821  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you avoid scammers? on: November 11, 2023, 06:47:56 PM
I am new to Bitcointalk and I have been around my local board since from my sign up yesterday, I wanted to asked this question over there but need a general knowledge from the community at large not only from my locals. Just as what I have used on my title I want to know the possible ways to avoid scammer and phishing sites because I have came to understand that for one to excel in this forum and in bitcoin investment / holding at large, one needs to be very mindful with the ways we click on sites, where we store our funds and the techniques scammers often use to scam beginners like us.

I think security should be my number one priority as a fresher or newbies, although with time I will gets acquainted with the relevant information across the forum, I know that here is a lovable and a dedicated community that focuses on full discussion about bitcoin and its related cryptocurrencies which I can't easily outline all but I know you people knows about them taking a picture from coimmarketcapitalization (CMC).

Please we can share and discuss responsibly without any forms of comments.
Scammers will always look for loopholes to gain access to your funds, so you have to prevent them from gaining access. Social media is the main breeding ground for scammers. They will always present deals that are attractive and difficult to resist. Don't be greedy to accept these deals because they can be baits to steal from you. Avoid clicking on any link you see on the internet because they might not be safe. Do your research on any project before investing because it is important to verify everything information we come across in the crypto space.

But my advice to newbies is to focus on only Bitcoin because it is the most reliable cryptocurrency. Consider keeping your coin in a trustworthy decentralized wallet preferably an air-gapped electrum wallet or a hardware wallet. Also, ensure that you download the Electrum wallet from the Electrum website to avoid falling victim to scammers.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 11, 2023, 06:17:16 PM
What do you think about this issue where people gamble too much in countries where the vast majority of the population isn't well off? Should governments step in and restrict casinos more perhaps?
It is a sad reality that people from economically disadvantaged countries are gambling too much. But the main reason is that they are using gambling as an alternative source of income because of the economic hardship. My country is also facing the same condition as Greece and people are gambling very high. But the truth is that people are also benefiting from gambling which is why they are still gaming.

A government that is going through financial problems will be seeking diverse means to get revenue. Therefore you would not expect the government to stop issuing licences to casinos because it is a good source of internally generated income. The government will not also want to limit people from gambling because they also need to raise funds from taxes. It is mostly rich nations like Australia that make such laws to limit gambling because they have many other sources of income to fund their budget.

However, the government needs to put viable laws in place that will regulate the operation of the gambling industry to avoid diverse abuse of the sector. These casinos should be mandated to engage in fair and true publicity and there should be diverse mechanisms put in place to checkmate gambling disorder. We all know that this government needs money in the form of license fees and taxes from casinos but there is also a need to protect the interest of gamblers in the country.

Shitty casino, I've been waiting for a withdrawal for over 12 hours. and they say it can take up to two business days.
deposit about $1000 withdrawal of money about $5000. played roulette and slot machines.
My polygon (matic) has already fallen in price during this long withdrawal time. Bullshit.
I don’t recommend it for large sums, I’ll keep you posted. how will it all end..
You don't have to conclude hastily about a service until you have followed and exhausted all the procedures to have your issues solved. Coming up with negative comments about the casino is improper because they have a reputation to protect. If you use the necessarily customer channels to present your request, I believe you will be well attended to. And if they have given you a timeline to look into the matter just be patient, it will definitely be handled. You are not the only gambler using the platform, maybe you are account has something usually that needs to be checked.

Relax Coins.game will not disappoint you if your claims are genuine and you have not infringed on the terms of service.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: November 11, 2023, 11:37:39 AM
In the first place why are you gambling, is it to have fun or make money, if you just want to make money then forget gambling, if you want to have fun, then don't tell yourself the harship that you are going through just to gamble, just play have fun forget all your worries, forget your boss, forget toxic people, just play and have fun and you will enjoy playing because you emerge yourself on the enjoyment of playing.
I quite agree with you that the reason you are gambling determines how you gamble. If you are into gambling for quick money you will always lose control of your gambling behavior. You will always be tempted to stake higher and chase losses if you see it as a source of income. Such reminders will not control gambling disorder because it is caused by an inner drive. If you gambling within your means and have a gambling budget, you don't really need such reminders.

