Hi all,

Is there any known issue in regards to the deposit bonus at bc.game?
Might be a temporary issue on my account which I've put to support.. anyone else had this problem?

james
You’re not really specific on what might be the issue at your end. A little specification to what is, would bring about a more directional response to what might be the case and how to handle whatever the case is with the bonus system on your account.

By the way, there are several promotional bonuses that is on going on the site. Some might come with T&C as it’s customary with not just the site but, bonus systems on every other site with regards to access and usage.

The 100% deposit bonus which can play out in having to fund the exact amount you were given a bonus on is what I think I have seen and that would be some means to gain access and usage in bets. That’s hardly an issue but, simply the T&C at play.

823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Bitcoin on Economic/Society Growth on: October 03, 2023, 10:54:19 PM
  • Bitcoin transaction saves time and stress. It makes transaction fast and safe, most especially international transactions. Bank transaction has failed there customers several times maybe because of network or something else, another example: people collecting money from ATM machine can testify to this, sometimes you will need this money urgently at that particular time but getting to the bank seeing the queue and population not only that the ATM machine will disappoint you, I have been in this situation before where my card got swallowed by the ATM machine. There was a time my country was suffering from money scarcity due to the changing of old naira notes and to get access to your own money was a problem but I can testify people who got bitcoin sold there bitcoin and they lived there normal lives despite the economic situation at that time.

I feel it doesn’t fit in having to compare or place side by side the bitcoin innovation and the ATM machine. Coming to talk about queues, the machine having to trap your card and the possibility of a transaction declined or failure.
The ATM is a machine that dispenses, make transfers, pay bills and new models can even collect deposits.
Not like bitcoin which is a currency that functions on a blockchain network. They don’t come together! The other dispenses money (fiat) while the other is money in itself.

Again, bitcoin has come to cut through time and space with regards to its nature of transacting and doesn’t necessarily require a third party in making these debit/credit facility possible but, in the phase of acceptability, we most times still need to convert our precious Sats to fiat currencies before it could be accepted by merchants for exchange of products and services.

Hence, I can categorically tell you that, in the phase of fiat scarcity in Nigeria at the time, bitcoin users were very much affected as, you still have to convert these bitcoins to fiat to make it usable with merchants that accept bitcoins not readily available. Doing this, drags you down the lane of going through the slow and limit restricted transactions that was the case at that time.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this fascination with claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 03, 2023, 10:34:25 PM
Most in this list have already been outed as scammer... No?
Yep - only CSW hanging on to his delusions
CSW has been proven to be a scammer in several occasions, he's just too buried deep into his own webs that he can't find which way is up.
You could say that again.
And CSW remains the one person that stands out with an unwavering claim due to the many lawsuits he’s got to file in trying to assert his claims and a few takes him serious for the fear of not having to go to court.

I for one feel there has been only one major reason in being Satoshi Nakamoto and that would be just for the game that comes with having to be the pioneer of a whole new means to how we handle finance. To possibly immortalize oneself in the creation that would go through generations but, how shameful it would be even in death to know at the back of your decayed heart that, it was just a claim.

Well, it doesn’t matter as bitcoin functions based on the consensus of it’s users.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 03, 2023, 10:21:16 PM
Copenhagen's resistance to Bayern Munich was quite strong. Even Copenhagen's struggle for the ball was able to make things difficult for Bayern. On the other hand, they play quite well at attacking each other. Initially I thought that the match would end in a draw if it continued like that. However, in the 83rd minute, Mathys Thel made a surprise with his goal which put Bayern ahead until the end.

Manchester United have put themselves under a lot of pressure now by not winning Galatasaray.
Man United play Copenhagen away next and it is a must-win game if they're to keep their hopes of qualifying alive. With what Copenhagen played against Bayern Munich, I won't be surprised if Man United doesn't win that match.
With the courage and momentum Copenhagen has shown thus far, do you see Manchester United qualifying from this group? It was supposedly a group where they could ride on Galatasaray and Copenhagen but, both teams have shown more courage and defiant than we can say for Manchester United.
When they faced Bayern Munich, I felt it was because they were playing against a much more better side but then again, they’ve come to lose to Galatasaray even while playing from a home side. That’s just awe and it tells how in disarray the team is at the time. Worst still, they just have to win their next game as, all Copenhagen would be needing is another draw.

Manchester United just might not make it to the round of 16.

