8181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: October 17, 2017, 04:56:17 PM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

Patience is vital in this kind of business, just like trading in fiat currency wherr you buy low and sell high. Need not to worry about what you have done in the past, whats important is you learned the aspects of trading alts to bitcoin.

It's really important in trading and in just about everything in life that you let the past go. Make your mistakes, learn from them, but then forget about them and focus on the next decision. If you continue to regret past mistakes you will always struggle to make correct decisions in the future for fear of making a mistake again.
It is all about learning from our mistakes and not letting it take the best of us but rather make the best out of us. There is no one who has not made mistake, but it is how you react to them that matters. Positively or negatively, the choice will always be yours and no one can make that decision for you.

Very true and I do agree with all of it.
We dont need others to make the decisions. Some just do it so they can blame someone else. That is just for cowards.
If you know what you are doing then why believe the prediction of other people.
Make your own predictions and somehow you will also learn from it.
8182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Alternatives to Directbet? on: October 17, 2017, 11:07:02 AM
Just bumping the thread guys. NBA will be starting soon, did anyone found another site like directbet.eu? I can't find anything yet. Most of them requires KYC and some signing ups which is somehow very hassle compared to directbet.

Yes still waiting if there will be something out there just like Directbet. Also a fan of NBA and would love to put some bets on my team.

i cant compare nitro with directbet but nitro also trusteable bookie in my opinion.wish they comeback someday and continue their business.

A good choice but not as user friendly as directbet which makes transactions really fast.
8183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: October 17, 2017, 08:20:25 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

It is because also of the news that have been spreaded.
They have been fed with just bad news against bitcoin and they thought it is just used for that reason. Have talked to a number of people and that is all they think about.
Also now because of its expensive price that makes them back off. They think it is just for rich people.
8184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which will be the real Bitcoin after november? on: October 16, 2017, 05:36:14 PM
I got really confused here.
It seems like there is much of misunderstanding.
One guy is at the bulls eye. Bitcoin will remain bitcoin.
Take out segwit and take out everything what will be left? Still it is bitcoin.
The support is what you are trying to imply. Will they support segwit 2x which coulf lead to a drastic drop since it will half the investors.
If something is created it will be an altcoin. Period.
8185  Economy / Economics / Re: What would it take to convince a billionaire to on: October 16, 2017, 03:36:08 PM
They became billionaires because they dont do that.  Grin
Even when they are still millionaires they may have thought of getting in the safe line to prevent lost.
This people will not just make a risky decision. It will be hard to encourage someone who have been on the money business.
8186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: October 16, 2017, 02:16:03 PM
This is the regret of every crypto holder, wakeup and face the truth. I believe Bitcoin is still young and we can brag in the future that we bought bitcoin at 5700usd lols.

I havent met someone who did not regret it.
It seems everytime I talk to someone we end up talking about the price before. We do always say if only we did it we could have been all rich now. Because of selling every bitcoin that we get whenever the price hikes we did not get a lot of profit. We waited to buy back but we havent got the right time and just regret it over and over. It seems we need to trust bitcoin more.
8187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 16, 2017, 01:00:25 PM
I think there is no perfect as perfect timing to invest and buy. What is good is there is a mindful buying or let's say the knowledge when to but next. I bought mine when the price slopes down during the September crisis and now I am earning big amount that what I expected. Now my suggestion is to buy when the price went down , but its not bad as well to buy now since i do think that bitcoin will increase its value this year and years to come.

Correct, there is no right time. Just one strong will and the belief that bitcoin will go beyond a price that is unimaginable.  If we just wait and wait for the right price to buy then we might regret it.
Look at this now, there have been many people who stopped doing the buying trend because of the thought of an expensive price. But it end up it will grow more. That is regret there.
8188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 16, 2017, 08:09:57 AM
I think this is hard to predict. i think as long as there is technology bitcoin will continue. As long as people continue using bitcoin it will survive long.  I guess it will because people crazy and hooked with it.

Yes, it is still on the phase where it is being introduced more.
There will be big names that will come out and it will be the cause of another price hike. To those who have fans and followers, they will really help a lot when they got into bitcoin.
8189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: October 15, 2017, 11:37:00 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?

I started gambling for fun but as I got addicted to it and have found some methods to win , it turned out to be for profit now. Though I have never invested on it from my own pocket. I use the money I have won.

I dont know if it is true or not but it is really questionable.
I havent got the chance to win in gambling with websites so i still have that doubt.
I can pm my history of bets and you will see it.
I am sti winning it all back.
8190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 15, 2017, 01:19:03 AM
Yes, nowadays it’s being used in crime, they buy and sell online and pay by bitcoin. Because it’s untraceable. So police can’t get clue to caught them. I think it’s dangerous.

These are the reasons why some countries wont legalize bitcoin because they think of the disadvantages may ruin the nation interest that instead bitcoin will helping the people it might sent them to chaos because of these bad elements in the society. That is why some nations will only adopt bitcoin after if it was fully regulated.