Pasting reminders all over your room or on the screen of the computer will do little without a genuine desire to gamble responsibly. But beginners could adopt the pattern maybe it might be effective because you never know until you try.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting losses, Take a break and just focus on Bitcoin. on: November 11, 2023, 10:27:39 AM
Bitcoin trading is also very risky, although altcoins are more volatile and riskier. Just tell him to hold, that is the best for now. I have traded bitcoin and altcoins, they all have their own risks and they are all for experienced traders. I remember a time I was new to trading, I traded bitcoin with leverage and I lost so much.
Everybody will not be a long-term investor because they might aim at making short-term profits. Many people are not patient to wait for a long term to see their coins grow. Such people will choose to trade. However, engaging in trading without requisite knowledge will lead to unexpected losses.

And I suggest that if it starts again, it's best to just play Bitcoin and don't play with too many different types or play too many altcoins. I know that sometimes altcoins are able to provide greater profits than bitcoin when bitcoin experiences a 10 percent increase, but altcoins are also able to provide greater losses.
You can only suggest to your friend and let him make his decision. Some people can take the risk of investing in altcoins because of several reasons. Investing $150 in Bitcoin might not bring a large profit, so he might just want to gamble it with altcoins. You can advise him to consider using DCA to stack  bitcoin.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: November 10, 2023, 08:34:25 PM
Klopp doesn't really care about the result from the group stage as long as liverpool has been qualified for the next stage. It was surprising many people caused by liverpool was losing against a mediocre club and i was sure even after i aware if liverpool was not using the main squad. I must confess that while Liverpool's first team is incredibly strong, the outcome against Toulouse made me ponder over the poor performance of Liverpool's backup squad. Liverpool was not playing seriously against toulouse. It was disappointing many betters who have expected to get easy money from Liverpool.
People shall never truly bet on a club that has been securing a spot for the upcoming stage.

It is not true that Liverpool has already qualified for the Europa League Round of 16. A win against Toulouse would have given them the ticket to the next round since Union SG failed to beat LASK. But as it stands now, the Reds must have to win the match against LASK at the end of this month. The Liverpool team is suffering from injuries and Jurgen Klopp made nine changes from players that played a draw in their last game against Luton. The team was not coordinated which made them fail to win a team they won 5-1 in England.

Toulouse has just managed to win three games in all competitions. So almost everyone thought that Liverpool would win the game so most people would bet in favour of the club. This is the beauty of gambling, it is just unpredictable fun.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $50,000 betting goal by 2024. Share Your Thoughts With Me. on: November 10, 2023, 08:01:00 PM
I think OP is making gambling his full time source of income since he set that high target for the next year. $50,000 is huge here in my country you can buy house and lot, a car plus a business. Of course that is far from happening when it comes to me funding my gambling account just to chase that $50k target. I can't afford to lose more than a $100 to be honest. 😆
$50,000 is above what some top government officials earn annually in my country, so the sum is far above the minimum wage of most workers. It is not bad to have big goals but how you intend to achieve this goal is very important. How much are you budgeting for gambling for the year and what are the strategies you intend to use to achieve this feat?

Another factor to consider is that the result of gambling is unpredictable, so achieving a target is always difficult. We shouldn't see gambling as a full-time job just as my friend will always tell me that I shouldn't expect much from gaming. It will just be better to have a gambling budget but projected income shouldn't be included. This is because you can get below your expectations but in some cases, you might also win big.

Having an open mind to accept the outcomes of your gambling activities for the year will be better than having a betting goal.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Choice of Investors on: November 09, 2023, 04:47:26 AM
Cathie Wood, who appeared on the show 'Merryn Talks Money' to discuss current financial events, chose Bitcoin over gold for a decade. Her stance was that young people who represent the futures market prefers holding Bitcoin, and Bitcoin has recently outperformed Gold in terms of hedging.
Young people are tech-savvy that's why they are attracted to Bitcoin. They are also well aware of its benefits which outweigh fiat and some investments. Regarding Bitcoin outperforming gold I read a  research that indicated that the cryptocurrency indeed provided stronger short-term risk hedging in the G7 stock markets compared to gold during the COVID-19 and Russo-Ukrainian War periods. I hope the sudden love that institutional investors such as Cathie Wood are expressing towards bitcoin is genuine and will last for a long time.