Well, there is never a time it's even recommended or advised that gamblers should leave funds in their gambling accounts on the casino, no matter how good and reputable the casino is,  it is important to always know that anything can happen which can lead to unexpected loss of funds..
With some reasons, you could find users doing this when good or seizable amounts are involved, it becomes a not do.
You can agree with me that the need of having to fund every single time you intend to take a bet or gamble can be exhausting and the time you need to wait on confirmation especially, in cases where your based currency for funding is bitcoin or some other established altcoin out there.

This makes leaving some amount that could see you through some bets a matter of necessity if you’re sure to gamble. Otherwise, you don’t have that need.
Needless to say, gambling sites are centralized and as such, they have full authority over your funds on there platform and so, leaving it there comes with some risk.

There is a spin to win promotion on BC.games right now, ideal for new users and you could easily gamble with it along with other unwavering promotions. You guys could try it out.

I have done a bit of research on YouTube but the information their is a bit confusing as it's more theoretical and I doubt the once I have seen is updated lately.

I really want to learn the basics in cryptocurrency and would need guidance from expert from this forum.
It’s good that you feel this way and have the zeal to up your knowledge on the cryptocurrency innovation and what goes on within its space. It’s been a little over a decade but, there have been a lot going on in the space and one can’t full grasp it all at a go but only follow up the happenings and acquire knowledge on it in bits.

One of the most important thing that would aid you in this journey of trying to know as far as understanding goes is having to know its terminologies.
When you get into any field, I think it’s the first thing that could aid your understanding. You need to learn the terms as it’s randomly and frequently used in the cryptospace so that, you’re not left hanging or without understating in your quest to know by virtue of a term.

Don’t try or think you can know it all in a day as, you would end up getting yourself confused the more but do the bits you can for a day and ensure you understand before skipping to the next.
828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this safe for my crypto wallet? on: October 01, 2023, 11:04:56 PM

I've the mobile version of metamask installed on my phone and I've never seen anything like this. Also, I've gone through some replies but your explanation makes a lot of sense. The op didn't download the app from playstore because if he does he wouldn't have gotten such a message prompt asking for access. My guess is, he used a phone browser such as chrome to download metamask from the official website, and when he was trying to install it, he got the message because the phone recognizes playstore as the only verified source for installing apps, any other sources like phone browsers needs to be granted access.
Playstore doesn’t guarantee an app is genuine, it only means an app is registered following due procedures but, there are a lot of mirror apps on playstore too though, there is a likeliness that, you could get suggestions on what is genuine based on the most downloads on an app of interest.
Also, apps that raise concerns are only later attended to as per deactivation from playstore.

I’ve been off metamask for a while now but, I don’t think it did ask for such permission for modification or any permission at all while I used it and besides, it’s supposed to be a wallet and not some all controlling app. Wallets don’t seek permissions for modifications, not even an upgrade.

@OP, you do have to be skeptical and it’s good your not just ‘Yes and Okay’ about all your presented with.
829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe Technical Analysis? on: October 01, 2023, 09:42:52 PM
When asked this question to many professors and investors, a common response is, "Candlesticks reflect the psychology of investors."

What are your thoughts on this matter?
History does repeat itself and this inferences is what we derive from the charts in technical analysis. It’s been overly planted in the kinds of traders and becomes the course to follow when discovered.
This can only be affected when we have those big investors come into the game and some news although, news hardly play out in the crypto market.

Technical analysis remains a very vital form of analysis to getting a good idea about the direction of the market, good enough there are tools to tell who’s dominant in the market and how to utilize it in trading.

It’s better to follow some form of analysis than no analysis at all and technical analysis brings you closer to accuracy.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Is academic pursues enough to get incomes? on: October 01, 2023, 09:24:28 PM
I really want know if getting more degrees can make life financially better because I come from a country where their are no job and I have seen people that the only thing they can do in life is to read books, getting more degrees attaining all these degrees yet no still go job for them with good pay. Do think people who read in a region with slim job opportunities are doing the right
If your ideas to being schooled and getting a degree revolves around working for people in offices or sites, then you might as well be having a wrong education. It’s just a matter of the few finding these jobs as, you rightly said, there are no jobs and in most instances, jobs when available aren’t announced but, linked by those already in the system to desired applicants.

While getting schooled and some education, be well aware that you could as well create jobs that would employ others.

One thing also that kills the system is the lack of specialization. Where you could find someone from a different field. Seeking jobs outside his area of specialization. It damages the system even more and makes invalid the learned skill.

