821  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 15, 2024, 03:20:14 PM
Children should never be imposed on investments until they are mature enough to handle the stress of gain and loss that happens in every investment one has made. Look at the age where they are more capable of building the qualities in them at that age they should never be exposed to pressure and mature talks because their mind will stop growing and they'll end up in a catastrophic condition.

There is always a time for everything and when the time will arrive they will surely learn about the investments don't just destroy their growing age just for the sake of being over smart.

Well said, mate. It's true that we should teach our children about finance, investing... but everything needs to be educated at the right age. If we teach children things that are not appropriate for their age, it will not help them progress and may even cause them to fall into a catastrophic crisis.

I see the majority of comments support the argument that children should have early access to wealth and investment. But I want to know if these people have children? or have never raised children and are saying what they think is right but have never experienced this.

It seems like they feel like they can't become rich because they don't have the opportunity to access finance or invest early. I feel like they are trying to blame their parents, LOL.

-snip-
Strictly speaking, we are just in a pre-bullish phase because almost only bitcoin is bullish and the market as a whole hasn't had too many spikes. But I agree with you, during bull season news is almost unimportant, especially FUD, almost no one cares so it doesn't affect the market too much. The FUD launched in a bull market is not intended to drag the market down, its main purpose is to scare the weak hand and dump the price. Therefore, weak hands will often sell and regret it immediately because the market will recover very quickly.
I don't know how you can describe that we are currently pre-bullish, while we have already hit a new ATH which is almost touching $74k. We have basically entered the bullish season even before the halving, but people certainly expect greater bullishness after the halving occurs.

Everyone hopes that the halving will make the price of bitcoin hit its highest price of $100k or higher, but I think we have to be quite realistic that to reach that price the market also needs a large flow of funds. Retail traders will likely have an influence on market volatility, so we wait to see what happens next after the halving.

For me, I evaluate the entire market, not just bitcoin. Just like in previous price increase seasons, we always have projects that bring profits of thousands or millions of percent. And there will be a major trend of attracting newbies to the market. During the 2021 bull season, we took P2E, NFT trends as the main trends, but so far, I have not seen any trends emerge that create attention. Newbies to the market are not yet in sufficient numbers to create crazy price increases, which is why I think we are still in the pre-bullish phase.

As for bitcoin, the fact that bitcoin reached a new ATH is due to the impact of ETFs, but if you look at altcoins, there have not been too many fluctuations.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 15, 2024, 09:23:06 AM
Competition in the relegation zone is quite tight this season because there are seven teams whose points are not much different, namely Udinese, Verona, Cagliari, Lecce, Empoli, Frosinone, Sassoulo.
The team that has been confirmed to be relegated is Salernitana because they have the fewest points and it is impossible to get out of the relegation zone with the remaining number of matches because they have to win all the remaining matches.

The seven teams that are competing to survive from relegation zone will face quite difficult matches this week except for Lecce who will face the bottom team Salernitana and Lecce will have the opportunity to move up the rankings if their competitors fail to get three points, but Salernitana still has to be watched out for because they have a chance to get 1 point and that will be a loss for Lecce.

It is very difficult to predict which team will fall into the relegation zone this season. A number of teams have high chances of going into the relegation zone.

Starting from Udinese, who are 13th in the points table, every team after them has the possibility of falling into the relegation zone. Teams will go to the relegation zone if they fail to perform well.

Frosinone in the relegation zone are just 3 points behind Udinse in 13th place in the table. If Udinese lose the next match and Forsinone win the next match then we will see a big change in the points table. Each team will play about 10 more matches. So it is not possible to say now which three teams will be in the relegation zone.

I think this should speak volumes about the couch of Manchester United. He was definitely a fraud. And at this point, I believe the Manchester United owners also know that very well. It's just that they want money and the ideology of the owners and Manchester United seems to be similar. And also for some reason they really like him.

Otherwise, I do not say any reason why he should still be the coach of Manchester United. You can have problems with one player. That is acceptable. But when you have problems with half of the squad, it is definitely not a good look, right?
The truth about Jadon Sancho's fall out with Manchester United manager is that the issue was caused by the player's actions and inactions which the manager didn't find accommodating and for a manager that's very disciplined like Erik ten Hag, he decided to make sure he addresses the issue the way he was supposed to address it which eventually resulted to the player being removed from the Manchester United first team players. Now that Jadon Sancho have gone back to Borussia Dortmund on loan and seem to have found his form again, I don't expect him to return to Manchester United when Erik ten Hag is still the manager because he's still not going to get playing time under the Dutch manager.

