Chelsea dominated in their game against Everton with 81% ball possession. They also got 10 shot on target, but they couldn't achieve 3 points from the match. Everyone expected Chelsea to win this match. Many people including me placed a bet on Chelsea. Even when the first half ended in goalless draw. I thought Chelsea will bounce back in the second half and probably win the game. But, unfortunately Branthwaite equalized the match 4 minutes after Mount was able to score. And the match ended with 1-1 draw. However, Chelsea are now 3 points behind Liverpool, and with their performance lately It will be quiet difficult for them to slide up on the table.
Chelsea is getting very easy to play against these days. All the opponent got to do is just sit back and wait on the ball to counter attack because all Chelsea do is pass the ball from side to side with out any offensive plans. I don't know if the mounting injury list has been the reason why they are dropping points in three of their last five Premier League fixtures. Chelsea, who were initially a point clear of Manchester City in the league standings, are now four points adrift of Pep Guardiola's side. They are also three points behind second-placed Liverpool. It is just a bit hard to find the balance in the squad with the missing players, this will probably be the toughest period off their season. Whereas previously Chelsea looked perfect when playing without a pure striker, but this time when several key players from the midfielder were also injured Chelsea couldn't do anything more like before. Well, even though Roma won in last night's match but the opponent is only Spezia and also, Roma still has to fight hard to win at home against the bottom ranked team. Inter Milan may be playing well at moment, more domestically and been able to standout against their fellow country rivals, but they are not a match of Liverpool. They play a very slow game, everything about the players is just slow, even their transition and tactics. Liverpool posses fast wingers and fast fullbacks that can disable your idea of play. Besides Italian teams do not really pose as a big threat to an English side. Agree, for some reason when the English team against the Italian team I personally feel the English team has the advantage with a fast game although indeed, there is no guarantee about that because even at Euro 2020 yesterday Italy could win the title.
