821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: May 27, 2018, 12:08:15 PM
Good afternoon. I would like to hear your opinion. I've been reading the forum sufficiently long, but I rarely write. I had one question. Why is the forum divided into 2 teams that angry with one another? The first support bitcoin and hate all altcoins. All of this for them is only garbage. Others like altcoins and do not understand what the problem have first.
I have a question for the first camp. Why?
Take for example Zilliqa, Tomocoin, NEO, DragonChain, etc. People who bought them in large quantities became richer. Why do you think this is garbage?
Bitcoin is a legend, but some altcoins are worth paying attention to, aren't they?

Some peoples have their own favorites coin. Bitcoin is good coin because have biggest market cap but some altcoin have a great project that can bring big profits in the future. Indeed some altcoin are worth to collect
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can FUD destroy bitcoin? on: May 26, 2018, 04:34:11 AM
Many of the FUDs circulating about bitcoin seem to indicate the scouring of bitcoin users' trust on bitcoin so bad perceptions of bitcoin, especially for new users and selling bitcoin, which seems deterrent to use bitcoin, will the price of bitcoin be destroyed by FUD, How do you react to it?

I think spreading FUD can destrying bitcoin. Many peoples are new in bitcoin thing and they will afffecting on negative news. I think its very wise if we are not reading about negative news because it makes some people become panic and start selling their bitcoin
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin mining geography on: May 26, 2018, 04:31:30 AM
you can mine bitcoin anywhere on earth, but is there a place on earth where the most profitable to mine bitcoin. maybe Antarctica? I would like to know the opinions of people from different places and countries.

To make profits from bitcoin mining, many factor to reach it. Like price electricity and the stability because electricity is most dominant cost in bitcoin mining. Every country have different electricity cost and I think China is dominant in bitcoin mining
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depending your future in bitcoin... on: May 26, 2018, 04:21:05 AM
I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

What do you think guys?

Every investment have a risk and we should not put all our money in one investment. Cryptocurrency is new kind of investment instrument and i think its now wise if we using all money we have or we using loan money.
Better put money to invest that we can afford to lose and we hold it for long time because bitcoin is good long term investment
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: May 07, 2018, 12:08:00 PM
I am believe waves is potential coin in the future. Recently, I am reading about waves want to lauch smart contract so many bussiness can use waves like ethereum did. I am prefer holding waves for long term because that news
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop the “Pump and dump” campaigns? on: May 07, 2018, 12:01:43 PM
What are the best methods of protecting the community from these campaigns?

I think we can not control people when they want dumping their coin/token. They must be considering many aspect before some one dumping their coin maybe because they just need cash for their purpose. I think its hard to control market behaviour
I am believe if we want to stop dump and pump, its begin on our self
827  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes and regulations on: May 06, 2018, 12:48:51 PM
Today I was on a conference in Vilnius and went on a lecture about cryptocurrencies. I would like to share some aspects which I did't see so clear before. As we know, among those states which want to regulate cryptos, there are those which consider them as property and others as means of payment. The first approach is usually seen when there are tax companies around, because money is not taxed, but possession is. So when a state days they consider cryptos as property, it means they are getting taxed, while this is not the case with means of payment.
What do you think of this?

Government collecting taxes on bitcoin trade. If bitcoin as an assets, we will make trade with others and thats means we make profits and as far i know, that profits are taxed by government but maybe i am wrong
828  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: May 06, 2018, 12:43:04 PM
In every trade, some one make profits and some else get loss on their trade. I think its usual like on our real world. Price always volatile but if we investing our money for long term on crypto, we can make profits. Some peoples lossing their capital because they make bad trade and maybe not do research before investing.
Its like stocks exchange or forex market, every market have their own risk and what we can do is minimizing our risk from lossing our money
829  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment amount on: May 06, 2018, 12:38:13 PM
How much would you make as first amount? I was thinking  £50 bit even if this times by even 10 that's only 500.

Would 300 be a more realistic start

In my perspective, its doesn't matter how much money we start but the most important thing is we are using money that we are willing to lose. In any trading market, risk always high and not matter how much money, if we are not relax and enjoy with our trade, we can lossing our money.
If we want make big profits we should using big capital too
830  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: May 05, 2018, 11:55:29 AM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.