  • During the March 2023 regional bank crisis, the value of Bitcoin increased from $18,900 to $30,000. This was a strong indication that Bitcoin is more than just a hedge against inflation; it is also a "Safe Haven."
  • "Transparent and Decentralized" is how Bitcoin describes itself and this has remain true over time.

It has also been observed that Bitcoin is also affected by other economic conditions such as inflation and interest rates, especially in the US. The COVID-19 pandemic and the energy crisis caused by Russia and Ukraine are all examples of the connection between Bitcoin and the global economy. For now, it can be viewed as a hedge against inflation in nations that are going through hyperinflation mostly in developing nations. However, it could also be a good inflation hedge if it is held for a long time.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $300 Million Crypto Scam in India. on: November 09, 2023, 03:39:35 AM
I don't think this topic belongs here since the event is not related to Bitcoin but involves a shitcoin called Korvio Coin. The developers of this coin connived with some government officials to scam the public. This is what happens to greedy or uninformed people who are enticed by quick money or blinded by ignorance. It is also a lesson for people to do their research and invest in only reputable coins like bitcoin. It is also good to know that the investigation into the crime is ongoing and some people connected to the scam have been arrested. I feel sorry for the victims who have lost close to $300 million to this scam.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 09, 2023, 03:20:44 AM
I am not at all surprised by the result of this match. I didn't expect Manchester United to win against Copenhagen the way they have played in the past matches. I expected the match to be a draw. But the Manchester United team could not even draw the match. Manchester United have many tactical mistakes. After scoring the third goal in the 69th minute, Manchester United should have played a completely defensive strategy. Keeping their defence strong. But they failed. They conceded two goals in the 83rd and 87th minutes and lost the match. Defeat in this match ended Manchester United's chances of qualifying for the knockout rounds.
The match would have been an easy win for Manchester United but the red card against Marcus Rashford changed the momentum. Professionally the English striker was trying to guide the ball but he mistakingly stepped on the foot and ankle area of Elias Jelert. I think referee Donatas Rumšas would have given a lenient punishment maybe a yellow card because a close look at the encounter shows that Rashford had no intention of fouling the player. Copenhagen took advantage of the one-man disadvantage to launch several attacks on the vulnerable United defence. Rasmus Hojlund's two goals were erased a few minutes after the red card and Manchester United began to struggle.

The second half was better for the Red Devils because they defended very well and got a goal that would have been defended time the end of the match. But the lapses in the defence began to manifest toward the end of the match. We saw that the defenders failed to coordinate themselves and it led to two goals almost when the match was coming to an end. Instead of ensuring that every Copenhagen striker on the box was marked, United defenders were crowded around a few players which gave the Danish side strikers freedom to get those last-minute goals. If a red card can change the fortunes of the match and make United struggle, it means that something is wrong with the team.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 08, 2023, 03:57:15 PM
Mbappe has been at PSG for a long time. Mbappe became the best rising star when he played his first World Cup and has been the talk of the football world ever since. Many raved about him saying he would rule football for a time. Earlier in his career many legendary players have commented like this but he has reached his peak at this stage of his career but only for lack of a good quality club he is not able to register himself in the list of the world's best. Perhaps he knows that PSG will never be able to develop his talent on the world stage, which is why there may be a big news about Mbappe's club change in the next transfer window. If Mbappe changes clubs next season, his next destination should be Real Madrid because only Real Madrid can make him the best footballer in the world.
Sports commentators and fans always believe that the reason why Mbappe has not reached his full potential is because of his club PSG. But we should also note that he might not be successful somewhere else. Who knows if he can adapt to the style of play of another league? Nevertheless, there is no harm in trial, maybe a new club in Spain or England could bring out the best in him. Clubs like Real Madrid or Manchester City would be a good path to his quest to be the world's best player. Real Madrid looks like a certain location for the Frenchman next season but we shouldn't write off unforeseen occurrences. The speculation that coach Carlo Ancelotti will be leaving next season can also affect Mbappe's transfer, who knows if the sticker might not be comfortable with the new coach.

