821  Economy / Economics / Re: TP ICAP to launch crypto trading platform on: June 29, 2021, 03:10:57 PM
I also just read this news a few minutes ago, and it said it will be released in the second semester of 2021. The retail market should have started to look at the potential it has if TP ICAP will actually release their BTC trading platform because this will open the door for institutional investors who have a quite different perspective from retail.  In fact, it is possible that their daily transactions will be double that of Binance, whose segment is retail.  TP ICAP will also develop their platform for ETH trading, so this is not a trivial decision.  Like Paypal accepting BTC I hope the market responds positively.  Looking at TCAP's share price which also responded positively, I hope this will have a good impact on the market which is currently undergoing a correction.
822  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: June 29, 2021, 02:32:27 PM

You can't blame them, the virus is deadly but the vaccine is more deadly if it's not really proven it will prevent someone from getting infected with the virus. Some maybe can tolerate the virus, so they would prefer not to get vaccinated, but if the government will make it a law that everyone should get their vaccine, then there's no excuse for people not to get vaccinated.

I don't blame people who don't want to be vaccinated, but I think that people who spread rumors and fear in the community about vaccines are to be blamed. Regardless of whether you believe in vaccines that can prevent the transmission of the covid 19 virus. People should be calm by reading all the information related to the vaccine that will be injected into them so that the effectiveness of the vaccine given can enter their body, Right now, what I see is that people are scared before the injection and they also have a history of congenital disease, So if the health worker does not work properly and seriously in looking at the history of the disease in the community that he will inject then what will happen is that the side effects of the vaccine aggravate the history of the existing disease.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: June 29, 2021, 01:42:11 PM
Poor and rich are social problems that all countries have.  In the book I read entitled "Zakat", it is said that the solution for the poor and the rich is zakat, in the wealth of the rich there is a right for the poor 2.5% of the total because the essence of man was created to be a leader, when he is well off and has wealth.  If there is excess, then look at your family first, when your family is poor, in your property there is the right of your family and it is obligatory for you to give it.  When your family is prosperous then look at your surroundings, if your neighbor is poor, your neighbor has rights in your property and it is obligatory for you to give it.  When is it said that you are obliged to pay zakat for the poor, when your wealth has met the nisab (rules for calculating it), that is, your wealth is equivalent to 85 grams of gold.  With this zakat, wealth will be distributed to the needy according to the proportion so that human life becomes prosperous.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 29, 2021, 12:36:02 PM
I guess and think that the Match between Germany and England will end with a 2 to 1 for Germany.
The other game will be done for sweden, normaly.
But with so much surprise the last days all is possible.

It will not be easy for Germany to beat England, considering that England's goal has never been touched by a goal from the opposing team.  Kane is not going to let this go easily.  Although Germany is a fairly stable team, this match is eagerly awaited.  After Croatia was defeated by Spain, it was possible for Germany to be defeated by England.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: June 28, 2021, 04:29:46 PM
Just a little update. This pandemic isn't yet stopped by Vaccines. In fact in some countries, many cases were recorded after a year in pandemic and that sucks. Not because we have vaccines already, but because of the incompetencies of its leaders. Many people are still dying like in India and more variants of concerns are emerging.

I am a resident of India, and I have to say that India has managed the situation pretty well. There was a spike due to the Delta variant, but it was contained on time. On the other hand, countries such as Brazil are now reporting death toll even higher than that in India (despite the fact that Brazil is having a population that is 1/7th that of India). Also, here the vaccination rate has picked up after central government took over the task from the state governments. India now has the highest per day vaccination rate in the world.

Im proud of India and its people, although at the beginning of the handling of covid there was chaos, but now it is better.  Compared to my country, which is still trying to vaccinate, the people prefer herd stupidity over herd immunity.  They even think that covid is just a conspiracy and does not exist and is not dangerous.  In fact the case of death is very real.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 28, 2021, 03:42:45 PM
My guess is the match will be a draw.

I see the same thing, both teams are equally strong.  I even saw if one of them won it was just luck.  Spain and Croatia is a match that I really look forward to, especially in it there is a Modric wound.  I hope they both look epic this week.  However, it is very unfortunate that the Croatian team lost Ivan Perisic to Covid, even though he is one of the leading teams.  I hope Croatia doesn't repeat the previous Europa League.
827  Economy / Exchanges / Re: British Financial watchdog FCA bans Binance crypto-currency exchange on: June 28, 2021, 01:49:00 PM

The article claims that UK citizens are not allowed to speculate on the price of cryptocurrencies, but they can buy and sell them. Grin
@OP, don't speculate. Just buy and sell.

