we would like to give you a quick overview about the current status of the project as well as the activities in the future.
Exchanges:
The good news is already known. Nevertheless, we would like to inform you that CLOAK has been officially listed on BINANCE since April 18th. We continue our efforts and are interested in being listed on further exchanges. Despite the Binance success, we continuously working on new exchange listings in order to increase liquidity, volume and exposure.
Berlin Conference:
The appearance as exhibitor and sponsor at the C3 Crypto Conference in Berlin (05 + 06 April) was a huge success for CloakCoin. We have received positive feedback about the positive development of CLOAK from various people and projects. In addition to the public presence, we have met many new partners and are in talks with them about future potential partnerships. We will keep you updated!
Arcane Bear:
The existing partnership is geared towards long-term collaboration, and organic growth is preferred by both sides. We are very proud of such partnerships. We are receiving advice and continuous support regarding our marketing and strategic activities. Arcane is currently building a bullet-proof and solid network of various crypto and blockchain related people and we are proud to be part of the Arcane Bear family.
Tom Cridland:
Tom is busy building up first contacts in the canna-industry to represent a true use-case and thus represent an everyday use for Cloak. In addition, Tom organized appointments for us with various media houses and also made a publication possible. We will inform you about the official publication when it is online.
CLOAK Website:
The CMS of our website is ready now. At the moment we are in the process of expanding the site. The expansion includes additional sections for news, update and an event feed as well as a blog. In addition, new languages will be added and the corresponding news will be published in the respective language. The whitepapers will be translated as well.
CLOAK Official Video:
The official Cloak video will be translated in several languages. The video will be translated in Russian, Spanish, Korean as well as Chinese and will be available soon. Furthermore, the official video will be integrated into the Cloak website.

We would like to inform you that there are now several Cloak Telegram groups. These groups support the respective languages which are also posted on the website. We want to expand the community into different languages and be more helpful to every new Cloak member.

TREND REPORT sprach mit Harry Sidiropoulos von CloakCoin über die Idee hinter dem Projekt und die Möglichkeiten, mit der Kryptowährung Gewinne zu erzielen.
„Anonymität im Zahlungsverkehr ist weit mehr als ein Grundrecht“, betont Sidiropoulos, das Sprachrohr der schon seit 2013 im Markt aktiven Krypto-Enthusiasten. „Verschlüsselte Adressen und Transaktionen schützen vor unbefugten Zugriffen.“ Hacker könnten sich sonst nicht nur digitale Coins aneignen, sondern erhielten auch Zugriff auf sensible Transaktionsdaten. Daten, mit denen im Zuge der PSD2-Richtlinie ohnehin viel zu leichtfertig umgegangen werde.
Nach dreijähriger Entwicklungsphase veröffentlichte das Team das Transaktionssystem Enigma unter einer Open-Source-Lizenz. „Dabei wurde das Cloak-Projekt all die Jahre und wird auch heute noch aus eigenen Mitteln finanziert“, beteuert Sidiropoulos. Eine Enigma-Transaktion kann nicht zurückverfolgt, Absender und Empfänger nicht identifiziert werden. Daten werden weder protokolliert noch online gespeichert. „Sobald eine Enigma-Transaktion durchgeführt wird“, erläutert Sidiropoulos, „werden per Zufall andere Teilnehmer, sogenannte Nodes, aus dem Netzwerk ausgewählt. Über diese wird die Transaktionssumme vermischt, ehe sie der Empfänger erhält. Die Verbindung zwischen Versender und Nodes ist verschlüsselt und wird innerhalb eines Peer-to-Peer-Netzwerks durchgeführt. Für das Versenden einer Enigma-Transaktion fällt eine Gebühr in Abhängigkeit von der Transaktionssumme an. Sie dient als Belohnung der Nodes, verteilt sich zufällig unter diesen und beträgt zwischen 0,2 und einem Prozent der gesendeten Coins. Je mehr transferiert wird, desto geringer die prozentuale Enigma-Gebühr.
CloakCoin ist dabei die erste Kryptowährung, die durch Cognosec ein externes Audit eines NASDAQ-gelisteten Cyber-Security-Unternehmens durchführen ließ. „Aus der Prüfung konnten Korrekturmaßnahmen abgeleitet und Prozessänderungen umgesetzt werden“, so Sidiropoulos. „Enigma wurde dadurch optimiert und Schwachstellen beseitigt.“
Bei der Coins-Generierung wird das ressourcenschonende Proof-of-Stake-Verfahren eingesetzt. Dabei wird der Besitzer allein für das Halten der Coins mit einer Verzinsung von jährlich sechs Prozent belohnt. Neben möglichen Kursgewinnen und der Gebühreneinnahme in der Funktion als Node einer Enigma-Transaktion ist dies die dritte Einnahmemöglichkeit der Kryptowährung.