I think improvements will happen. But to be honest I am not sure when and how. And it does not matter who they bring in or what they do, it is going to take a lot of time. Lyon is still at the bottom of the table. And that also with no signs of improving. They are still at the very bottom of the table. From the last match, the only positive that they probably could have taken away is that they were able to score, and they were also able to get one point from that match. I don't know when they will actually be able to win their first match of this season. But for some reason, I think we will have to wait a little longer.
Lyon has not won any game in ten matches. Fabio Grosso was appointed after the sack of Laurent Blanc to turn the club to winning ways but his efforts have now been able to change the depreciating performance of the club. Ten games have already been played and it is remaining twenty-four matches. The club still have the chance to at least remain in Ligue 1, if they can improve and get good results in their remaining games.
832  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Events that lead to the adoption of a spot Bitcoin ETF on: November 08, 2023, 03:26:38 PM
Etf news is all over the place yet there is no single bitcoin spot etf is approved by the sec.

In my opinion the adoption of bitcoin in the etf wrap is good to push even more adopter and people who curious about the crypto but it seems the sec won't approve it until the final deadline 😭

And other news is that the vanguard dont want join the bitcoin etf if the vanguard join i think there will be something in sec
Vanguard CEO Tim Buckley said that the asset-management firm will not join the spot bitcoin ETF just like other firms like BlackRock and Fidelity. I see it as the personal decision of the company and that's their business. For now, we are focusing on the outcome of the application of other asset managers that are interested in bitcoin.

All the large speculators who bought their bitcoins and are waiting for the approval of the spot ETF are already rubbing their hands with the expected profit. The most ideal time for this is the period before the halving and if a manipulator is present in this market, then the SEC will approve spot ETFs.
In other countries, these funds exist and honestly are not in great demand.
Next year will be the perfect time for the SEC to approve the spot bitcoin ETF since it will coincide with the halving. Although there is no valid information from the SEC but from speculation and predictions, the SEC has little or no reason to deny these applications. I am also one of the spectators who is patiently rubbing my hands waiting for my profits Cheesy.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some things you should always avoid while gambling ? on: November 08, 2023, 02:34:42 PM
Let us discuss in this thread the things one should completely avoid while gambling. Here are some suggestions according to me :

1) Do not gamble in work area : It is not ethical to do so. Your employer is paying you to work for him for certain hours. If you waste these hours for gambling, it is a bad habit.
Yeah, gambling while performing your work functions is against the work ethic. It doesn't only lead to loss of manhours but it could reduce productivity. It will lead to distraction or loss of concentration which can lead to a reduction in work performance. Lack of concentration could also lead to costly mistakes or even industrial accidents. But if it is not against the work rules, it can be acceptable to bet doing free time or break. It will not be out of place to place or check a bet during break especially if you are gambling responsibly.

Quote
2) Do not take loan to gamble: Some young guys are so irresponsible that they take loans to gamble. It is a very bad move and can even produce life threatening conditions in future when loan recover agents knock your door.
The number one rule in gambling is to gamble with what to have and can afford to lose. Gambling wins are not certain in spite of an accurate analysis or uncommon skills. Gambling is not a business that one can seek loans to establish or expand. If you don't want to be a chronic debtor gamble only with the money you have. Taking loans to gamble is a clear indicator of gambling addiction and such a person should seek professional or medical help.

Let me add that we shouldn't gamble because we are chasing losses. Gambling should also be avoided when one is sick or intoxicated by any substance. When one is busy or occupied with some important activities, gambling should be avoided because it could lead to costly mistakes.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? on: November 08, 2023, 01:09:30 PM
What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? What percent of people will agree to getting pension in bitcoin in your opinion  ? What will be the benefits and limitations of this occurrence in long term on people and economy ?
The issue shouldn't be receiving pensions in bitcoin but investing the funds in the sector for a long time. These pension funds can generate huge profits over a long period. Considering receiving bitcoin as pensions will depend solely on the number of people who are aware of the existence of Bitcoin. Many people in my location don't know about bitcoin so the percentage will be very low. However many people who are well informed about bitcoin will prefer to receive their pension in cryptocurrency because of high inflation and the constant decline in the value of our local currency. Our local currency has lost almost 50% of its value in five years, which means that receiving pensions in fiat is a financial waste.

