826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc is slow!! Confimations problem on: August 20, 2019, 09:35:42 PM
I send mostly to exchanger in and out!
Out is always faster if in.

When They gona fix the Problem?

It's doubtful they will find a solution to the problem other than using second layer solutions like the lightning network and altcoins like litecoin and ethereum.

It would be quite damaging to change the block creation time for less than 10 minutes as a lot of elements of it would have to be changed such as a block reward fee given to miners that offers inflation to bitcoin... Also it means that the chain remains a reasonable size and isn't terabytes for those who want to support the network.

I normally send transactions at night so I can wake up and have them confirmed, or just find something else to do while waiting for it to confirm. With a high enough fee it will confirm within 10 minutes anyway so it's not too long to wait.

I Can't afford everytime to pay high enough fee.
But how Come that xrp eos... Are faster.
And Ethereum too...
How Come btc has so great value and hype?
But confirmations Still slow if u Don't pay higher fee!

Bitcoin can borrow Something from xrp  wich is speed
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc is slow!! Confimations problem on: August 20, 2019, 09:18:17 PM
Where are you sending these funds to. If it's to people, you could try to convince them to use the Lightning Network instead and then your transactions will confirm in a second once you send them.

Alternatively, litecoin has a new block every minute and it's chain is pretty small (as apposed to the ethereum chain which I think was about a terabyte in size a few months ago...

When most transactions are made via banks, you can expect a delay. With mine, if I send to someone else it takes 15 minutes for the transaction to go trhough. With bitcoin if you pay a high enough fee it will go through in 10 minutes (but you don't need to do that unless you're in a rush).

If you use electrum, when sending your funds from it, you'll have a bar on the send tab that allows you to drag it across between 1, 2, 5, 10 and 25 blocks which you can use depending on how fast you need the transaction to go. If you make it lower, it pulls the fees down for the rest of the users of bitcoin and yourself so it makes sense if you're not in too much of a rush.

That's weird. The current recommended fee is 1 sat/byte
I think coinb.in's estimate is currently broken, Bitcoin Core gives a much higher estimate.

I sent a 1 sat/byte transaction earlier and it's 9mb from the tip at the time of sending (9 blocks).

I send mostly to exchanger in and out!
Out is always faster if in.

830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc is slow!! Confimations problem on: August 20, 2019, 08:51:25 PM
Btc confirmations are slow!!
I pay for fee so I Want to Get it Done!!

Why?  I did 2 Transactions one with higher fee but Still Not confirmed i sent out from Block chain wallet!

Link the transactions so we can see the problem. (if there is one.)

Someone Better off Fix this Bitcoin thing!!
I have used Ethereum and its fast it never took longer then 1 hour.
Usually Ethereum is confirmed in 5-10min. Its Not so fast but its better then Nothing.
Ethereum isn't bitcoin.

As I pay for something im expecting to get Good service!

Huh

I Don't Know who is the crrator or run this blockchain but the confirmations are slow..
That's fairly obvious.

Im in cryptocurrency business speed is very important for me  i Can't accept any of my time is wasted!
Either increase your fees, or use altcoins?

Why They said about segwit... The Bitcoin transactions are Still Low what is the problem??
The problem is that A. segwit doesn't make blocks generate faster (Admittedly they do allow for more tx's in a block and thus increate tps but it can still take up to 10-20 minutes for a block to be generated.)
and B. your wallet (blockchain.info) isn't using segwit to give you "lower" fees.

Is anyone knows its Bitcoin problem or its likely blockchain wallet problem?

If so any other Good wallet I Can use?
It's not necessarily a blockchain problem, although switching your wallet would help "solving" the "issue". (You can use Segwit which in turn allows you to save money on fees, or spend the same amount as legacy for a higher priority to confirm = likely faster confirmations.)

Try Electrum. https://electrum.org/#download (verify hashes yourself.)

Wow...
Good knowledge, thnx!

What kind of school you got that kind of education?
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc is slow!! Confimations problem on: August 20, 2019, 08:40:32 PM
Its Now confirmed
But weird the first transfer took 10 hours to confirm.

