When you reach the prime of your life, everyone would have basic knowledge of coding and IT, where it becomes something like learning english or math in elementary school. I would strongly encourage learning some form of coding like python or c# or java, it teaches more than just coding, making programs, it developes critical thinking and problem solving skills.
