A Bitcoin ASIC is be able to run a different coin's SHA-256d.
The SHA-256d hash is obtained by applying the SHA-256 hash twice, i.e. by first applying SHA-256 to the data and then again to the resulting hash.
Thank you very much for this answer Have a good night

Hi everyone.
I am looking for a simple answer.
Sha256 and Sha256d, is it the same and can be mined with any BTC ASIC? Or is it very different and not able to be run on the same hardware?
Sorry for the stupid question.

Look at my trust ratings page. I had one today who thought he could blackmail me. Reported it to the admins, and I am waiting on their response, if I get any. Watch out people

I'm located in Romania. I have one S3+ + PSU and one S3 + PSU. 130 euro both packages (one miner + one psu). The big problem is the shipping cost.
PM sent. Still looking for other offers. Please post here or PM me.

After I turn on mining, then the console becomes unresponsive.
If I put in a other command, I get no errors, but nothing happens.

Hi, everyone. I am playing around with some old mining gear, but I can't get BFGMiner to find my little block erupter. It doesn't find the miner at all and I can't find any reasons why this is an issue. I have installed all drivers and so on. My config: bfgminer -o http://localhost -u myname -p mypassword --disable-gpu -S all Anyone got some ideas? Thanks First does the pc see it? Second did you ever load zadig drivers? If you did they must be removed. Try bfgminer thread as Lastly this is alt altcoins are you mining btc with them! 1. PC does see it and everything. 2. Must I load these every time I plug the miners into the PC? 3. I want to mine altcoins with these tiny miners, not BTC
