Even if every country banned ethereum it would never go down to 1 dollar. Only a complete crash of the internet will destroy crypto, and there are too many good applications that rely on the ethereum blockchain now. It might drop or experience slower growth as new competitors enter the DAPPS / Smart contracts market. NEO is already proving itself to be a worthy competitor and others like LISK are coming up soon.

Not such a bad thing, it gives others a chance to get into the game. At $20k investors are thinking they missed the boat, so by lowering prices more and more people will get in, so the next pump will be bigger! It is a test of belief, those who get in now while the prices are low will be smiling later on. It is the chance they have been waiting for so there is no excuse for not jumping on the bandwagon - it is waiting for you all!

Crypto is not legal tender in many countries, no big deal if it's not in India. They simply said they will stop illegal activities with bitcoin etc.. which is what they should have done a long time ago. However, trading is not illegal and will still continue to thrive in all countries including south korea, india, japan, and everywhere else. Could be a good thing to cut down on all the scams that are plaguing this space. Who wants to invest in bitconnect?!

It looks like a safe portfolio, however a lot of these coins has already pumped so the rise from now on is likely to be gradual. Good for long term holdings but not if you want 10x style pumps. Stellar Lumens is a good one, especially for those that got in early. They just signed up with a new payment company, but how much further it will rise is questionable as the market cap is high already. Litecoin might do well, but again - they already pumped last year

BitFlyer is Japans version of coinbase, and has the highest volume for trading bitcoin. It only has a few coins like coinbase but today it added LISK and the price jumped around 25% due to the bitflyer listing. I suggest you get some LISK fast due to the relauching event in 3 weeks, plus the impact of being added to the Japanese Coinbase. Who knows, maybe it will be added to the US version

If you're strictly looking at mobile gaming then of course mobilego is the coin to invest in. Huge ICO success and close to releasing an app store (should be in February 2018), also they have yet to list on a big exchange so the price is unusually low right now - even for a bear market. Another one to look at is SKARA which is part way through in ICO so you can join in and grab some cheap tokens before launch.

+1 for this coin. The reason this is a good investment is they are releasing details on the masternode setup soon i.e. next month. This will drive up demand for wagerr in order for techies to create a masternode server. Also, they burn profits from bets to ensure the value increases. Cheap at the moment, but won't be after the mainnet is running and the product is released. It is going to be the number 1 betting coin on the market.

Ripple has already pumped last year, it will take really big news to get back to the ATH. A better choice will be to dump ripple and pick up a cheaper coin that has not yet reached the moon but has lots of potential. Ripple is about speculation, banks will not use such a risky coin to send funds across just to save a few hours. Imagine if a bank sent $50,000 in ripple and after 2 hours it is only worth $30,000 which happens a lot in the crypto world!

Ethereum is an over-bloated blockchain which was broken by a bunch of kittens. It pumped last year due to the number of ICOs on a fast stable network, but now that has changed it will move up in value a lot slower now. NEO will run ICOs and has a lot of room for growth, they will capture a lot of the market from ethereum. Also LISK is preparing an entry into the same area, others will follow but I feel that NEO will push forward more this year. I think ETH will rise to no more than $3000

The problem with xspec is that it is too anonymous in that no-one has ever heard of it! The project has been around for a long time but has zero marketing. Deeponion has already surpassed xspec 6 months after launch due to their superior marketing strategies. I guess it's a simple case of what is worth more to an investor - a better product or better marketing campaign? If the coin has the same features as xspec and same marketing as deeponion this will go to the moon!

It's not the dumbest theory we've had around here. Usually around Christmas time all coins will drop as people cash in their bitcoin to fund gifts, parties, and celebrations. China doesn't celebrate xmas so their major expense will take place in February for Chinese New Year. If they cash in their bitcoins then there could be another dump, but hopefully regulations will stop them cashing in and force them to hodl

Suretly has a very low supply and has a policy of burning their profits so price will always increase. Good time to get in as their app product is going to be released soon. Another good buy is skincoin which was previously dismissed as a scam but they have an impressive roadmap to get into the huge market of gaming skins. Cryptopia is the best place to get SKIN, might get on bigger exchanges later on in the year

24 percent tax is nothing in the crypo world. When there is a bull run it can rise 24% in one day so they can just cash out then with no ill effects. The South Korean government just wants a piece of the pie without having to take any of the risk themselves. Smart move and I'm sure other countries governments will follow as well. Better invest in privacy coins and DEXs to trade under the radar, cash out somewhere else!

There is a lot of growth potential with this coin due to the low supply and low market cap and low price! It won't reach $500 by the summer, but $50 is a possibility when compared with other coins. Realistically though, I would say around $25 is the target to aim for. Cryptopia is a good exchange, has some unusual coins which may attract new investors. If it hits a major exchange then sky is the limit

This is a tricky one. I would say buying alts is a better investment because both are going to rise and if you pick the correct alt then it will rise faster than bitcoin. The trend of alts falling when bitcoin rises is under normal conditions, but now the market is in freefall so in this situation both bitcoin and alts will rise at the same time as more cash gets pumped into the cryptosphere. Bitcoin however, is never a bad investment at any time

I think this is good news, not the best of course but better than an outright ban. If they done a complete ban then bitcoin would drop over half it's value as other countries follow suit. Regulation will simply allow regular honest traders to keep going about their business, and even investment companies can carry on. Better grab some cheap crypto now before the south Koreans pump up the prices like they usually do.

The dump won't last forever, I think it will reverse next month and at the same time LISK is going to relaunch so there will be two reasons for LISK to pump. Another development to keep an eye on is mobilego which is opening a new store next month. Lots of opportunities while weak hands are letting go. Lots of newbies this time around, they've never seen a dump before so as usual they will be back when the prices are high again

I am sorry for the people that have weak hands and are going to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime! Low prices mean good time to jump in on those coins where the boat had already left. Anyone with some extra cash and experience in crypto trading is going to grab some coin tomorrow - all will be green again and the market will return. This could be just whales playing games - bankers are waiting to spend their bonuses so be prepared.

I haven't had any problems with cryptopia, in fact it's a good exchange which happens to have a lot of s+++coins but that doesn't mean it's a s+++ exchange. XSPEC has a lot of potential when you look at the technology and compare the market cap with monero and dash. If they improve their marketing strategy then this coin will go to the moon. This is proven by someone else cloning xspec and the price of that coin was 3 times higher!

You need to check the coin supply, ones with billions in circulation are not always worth the effort. Verge and ripple are an exception, dogecoin is an example. For worthwhile coins under a dollar investigate wagerr and mobilego. Wagerr is going to be the topdop in betting and will be releasing a working product soon. Mobilego are also releasing a store next month so big news for both coins - get some before they start to pump!
