821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I learn trading ? on: May 07, 2018, 03:13:45 PM
Hello forumites,

I am interested in learning the rudiments of cryptocurrency trading and that led me here. But I discovered that here is just for airing opinions on coins and bounties ( permit me if I'm wrong) and most importantly I prefer visual materials to PDF.

Please suggest where I can get videos tutorial online and other useful sites.
Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions.

There are lack of resources regarding this. But largely you can relate it with securities trading and learn about analyzing the market technically.
There are much larger resource for securities trading and the only difference between the two market is crypto market is unregulated while securities are regulated.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is it important to look at the community before investing in their coin? on: May 07, 2018, 02:39:35 PM
Community is one of the factor. And yes the price fluctuation are greater with larger community.
Community is also a self advertising group, larger the community more is the adaption and users.
But again gaining a community is not that easy. Fake twitter followers don't count as community.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will this market collapse in May 2018 on: May 07, 2018, 02:26:21 PM
Are you too new to crypto?
Bitcoin has rose and dropped larger than than on a day.
The latest price trend are much more stable than it ever was.
Crypto has proved itself in much more difficult times, it's now an easy path ahead.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is going to accept crypto! on: May 05, 2018, 05:56:43 PM
Russia is one of the authorities which has moved forward in direction for the acceptance of cryptocurrency and speaking about it.
But what we should also consider is bitcoin and cryptocurrencies has higher degree of freedom in other European countries though the authorities never talk about it.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 30, 2018, 01:21:41 AM

This is the EOS rocket getting ready to launch towards moon. With the burst of great news, EOS is heading to capture the number 3 spot in the coinmarketcap after Bitcoin and Ethereum. Glad to be in the rocket.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nasdaq May Launch Bitcoin Trading in October 2018 on: April 29, 2018, 01:43:05 PM
Nasdaq involvement would too secure the use of every banking infrastructure to buy and sell directly from your home making it accessible to larger group of people and overall increasing the market cap of all coins.
827  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Abortion is a God Given Right of Females like the right to bear Arms on: April 27, 2018, 10:36:45 AM
It's funny and frustrating how these fake people define life and democracy.
A 6 weeks (1 and half month) fetus has a heartbeat. And you consider them a lifeless piece of cancerous meat?
Abortion is a killing and should be punished as such.
Though early pregnancies from rape should be considered for abortion, any other and late abortion should be criminalized.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange ask for KYC? on: April 27, 2018, 10:29:43 AM
Many shady and scam exchange would ask you for KYC. Even the legit one would ask for KYC if you are depositing and withdrawing large amounts for Anti Money Laundering Laws. But they won't be a hassle if you work below 10K$ a day.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam in crypto sphere! on: April 22, 2018, 03:00:14 AM
Where there is money there would be scam. Be very aware when you use your private keys. Don't access your wallet with your private key unless you want to transfer ETH or token. Metamask and desktop wallet are much secure platform than myehterwallet.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ian Balina's wallet has been hacked. Tokens for almost 2 million $ were stolen on: April 16, 2018, 10:22:25 AM
The best way is to encrypt your private keys before uploading it to an online platform. Its even better to divide it between two of them.
Though offline saving of private keys is the best but it's very difficult to use.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin best / worst beginning of 2018 on: April 09, 2018, 04:30:48 PM
Of the coins in reference, Ontology too have performed quite well and still has a lot of place to grow. BNB as it's nature will keep on growing as the supply decreases. Among the top 10 EOS has performed well and have climbed few steps up. I believe this coin would be an immediate competitor of Eth.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin business dilemma on: April 09, 2018, 04:26:09 PM
Yes, there should be clear profit sharing strategy when making a token sale. But most of the profit people gain is just by the speculation of coin between people in exchange fulled by different news about activities that largely are not the part of idea. ICO has become a kickstarter with user based speculation.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best bitcoin wallet in 2018 on: April 09, 2018, 04:19:18 PM
I'm using coinbase just because it's integrated to multiple sites and provide instant fee less transactions to them.
For online wallet, everyone should go with https://greenaddress.it/
Electrum is best in term of safety and simplicity for holding bitcoins.
But nowadays my largest bitcoin holdings are scattered around a dozen of exchanges.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 06, 2018, 02:19:48 AM
It depends on how the market and the dev team behaves. If you invest in something like centra, you'll have a loss. It's wiser to diversify you investment between mineable tokens, pre-icos and after listing buys.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency adaption on: April 06, 2018, 02:17:55 AM
Cryptocurrency solves a lot of problems we are facing in our economic sectors. Security and Money Laundering are the main obstacles in the way of cryptocurrencies. It would not be long when all the people in the world be using them.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking or Mining? on: April 06, 2018, 02:13:10 AM
Mining consumes a lot of electricity and requires dedicated hardware. While staking and masternode can easily be achieved on a self hosted server or a paid server online with an initial investment on the coin.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible to make alts move without BTC ? on: April 05, 2018, 04:30:14 AM
With current options for buying alts with fiat, ethereum and bitcoincash as base currency. Theoretically that won't be a problem. But still more than 40% of the total market capitalization is held by bitcoin and when this giant moves, it's rare for others not to follow it.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An altcoin expanding rapidly in china on: April 05, 2018, 12:39:19 AM
Sooner or later, block-chain technology would be the greatest invention of the first half of this century. The early years of adoption can be resistive but we need it for a better world.
839  Other / Meta / Re: New new rank requirements on: April 01, 2018, 05:43:21 AM
I was just surprised with such large update. Too many thing at once.
It's like the Chinese government taking over the forum with social credit system.
Though it would take some more study to get into a conclusion, but I believe any automation in calculating any of the stat would result in spam.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This Why Altcoins will DIE on: April 01, 2018, 05:36:04 AM
Yes, may they be altcoins or tokens they will only live if they are applicable for daily use.
Altcoins that are the platform for popular tokens won't die until the token lives.
Coins like Monero and Zcash that have special usability too would survive.