Well at the moment it seems like Ten Hag is more interested in bringing in players that he personally likes and he does not care about the performance that the player he brings in. At least that's what has happened so far. he has single-handedly destroyed a good Manchester United squad and made it a laughing stock.

Anyway, I also agree that Sancho is not coming back to Manchester United. he is going to join Dortmund for sure. I do not have doubts about that. and even if he is willing to come back to Manchester United it is not going to happen now. Sancho In my opinion is a Dortmund player now.

We've got very important lesson from this match said that if the main problem of manchester united ten hag and it's not its players. I must say if ronaldo has become the victim from ten hag's arrogance. Sancho knew so well how ten hag was training him in manchester united and so, his words can be trusted.
Ten hag is the main causes by so many good players lost their prime time at the bad coach like him. It can't be tolerated and manchester united still defends him as a coach. What a shame for manchester united caused by the clubs till tried to keep arrogance coach to handle manchester united.

Sir him has been making the right plan to replace him with a potential coach that can also bring the better result from this moment. you're totally right about the main problem needs to be sorted out and it's ten hag. It seems like that youngstar got scared by him.
It means that ten hag totally failed in building a proper environment for the players. Im still wondering how long ten hag will stay in manchester united. MU totally needs a new coach to handle the club and a few years spent by ten hag and he got nothing other than carabao cup only.

I do support sir jim to replace him with a better coach. The club needs to contract the good coach. Ten hag is not suitable anymore to handle manchester united.

Well only if the owners of Manchester United understood that. Actually, I think the owners do understand that. but the point is there is only one, "money" and that's why they are still not opposed to him being the coach of Manchester United. If the owners were actually interested in winning trophies, they would have brought in a better coach a long time ago. right now the situation is very interesting because now the good coaches are also not interested in managing Manchester United.
825  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news= up in price while bad news = down in price. on: March 14, 2024, 03:48:21 PM
We are in a bull run already, so it doesn't matter what will be the news in my opinion. It will be a massive bull run and everyone is not going to read those negative news and react to it the way we thought investors would.

So still there's a lot of factors that will push or pull the price, not just any news, but the sentiments or the greed of the investors. And there is a famous saying, if there is blood on the street, then it's time to buy. So it's more on how you will take advantage of the news in my opinion.

Strictly speaking, we are just in a pre-bullish phase because almost only bitcoin is bullish and the market as a whole hasn't had too many spikes. But I agree with you, during bull season news is almost unimportant, especially FUD, almost no one cares so it doesn't affect the market too much. 826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks 2021 ATH and hits $71k! on: March 14, 2024, 01:36:19 PM
People are getting good vibes these days. For sure, a lot of people want to get a hold of some satoshis because of the current market trend. And I am pretty sure, a lot will say to themselves that if it is too late to jump on this market.
Do remember, the capability to invest on this market depends on your financials.

It is obvious that whenever goes on the upside all altcoins follow the same pattern and the cryptocurrency market goes green. Everyone who has Bitcoin will be happy as Bitcoin before the halving is already in green and breaking its own ATH. The new ATH is now $73777, more than anyone expected. I guess after halving which will happen in a few days this figure will be different. A lot of credit goes to ETFs as they drive Bitcoin's bull run and current pump. I do not see a slow down in the future as the demand for Bitcoin will increase while the supply will decrease. That is why anyone aware of Bitcoin wants to accumulate more in their ways to become financially independent.

The supply of bitcoin circulating in the market is decreasing, but not because of the halving event but because ETFs are buying bitcoin in large quantities every day. There are even some reports that they are buying bitcoins in larger amounts than are mined each day. The majority of Bitcoin is in the hands of large funds, so I don't think this is a good sign for bitcoin price growth in the long term.

Bitcoin prices have increased in recent days due to the approval of ETFs and the huge demand for bitcoin from ETFs, not the impact of the halving. At first glance, this looks good for bitcoin as demand for it increases, but funds are trying to buy all the bitcoin which is no longer a good sign. Everyone is excited about bitcoin breaking its ATH but I find it unusual and somewhat worried about.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blackrock control BTC? on: March 14, 2024, 01:07:47 PM
Black Rock does not and will not control BTC if you implied about control on Bitcoin network.

They can have big shares in Bitcoin circulating supply but control the network, they won't have that power.

Black Rock started to show something big in the last year by investing in 4 of 5 biggest Bitcoin mining companies.

