You are very unlikely to get any response that is actually going to be helpful. If you want to invest in an ICO you are going to have to learn how to do your own due dilligence. Don't bother looking at the "ICO Rating" sites. It is a well known fact that they get paid by the ICO's to give them a high rating. Other people on here who recommend ICO's to you also have their own agenda which may not be compatible with yours.

I do the same, once everyday just to get a quick overview to what is happening in the market. For information during the day I rely more on the exchanges themselves if I have some active trades or on apps like Blockfolio or Delta if I am away from my computer but want to monitor things.

The number one thing I look for is the people behind the project. Nothing will have more influence on whether a project is a success or failure than the people behind the project. Unfortunately this is not always possible. If you are dealing with a privacy coin then it is quite common that the people behind the project prefer to remain anonymous. This can in some cases be people using the privacy coin as an excuse to cover their tracks because their goal is simply to run a scam. With new privacy coins you need to judge the project on the behaviour of the participants. Look for projects like DarkPayCoin where the participants are more concerned with development than in rushing towards a quick cash grab.

The first thing you need to decide is if you want to be a long term investor or a trader. They require completely different kinds of knowledge. If you are a trader you don't actually need to know anything about the coin itself, just how to read a chart. It is kind of ironic that the original cryptocurrency that is completely built on the idea of being a decentralised currency beyond the control of any government or authority, has its future value completely dependant on the decision of whether a government regulator will allow it be held in a centralised and regulated fund.

Bounty hunters are just a convenient excuse for very poorly managed ICO's. The Bounty is typicaly only 1% of the float. If you can't handle 1% of the coins being sold post ICO then you have done a very poor job of managing your project. From studying ICO's that have sold off it is apperant that the source of the selling is almost always Insiders as well as Private and Presale investors. Just look at tokens like IUNGO that ripped off everyone that worked on the bounty by reducing it to less than one tenth of one percent of the tokens sold but still lost 95% of its value because all the insiders sold their tokens while telling the ICO investors to HODL.

It is really important. If you look at all the really important coins like ETH or EOS they have a a vibrant community of people who are supporting the project by building things on it. If you want to know which coins will survive long term it is the ones with the strongest community. This is especially true if you are trying to identify those projects that are just starting out. Look for ones like DarkPayCoin that have really enthusiastic communities backing them.

Day Traders that are not skilled lose their shirts. Investing and trading are entirely different skills sets that use completely different information to make their investment decisions. There is also no reason that you can't do both simultaneously. Though in my experience algorithms will beat human traders in almost all instances.
