you want to buy in after the swap that is up to you. It's certainly less risk but for the price you are getting it at a 1\5 of it's corrected value and once the swap finished it will likely be too late.
I can't stop anyone from shitting all over this project and it's hard to defend something I lost a 25% of my portfolio too. Even still the room for growth is on a massive scale so it's ignorant to not hold any.
I am a bagholder. (small bag) but I am someone who wants to see this project develop. I am sick of the fud and the apparent smear campaign to sway community value in the project. Stop trying to high-jack this forum with your ecash or e-whater.

I am hodling and many others are as well. I voted no" for delisting on mercatox. Only problem is that if price goes up in future then dev will dump more coins, what about that? Dev has unlimited supply because of code flaw, right? You better believe the coding is going to be checked when it's corrected. If not then it will fail. That is the whole purpose of the swap. To get RID of the bad coding. That is the FIRST thing that will be checked because we ALL know the problem. It's not a secret lol. Don't spread the fud. It was not fud, I had a question i asked. |

i only got 5k ebtc, I won't even bother selling for 5 cents. I'm 99.99999 percent sure this is a scam. But just for the off chance that the swap is actually happening ill just hold them for the hell of it.
There is no dev team its a one man team with alternate accounts.
I will hold as well, even if I know it's scam. But better than selling at few cents lol. Plus I have not invested it's just sell-buy-sell-buy stuff |

Once ebtc is delisted, it may live on, but no one can ever trade it on exchanges again, as what occurred here is a crime and fraud by the founder and he will be caught soon.
I still dont see the crime in it. Satoshi21 created in his basement with a simpel smart contract 21million tokens. He gave them away for free, with just a philospohy. After that the market went crazy, but it is not Satoshi his fault it hyped. The hype, what this coins stands for etc was all in the minds off those who bought it. There was nothing else. That he was trying to cash out was no crime either, there is no law he could not cash out, and or unplug his site and delete his accounts. I agree, some people even made few grands from it. If some people invested in this coin it was their choice and they are only to blame. |

Like all of us, ebtc was perceived as a great idea until we all quickly learned we were scammed by Sot. 80 eth is what I lost above and beyond what I sold yesterday. It would have been a long term 5-10 year hold. Once I learned the website is down, it was only registered for 1 year, there is no new dev. team, there is no token swap (nor can there be), that Sot. was a fraud and scammer who panicked because he knew he defrauded everyone, and people making up lies and fake websites and news on this, I got out. If it was legit, it would have been a good long term hold. My loss total was 80 eth and that's on Sot. alone.
Eth is long term hold coin, it doesn't make sense to throw away money in new blabla coin. |

People like Satoshi don't panic UNLESS they are guilty of committing fraud and run, which he/she did. Second, the website which is offline was registered to expire in 1 year, so Sotoshi had no long term intention of etbc. Third, fake people are making posts about a new team taking over and having the keys and doing a swap which is all a lie, as such an announcement would be made on the eBTC Twitter account or website if it wasn't offline. Current eBTC owners are gullible and refuse to admit they were scammed. The faulty code still exists and most likely more tokens are being created today and continually and they are selling them to more losing bag holders. The fraud and scam writing is on the wall, but ebtc owners refuse to admit they were scammed by the running Satoshi and they base their hopes on this fake news board where ANYONE can say they are the development team for ebtc. There is no takeover. There will be no token swap. There is no website. There is no dev. team that ever took over. It was a one person scam who panicked and ran because of his guilt in what he did. Anyone can create a smart contract and airdrop like Satoshi did. If you bought, sell and get some of your money back before ebtc's price goes to eltc's price - under .01 soon when people realize the scam. The authorities have been contacted and will track down Satoshi and he needs to refund 80 Eth to the person he scammed and he knows who it is, as he reads this board and posts on it.
This whole situation is just a huge mess, why people still hang around this scam is a mystery to me. I guess it's true what they say, an idiot is born every minute. Because some have invested money in eBTC, some waiting for token swap news, some for other news and some for drama. |

Team behind is doing a great job in the last 36 hours after worst case.
I hold my tokens. Seams like they get it on the right way. The train is still running. Has been faster a beginning, but it's running.
Can become a really crazy story with a happy end for all those who stayed relaxed or bought in now cheap.
With new contract and swap we will see clear.
Maybe swap will start in 24 or 48 hours. Can took longer. And no panic. They will announce it. There is enough time for everybody to swap.

I really don't understand , after so much , you still trust this project. Please understand, deleting website, social media accounts, medium etc , They were planning to run away, may be something didn't worked out. Now they want to pump again. People sharing that this and that is going on in the telegram group, wasn't we recieving such announcements earlier too.
I feel sorry for people who actually invested and bought extra. Hope this coin swap do occur and people are able to recover their money. If the coin swap is on merca, are their any communicatiion proof they have done with Mercatox shared. They must have spoken to mercatox about the swap etc. Is there anything disclosed. There is no roadmap, no business value, nothing good about this coin.
If coin swap occurs good, but please don't buy more at this time, minimise ur losses. If this is really going to be a great project you will get plenty of chances to buy after swap.