BlackRock is a major shareholder in 4 of the 5 largest Bitcoin miners. And they also spent their resources for Bitcoin Spot ETF application against SEC. Finally they succeeded and they are buying a lot of bitcoin last 40 days. Already surpassed MicroStrategy as a biggest public company holds Bitcoin.

https://bitcointreasuries.net/

Exactly.
They hold more Bitcoin currently and have the biggest share, I think they can influence bitcoin price but not necessarily the bitcoin network. They only are investing rapidly into the market and thus expanding the bitcoin ecosystem but the bitcoin network is entirely out of the control of anyone or organisation.
Blackrock aim is for profit making not taking over a network that is decentralized.

But my question is why do they need to control the bitcoin network ? They are an investment fund and their main goal is profit so they will manipulate the price of bitcoin and that is what they want . I think they don't care about the bitcoin network or the outstanding features of bitcoin like decentralization or privacy...what they want is just the price of bitcoin and how they can make maximum profit from it.
We always talk about the bitcoin revolution, the decentralization of bitcoin, but what we care about most is the price of bitcoin, we are just like them but not too many people dare to admit this.

Well, for obvious reasons. To control people's money. Why do you think the governments are against us using the exchange to save our money? and why do you think Binance is always their target?

But is true that what we have always been after is the manipulation of price but these big men "most,"  are too greedy. They might think they have won, but is good to know that other good exchanges like the one I mentioned are in existence so I don't think they will have much power after all

But Blackrock is not a government, they are just investors like us . And what investors need is profit , so blackrock just being able to manipulate bitcoin price is enough for them , I don't think they want to control the bitcoin network. and if you look closely, why are they trying to kill Binance but they are trying to promote Coinbase and want Coinbase to grow globally ?

People with a lot of money will always find ways to manipulate or do anything that benefits them, if we were them, we would be like them. So I wouldn't call them greedy people because we are no different from them . Who doesn't want to have a lot of money, who doesn't want to own a lot of bitcoin ??

Otherwise, I do not say any reason why he should still be the coach of Manchester United. You can have problems with one player. That is acceptable. But when you have problems with half of the squad, it is definitely not a good look, right?
Ten Hag want to change Manchester United become Ajax, it's why he mostly sign players from Ajax and Netherlands's players. This is why there are a lot conflicts between the old players and Ten Hag because they didn't want to gets replaced.

It's just not about getting replaced. he prioritizes The new players more than the old ones and it does not matter how good the older players are. it seems like he always has a liking about the players that he gets in the transfer window. And there is obviously a big favoritism going on in Manchester United.  like a lot of people has said, if the coach has problem with one player, maybe the player is the problem.  but if the coach has problems with all of them, the problem is probably the coach himself.

Let's see some of his signings shall we?

Quote
Tyrell Malacia, £15.7m
Lisandro Martínez, £56.7m
Casemiro, £52m
Antony, £85.6m
Mason Mount, £55m
André Onana, £44.1m
Rasmus Højlund, £72m
Source: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/nov/02/erik-ten-hag-manchester-united-signings-how-they-rate

And the biggest signing done by him, Antony, is absolutely useless. And we all know how Man City has performed recently.

There is only 1 match remaining this week, namely the Lazio vs Udinese match. And I think we can bet comfortably on this fight. Because we already know which team we should favorite without having to think long. Because even in head to head we can see that Lazio has never lost in the last 5 meetings against Udinese. Udinese has only been able to hold Lazio to a draw a few times. And the rest is always a win for Lazio. And this season Udinese has been very inconsistent. So I think this will be an easy win for Lazio. Moreover, today's match was held at Lazio headquarters. Then the home team will undoubtedly be the favourite.
It was a serious fight in the home of Lazio but they couldn't use home advantage to defeat Udinese, because they where very prepared to make the match difficult for Lazio and they did it by defeated Lazio 1-2 in the favour of Udinese. Many people predicted for the favour of Lazio based on their position and their last match performance, but it was a surprised thing in the second half seen Udinese changed the match to scored the first goal at 47 minutes and still added another goal at 51 minutes to caused celebration in the stadium. Lazio coach and fans where not happy with what Udinese did to Lazio in their home to took the three points from the match, despite Udinese player received red card in the second half but no single chance for Lazio to equalize the goals.

Nice score Lazio 1-2 Udinese.

I actually thought that Lazio should have done much better with all the possession that they had. They had 70% of the possession. And they were literally unable to score even a single goal. The one goal that they have in their name is also the own goal scored by the opponent.

Pérez pulled his shirt from behind

I also thought that the red card that Nehuén Pérez picked up towards the end of the game was absolutely unnecessary. Pérez could have left Zaccagni alone cause there was not enough time anyway for Lazio to do anything at that point.

