Hello forumites,
I am interested in learning the rudiments of cryptocurrency trading and that led me here. But I discovered that here is just for airing opinions on coins and bounties ( permit me if I'm wrong) and most importantly I prefer visual materials to PDF.
Please suggest where I can get videos tutorial online and other useful sites. Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions.
There are lack of resources regarding this. But largely you can relate it with securities trading and learn about analyzing the market technically. There are much larger resource for securities trading and the only difference between the two market is crypto market is unregulated while securities are regulated.

Community is one of the factor. And yes the price fluctuation are greater with larger community. Community is also a self advertising group, larger the community more is the adaption and users. But again gaining a community is not that easy. Fake twitter followers don't count as community.

With the burst of great news, EOS is heading to capture the number 3 spot in the coinmarketcap after Bitcoin and Ethereum. Glad to be in the rocket.

It's funny and frustrating how these fake people define life and democracy. A 6 weeks (1 and half month) fetus has a heartbeat. And you consider them a lifeless piece of cancerous meat? Abortion is a killing and should be punished as such. Though early pregnancies from rape should be considered for abortion, any other and late abortion should be criminalized.

Many shady and scam exchange would ask you for KYC. Even the legit one would ask for KYC if you are depositing and withdrawing large amounts for Anti Money Laundering Laws. But they won't be a hassle if you work below 10K$ a day.

Where there is money there would be scam. Be very aware when you use your private keys. Don't access your wallet with your private key unless you want to transfer ETH or token. Metamask and desktop wallet are much secure platform than myehterwallet.

The best way is to encrypt your private keys before uploading it to an online platform. Its even better to divide it between two of them. Though offline saving of private keys is the best but it's very difficult to use.

Of the coins in reference, Ontology too have performed quite well and still has a lot of place to grow. BNB as it's nature will keep on growing as the supply decreases. Among the top 10 EOS has performed well and have climbed few steps up. I believe this coin would be an immediate competitor of Eth.

Yes, there should be clear profit sharing strategy when making a token sale. But most of the profit people gain is just by the speculation of coin between people in exchange fulled by different news about activities that largely are not the part of idea. ICO has become a kickstarter with user based speculation.

I'm using coinbase just because it's integrated to multiple sites and provide instant fee less transactions to them. For online wallet, everyone should go with https://greenaddress.it/Electrum is best in term of safety and simplicity for holding bitcoins. But nowadays my largest bitcoin holdings are scattered around a dozen of exchanges.

It depends on how the market and the dev team behaves. If you invest in something like centra, you'll have a loss. It's wiser to diversify you investment between mineable tokens, pre-icos and after listing buys.

Mining consumes a lot of electricity and requires dedicated hardware. While staking and masternode can easily be achieved on a self hosted server or a paid server online with an initial investment on the coin.

With current options for buying alts with fiat, ethereum and bitcoincash as base currency. Theoretically that won't be a problem. But still more than 40% of the total market capitalization is held by bitcoin and when this giant moves, it's rare for others not to follow it.

Sooner or later, block-chain technology would be the greatest invention of the first half of this century. The early years of adoption can be resistive but we need it for a better world.

I was just surprised with such large update. Too many thing at once. It's like the Chinese government taking over the forum with social credit system. Though it would take some more study to get into a conclusion, but I believe any automation in calculating any of the stat would result in spam.

Yes, may they be altcoins or tokens they will only live if they are applicable for daily use. Altcoins that are the platform for popular tokens won't die until the token lives. Coins like Monero and Zcash that have special usability too would survive.