It will have little effect on the national economy but individuals can benefit from this initiative because it could serve as a hedge against inflation and give them some profit over time. The benefit it could have on the economy is that it could attract more funds to the pension sector and a healthy pension sector with create more jobs and increase workers' salaries. Some limitations of this policy will be bitcoin price volatility and the inability of these pensioners to keep their coins safe.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 08, 2023, 12:36:29 PM
So far there are 2 players, namely Vinicius and Rodrygo, who have extended their contracts with Real Madrid and this time it is Camavinga's turn to get this special deal. Real Madrid certainly does not want the assets of their young players to be touched by other teams, therefore they have given them long-term contracts with release clauses of up to 1 billion euros each. On the other hand, as a talented talent that Real Madrid has had since the 2020 regeneration, they are now slowly getting their turn as starters.
There are three players that have signed a long-term contract with Madrid they include Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, and Eder Militao. Los Blancos are trying to secure their players from the preying eyes of the high-spending Saudi Arabia league. The departure of Karim Benzema has made Real Marid to device means of keeping their player. Vinicius Jr extended his contract to 2027 and Rodrygo and Militao's contract will expire in 2028, Eduardo Camavinga has penned down a contract that will last till 2029. But his buyout clause is £870million which is less than the £1billion placed on others. This means that any club that is willing to get these talented players will have to pay very high transfer fees.

Quote
Camavinga is a special player because he can play various positions from defensive midfielder, central midfielder, to left back, therefore it is impossible for Real Madrid not to give him the opportunity to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for longer. His performance has also been consistent since last season and until now he has always provided the best results for the team. Apart from the 3 players above, next is Fede Valverde whose contract extension will be announced by Real Madrid.
Every young player will like to remain in Real Madrid for a very long time. The club has some of the best club administrators and also has a sound financial base. Each player was also offered a lucrative salary increase that is very hard to resist. I also think these players have a good relationship with coach Carlo Ancelotti. It is hard to hear about any conflict in the dressing room because he is a good manager of players. Camavinga has also been a good support to the Real Madrid attack because of his strength and ability to penetrate the opponent's defence.
836  Other / Meta / Re: Request for a board of made-up stories on: November 07, 2023, 09:04:32 AM
Some of these stories can be simply identified as fake because they are not factual, sequential or meaningful. The original poster usually comes up with poorly written blatant lies concocted to earn merits. But I am glad that the community have started to identify that the target is to fish merit and many of these posts only get few or no merit. The number of these make-believe posts has reduced to some extent since these merit fishers are no longer getting merits.

Tagging these accounts might not be proper since there are no standard mechanisms to check the truthfulness or validity of these stories. We all know that it will reduce the number of these stories but it can also lead to wrong judgement. Some of these stories might be true because people can act in some strange manner or cannot express themselves in a readable manner. It will also discourage members from sharing their stories because they will be scared that it might lead to punishment.

For me the best solution should be to choose between ignoring the post, don't give merits, giving your comments or reporting the posts. A separate board is unnecessary because it will be filled with junk.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: November 07, 2023, 08:23:38 AM
Maybe Benzema really needs a longer adaptation like C.Ronaldo did last season. Well, even last season, when C.Ronaldo first came to Al-Nassr, he had a little difficulty scoring goals. Because actually there is a slight difference in playing patterns in European clubs and in Asian clubs, especially in the Arab league. But I estimate that in the second half of this season, Benzema will be able to show his best performance again like he did at Real Madrid. Because C.Ronaldo got better at the start of this season. But last season C.Ronaldo was not immediately able to adapt well.
Ronaldo scored his first goal in his third game with Al Nassr and it was a penalty. He scored his free-kick after nearly seven months and kept scoring only penalties until he got used to the Saudi Arabia league. The weather and style of play of the SPL is different from what Karim Benzema is used to in Europe so he needs time to get used to the League. The high temperature makes playing strength consuming and energy exusting. The former world's best player will improve if he is injury-free, given more playing time and maintain fitness.