But this is definitely going to be a great three points for Udinese. Surprisingly with only four wins in this season, they are in the 13th position. Teams below them have far more wins compared to them.

Today's match is very important for both the teams. If Multan Sultan wins today's match they have a chance to grab the top spot in the table. If Quetta Gladiators win on the other day, the team can occupy the second place in the table.

In the last two matches we have not seen good performance from Multan Sultans players. The team lost both matches. However, despite the strong batting order of Quetta Gladiators, the performance of the batsmen of this team is very erratic.

Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to field. At the end of the first over, Multan Sultans collected 10 runs without losing any wicket. Looks like we will see high scores in today's match.

833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have known Bitcoin and other currencies since 2014 on: March 11, 2024, 08:33:58 AM
I have known Bitcoin and other currencies since 2014, but I did not move a finger. I did not benefit from anything. I mean, I did not invest anything now. I am serious. I liked this forum a lot. A long time ago, I decided to start investing, even if it was a small amount, in some other currencies. Perhaps it would go up significantly and make profits. Perhaps I would. It is late, but the opportunity is always there. I know that many people suffer from what I suffer from. Many people now talk about Bitcoin, but I preceded them in knowing it by ten years. I want your advice for me. I have high hopes for digital currencies. What do you think?
You have known about Bitcoin since 10 years ago but did not invest in it, it was your big failure. If you had invested in Bitcoin for a long time then you must now understand how you would have profited.

I bet you, if you were OP, someone who knew bitcoin 10 years ago, you wouldn't have bought bitcoin at that time either. Bitcoin was nothing at that time so we couldn't blame anyone for not being interested in it. Also, even if you have the opportunity to buy it cheap, what guarantee is there that you won't sell it immediately after making a profit? You also see that even many bitcoin programmers and developers sold their bitcoins at that time, so how can ordinary people like us keep bitcoins until now? Just like now, many people believe that bitcoin will hit the $1 million, but how many people can hold bitcoin until then, including you?
834  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will you bitcoin holders sell if we have a major price spike? on: March 11, 2024, 08:09:58 AM
I have been thinking about when to start selling my 2 bitcoins I purchased for 21K average in 2022 lows.

I keep hearing things like we could spike to 200K really quickly and stuff like that, maybe in just weeks.

My question is when will you guys start to sell if we have a major spike?

I used to think I wanted to sell at 100K, but this is rising so fast I have been thinking more like 150K to start selling.

How will you sell, slowly into a spike or wait for a set price and just dump.

I'm quite greedy and my sell target is only when bitcoin is above $200k. This is the goal I set from 2023, not because I see the current situation that I change the goal . Because I believe this bull season will be a super cycle and bitcoin will be worth over $200k or more and the $100k target for me is quite modest .

Everyone has different visions and goals, so I can't give you advice . But I just want to tell you, in the long run bitcoin can even reach $500k or $1 million, so why should we be afraid and sell at too low a price to others?
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin now? on: March 11, 2024, 07:49:13 AM

Do you think it is convenient to buy bitcoin now according to your predictions? Or wait for its value to drop further?

But what if it doesnt drop? you will be caught out so buy now

If you buy now and it does drop - buy more!

I don't see the OP coming back to update us on the situation. But if he decides not to buy at the time of this question and waits for bitcoin to fall , he will definitely regret it because Bitcoin is currently trading above 71k$ . I hope OP doesn't make this mistake because I know many people are waiting for bitcoin to decrease further to buy , and they are very regretful and regretful when they are too greedy and always want to buy at the lowest price .

Bitcoin is unpredictable, no one believes that bitcoin can make an ATH before the halving but if we check the chart right now, we see bitcoin is trading above $71k. So buy bitcoin every time you have money and buy more when it drops, don't wait for it to drop to buy.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 10, 2024, 05:01:09 PM
Today's first match has been finished and we can clearly see that the Islamabad United team achieved a win. Islamabad United's decision was not good in real but unfortunately, it worked in a very good way.
At Rawalpindi's pitch, they chose to bowl first where the pitch was too smooth for the team who batted first but I think today they came to the ground with a different type of strategy. Anyway, at the end of the game, they won and they just need win no matter how it came, but still I think that they took this decision because they had next to next great bowlers as three Shahs and a very good more spin with the name of Shadab Khan and Salman Agha.
Multan Sultan team posted a big total on the board that is 228 runs but the Islamabad United team chased this score in a style. Although no one made a century from the Islamabad united team but 84 runs innings in only 40 balls by Colin Munro set the tone for them.
With this win IU have secured there position for next round along with Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi. Now the contest is between Quetta and Karachi. If Quetta lose both of there remaining games and Karachi kings win there last game then Karachi Kings will qualify for the next round. For Quetta to make it to play off, they need to win at least one of there remaining match. Let's see which one from KK and QG makes it to lay off.

