I like this. A lot. Just tried it on your demonstration page (with manual signing) and I believe that something like this would be a big improvement. It would at least make signing into a Bitcoin related websites a lot easier.
8164  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long have you been logged in for? on: April 04, 2014, 06:45:59 AM
Total time logged in: 59 days, 18 hours and 9 minutes.

That is a nice discount. Man. I promised myself to not buy more games, but oh well. Will be checking out your website in a bit.
8167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction not confirming despite 0.2mBTC fee on: April 03, 2014, 12:18:58 PM
There is a gap of 55 minute between block 293944 and 293945.
When no block is found, your unconfirmed transaction won't confirm no matter how high the fee is.

So in the future, if there is a gap of 5-6 days between the blocks, how we will be able to do shopping using BTC? It'll be extremely difficult.
Lol whut? The average time is around 10 minutes and 1 hour blocks are already extremely rare. A few days is almost impossible. Hahaha.
8168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Realsolid..mcxNOW scam? at it again? on: April 03, 2014, 12:04:12 PM
Here we go again. People just can't leave him alone can they? They have been screaming scam from the start and yet the exchange is still around, still going strong and RS is still working on it.

So, he sold some shares (or maybe it's his backup account, how the fuck would you know?), why do you even care? What does it matter if he has less shares? The only person he hurts with that is himself, not the users.
8169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction not confirming despite 0.2mBTC fee on: April 03, 2014, 11:50:01 AM
Just received one confirmation 58 minutes later, I'd like to understand why it took so long.

Your transaction was created soon after block 293944 was found (Apr 3, 10:21:04 GMT), right?

Correct, I understand all that but I'm wondering why there was a 55min gap? Is that common. Just an outlier in the probability distribution of finding a nonce?
Happens once in a while. The 10 minute thing is average. That won't happen all the time.
8170  Other / Meta / Re: Bring back the newbie jail on: April 03, 2014, 11:06:28 AM
I am against newbie jail. I don't think any open forum should have a restriction like that.
I think the "signature spammers" are a bigger problem. (those people who have been here 2 months with 3000 posts) But obviously this is another discussion.

You can turn off viewing signatures in your user preferences. It's what I ultimately did to mitigate the problem.

That wonīt stop the main problem.
They get money, the more they post.
Some user have started to comment everything with a one liner.
Itīs really annoying.

Please, stop allowing paid signatures ( or only them which pay for posting).
Or or, hear me out on this one. Only allowed it for Full members and higher. Much easier.
8171  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: My new TREZOR on: April 03, 2014, 08:32:50 AM
I could not find the cost of it mentioned anywhere on bitcointrezor.com. Can someone please point out what I am missing ?

I'm pretty sure they're sold out. I REALLY would like to know if they'll have the "First Edition" engraved on the back as older pictures show.

I understand they're sold out. But is there any price tag ?
The price tag was 1BTC for a plastic one and 3BTC for a metal one. This always have been the price and they don't change them, never. Doesn't matter how much 1BTC is worth. And pre-orders are currently closed.
8172  Other / Meta / Re: Bring back the newbie jail on: April 03, 2014, 07:31:45 AM
I am all for the newbie jail and I don't give two shits that the forum has to be open. I hate all those newbies coming in here, spreading FUD, creating bullshit topics and just spamming the place. The newbie jail was a good way to prevent that from happening.
8173  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [SELL] Cigarettes for $3-$4 per pack, shipped worldwide. Escrow accepted. on: April 03, 2014, 07:22:48 AM
I used to order from a European outlet with regular cash. If i were still a smoker I would be definitley be ordering. The warning labels were usually in Russian with Ukrainian tax stamps. Fun times!
Hahaha. These cigarettes have Moldavian tax stamps and the messages are in Romanian. It's fun to try reading it Grin

8176  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Vanity Wallets on: April 02, 2014, 04:21:08 PM

30 day money back guarantee. If you do not like the vanity wallet or wish for a different name simply send us the private key after the wallet has been emptied by you and we will generate a new one, or refund the money.
they can reimport  if they want  with private key  after claiming refund

they could but that's why we have them send us the private key if they want a refund, as for the scam accusation you are entitled to your opinion. I've made this post non-self moderated, so that everyone may post freely what they want but please keep it topic related.  We do not have access to private keys they are deleted immediately, if you do not trust us or any other vanity wallet gen please dont use us, this site is for those who cannot generate their own.  Also if we did steal wallet keys and steal the money Bitpay has our contact information, and law enforcement could be contacted, if the situation presented itself, which it will not.
I do advice you guys to look into split-key generation. That would make it easier for you to proof that you have no intention to harm anyone and it would show the users that you mean serious business.

Changed my posts a bit. Didn't mean to come across like you intend to scam someone.
8177  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Vanity Wallets on: April 02, 2014, 04:18:23 PM
the possible scammer calling others scammers check the photo >.<  ive got a long list of member accounts who wanted to buy accounts from me to "try something new"  haha

https://i.imgur.com/RCvI96z.png
The only reason I contacted you was to try and find out which account I have to watch out / warn for. Did you never wonder why I didn't send you another PM? You really think I would want to buy an account? Why would I? People know me on here, I have a good trust rating and have no need at all to change. Tongue

Anyway, you might get scammed by this website. Just trying to warn people and point them to other places that have been known to be legit.
8178  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Vanity Wallets on: April 02, 2014, 03:59:25 PM
wasnt it vanity.appspot that stole my money? i believe so. you cant just jump in and accuse people of being thieves without proof lol, although i do understand you concern
No, dude. That was some other pool. vanitypool.appspot.com has been around for a while now (as you can see here Vanity Pool - vanity address generator pool). They explain actually how they work and why they can never ever see and touch your private key and they have been used without any problems.
Also, I base my accusation on something. How about no information about the generating process? Or that you have to encrypt your wallet against abuse. That won't help when they have your private key. I am just trying to point out the stuff that seems dodgy.
8179  Economy / Gambling / Re: Mems LIST OF NEWBIE FRIENDLY GAMBLING SITES on: April 02, 2014, 03:36:05 PM
You still have bitvegas on the list.

setting to pending now so  I can follow up later.
Hey mem,

BitVegas is still alive but withdrawals are not working anymore. Why? Because the hot wallet doesn't get refilled. And why is that? Because the owner has been AWOL for 3 months or so. We, as a team, have tried to contact him, without success.

It would be best if you removed BitVegas from the list so that people won't deposit anymore. We already shutdown all games, but that's about everything we can do. The team never had access to the server itself. We were only there to enforce the rules and kick/ban people.