It is true.
If there is something that have been reported which deals with the bitcoin technology being used for illegal transactions in one country it could really be dealt as a bad item hence will be banned for usage to avoid it.
Even if just a percentage of the crime gets down, that is still something.
8191  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 15, 2017, 12:02:28 AM
Is it still profitable to invest in casino bankrolls?
No, people don't gamble any more.  Roll Eyes
Of course it is profitable, as long as people are losing money it will be profitable.

If I'm not wrong every year online gambling is growing faster than earlier because of cryptocurrencies popularity so in the long run investing on a good casino bankrolls is profitable but don't put all your money in any single site instead invest on few good casinos. If anyone wins big money also you will not lose huge money from this high-risk investments.

Yes so it should be perfect.
Investing is already a gamble and what more in doing it in a gambling site. It doubles the risk.
So picking the right gambling site will be all that matters. The older the better and the developers and owners should be active in every way including updates.
8192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do you think satoshi nakamoto kept his identity as a secret? on: October 14, 2017, 07:54:34 PM
You made something non taxable and somehow madr you a ninja that government are having a hard time to track every transaction that will happen. Also, he made something that became an asset and is now inflating.
Will you not run after that? They just dont say it but they will want to question what you have done amd your purpose.
8193  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 14, 2017, 06:37:44 PM
Something tells me it is always before the end of the year that makes a lot of impact.
Maybe holidays really does a good job into making people hold their money until that event.
Now that bitcoin have grown to this price maybe some people are thinking this is a good chance to make money before withdrawing in December to celebrate.
I think it can continue to be valuable as long as we are holding it.
8194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: October 14, 2017, 05:21:03 PM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

As far as I know at the current curriculum in our country, it is not yet included. It would be a good idea though to include it in the program of IT and other related courses so students will learn more and apply their knowledge in their future career. If including crypto currency in the lessons of these courses have proven effective and helpful, why not include it to core subjects/units too.

And i dont think will be.
It will open up a hole to the government implementation of taxes.
This currency dont have tax even if you have a lot of it.
It is not seen in the ownership of one human being so how could it be taxed. They will not let students be knowing that. It will be told as against the government or worse.
8195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: October 14, 2017, 10:51:08 AM
I save it only for future purposes. There's no need for me to save bitcoins for fun. I take this thing seriously. Money is a serious thing since we need it in order to live a good life in this world. Saving bitcoins for fun can only be achieved if you have much more money than the amount of bitcoins that you've been saving.

I believe that the price of bitcoin will someday skyrocket. Maybe not like in an instant but slowly. The news and updates about bitcoin will be the one that indicate if that process will be shorter or longer. Plus, I have a whole life ahead of me so saving all the bitcoins that I've been earning will be a key for me accelerating in the career that I will be pursuing.

I do agree with that. Money is the one circulating in this world for us live.
We cant just play with it considering how expensive bitcoin is.
We are gambling our money just so we coud get more. Our salaries aint enough that is why we are doing this.
8196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Everything went back to december 2016 on: October 13, 2017, 07:58:28 AM
Cryptos are not tradable anymore... Not enough volume, bull vs bear....Bots....

What do you think about the recent crypto trend ? What are your strategies ?

For my part, except mining, cryptocurrencies trading is getting an hard hit.

Correct. It is moving like crazy and I know those are bots.
There is not much logic now and self thinking on when to trade back.
Prices just fall wirhout a valid reason. Just FUD and fake news can make anything crumble. Happened before when almost all alts are hit with 50 percent cut.
8197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is bitcoin on: October 12, 2017, 06:22:39 PM
I guess we all differ on how we see bitcoin or how we use it.
Depends if you just want it to be an asset or a trading tool to make it faster gaining more coin or as a currency which could buy other crypto currencies. That is all the use of it that I know since i havent tried buying physical items thru it.

8199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 12, 2017, 03:35:10 PM
Everything in this world have pros and cons, this one is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin that it is being used by criminals to do illegal activities like money laundering and trade of illegal stuffs. A big hurdle for government is to restrict these criminals and arrest them because transactions are anonymous and it is difficult to locate the criminals from it. BTW after regulation of bitcoin and taking additional measures it is expected that these things can be controlled in future.

And it seems like they have a hard time doing it.
The only one's who are getting arrested are those website wallet owners or trading website companies.
It needs help from the bitcoin holders itself. We are the ones who are being offered to sell our coins in a much better price just so they could do their illegal stuff.
8200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: October 12, 2017, 01:23:53 PM
for now my income from bitcoin is still small. dream I want to save to build a machine for bitcoin mining that can produce 5 bitcoin in 1 month. so I just wait for bitcoin every month. looks like it's so much fun.

It will not be fun to mine because it is boring. You will just leave your equipment and maintain it.
The fun there is when you are receiving the bitcoin and making use out of it. Imagine not doing anything anymore and money is coming to you. Just dont be shocked with the electricity bill.  Grin
