821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC - ICO, altcoins and McAfee on: June 22, 2018, 10:55:07 AM
Hello, I see a real problem that could harm a lot of altcoins or ICOs.
SEC said that Ethereum and Bitcoin are not securities but some altcoins might be.
McAfee said that he will no longer support ICOs due to SEC threats "and those doing ICOs can all look forward to arrest".

I am little bit afraid that a lot of coins violate the laws and may soon be worthless.
What is your opinion please?
This has been stated so many times and if you are from US and you can't participate in any ico because you just follow what has already stated by SEC. The world is not US.
In so many times SEC has stated that this based on their regulations. it will be different if you are seeing another countries just like south korean that has already tried to create a framework regulation to legalize ICO.
Good point.
Thailand is also different from US SEC, as they are to legalize 7 Crypto in their country. Here's a link in case you don't know https://news.bitcoin.com/thailand-crypto-regulations-legalizing-cryptocurrencies/
About McAfee not supporting ICO, there will always be another influential people that will support this. Anyway, I think having them will just give a litlle effect.
But I thought that he wanted to created his new ICO few days ago.
He is probably on drugs because who knows where is the truth.

You are looking at the wrong direction, SEC in an American regulator of stocks, but all ICOs haven't allowed American citizens to buy their tokens. If SEC admits any token as an asset, American cryptochange with make delisting for this token, and it will be a solution to the problem.
Thank you, this really really makes sense to me.
So guys, you are still positive with the ICO/altcoins future?

But SEC could harm altcoins right? If they arrest the team behind specific altcoin, or? Or SEC could harm only altcoins which are from the USA?

that does not sound very good. i hope that it will have bad consequences.

i think in the next few weeks we will see if anything will happen.
SEC regulations may take several months not several weeks.
Look at Ethereum - Ethereum ICO took place in the year 2014 and now SEC decided that it Ethereum is not a security.

825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not invest now , wait on: June 21, 2018, 12:20:59 PM
This is the golden rule i can say.

= wait till September mid and Enter to purchasing tokens

= now market correction is going on , so all prices going down and scam projects going to hell now

=Recommended to you Ziliqa and Quarkchain invest on those periods

=Do not invest ICO's too , even the best ico not perform very well now. example is sentinel protocol also not given the ICO prices even

=now one market circle finished , 2nd market circle comes on September on words( may be change)

=if you already invest , its better to keep in TUSD.

Do your own research too , i need to maximize the everyone's wealth.

Thanks
Well you are supporting ICOs with your signature but you are telling people that they shouldn´t invetsing into ICOs??

827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 19, 2018, 01:52:15 PM
This is an interesting twitter discussion - FinCEN agreement means XRP is *not* a security

https://twitter.com/codetsunami/status/1008163939408998400

really interesting discussion
xrp prices may be fall after these news.
What? This is a good news, or?
Why price should fall if Ripple is not considered to be a security..
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CASPER API it is first system decentralized cloud-based data storage for DAPPS on: June 19, 2018, 01:50:17 PM
I am promoting your ICO because it is really cool and can´t wait for the project launch.
I have question about bounty - how many tokens are reserved for bounty campaign (Sandra said 1% for bounties, but in the whitepaper you say something diffrent..) and where we can apply for KYC for bounty participants?
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins dropping like crazy on: June 17, 2018, 02:55:43 PM
Because scientists have discovered that crypto price has been manipulated last year. There was also the role of Tether.

830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Bitcoin go below 6K? on: June 17, 2018, 02:41:10 PM
Probably yes, because 6k USD is not good entry point for big whales.
Many investors are waiting for 2-3k USD. But who knows if we go down to 2k USD because HOLDers dont want to sell Bitcoins for this low price.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: June 17, 2018, 01:38:06 PM
The qualifications I look for on a new altcoin is I always check the project if it is worth it. Like checking if the team is active and the founders as well, and make sure to follow their social media accounts they have and the telegram group to know if the project is working too.
You can´t choose ICO/ altcoins based on this. I see many active altcoins on social media like Dogecoin - they are active but their coin is useless.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The End Of The Bounty. on: June 17, 2018, 01:33:18 PM
Most of the current bounty missions are bad, but I think the bounty mission will always exist because there are very few promotional methods available in the token market. These merchants need to rely on the bounty to complete the marketing!

I can say the following. Advertising is the engine of progress, so bounty companies were and will be. They are needed to promote ICO companies. Social media play a big role in everyday life of ordinary people, the main investors are people from social networks. On TV ICO and tokens are not advertised, it is quite expensive advertising. And word of mouth advertising spreads well.
I think the best way how to promote ICO is on the targeted website like ICOBench, Bitcointalk, Coinmarketcap and no on social medias.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What’s your prediction? on: June 17, 2018, 01:32:14 PM
That cryptocurrencies are unpredictable. Nobody knows what will happen.
Bitcoin could reach 50 000USD or 500USD and who cares? We need massive adoption.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin - A new era of payments on: June 17, 2018, 09:32:21 AM
Everybody is waiting for the official announcment here. We are all very excited.
MinexCoin can be used every day and that is very important! How many altcoins offer this?

Fintrux is in big loss. Currently -94% price of ICO. My 5000$ investment is now worth only 400$  Grin Grin
Good joke.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of my TOP successful ICOs on: June 13, 2018, 08:33:52 AM
You should read about  Nebula Network - it's decentralized storage cloud with emission mechanism tied to the supply. Thanks to solid backing in form of computational power and disc space it's rock stable and independent from BitCoin.
In this case, I trust in CasperAPI - it is also decentralized cloud storage with many other good features and also everyone can earn Casper-tokens by sharing HDD space Cool
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of my TOP successful ICOs on: June 13, 2018, 08:18:34 AM
Thank you guys for the discussion. A lot of great opinions!

Hello, what do you say about these coins I hold in my wallet? I think that they are one of the best.
THEKEY - very successful ICO, raised about 22mil$, very good rating on ICOBench, cooperation with the Chinese government
FINTRUX - very successful ICO, raised about 20mil$, very good rating on ICOBench, one of the partner is Microsoft - generating passive income - temporarily?
Uservice - successful ICO, raised about 13mil$, good rating on ICOBench, generating passive income - temporarily?
LH-Crypto - very successful ICO, raised about 10mil$, good rating on ICOBench, estabilished company, generating passive income - 20% yearly

Probably they have bright future, but now all of these coins are so cheap. What do you think, it is better to sell them immediately or HODL?
Do you know some good news, features about these coins?

I am also interested in investing into these ongoing ICOs:
Midex - generating passive income, ends today
Mira - ongoing, very interesting product, proof of stake

Please reply only if you know something about these coins.
Thank you.

I've also been part of LH, and now I've sold tokens. good project. do you still hold your LH token?

Yeah, I am hodling all of them and maybe I have to do hodl them all my life, because price is too low  Cry
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best exchange for beginner? on: June 13, 2018, 08:15:58 AM
Binance for sure, because it is the biggest one (so you can be sure that they will not try to cheat you) and they have low fees, also there are a lot of coins Wink.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2018, 08:07:01 AM
Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt. Nothing else!
We need to be strong, big whales want to buy Bitcoin for the lowest possible price.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good Signature Campaign on: June 13, 2018, 08:02:33 AM
There are 2 options. You can promote ICO signature like me, or estabilished platform/product like Chipmixer, Coinpayments and many others - these paying bounty hunters in BTC.