It was completely unexpected that Multan Sultan team would be defeated today despite being given a huge target of 229 runs. Multan Sultan is a very strong team. The team is doing great this season. The team is at the top of the table despite losing the last two matches.

Usman Khan's 50-ball unbeaten 100 innings and Johnson Charles' 42 off just 18 balls. Multan Sultans set a huge target of 229 runs in a batting friendly truck. Islamabad United's opener Colin Munro has managed to get off to a brilliant start. He scored 84 runs off just 40 balls. But I would say Imad Washim played the most important innings. Imad Washim was unbeaten by collecting 30 runs in just 13 balls.

Lahore Qalandars set a target of 167 runs to Quetta Gladiators today. It cannot be called a big target. Quetta's batsmen are batting very carefully. At the end of 9 overs, the batsmen of Quetta Gladiators collected 66 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. Saud Shakee remains unbeaten with 29 runs from 29 balls. Jason Roy and Rille Rossouw are already out.

View of the Allianz Stadium before the match

Odds- Juventus(2.22) vs Atalanta(3.55)

I personally think Juventus should be able to win that match. But at the same time, Juventus has not been performing great.
Well, actually the same thing could be said about Atalanta as well. Last three matches have not been good at all for them.

But when we look at the last five, it changes. Because Juventus have only one win in the last five and on the other hand Atalanta has two. I think this is going to be a very interesting matchup between these two. But I am not sure who is going to win though.

I can see Koopmeiners Teun on the field who is the top scorer of Atalanta this season, But I can't see the top scorer of Juventus on the field, yes I'm talking about Dušan Vlahović who made 15 goals for Juventus this season.

Good luck bettors
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 10, 2024, 09:24:27 AM
If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.

You could say the same thing about every scarce financial asset. Bitcoin didn't "recover" on it's own. The adoption from institutional investors is what is pumping the price. The last time when the BTC price was above sixty thousand dollars Tesla and other big corporations were active in the BTC adoption scene. It's actually impossible for Bitcoin to hit and stay at levels above sixty thousands dollars without the help of big institutional investors. I agree that the long term HODLers won't regret by staying loyal to BTC, but let's not ignore the fact that Bitcoin is going up mostly because of the institutional investors.

It is true that the price of bitcoin is increasing due to the involvement of sharks and large institutions, but what makes them have such faith in bitcoin and not in other assets ? That proves that bitcoin is truly a reliable and potential asset, so organizations have been attracted and convinced by it . So it can be said that bitcoin itself has proven itself to be a good asset and will not disappoint its holders .

But after all, bitcoin is also a financial market and is highly volatile, so buying bitcoin requires clear analysis and planning . We should not buy bitcoin at too high a price and then have to hold it for years without making a significant profit. Like the people who bought it for $69k years ago, when everyone was making huge profits, those people just broke even after 3 years of holding.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank - Safely store your bitcoin on: March 10, 2024, 08:04:34 AM
My idea would be to create a bank to safely store people's bitcoin and other crypto for people who just want to hold for a lot of time.
They would register with the passport or ID, it would cost 100 GBP + 1% to deposit and verify people's identities.
Then, to withdraw, it would take 3 months, they would have to show the passport and have a meeting via zoom once a month during 3 months stating they would want to withdraw, it would cost 300 USD plus 1% of the value.
It would compensate for people who want to hold for a lot of time without having security concerns.

The reason we choose bitcoin is because we do not completely trust banks, bitcoin is decentralized, bitcoin gives us full control over our assets without asking permission or depending on anyone. We don't even trust banks or governments, why should we trust you and your services? So the idea of creating a centralized system to manage people's bitcoins was always a bad idea and goes against the decentralized nature of bitcoin.

By the way, if I can't manage my bitcoins, I'd rather store them on reputable exchanges than have to use your service.  Too expensive, LOL.

I have never used these tools, if I want a transaction to be confirmed quickly I will accept increased transaction fees, and for regular transactions I am willing to wait.

Are you using free tools and what are you expecting? If it were you, would you be willing to spend a lot of your money and effort to build a tool for everyone to use but not gain any profit? So don't complain about free things in this world, nothing is free or cheap that will bring high quality. Use a paid tool like Viabtc that everyone mentioned or increase the transaction fee for the next transaction.
