Box, what did Alex say about the reduction of posts from 30 to 20 per week?  Thanks.

He's been too busy to address it so I'm guessing we're going with 30 for now.

We've currently got 3 open spots in the campaign. Looking for 2 Full members and one Hero/Legendary member.

Keep in mind the rates are 30 USD / 40 USD / 70 USD for Full, Sr. and Hero/Legendary members (respectively). Post your applications here and I will review them by wednesday. To those sticking around in the campaign, I'm glad to have you onboard. If there's changes to post count or pay rates I will notify you asap.

Merry Christmas!
Hi Box, I became a hero member in this period of activity, probably there are not spots for hero member but I'm fine with that, also I have updated my signature as well.
Hi Box, I do not know if you saw my message a few posts above so I'm quoting it since there seems to be an open spot for Hero Member.

Yeah I think I'll just bump you up to the Hero member spot.

The Trusted Setup is a vital part of what makes Zcash work. Zcash is the first coin to use a simplified implementation of a new cryptographic proof called zk-SNARKs (SNARKS for short). These SNARKS are the engine that can quickly and efficiently verify a transaction and add it to the blockchain without revealing any details to the public. The tricky thing about these SNARKS is that (like many algorithms) they need to have a one time setup. And the reason that this setup is called the “Trusted Setup” is because you have to trust that whoever generated those keys destroyed them when they were done.

Does this mean that ZenCash, ZCash, and ZClassic all share the same trusted setup private key?

Sounds like a terrible idea. I hope that isn't the case. Would really appreciate if anyone elaborated.

Quick question. Is the Zenpaperwallet.com website legit? If so, why does it not allow me to generate an address whilst not connected to the internet? I checked out the source but unlike bitaddress there's no working html copy to use it offline.
Check out our new $ZEN paper wallet: https://zenpaperwallet.com/ Great way to keep your private keys offline

It doesn't work if I disconnect internet.
It's normal for websites in the internet to only work whilst connected to the internet.
You can generate addresses online and keep and use them offline.

You obviously haven't used Bitaddress. If the app is truly client-side there is no reason it should require an active connection once you have loaded the website.

Accidentally sent 1.83 BTC to my HitBtc Bitcoin Cash deposit address. A mistake I hoped I hadn't made seeing there doesn't seem to be much replies from support anymore. Do I have any chance here?

Or is the support still around?

It was sent to https://blockchain.info/address/1FkCxk8usXc7hnG7PWSPhua6fKwVBPVPwA

In general, please please always double check that you're sending to the right wallet. Where did you send it from? i think there's ur only chance

It's already being worked on (hitbtc  can recover the btc).

They are taking all of your money and no one will take real action to do anything about it.

I'm so lucky my withdrawal succeeded a few days ago.  Grin

Actually they got to me and stated they are working on solving the issue. I'll keep you posted.
Did they replied you via email? I wrote them more than 10 emails.....nothing:(

First via their site forum (https://forum.hitbtc.com/categories/support) then via email. I basically contacted them every way possible and forum got the first reply.

Hello,

I've managed a bounty campaign with a lot of participants as well as a long-running signature campaign for BitDice before change of management after which the site went downhill.

Now I've decided to offer my services to others too with same dedication.

What I offer:

  • Simply, signature campaign management

Contact: r0zjyw0j@duck.com

I will also prepare posts for the campaigns if needed.

I'm always open to offers and I should be reachable most days via PM.

Saw that they payment was sent last Thurs., thanks Box.  Smiley

Anyway, can I ask when the new USD pegged rates are kicking in?

Alex insisted on kicking them in asap so I'd say next week.

yeah get your quotes right next time. i never said that.
Don't need to justify it.I believe you.  Wink

i'm never there at CG anymore. i like just-dice.com bustadice.com bit-exo.com
I see what you did there.Pure opportunist.Using CG threads to promote shit-dices now ? Amazing! Not going to work out.

i can write 1 word messages there.
'1 word messages' -Don't want to be your English teacher but you gotta take basic courses up.Also be happy with your 1 word messages. Undecided

I don't know who to reply but I never said I don't want to follow your rules. Just the fact that you enforce them literally in every single situation where it's not really even harmful. How do you consider it harmful or otherwise offensive if I, without giving it a second thought, just reply simply and understandably. No harm done to anyone.

Common sense folks.

Ran into a new surprise!

Thank you, friends.
839  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest crowdfunded casino on: December 15, 2017, 10:57:42 PM
Eh, I know they are rules and all but if a mod asks you a question that requires a simple answer and I don't have anything else to say, leading to a one word reply I don't give a second thought to and it leads to a mute...

Is that a way to treat your players? One could argue this was a simple attack on me hence this other person above me didn't get muted. This just seems like a selective way to apply rules.

Aaand... more...

You see how they say I think rules don't apply to me while not muting another person who broke the same exact rule while NOT ANSWERING anything unlike I did.

I know I am probably giving this too much thought but I can't get over how they apply their rules...

Has bitcointalk been affected by the kraken virus? Because it's abysmally slow today.

Used xmr.to and was very pleased with it. Until kraken gets its act together (if ever) this is the way forward for me. Thanks to all.

I knew Kraken was laggy and all but never had issues with my transactions. Usually when I cashed fiat out it took maximum of 2 days to get my money (I think even next day mostly). Wonder why the differences?
