Actually it depend how your activity to gamble, if you have healthy mind you will aware that is the worst thing to do. You may have 5% to pay your loan because the rest you will just lose money and trying to borrow money to another person. But, when you being an addict you may no have these thing, you will just focus on borrow money to meet your lusty and you will confuse and lamenting when your bet gone wrong and you lose the money.
Borrowing is a big no no when you want to do is to gamble. Surely one will be in great debt after lossing the money in the gambling activity and this not sound good paying debt without seeing some things that we could say money being borrowed was being put to good use. I suggest when borrowing money it should only be done to a good purpose and not into gambling. Borrowing money may be like for building a house, buying a car, investment purposes and etc.

I only borrow some if i know for sure that i can repay after a x amount of time. I get some affiliate at the end of the month and i can see upfront how much that minimum will be.

I expect good afternoon sleep on Sunday. Sochi is one of the most boring tracks in current calendar. Even when Mercedes dominance weren't so big, races weren't interesting here. I don't have big expectations about upcoming race, but maybe it's possible that Verstappen will give fight to Bottas for 2nd place. He need to recover after he didn't finnished in 2 last races.

What you guys never mention in your posts is the midfield. I know that the front is the most important to everyone, but midfield this season is the source of fun and entertainment for me. It is so tightly packed and they provide very interesting races.

So I think this Sochi will be very different then what was the case so far. This season is atypical and races always have some drama to offer, thanks to that midfield.
I actually wanted to post about it, but forgot about it later. If you ignore what's going in front and don't pay much attention to Mercedes, races indeed is interesting. We already had 9 different podium finishers and probably 4 teams fighting for 3rd places in constructors cup - Mclaren, Renault, Racing Point and maybe Ferrari. Middle of peloton is very competetive this year.
It's only a bit sad that we have 3 teams which can't even fight for points - Alfa Romeo, Haas and Williams. While last year only Williams were racing in their own league.

The  midfield is nice to watch. You also see it during the race. The most coverage is about battles in the midfield. You don't see the top that often if they are just cruising the whole race.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 23, 2020, 10:27:30 AM
My best solution to prevent to become addictive is to create a paper wallet which I cannot easily reach and transfer 50% of my winnings to. So if I lost after that, I am not able to redeposit all to chase my losses. For me this works very well.

thats an original remedy  . never came across a post or a thread that does this but except to the paper wallet because that was already common  and exept to the withdrawing of funds after winning because so many people have done and recomend this but this is also a fail suggestion because gamblers still find them selve gambling with thier winnings  but for you , you can get discourage for gambling again because transferring a fund from paper wallet to the online wallet is not convinient add in if you put the paper wallet on unusual locations  .

Of course it's easy to sweep the paper when you have directly access to it but if you put it somewhere else, for example at parents house, you wont lose it.

There should be some wallet where you can set a timelock on so you can't withdraw from it till a certain date.
825  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Create Mnemonic from existing wallet? on: September 23, 2020, 07:04:52 AM
I am wondering if it's possible to create a mnemonic from an existing wallet.

For example, I got some existing paper wallets and want to create a mnemonic  of that. Is that doable? (of course on an off-line computer for the security)

A paper wallet usually contains a private key and the public key hash (the address). You can't create a BIP39 mnemonic seedphrase with this data.

The seed phrase goes trough a hash function, such a function is one-way by design.

OK good to know. Thanks for the fast information.

Of course you can.
You have the private key.

Then show me how... I just visited https://iancoleman.io/bip39/ and generated a random seed...
Here's the first address/private key:

1tthHGi8L1dRqC5uDAbQjT6un3QMucEGu => L4XSR8Ufpfg3Fnd68z3E9sTahDnbzmssJc6Dkc6nm9P5xAUbR3Fb

This is the info you'd find on a paper wallet...

Now, by all means... Publish the seed phrase...

Are you willing to make a small bet to make things interesting?

I would close the topic but I will let it open because now it's getting interesting.  Grin

Juventus looks getting easier to win the Scudeto this year. Alvaro Morata returned to working with Andrea Pirlo for the next three seasons after he agreed to wear the old lady's uniform. A very good purchase for Juventus rather than buying Luis Suarez or bringing in Edin Dzeko who is 34 years old. Compared to the two strikers, Alvaro Morata also has very good skills and quality in front of the opponent's goal. Can't wait for Alvaro Morata's action this season with Juventus after he managed to give Juventus the previous Scudeto title in the 2013/2014 season as a loan player from Real Mmadrid.

Juve is a retirement home, they love to sign players well into their 30’s don’t they Cheesy
I wish another team would stand up to Juve & fight for the Serie A title, it's so boring when the same team wins every year. Serie A is the least competitive top league in Europe.

I think De Ligt is the only youngster they bought the last decade  Grin

~snip~
also Mir the fight from a bad starting place on the podium, well done.

The next weeks amazing 10 weeks and 8 races, for the spectators good but very hard for the driver. The championship is also very open, all from the first 10 can win the championship.
My prediction is right for Johan Mir, he will enter the top ten and can finish second. Mir performed well besides that he also benefited from the racer who fell in front of him, Rossi and Binder then Miller entered the pits and did not continue the race on lap eight, Lap twenty Bagnaia who led fell. Lap twenty five, Joan Mir advanced to second place to finish.

That's correct but this is also racing, for podium or points you also must finish the race. Mir and Suzuki have a good pace this year and already good enough for podium. Look at Austria GP also Suzuki is driving to podium but than also the Suzuki driver crash that's racing on a high level.

What do we expect from the next F1 race in Russia? Just another HAM and BOT on the podium again with maybe VER? Just hope RBR fixed the problems with the engine otherwise it will be easy for Mercedes again.

Boring start to finish victory from Mercedes, look at the past years.

That looks very boring indeed. Let's hope for some suprise happens at the race but if I check the weather forecast no rain expected so that can't be the suprise.  Roll Eyes And it's not fair to hope that the Mercedes crashes into each other. ;-)

Also our internal currency exchange is almost ready to meet you:)
<snip>
I totally agree with this. On-site currency exchange is much more convenient than withdrawing and re-depositing funds in another currency. Not to mention the cost of transaction fees ...
<snip>
Yep, becomes hassle-free, less time needed to transfer and make transaction upon withdrawing the funds.
Less fees since you won't be needing to send it over different addresses just to exchange it.
And honestly speaking, it's my first time to see a an online casino having internal exchange on them. Great work!

Well DuckDice also got it already for a long time. Probably the same system will be reused.

Koeman is just a big fan of Depay, we noticed that already in the National team. Let's see what Depay can do if the transfer takes place. He would be the second Dutch guy in the team. Will we see another team with a lot of Dutch players like in the 90's?

Also a fan of Wijnaldum it seems, and if Liverpool can't keep hold of him maybe he comes, so you could be right. I'm not 100% sure myself he would fit in the team, but if this is what it takes to rebuild, then I guess this is what it takes.

Semedo to Wolves would hurt us a little though I think. Already we will miss Suarez and Vidal, who, really were the ones left with any heart to fight in that team.

Wijnaldum and Van Dijk would be nice for Barcelona. Maybe they can make a package deal :p

Getting too close to $10k for my liking.

I missed buying the dip last time it dropped into the $9k's. Wonder if it will drop that low again, or support will hold...

Guess there will be another dip only the question is when and how deep  Roll Eyes