Education doesn’t promise you everything but rather offers you the opportunity to create something.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: Another Coup in Africa: What is the economic effect? on: October 01, 2023, 09:17:12 PM
The president Ali Bongo Ondimba family history as the president has been since 56 years ago, but the majority of the country lives in poverty:
I look at those numbers and wonder just how democratic they’ve been in Gabon and wonder if any of the European country truly practice such democracy?
It seems like it’s an Africa arise session and this can be done only through the military, taking back their country from the hands and plots of neocolonialism that continues in the form of resources. Before now, it was about human resource but now, it’s all natural resources. Africa can’t keep been a raw material extract epicenter.

Africa needs to develop and be able to use these resources to better Africa and the condition of living in Africa. Just how do a people produce that which stabilizes other nations and them themselves lives in poverty and unbalanced societies. Where waders prefer ruling their people from a foreign country! It’s just absurd.

I just hope these military guys don’t go corrupt as the formal democrats. It’s there’s to decide and so, let Gabon decide.
832  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do in this situation? Invest or save? on: October 01, 2023, 09:06:20 PM
N/B
This is the typical situation a friend finds himself and we are just brainstorming in what best to do.
I’ll like to point out something I find valid in respect to the situation and that is,
1. This individual is employed somehow to keep earning.

Now, that’s reassuring that with or without the investment, the indigo has hot some means to finance his or her needs and wants and as well gets to save.

Okay, I don’t know what’s your definition of a long term or what sort of business this fund would be redirected towards but, if saving is the idea, then I wouldn’t advice that to be done in fiat. Nope! Your friend could at least buy bitcoin now and have his money save in an asset of value and in expectation of a bullrun.

On second thought, if taking risk in starting a small business of his or her own is high, he could as well invest in petroleum by providing liquidity for a branch that offers the services as, petrol has proven to be a much needed product that tends to move. There surely would be returns but, under good management as well.

Other options could be, importing scared items and having it sold in places of lack. Find market for that wouldn’t be difficult and the income would be accumulating.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Violence and anger could be a sign of gambling addiction in youths on: October 01, 2023, 08:56:33 PM
I knew this gentle soul growing up in my street, who just turned 24 years old and now he was into gambling without anyone knowing at home for the past 1 year, the only point that I hold unto from his mother is how he maltreated his junior brothers and sisters and he also have anger issues.

Is there any effective way to make sure youths stays where the are told to stay instead of looking for quick money? Gambling isn't the solution to poverty it will possibly drown you deep into more poverty.
I gambled in the past, still gamble but, have far more control over my gambling now than ever. In fact, I often gamble on the live games and establish a niche for my gambling. Like, that’s how much control I’ve got over the activity.
I never considered myself an addict but, I had a point where it was just another part of my weekly activity if I had funds for it and in most case, gambled because I wanted to win. The reality to the game made me cut these down but, I never had to maltreat anyone for satisfaction.

Gambling for a course of youths aggression? I think not. One of the drive for youths to seek easy money through gambling is because they’ve got no jobs. Give them a job and see some of them withdrawn from the activity.

Be it as it may, people have got a side they show to those that are close by and a side for those that observe at a distance. The two are never the same but, they are a part of the same person. It could be activated bu something but, it’s not caused by that thing. It’s always been there!

The Rashford-Bruno combination is the worst to have at this point because they are not only pricey but also useless; I just got go of Rashford for Son a few minutes ago.And that's something I could have done long ago. I won't be returning to any Manutd midfield anytime soon.
I agree with you on that, I don’t have Bruno but I sure do have Rashford and he has proven to be one of my worst choice in this season of the FPL. I would surely see him out either in the next game or perhaps have my WC revamp my team and off Rashford along with a few others.
The love on Son seems like a good one. His been up and about filling in for the absences of Kane and has so far been great at his job. You could find Spurs putting up good performances and Son seems to have his eyes on goal as it is.

Quote
Don't be concerned about your position; I went from 9th to 28th last GW since the point gap between the top and bottom is so close. Just keep pushing
The points gaps is definitely taking shape and soon, it’s going to be catch up. That’s not where I want to be this season, I hope to be setting the pace but yeah, it’s never that easy.

To say religion no be really our wahala for the nation, e go mean say you dey underestimate or no give much attention to the things way dey happen for we country. If you be Christian and you dey live for the North, you no go only feel insecure but, the freedom to dress as you please go be big wahala.
Small dispute way go happen, e don turn watin be say, some persons go use take another person life. That na issue and a big one.

You go con still recall say, come election, we dey always get this ideology way be say, the results from the election pools dey agree with often say, the north no really dey practice democracy or dey choice who them like but, dey peg there choice based on watin dey sold to them from when them attend mosque. That alone, make Christians envy their unity and nothing dey stop Christians from being United.

