821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trade without id verification? on: January 07, 2019, 07:18:15 PM
There are lots of reputable exchanges out there that does not require ID verification before trading. However, withdrawal limitation will be placed on accounts without ID verification, like a peg amount that can be withdrawn per day. Just know that ID verification shouldn't be your sole factor to consider before choosing your trading platform; security, user-friendly interface, prompt costumer service and so on should also be put into consideration. Check online and you will see your kind of exchange; kucoin, bittrex, etc.
822  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: January 06, 2019, 10:52:38 PM
As long as bitcoin high volatility hasn't been addressed; pumps and dumps and high rates of manipulation still at large, 95% of all predictions will still be untrue. Not because proper analysis wasn't done before the predictions were reached but because of other factors beyond the control of the predictors (experts alike). That is why it is very dangerous to make trading decisions solely on predictions.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and BTC bottom 2019 on: January 05, 2019, 07:09:23 PM
2018 was a great lesson and quite odd. All predictions, speculations and forecast were well tested and only few survived. Simple task am doing this year for crypto generally; just wanna enjoy the ride with no extravagance expectations or unrealistic price surge. Buy now if you want to. The price for both ETH and BTC will definitely surpass this current tag. However, things may still go lower.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to buy or i have to wait ? on: January 05, 2019, 06:57:08 PM
No one can say exactly. There are 3 catergories of people in the market right now; those waiting for the bullrun, the ones praying for further dip and the I don't care guys. Just follow your gut, one man for himself. I think this is the good time and if you are buying simply split your investment in case of further dip or just buy at any favourable time and take your profits as market shows improvement. However, DYOR.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: January 05, 2019, 06:40:43 PM
Looking at the core features of blockchain, we would realized that regulation is anti-blockchain. Blockchain should be decentralized; governing itself without any regulation from any entity. However, we are at a stage that for us to move forward spontaneously, we have to allow regulation for the reasons well-known to us all; market manipulation, ICO scams, money laundry, high volatility and so on. Regulation will be for the good of crypto.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: January 04, 2019, 09:47:59 PM
In everyday of life, challenges will always come and being in crypto is no exception from bad moments. 2018 was really challenging for me in crypto and my confidence was well tested, my faith in the tech was also put to test. But here I am, still trading, buying, selling, participating in bounties and of course still hodling. So much to say that I still believe in cryptocurrency. Beyond the current market situation lies ahead a booming future.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is that big factor that can get back all the coins ATH on: January 03, 2019, 07:26:00 AM
The market is dynamic and is being influenced by many factors. I think going back to ATH depends not only on a single factor. Different factors have to come into play. Just to add to the ones already stated, ICO market regulation will have a key effect on the overall price movement. Many has lost money to scam ICOs and market manipulation. Have market regulation will assure new investors of safety and re-assure old investors of security. And you know what happens will there is new money in the market _ there will be boom.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponed ICO after bounty campaign on: January 03, 2019, 06:59:31 AM
Postponing ICO till market recovers is not a bad idea. Even some ICOs that successfully reached softcap/hardcap with working product are still in fear of getting listed just because of the downward effect the current market might have on their listing price. The most important thing during the period of postponement is that there should be regular communication between the development team and the community and more of updates on the progress of the team. Marketing and partnership I think should also be intensified. Postponed ICO is not a bad idea. However, if you perceive dead fish in the project, just be ready to move on.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL for only the brave !? on: January 01, 2019, 09:07:32 PM
This was always my thought before this long bear market. This is a different time, new movements and I'm beginning to think different, giving the strategy view of HODLing a different thought. Yes, it seems to me that HODL is complete scam in this kind of market, it doesn't just work.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: January 01, 2019, 08:51:13 PM
If through my days in crypto I learnt nothing, then 2018 has taught me one thing, "expect the unexpected and be prepared for the worst." Nothing might change in this 2019, but for me things can't be worst than this. What is certain at this level of development is that crypto can't die. Bitcoin and co. are here to stay and shape the world for better.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It might not be easy, you just have to let go on: January 01, 2019, 08:13:02 PM