Paying taxes is obligation as citizen. Government get taxes from us and government ensure our safety and our security and we get service on infrastructure. I think Its mutual and as citizen we should be paying our taxes.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: The EU wants transparency on Cryptocurrencies on: May 05, 2018, 11:52:11 AM
KYC is already common in cryptoworld right now but KYC applied on our wallet i think its will become not crypto again. Government want to know our assets and I think the most important thing about anonymity is because cryptocurrency is beyond regulation
832  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: May 05, 2018, 11:44:07 AM
I need some opinion if panic selling can contribute of rapidly drop of the bitcoin price. If it is right how can we convince to the bitcoiners to not doing panic selling.

Off course panic selling can affecting on bitcoin price. If many people selling their bitcoin, its flooding market with bitcoin and if bitcoin demand not increase, the price must be drop. Its hard to convincing people to not selling their bitcoin because they have their own reason.
But most reason why they made panic selling because they read on negative news and its really affecting on holder psychology
833  Economy / Economics / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: May 05, 2018, 11:39:32 AM
So,  after i see all of advantages for Bitcoin.
I am still scare this Crypto will used for Evil-Activity or Money Laundring?
Greedy governor will hide their money in Bitcoin and yah, I am curious how we fight against it?

I think its not just bitcoin used for illegal activity. Indeed bitcoin have advantages on anonymity but its doesnt mean bitcoin mostly used for illegal activity. Its depending on bitcoin holder.
Bitcoin many advantages beside anonymity, like lower transaction and instant transfer and for investment, bitcoin have limited supply and thats make bitcoin price always increasing
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can government destroy Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2018, 01:25:25 PM
they can't destroy bitcoin but they can regulate it. why destroy if they can get money from it and it can passively help their economic to grow. many are against but don't forget many are also in favor of bitcoin. bitcoin is also decentralized and no one is in control over it.

What government can do is making regulation on cryptomarket so government can collecting taxes. To destroy or ban bitcoin, government should shut down internet connection on their country because as long internet connection exist, bitcoin or other crypto will always exist too.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest to Ripple? on: May 04, 2018, 01:18:22 PM
Never looking at ripple or XRP but seem its centralized crypto. From what understand about this coin, Ripple have huge supply and most of total supply owned by founder. I think its not good for me for investing on ripple, but its depend on your decision because maybe i am wrong
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on coin under $30 on: May 04, 2018, 01:15:09 PM
I am looking to sell 1000 xlm, currently own 3000. I wanted to buy NEO but it will give me about 4 coins of neo. So I was thinking of going after something less pricey to get more of it. Only looking to invest into 1 coin here. Was looking at the following...

- Waves, EOS, ICX, IOTA...own some of all already
- GAS
- Steen

Tia

If you want to investing on some altcoin under $30 with potential big profits in the future, i will recomend you to looking wanchain. Its good coin and I am believe that will bring profits in the future.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: May 04, 2018, 01:11:10 PM
Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

No, i am not interested mining with our mobile phone. I am believe that can bring damage on our device because mining have to run 24 hours and 7 days a weeks. Better using device that designed use for mining and i am believe that will maximing our result
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: May 04, 2018, 01:01:59 PM
THis world can not be banned or killed but it can be regulate even though it is hard. With bitcoin and ether govt can track the moving fund but with Monero and some other coins like, It is impossible. So How to control or stop unseen. I think it is difficult to ban or kill cryptocurrency. In China, citizens still trade either offline or ofshores. They move to hongkong to trade and withdraw their cash via alipay.

Its true, many ways from crypto exchanger if government ban crypto trade. Its hard to do if government want to ban cryptocurrency, because many country dont have regulation about crypto and what government can do is only prohibit crypto as payment.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: May 03, 2018, 12:53:48 PM
I think altcoins can survive, as seen from altcoin prices now most altcoin prices rise from the downs it proves that more and more are starting to invest in altcoin, it means altcoin will be able to survive for the future.

I am believe that altcoin will survive and can compete with other coin. Many altcoin have good project and good dev. Some altcoin very profitable because movement in market more volatile than bitcoin. If you see on coinmarketcap you will see altcoin can gain until 100% in one day
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Altcoin prices often follow Bitcoin price on: April 30, 2018, 11:51:01 AM
Do they really? I often encounter this statement. And i have no idea as to why. This past few days, bitcoin is on the rise and most certainly than not altcoin's price surely follows. I am not saying this is bad but altcoins have very little in common with bitcoin. And they are certainly not carbon copies of bitcoin either. Why the heck is their price so closely connected despite being so fundamentally different?

I think its because bitcoin still benchmark for market. When bitcoin price drop, maybe people who hold altcoin trying convert their altcoin for bitcoin and thats make altcoin price following bitcoin.
