i must say im not 100% happy with the IPO-expansion, cause i bought some shares for 0.3 like many people did, not knowing that there will be an enourmous ipo at 0.3 again,..

Since this is a bond, you really should not get capital gains from this.  The money is in the coupon payments.

At least we know these zombies don't have to be killed by head-shots.  Plus they don't infect their victims.

Or maybe they want you to think you can kill them.  It is probably in some cage in the basement of HMS being tested and wondering how the zombie disease spreads.  I think it is a fungus.
823  Economy / Securities / Re: (TyGrr) TyGrr-Bot ~automated arbitrage trading system~ on: June 05, 2012, 04:18:59 AM
For the love of God, pump some money into that bot right now! The difference between MtGox and Intersango is $0.36 / BTC!
Here's your volatility; would you like fries with that?

Not to mention all that BTCchina money last week.
824  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Today's Gainers/Losers on: June 05, 2012, 04:02:29 AM
Noticed the open time is off, am fixing that now.

Edit.

Looks fixed.

Hopefully in about 2 months I will have a better way to visualize this for everyone.
825  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] YABMC :: 150Gh Perpetual Mining Bond :: Coupons Now 2x per Week!! on: June 05, 2012, 03:57:58 AM
YABMC passed 5000 BTC in total volume today!

Thanks to all of our bondholders for your support.  Coupon tomorrow ~ 1200 UTC.

But down 6% today  Embarrassed

I guess it is a good time to buy before a coupon payment.

How hard would it be to add a timestamp to the images so we can quickly and easily see what time period they cover?

Done.  The time period starts at the 00:00 UTC each day.

How do you do a stock split on glbse?

You post on the feature request thread Tongue

Yea, I assumed that they sent a request to GLBSE support.
828  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Today's Gainers/Losers on: June 03, 2012, 05:48:21 PM
I believe he does.

24h and 168h would be very nice.

I feel having a discrete open and closing times as opposed to a continuos last 24 hours or 7 days is more informative, but I do plan on having that data represented in the future.
829  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Today's Gainers/Losers on: June 03, 2012, 05:22:08 PM
BTCMC didn't have a "90%" drop in price from 8 BTC to .8 BTC.  They had a 10-for-1 stock split.

Unfortunately, there is no way I know of to pull the number of shares outstanding from the GLBSE API.  It can show how many shares dividends were paid to but that is it for now.
830  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE - request for next features on: June 03, 2012, 05:21:14 PM
Can the number of total outstanding shares be listed in the public market API?

Below is the charts of today's gainers and losers in asset price on GLBSE.  The figure are updated every 30 minutes.  Also included is a csv file of all the assets and their recent change.

That is very nice. Thank you.

Could you please consider making a daily and weekly chart too? Updated every 30 min as well?

Do you mean in the past 24 hours?
833  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Today's Gainers/Losers on: June 03, 2012, 03:07:04 PM
Just realized I had the image files pointing to the test location.  It was not updating correctly.  It should be fixed now.

Brits say that the private companies do the same work for less money than having civil servants do it because you can't fire incompetent civil servants.  Most of the guys who say that publicly are part of a magic circle that bounces between these big companies and parliament so they have a vested interest.

Makes me want to watch Yes Minister again.

I don't understand, why is someone manually selling these?  It should be automated.

Simple, it's not automated.

(as for fat-fingers, look up the Tokyo stock exchange example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mizuho_Securities#Massive_sale_order_of_J-COM_share_incident)

so set one up.

1.  Synchronize clock with the GLBSE server and subtract that value from the auction's start.
2.  Check to see if it is time to sell, if not go back to 1.
3.  Log into GLBSE through the API.
4.  Verify that the number of bonds is available in the portfolio to sell.
5.  Sell the bonds.
6.  Evaluate results.
7.  Notify whoever of the completed sale.
837  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GLBSE - request for next features on: June 02, 2012, 07:04:41 PM
I have a request for the Public API.

ex. https://glbse.com/api/asset/HEDGE

When doing HTTP GET URL /api/asset/TICKER on an asset that does not have any trade data nothing is returned.  It would be nice if all the values (latest_trade, quantity, ect) were set to 0 until there are trades.
838  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] MORE Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: June 02, 2012, 08:09:03 AM
Statistics for the PPT.B sale:

Code:
Minimum Bid      1.03800000
Maximum Bid      1.30000000
Average Bid      1.06624577
Maximum Yield   23.31%
Minimum Yield   -1.54%
Average Yield   20.05%

Again, sorry for jumping the gun on selling the bonds.  If you missed out please come back next week.  I am sure Patrick can get it done closer to the correct time.

I don't understand, why is someone manually selling these?  It should be automated.
839  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] MORE Pirate Pass Through Bonds! on: June 02, 2012, 03:53:38 AM
I am surprised that GLBSE doesn't have the ability to sell from the assets with the API yet.  One way to get around that is to move the assets to a single user and then have a program to sell at the desired time.

Looking at the API, it is possible to just do it from the asset.  Just set up API access for that asset.
