Alex Pereira (+115) VS Israel Adesanya (-135)
For me, this is one of the most awaited fights in this event, and no wonder because these two have a history in their kickboxing career, Where Alex Pereira won those two matches, and history has repeated itself in the MMA rules where Alex Pereira Knocks out Adesanya in what I see Alex Pereira is forcing Adesanya to keep the pace and just aggressively following Adesanya when Adesanya decided to back up this really force Adesanya to always throw a jab, but I think Adesanya's game plan this time is going to be wrestling and he going to drown Alex in his wrestling game, so I would go with Israel Adesanya,

I was completely busy for the past couple of days and I certainly lost track of what is happening now, I am certainly not aware that the Practice was already starting, so what did I miss, but certainly after a quick review of the current practice here are the results for the FP1 and FP2 for the Australian Grand Prix and Albert Park Circuit, They really had a hard time with Turn 11 and also the traffic jam that could cause disaster. There are just a lot of happenings in the Australian GP and I can't wait to watch the race and what would happen with them. Toto Wolf basically said that Red Bull having a big domination is not something they should be guilty of, or FIA be guilty of, that's the nature of the sport and they had it from 2014 to 2020 as well and sometimes this happens and its part of the sport. I think he is right and this domination that Red Bull has will go on for as long as other teams can't catch them, if other teams start building better cars and reach to their level then we can have some difference. Look at 2021, sure you can argue if FIA gave the title to Max or not on the last lap, but it is true that Red Bull reached close to Mercedes that year, so other teams should try to do that towards Red Bull as well. This year is already over from just two races, we know Red Bull will win, but they should work on next years car right away.
Adrian Newey's design and ingenuity have proven that his aerodynamic design and lightweight body machine surely if there are some blueprints for the other teams think this is a great machine to copy, well if other teams would surely know the Aerodynamic design to it, but let's not takeout the credit for Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's performance if not for them for taming the Red Bull machines and their talent in great driving this is not possible as well, because we all know the driver is more important and without them that car ingenuity will not surely be shown, Aston Martin's car seems to be a hybrid between three different cars from last years variants: Alpine, Mercedes and Red Bull. Alpine for their pod concept with the curve on the top which is not similar to any of the above mentioned car designs. Mercedes for the front wing design but has slight variations to make it even more aerodynamically superior in every sense of the word. Leon was confident that he was going to be able to defeat Usman again and he did it even if it was by majority decision and not KO as before. I think he has become used to fighting Usman and then not as much fear as he did the first time they fought were Usman dominated three rounds and would have won by decision had Leon not pulled the Magic kick that Knocked him out. Leon's win settles any doubts that he won the first fight by luck, he deserve the Welterweight title.
For Usman, It is going to be another difficult time for him, he really thought he will be able to reclaim his title, a title held for a long time by him. He worked hard for this fight and prevented Leon any chance to knock him out again. It was a close fight and he could have won. Kamaru Usman after the fight said he was not done and was going to get back up, I will be looking to see maybe he will want to fight Leon again.

Funny how Ferrari is going from "this season is screwed " towards " we have such a package that we can continue to improve it during all races from now on" . Well....we're waiting , don't we ? I think all Ferrari fans desire to see them winning a championship one more time but having such a confidence in your car after in first race they had a DNF , makes me thinks maybe they are insane or trying to hide their mistakes or that car really have something special that can be improve during this year...  Not really looking good for the Ferrari team Carlos Sainz landed 7th position on the FP1 while Charles Leclerc landed in the 11th position for the FP1 it was really a struggle for most drivers and for their 1st drive in the Jeddah Corniche Circuit 1st practice run so it is really complicated putting your bet for them and even though Sergio Perez got a hard time in his 1st run he still manages to land on the 2nd spot, while Max Verstappen is putting a great show and making a 1:29.617 time while in the FP2 Perez now landed 3rd, while Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso makes a great job and getting a hang on this Circuit,

What makes it challenging is the track itself, for sure. Like the long straights and flowing corners, you really have to be careful by maintaining high speeds while doing those corners you know. There are tight turns that really push you to the edge and I think there would be some action in the actual race or something. The track is definitely hard, and it's a new track so less practice for them and less reference data. Yup! that is why there are initial Practices so racers that are new to the Circuit or have a new vehicle will be familiar with the curve and when will they turn to corners, I think the 1st practice tomorrow will be crucial for most racers, and their vehicles as well, well the fastest recorded time in the Jeddah Corniche Circuit was and Audi RS 3 LMS TCR (2021) with a time record of 1:16.986 that was driven by Gilles Magnus, in the 2022 WTCR Race of Saudi Arabia event,
Ferrari should be stronger on this track cause they are the fastest on the straight line. Now the thing that will decide if this race will be close is tire management. If Ferrari has better tire degradation then in Bahrain we can have a interesting race in our hand this weekend.
What straight line? I think this Circuit just has 3 or 4 straight lines and I think Jeddah Corniche Circuit is composed of 24 corners that are really absurd for new racers, but I guess F1 vehicles can out-maneuver this kind of circuit, it was really exciting to analyze the Circuit that racers will go race on and I think they already devise a tactical plan in approaching such obscure Circuit, and I think Sergio Perez already has some idea about this track because he surely got the 2nd fastest time recorded on this track with 1:28:200, using the Red bull Racing RB18 Well ,this season is already kinda over for my boys Ferrari and Charles really don't deserve this as he just got a penalty.

I really feel sorry for Charles man as the kid deserves a strong and reliable car because he was the only one who beat Max during kart days and man...I really want to see these 2 fight with almost equal cars.
This was really a bummer well it is not Charles Leclerc's fault it was the idea of the Ferrari team was forced to be replaced the Energy Store and Control Electronics on Leclerc’s engine which is a big No for the F1 Racing community, when Charles Leclerc shouted no power on his vehicle, this is not really looking good now for the Ferrari, and right now Max Verstappen is the championship, leader. |