Quote
This means that people in the UK are not allowed to use Binance's services to speculate, or bet, on whether the price of a crypto-currency like Bitcoin goes up or down. As long as Binance.com is being used, you should be fine according to Binance.

However, they are still allowed to use the website to purchase and sell crypto-currencies, which is not regulated, crypto-currency analyst Colin Stone told the World Business Report programme on BBC World Service.
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-57632831

Thats quite funny bro, the government forbid their citizen to speculate in crypto and just buy and sell. Buy and sell is part of speculation. The government doesn't seem to understand or pretends not to understand investment and speculation although the reason of their policy is make sense to avoid their citizen get loss because of the uncertainty but this cant be true.
828  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 28, 2021, 11:28:16 AM
Again a wrong Argument. I hope you understand activities known as Ancilliary activities. These are the activities done to achieve the primary goal of the institution and in every law around the world, these get the same status as that of the core activitiy.

OK.. so you don't have any issue, if these "ancilliary activities" are being used for tax evasion or bribing. The justification is that some of this money is being used for charity in Africa or other regions and therefore we should tolerate this.
See I am not a conspiracy theorist. Ancillary activities like confrence etc. Are perfectly fine but talking about bribery Is there any proof of that? Just a few conspiracy theorist article? If they have so much of proof why not drag him down to the courts? Power of masses has always been more than any business tycoon. If we are believing every conspiracy theory then illuminati are everything, what can us government do?

No, of course there is no evidence. People with low IQ just hate the rich because they themselves are not rich and they think the only reason someone could be rich then is because of corruption and not because they built a company that has become dominant in a major part of the economy. So they make up a lot of excuses and crazy conspiracy theories about why someone like Bill Gates could be rich while they are poor.  And the simple answer they don't want to believe is that instead of spending their time believing crazy nonsense, Bill Gates built a valuable company.

Indeed, it often happens, those with poor mentality think that everything in life is supported by a conspiracy.  No one gets rich without stealing and cheating but there are many better things to do than think that way.  However, this condition will continue to occur because even though the rich and the poor start from 0, the mentally rich will rack their brains to get their wealth while the poor will be busy mocking the hard work of others.
829  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: June 28, 2021, 05:53:32 AM
I'm not sure who is to blame in this situation. I think this is a win-to-win situation because both the pope and his followers have the same desire for profit. But what is different may be the impact of the rising pattern which seem to be manipulation by the whale. So drop more of your money in the first place then earn more when others start increasing their demand. I'm sure you know what someone mean by announcing "I bought $1 million xxxcoin today and want to buy more in the future".
Yes, the desire to manipulate prices does exist. But I think it's not sustainable on long run, because many people who followed celebrities like Musk in the past have already lost too much money due to the market's fluctuations, what compromises the reputation of the popular individual advertising he bought nice amounts of any coins.
People who followed Musk recently aren't going to keep doing this, otherwise they are fools who like to lose money, while feeling pleasure in being sheep of someone else. Clever guys who try to manipulate the market may think they are going to be benefited, although the reality can be quite the opposite. Nobody likes manipulators besides their own sheep.

It's like a saying mentioned in a thread's title at gambling section: "It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it".

Profits that are very risky for followers if they take steps to follow the words of whales like Elon.  There are many wiser steps in taking advantage not only through such means.  If the investment climate continues to be filled with price manipulation, it will not be good, there will be many who suffer losses and there will only be 1 winner.  When manipulation occurs, the earliest momentum will gain profit.  Life always gives such choices in the end.
830  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market on: June 27, 2021, 03:57:39 PM
Elon's words were like a virus that immediately spread to the market.  Even on June 25 yesterday, only tweeting about Shiba Inu in 24 hours the market went up on the coin.  Yes, the power of whales is unavoidable.  Who is to blame here?  Whales or followers.  They continue to create a market towards a zero sum game.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: June 27, 2021, 02:58:49 PM
As per the error made by Chinese, I couldn’t be more happy about this: the less Bitcoin has to do with China, the better.

