Wtf here,

Every time same thing...scam.scam....how much idiots exist here?

How u can see the different between scam or not scam please   ?

Simple when a wallet like above claims to have a working copy when the source is not even final yet replay protection has not been merged which would break every wallet once done, the github source points to bitcoin cash repository, claims to work and shows sending coins when the network does not even exist...

Im not saying Bitcoin Gold is a scam but the fakers trying to steal your keys they are not interested in your Bitcoin Gold most will be wanting your valuable BITCOIN keys im betting if you download these binaries and import your keys they will be send direct to the owner and your keys WILL be swept

There is a dev working on getting Bitcoin Gold into Electrum and this will be listed on the official website DO NOT use any wallet that is not listed and verified

when the deposit avaible for every exchanger?

At the earliest, will be November 1st. May have to wait a little longer for the BTG dev team to get their shit together. Then, we have to wait for each exchange to get their shit together. Also, I highly doubt every exchange is going to participate.

I would say a few days to a week after the 1st I guess it depends on how much time between starting testnet and mainnet

At least it gives me time to get my full node updated I built the windows binaries the other day from source and it's currently syncing from by bitcoin node

Bitcoin Gold seems rushed in my opinion. Solid team but, was it really needed? Things did not go a smooth and with Bitcoin Cash and honestly, I think all parties should agree on best way to move forward, together, rather than forcing forks, effectively trying to kill each other, including the original Bitcoin. Why not create another coin, a new blockchain with all features that you want? Because it is hard.

Things are going just as planned this was a snapshot Bcash was just a fork with different rules no other changes this is changing a lot more you cannot just seamlessly change the PoW algorithm

Is Bitcoin Gold only a big scam? There are very vague details, information about Bitcoin Gold

No scammers don't give that much money in bounty, testing and promoting

Yes was very good of them with the replay protection bounty

They used their own replay protection implementation BUT still paid the bounty for submitted code even though they did'nt use it because it still met the requirements put on it very honest gesture of good will

The maximum price for btc gold was 0.16 and even if we consider rounding btc price to 6k it still falls short of your claimed  1200 dollars.

It went up to 0.19 and almost hit 0.20 before it started it's massive decline

Has it been de-centralized again? Is the project real? How about the official launch time for mining? thank you in advance for your answers

Still planned for early november

Nice fake run up today. Trying to show bitcoin cash is strong enough to compete with a potential 2x hardfork. Hope both chains die before the end of the year.

I expect they will, no need to hope.

Holding BCH can just be seen as an insurance policy against a major disruption in the main BTC chain. I would not urge anyone to sell, but I do expect it to dwindle to Zero over a period of time.

Bloody dream on. Even all the crappy altcoin are above zero.

Maybe but if value dwindles down enough miners may just abandon altogether or the chain be too weak and vulnerable most alts don't rely on mining to keep them alive they rely on trusting a centralised entity

Someone saw the new BTG Electrum Gold Wallet?

http://electrum-gold.org/

Got back to school , you must try harder to scam us with your fake electrum wallet. If it was real it would be noted on the official Electrum site.

In all fairness electrum is opensource and this is just a fork of that modified for bitcoin gold but without checking the source code though it's hard to trust and I wouldn't recommend anyone use it until its been properly verified

If it is a fork where is the github source code ?

No, this is a scam as it looks like the web site is run by the same people who tried the "Claim your BTG here - just give us your BTC private keys" scam, that web site got shut down but they put this one on the same web host.

I never looked to be honest I did say "without checking the source code though it's hard to trust and I wouldn't recommend anyone use it until its been properly verified"

But I do know they are working on getting this to work on electrum but yea this does not seem to be anything to do with it

Running all 3 bitcoin clients at once is fun, can't wait to run 4 Wink

from where you got the wallet of gold? it's not available anywhere

Probably built from source that is available on github but not final and not recommended as it will be incompatible with the final version

Of course it's built from the current source code the same way everybody else (who is not retarded) does it. There is no such thing as "final" or "not final", it's the same software that the developers develop and use and of course it is and will be "compatible" (compatible with what? this is the only bitcoin gold implementation, there is nothing else). You really shouldn't talk about something you have apparently no clue about.

The source is not complete there are things like replay protection etc to be merged which would create invalid blocks using old code once done

Are you really that stupid? Using a wallet software doesn't create any blocks, the mining does. One more time - stop talking about something that you have no clue about.

Your node has to accept the blocks from the miners which would be invalid on the unfinished code

Im not criticising you im doing the same but only to get the chain up to date and ready for when the final version is released where it will then be updated like you will do

Am I too late for this?  Angry  I have 0.6 bitcoins on poloniex for a few weeks. Will I be able to claim 0.6 units of bitcoin gold? Will poloniex distribute bitcoin gold to people with btc balance???

Right now no its unlikely but if the value increases and their customers put pressure on them then they may support it eventually

How about windows wallet? When will the coin be launched for miners?

Should be early November

Before hardfork bitcoingold occurred ,, I sold my entire altcoin to get the free bitcoingold because I thought that later bitcoingold price would be better than the botcoincash price but it turned out my estimates were wrong. bitcoingold prices are no more than 1/2 the price of bitcoincash. Is there someone who can advise me ,,? still hold BTG or sell it now before the price gets destroyed, not even worth it anymore ,, ?
Thankz ,,

The only reason is because no one can trade it wait until the network goes live and the initial dumping is over then the network will stabilise and the value should increase

So, the dev is annonymous? I heard that replay-protection is still not implemented, is that correct?

There are a few devs but yes the main one is anonymous which is not a problem satoshi was anonymous too but the work being done is real and public for everyone to look at and check I do this every few days and replay protection is complete and they say it will be merged to the master branch in a few days.

The code looks to be almost complete now too

it's to be seen if they will dump all these accumulated BCH coins for BTC as soon as the hyper round ends

What hyper round? We're not in a period of EDA-lowered difficulty.

https://fork.lol/pow/difficulty

So ~1min blocks is not a hyper round

BTC Difficulty jumped up a lot and BCH difficulty lowered creating a more profitable chain and now the miners have raped it of all 2016 blocks in just over a day the EDA will be activated within the next day or two

And yes the EDA was triggered in the previous round due to the huge decline in BCH value compared to BTC