I sent Second transfer to the same address but with higher fee I payed. So the second went in 1 hour... Still very slow

Why?  I did 2 Transactions one with higher fee but Still Not confirmed i sent out from Block chain wallet!

That's weird. The current recommended fee is 1 sat/byte so your transactions should be confirmed really fast. Are you sure that the Blockchain wallet has sent your transactions? Don't they show up as pending in the wallet? Can you see the id of these transactions? If you have them then we will be able to look them up on the block explorer and see what's the issue.

It was litecoin halving
But price still low!!

Why you are exited about btc halving??
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: August 15, 2019, 07:59:21 AM
Firstly, its limited quantity. Secondly, it is decentralized and anonymous. And in the third, the fact that this coin opened the doors to the world of cryptocurrencies for us. He will always remain dear and best. Another reason is because it is very difficult to mine.

Non of these factors not give value!
Fiat currency has Only the real value.
Buying stocks, gold or BTC you might just want to through your Money into fire.

You buy them... When market is crashing the goal is to make Money not to hold and becoming bag holder!

Both gold and btc are just with speculated value.
836  Economy / Services / Re: I Help You! on: August 15, 2019, 07:55:13 AM

837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: August 15, 2019, 06:45:20 AM
Btc and Gold has no real value!!

You take them out of exchangers you dissconnect them with exchanger system they will have Zero value.

Money has value 20dollar bill is 20 dollar bill.

Without Money the Gold and btc has no value any way.

Centralised... Makes no value!!
Gold and Bitcoin is pure speculation.

Bitcoin is Vehicle to move fiat currency but btc Can't be never currency.

To Say that BTC and GOLD is a asset its even nonsense the real asset is real estate and Land.

And Please stop talking this nonsense like de-centralised Banks will never allowe this to happend the kyc is everywhere now privacy???  What kind of privacy??  There is non

Privacy is Only for big Bitcoin traders through OTC
For average guy they watch if u are not tax invader.

So people stop the bs.
Get into Reality!!!
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: August 14, 2019, 09:56:57 PM
Yes we are ready!!

But it will not going the way we use to think!

The New Era is the Stablecoins what people Don't undestood is that the goal is not to end debt based fiat currency!!

The goal is to end just the paper Money.

Debt currency will existing for long and it will not going to nowhere!
839  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 14, 2019, 09:49:19 PM
Cryptocurrency is a asset.
How it can replace fiat?
Only the stable coins can replace the fiat currency.

This debt based currency is best way to keep economy up and running.

Bitcoin and Gold have Zero value!

Gold and Bitcoin are nothing without fiat currency.
Im sure the Fiat currency like we have Today the debt based currency will stay for long time...

The New Era Will be Stable Coins.
840  Economy / Economics / Re: How negative interest rates affect Bitcoin on: August 14, 2019, 08:09:18 PM
Anytime when you are afraid to and You do panic sell... Then think about If your asset is so risky Why someone always will buy it from you?

Markets are run by 2 factors.
Fear and Fomo!!

Bitcoin and stocks prices are driven by panic selling and Fomo.
Good example is Brexit many investors had fear and they sold their stocks panic selling.

Now If no Deal Brexit then the investors sold their assets for cheap Money.

Brexit is most likely not going to happend.
It was just the way to con small investors out of assets.

Now i predict that UK will cut rates too to make stocks go high and to buy up whole stock market with cheap Money.

Will the btc Price Goes up?
Yes If the Money is invested through investment platforms like a binance, polo,  coinbase.

Right Now the volumes are low it means capital is entering into crypto space all ready but its not recorded its off the records through OTC.

Remember one thing :

Bitcoin and even gold price are both manipulated the gold has no value so as no Bitcoin has no value either!

The Gold and Btc value comes Only what are the buy/sell orders on exchangers.

If i buy gold or btc from my neighbour with price of 5000 $ then nobody dont know that and it does not have any influence over the Global market prices. Its just like a OTC deal.

In the history the OTC schemes are used when some investors want to get something with better price Before the actual bull market Will star t