After the end of the relationship between BTC and China because of the fud they continue to create, I feel that future price increases will be more stable because the market is no longer worried about the China issue.  The Chinese government will also no longer have any influence in their statement, because the miners have been banned from operating.  Hopefully this passes soon and the crypto investment climate becomes even sexier. BTC is the best financial tech innovation, but everyone is blaming BTC for all acts of abuse such as money laundering or terrorism, even though BTC is the victim of exploitation, and not looking for solutions for this best innovation.
832  Other / Off-topic / Re: Breaking News: John McAfee found DEAD in Spanish Prison on: June 27, 2021, 01:40:21 PM
If we think the reason behind his suicide he did was just because of the stress of living in prison like the law in that country is great enough to treat all classes of society even though mcfree is a rich person and the case he is accused of is also tax evasion  In my country, corruptors live comfortably in prison and can even go out to watch football outside the city.  Apart from that, Rest In Piece John Mcfree.
833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 26, 2021, 04:42:23 PM
Maybe when the profit is pretty high than you could've expected, I think that's probably a good time to sell.
For me that's a pretty standard way to have a safe point when you are trading in bitcoin but you have to be really quick in making a decision because the market doesn't wait for you, it will continue to move no matter what.

If there's an opportunity to sell your asset with high value better to act fast, inside this market every market movements brings good

chance to everyone who wanted to earned dcently, all you have to do is to set your keep doing your research and make sure to have that nerve to risk your money, make sure that you have that trust with each participations that you made,

timing is really important within this venue of investment.

In my opinion, it depends on the type of investor, for long-term investors, he already has a long enough commitment to sell his coin even though it has reached the peak of its momentum. There is a type that is short term, so this opportunity will determine why it should be sold. I'm a long term type who isn't too interested in the turmoil in the current market. Like a red day in the sky.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 26, 2021, 03:40:06 PM
I consider this case quite dubious if there really was a hack on their exchange. Why don't they report it to the authorities? If they were honest, they wouldn't have to run and disappear. A leader of a big business that has a market of 3.6 B should be wise if they are honest people. Do not report to the authorities quickly, run and disappear. If it really happened, big investors would track it down no matter what. It's purely them who are taking the money away like the previous turkish crypto boss.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: June 26, 2021, 02:33:42 PM
Risk management is one of the most important business ventures traders who are unable to manage their risks properly can lose everything by not reducing losses in a timely manner by keeping very large and very risky trades or by not showing adverse price changes in a timely manner. Although it is almost impossible for trading to consider all aspects of risk management it is important to control one's emotions and move forward with patience will help you manage the risks of your short term business.

I don't think this needs to be discussed again, because after all, risk management will never be separated from everything in life, especially related to investment. Everyone should have understood the concept of risk management, whatever investment choices we make, they all have risks. Risk is something that has not happened and has an effect in the future, just stepping left or right has a risk. Moreover, choosing the coins to buy and sell.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: Real Inflation only happens when Central Banks print High Denominated Notes? on: June 25, 2021, 03:46:39 PM
The final result of hyperinflation is that money becomes as worthless as the Zimbabwean currency. That's what we see in the country's economy. 100T is not a normal value but if converted it doesn't even reach 1 USD, until their government passes a lot of currency to deal with its hyperinflation. Yuan, USD, even the rupee, are very unique.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 25, 2021, 03:19:57 PM
Mancini is leaning towards re-proposing the same team seen against the Swiss, with Acerbi in place of the injured Chiellini and Di Lorenzo wide on the right in the role that was Florenzi's, who also trained separately in recent days. Regarding midfielders, Jorginho is untouchable, with Barella returning as a starter after being rested. Verratti will be selected instead of Locatelli. Few doubts about the guys in the front, with Immobile and Insigne together with Berardi.

But the good news, Chiellini is not seriously injured and may only miss the game against Wales. But it didn't really affect their position because it was confirmed that his team had qualified for the last 16. I think this is the right moment for Chiellini to take a short break so that in the next match Italy can play better and become champions in this league.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador started BTC campaign in their country on: June 25, 2021, 01:58:34 PM
This is a simple way to promote BTC as their legal tender, but there's something that disturb me a little bit. Is the El Savador government has ruled about the transaction with small scale, because as long as I know the transaction fee is quite expensive for low middle class community. Whether in the country, transaction fee is cheaper that another country?
839  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Tapering off The Fed akankah mempengaruhi Pasar Crypto? on: June 25, 2021, 01:16:35 PM
Ada prediksi lagi kalok pasar modal crash, negara amburadul, pasar kripto malah to the moon.

840  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's up with the recent decline? on: June 24, 2021, 02:03:40 PM
That is true reality, when bitcoin goes down there is really not that many coins that makes a profit, it is definitely one way to say that it is not doing good and I fear that it will always be connected.
Yup, because of that I'm curious why the OP said there are some altcoin which isn't down as bas as BTC and ETH. When I have altcoin portfolio then BTC is down like yesterday, I loss 50% meanwhile BTC just crash for 10-20%.  I need some explanations of what the OP said. Maybe I got miscommunication of what he wrote.