Patience is virtue in crypto, however, it seems to me that hodling is a scam in this kind of prolonged bear market. I was hoping it won't be this long; Learnt my lesson the hard way. Experience they say is the best teacher. Better off than when I started and much more equipped for the worst. 2019 should favour and be rewarding.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do for shit coins in our wallet? on: January 01, 2019, 07:57:45 PM
The only thing you can do to such coins is to trade them for other solid coins only if they are trading on any exchange. Else just leave them in your wallet hopefully dead bones might rise again. There is nothing much to do with them as long as they are shitcoins/scam coins.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Fate of ICOs. on: December 30, 2018, 08:55:21 PM
As you've stated, ICOs this year was a total mess. I think for ICOs to survive come 2019, a new approach is needed; ICO regulation. This will have a positive impact on the ICO market. Approaching institutions, organizations and big investors with convincing product will be a good way for ICOs to raise funds next year.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest some good token. on: December 29, 2018, 09:12:33 PM
Cryptospace is not a place you come and be fed with everything. Well, a lot of coins/tokens has been suggested for you to pick from, but greater task lies ahead for you which is for you to make your own extensive digging (research) of your chosen coins. Don't leave any stone unturned and don't go beyond top 50 coins on CMC.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2018, 08:54:42 PM
It is still possible to get wealthy through bitcoin. However, don't expect an overnight affair or a get rich quickly occurrence. There is always a process and the right path to follow. All that is needed is due diligence, adequate planning and execution, and a substantial investment. Cryptospace is wide enough to accommodate anybody and anybody can become anything (rich).
836  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Xiphos.Exchange a safe exchange with free listings for good projects. on: December 27, 2018, 04:11:25 PM
Never come across this kind of initiative from any exchange until now - an exchange offering
free listing to any project that shows us that they're solving an important problem using blockchains.
This will definitely give projects the platform to proof themselves on a global market scale and as well expose these projects to other potential investors. Keep up the good work, Xiphos
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Do You Expect From The Market in 2019? on: December 27, 2018, 11:15:04 AM
I don't really have any expectation for 2019. The one I had for this year came to zero. I think for 2019, I will just enjoy every moment as they come; the bullrun, SEC activities, death of projects, rise of new ones and probably a repeat of this year - correction. Major concern is for the year to be profitable.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun will always come , Newbies do your research well on: December 27, 2018, 10:56:33 AM
I still don't understand why people are so worried about bitcoin present condition, new cryptocurrency investors are the ones getting everything wrongly. After months of living in worries i desperately want to understand how crypto works ,while using coinmarket cap I came to understand that Bullrun and bear run will always come around ,from 2009 to 2017 graph clears all my doubts as many bullrun has been in existence since day 1, 2017 was the highest ,what will be next ? 20k ? 30k or double of that ? We all need to chill and relax ,this days will always find their way back in time .Do your research ,past histories have all your answers
The fear of the unknown (when) is what I think is the major reason investors, experts and even the newbies alike are worried. No one knows when the bull will start the running and everyone won't love to be left behind. Presently, when you think the bottom is reached or a strong support is built up or a potential breakout is on the reach, there is always a sudden twist which render all predictions, speculations futile. I think this calls for many to be worried
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the whales are inactive during Xmas holidays? on: December 27, 2018, 09:44:48 AM
After carefully studying the market conditions this morning I finally discovered there is a very small amount of money in circulation. The market lost approximately $18 billion in capitalization in the last 48 hours. There is no strong momentum in the market today, it seems all the whales took off for this special holiday season. What should we do now? Stay on the market and keep monitoring the market behaviors or take off too?

Not only whales are off for a while during this holiday, but other entities that make up the cryptospace may decided to take few moments off just to enjoy life outside crypto. Project Admins, projects team, group moderators and customer services may also respond slowly or not at all to issues during this holiday. Just to say they are taking a break as well. However, the crypto market is on 24/7, and when it seems there is little going on now, one should be watchful as major movement can spring up anytime.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you feel about market regulation? on: November 27, 2018, 09:48:33 PM
I have always been against regulation of cryptocurrency, but with the current state of crypto market; manipulation and scams, I think I have to against my stand and support regulation. If not for the whole cryptosphere, at least for ICOs and exchanges.