Another matter way dey be the one way be disunity amongst Christian churches. Way on church go see themselves to be above the other, dey criticize the other and eventually, paint other denominations to be just a little above occult groups.

Na just few way I don mention but these dey make us forget say inside everything, we be human and na the most important thing be that. Na watin suppose make us unit and think ways we fit all survive together.
We need to ignore these religion and ethnicity something and be human!

Many many people for social media don dey even say as INEC don destroy their credibility wit their own hands PVC, BVAS, IREV all don turn useless bcos INEC go still announce results in favor for who dem want as winner.

837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I smell fear... on: September 30, 2023, 10:38:00 PM

The "priceless" could also mean that it becomes worthless (price-is-less = worth-less). You just have to be careful with their words.

I don’t know but, I’m getting a different understanding of the whole article from both the post in OP and after referencing the link provided by Z-tight. When Robert Kiyosaki is referring to the priceless nature of Bitcoin as a commodity, I think it’s in the nature of it being having so much value that makes it a hard to sell option.

Take a look at this quote from that very article;
Quote
According to Kiyosaki, the Fed CBDC would result in the loss of privacy but also lead to the increase in value of gold, silver, Bitcoin, and cash, which he believes will become “priceless,” and suggests investing in these assets and saving them “now before it’s too late.”

His actually advising people to buy as it’s a market for the future and he aligns it with other existing commodities within the centralized systems that has good values on them.
Bitcoin as it is, it’s already a hard to sell with majority of its hodlers having prospects and takes it more for an asset than a currency. How much more when its price behinds unmatched.
Be futuristic and buy to hodl for a long term.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Has Bitcoin Changed My Life? on: September 30, 2023, 09:32:08 PM
I realized that Bitcoin is not only a digital currency, but it can create financial freedom for many more poor people like me. I decided to buy some more bitcoins and I will make my life better and more comfortable. I quit my teaching job and started working an online freelancer so that I can earn more. I bought myself a new laptop, a smartphone and a computer. I helped the poor with some expenses and loans.
It was a good read up to this point. I mean, I would say you’ve done just well for yourself but, having to quit your teaching job for online freelancer jobs that don’t offer much (I don’t say this in comparison of your teaching job against the freelancer but, on the whole), with you giving loans, that would mean withdrawing from your hodlings, don’t seem like the best lives for me.

There is one thing to teaching though, it doesn’t entirely rest in the hands of profit making but, in the ability to impact and build future generations. You’re trying to create copies of yourself that might teach your children tomorrow.
Even still, the teaching job can’t effectively have much defect on your online activities and awareness. You’re still going to create time to attend to that.
Surely you know what’s best for you but, I don’t so much like the idea of having to quit a job to be more engaged online.

It's a good thing that Estupinan was replaced at half-time Grin
How many negative points do you even get for conceding 6 goals?

Watkins with 3 goals and 2 assists, fantastic start for all of us that have him in our teams.
This is you just mocking me right now, lol…

It seems it’s going to be a bad week to lose points after all. After having a good week over the course of GW6. Undated of getting points from the two players I had from Brighton @Estupinan -2 @Mitoma +1, it came off with an overall -1. Taking from me what I’m even yet to add when they should have been adding.

On the other hand, Watkins seems to have awoken the fire in his belly that made me get him at the beginning of the season. It’s just disappointing really that, this performance is coming after I had him sold off for Isak.

And what the hell am I doing with Marcus Rashford! It’s becoming obvious that this guy is going to be a bad investment for this season on the FPL.
Are we seeing Raya to be doing just as well as Ramsdale and that could mean, not as a replacement but bring about less games as there would be more switches between the goalkeepers… Having Ramsdale could just be costly as it has been for me through some games now (0 points).
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 30, 2023, 09:52:25 AM
If you must gamble, gamble responsibly. That’s what the case should be and for this reason, there’s a designated age grade for gambling which is overly believed yo be the bracket for reason but, does this actually have an effect on reason? How could one really find out wha his or her actions about an activity would look like even before diving into the act itself? Apparently not possible but when you eventually do, it takes hold on you!

Them, it becomes a question of how determined you are what discipline you can instill on yourself and the efforts you can put in to uphold.

Everyone has a weakness for easy money and seek to exploit any identified means but, you ought yo realize that even gambling itself is a business and you don’t go into business to lose so, it’s not going to be that easy on the wins. Abscond from the idea of finding a fortune through gambling and let it be a lucky situation for you rather than trying to make it through gambling. It would set a lot of unworthy behavior in motion even before you realize it.