Quote
Al-ittihad is still in a safe position in group c. Because so far Al-ittihad has only lost 1 time in 4 matches. And has got 3 wins. So losing yesterday's match doesn't seem like it will put Al-ittihad in a difficult position. But Al-ittihad's performance is a little unstable at the moment. But I hope they can fix this soon. Because competition in the SPL is actually very tight at the moment. And Al-ittihad could be in a pretty bad position if they can't improve their performance as soon as possible.
We can conclude that Al-Ittihad is not doing badly when we are discussing the club's performance in in AFC Champions League. The club is above Sepahan and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya with two points in Group C having won three of their four games. But we cannot speak the same in their SPL performance, they are still struggling in the 6th position which is unacceptable for the defending champions. It is not a surprise to see Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya beat the Saudi side because they are the current leaders in the Iraqi Premier League.
838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Meta's no ads subscription and gambling disorder. on: November 07, 2023, 07:28:55 AM
Before now it was impossible to avoid advertisment on Facebook and Instagram. This has made it impossible for gamblers to avoid advert even when they have used control the ads options. Now Meta is giving users in the EU, EEA and Switzerland the choice to pay a monthly subscription to use Facebook and Instagram  without any ads. This special account can come for as high as €9.99/month on the web or €12.99/month on iOS and Android. Users can get this account this month and enjoy the package

Although the subscription fees is high to some low income nations but I think it can held to reduce gambling disorderly behaviour. Some gamers are triggered to gamble uncontrollable because of advertisment so this package will help them gamble responsibly. According to a study carried out by Sheffield and Glasgow universities the more people are exposed to betting advertisment the more likely they are to gamble and the greater the risk of them developing a disorder. This package is also helpful because it will make gamblers avoid adverts from many scam casinos that are using these social media as platforms which will also reduce gambling disorder.

What are your thoughts?
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investment, Beyond "Invest What You Can Afford to Lose" on: November 07, 2023, 05:08:38 AM
Investing in Bitcoin means being part of one of the world's most revolutionary technologies. It's not just an investment in today but potentially one of the most valuable assets in the future. So, instead of wasting time and money on 'shitcoins', consider starting now it's not too late. The focus should be on investing what you are willing to HODL for the long run, rather than what you can afford to lose.
Your thoughts are insightful and I believe in some of them. The slogan Invest what you can afford to lose shouldn't be the main advice for Bitcoin because it has over the years shown that it is a dependable and consistent long-term investment. To me, the right phrase should be "invest what you can live without" or what you can afford to bear" . We have seen some people out of greed or high expectations take loans or sell some valuables because they want to invest in bitcoin. Others go to the extent of investing their entire income without considering basic needs or making emergency provisions.

Indeed, bitcoin is now a major player in the global financial market, but it doesn't erase the fact that it is a new invention that still needs time to evolve into a stronger and widely accepted currency and investment. So we still need to invest with caution. Don't invest an amount that can put you into a financial mess if there are any challenges.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 07, 2023, 04:15:55 AM
I knew that Spurs unbeaten run will get broke soon and so it did with Chelsea defeating Spurs 4-1 yesterday. I however expected Spurs to face defeat while facing some big sides like City but Chelsea were really exceptional yesterday. Spurs started really well yesterday but I feel that the red cards for Spurs were the turning point. It's very tough for a team to play with 2 less man against a decent club. Spurs still kinda held the blues for a while but gave it in the end. Jackson had a good game scoring hat-trick for Chelsea but situation won't be easy in next matches like it did in this match so Chelsea still has to do a lot in order to climb up the table.

Some Chelsea fans in my area were celebrating and I was just looking at them and smiling. It is correct that they won the game and got the maximum three points but must the club wait until a team is two men down before they win a match? Chelsea's performance yesterday was disappointing even with the negative consequences of injury and two red cards Tottenham was still dangerous in the attack and had some chances to come back to the game. It took Chelsea twenty minutes after the second red card to score a second goal. This means Tottenham would have gotten a lift if they scored within the twenty minutes. From what I saw, Chelsea is still struggling to perform at its best.

Nicolas Jackson has been criticised for his poor performance, he was even confronted by some fans who were dissatisfied with his inability to convert goal-scoring chances. But a hat trick is a motivation that he can do better in the future. I celebrate his goals and hope this will lead to a fruitful career at Chelsea.

Angelos Postecoglou is a world-class coach. I expected him to take a defensive approach after he lost two men because of the red cards but the team kept attacking. The attacking strategy was working perfectly until the pressure became too much which led to the last three goals. They have lost the top spot to Manchester City, but I don't think City fans should celebrate much because, with the quality of the Tottenham squad, City might not stay on top for a long time.
