821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with spam and scam tokens on my wallet? on: September 26, 2023, 07:46:34 PM
It's simple, create a new wallet. The one with which you have already tried everything continue to use it for the same things, for all new projects and untested things, airdrops, and all other drops... And with the new wallet, try to be much more careful and use it only for tested things.

It's good (and smart/wise) to have more than one wallet anyway... Wink
822  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: September 26, 2023, 06:26:32 PM
Honestly, I'm not familiar with the company names, although as you have shared, they are the most liquid. We are in the crypto world, so I believe it's more appropriate if you can share the most liquid crypto gambling sites, not the general ones, as most likely, they are dominated by fiat casinos.

Stake.com Crypto Casino Reportedly Hacked for $41.3 Million - https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/stake-com-crypto-casino-reportedly-hacked-for-41-3-million/

Well, a serious amount of money, and it seems like Stake didn't even notice it. I think it speaks to how serious a casino Stake is, and we can only assume how liquid they are when they covered this without any problems. I guess we can say that Stake is the most liquid crypto casino around... but who is in second place, and how far they are from Stake can be interesting to find out.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 26, 2023, 08:07:53 AM
its a two way thing, it can make you and also ruin you. you need some luck to win and that is very scarce...

Every coin has two sides... Gambling is a vice, and like many other vices can bring fun & entertainment, but if we abuse it it can ruin us. That's something we learn as we live, nobody is born with knowledge and experience, we test everything around and in that process, we need to learn about our capabilities and limits. And of course, we make mistakes, it's natural... it's one of the learning ways.

Epic $12.3 Million Single-Day Triumph at Fairspin Casino

Awesome win, maybe Gosu?! Smiley

FairSpin has a mandatory KYC, that's why I decided to pass it. But this win, and I read some other good things about them and their in-house token, is making me think about signing up...

Anyway: “Through an astonishing series of consecutive wins, they accumulated an astounding 505.6 BTC.”... Congrats to this guy, I am sure he had some crazy gambling session and he won a crazy nice amount of BTC! Smiley

Thanks for the updates! Good to see that you keep updating the site and adding new features, games and coins! I played poker before so will check the new in-house game when I got time! The addition of DOGE is always good as it is still one of the most used coins in gambling (at least I think).

The game looks good, I have been playing it for days... I guess it's because I am lucky and I am winning! And the "Fall Equinox" spin is there as well, I am winning small BTC, and ETH prizes... but I still hope that I will hit the grand prize one day! Smiley
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Flip or Trade? What’s The Bigger Gamble? on: September 25, 2023, 06:38:52 PM
...
What’s your take? Does day trading seem more of a gamble compared to a straight-up coin flip

Well, daily trading with pump & dump coins/tokens is worse than a coin toss game. A coin toss game has some house edge, but pump-and-dump schemes are pure manipulation, it's cheating basically.

I guess if you day trading with unknown coins/tokens it's more manipulation (cheating) by some whales and groups, and if you are not at the top of that chain you will just face losses. We can't say it's gambling if the game its already rigged.

828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 24, 2023, 06:08:59 PM
...
When you say that it's our money and the profit should be ours only, where do you think the money comes from that people use to start businesses or make investments? It's also their own money, but they are bound to pay taxes on their income even if they have used their own money. The government doesn't give people money that they can use to do business and then pay taxes with that money, so it's not really about who the money belongs to.
...

Life is gambling... whatever we do we face risks, and sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. But here we are talking about paying taxes on "fun & entertainment", do you really think that we should pay tax after every gambling session? So if I plan to gamble I need to be a "pro" accountant, to open spreadsheets and take care of all my deposits/withdrawals, wins/losses? Well, I would rather stop gambling or I would go 101% illegal just to avoid that.

And it's a bit stupid to compare starting some business with playing slots... do you really think that risk is the same? And possible long-run gains?
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu (SHIB): The Rising Star Redefining the Crypto Landscape on: September 24, 2023, 01:47:51 PM
I once also believed in SHIBA and thought that I could make money on this token, but after manipulations with it stopped even thinking about it. I just found a TFS token and now I am steadily increasing my profits thanks to their high APR

TFS Token... you mean the one from FairSpin casino? Well, they offer a nice APR I saw it, but they are also "KYC mandatory", something I don't like... so I didn't even register on the site. But generally, I like casino tokens, to earn them by playing and later to stake them for some additional rewards.

Well, Shiba Inu is just a meme coin... maybe we will see some price rise in the future, maybe not, but I don't expect miracles in some short period of time. I like to compare it with Doge, a stable price most of the time, and there's always a chance for the price to skyrocket... we just need to see Elon (or someone similar) pushing it a bit.

Now I'm quite curious how other gamblers are managing this part of the story, if they manage it at all.

So, question to you, did you ever consider paying taxes on your gambling winnings, or deduct the taxes with the losses you've created? If not, what is the reasoning behind it?

In my country, there's a 10% income tax over gambling winnings. The casinos/sports bet platforms are paying between 15 and 20% revenue tax from all their revenue. So far, I haven't paid any tax over my gambling winnings, because I never had any total winnings. All my small winnings get spend for betting and I lose them eventually. Gambling losses cannot be deducted from the taxes where I live.
Most of the online casinos I use aren't located under the jurisdiction of my country, so I'm not sure whether do I have to pay taxes or not.
Are there any gambling taxes in Quracao or Costa Rica?

I wouldn't pay taxes on any gambling profits either... who's crazy enough to report himself and pay tax on gain from gambling? After all, it's our money, our risk, so if by any chance we make some profit it should be ours only!

Well, I only visit crypto casinos... so I don't visit local casinos or their online versions. So I am not sure how that works and if there are any taxes on that... And I don't have a wish to find out more about it.

831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: September 23, 2023, 06:33:51 PM
I'm not active in BC, what is this mega wheel? Is it like a wheel with prizes starting from low to high amount and is it available for the 70 level only?
Do you think it is worth to reach the 70th level and spin the mega wheel every day?

With "Super Spin" I get 25 cents daily, just once or twice I got something more.

Mega spin looks more generous:

Well, I like this "Super Spin" (I am level 28), I guess it would be much better if I have "Mega Spin" on daily basis!
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 23, 2023, 05:53:06 PM
...

Low marketcap coins are too risky and sometimes low cap coins doesn't follow the market and remain stable for whole bull season. Other big risk is delisting of major exchange such as Binance and big dumps possible. I tooks some risks by buying SNM and orher low cap coins , unfortunately Binance delisted three low cap coins without notification and my portfolio down 5x in just matter of half hours. My friend made 15x in same SNM when it pumps from 0.3 to 12$.

I have done so much research on these low cap coins and my experience says that low cap coins are profitable only in bear market. Many whales have extra usdt and btc and they pushing low cap coins one by one. wing, bond, snm, oax are some coins which rised more than 10x in very short time but again dump to original value in 48 hours.

Well, 99% of alts behave like you explained. They remain stable for the whole bull season, after the bull season they even lose their value... over the year I have experienced this with some of my holdings. But some alts surprise all of us, and they make some incredible rise.

I think that people should stick to BTC and other top alts, but I like to experiment with some new projects and it's not bad to do that, as long as we don't risk too much. Having fun is healthy, and in some situations can even bring some nice profit.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: September 23, 2023, 08:06:55 AM
The government can guide and help its constituents and elevate the status of its citizen by providing opportunities to people.  The government can also help its people by providing free education eliminating illiteracy among its people.  The government only provides possible solutions but the people should be actively participating in these activities.  In short, ending poverty is possible if the government and its people work hand in hand.

Maybe in some movies... but in reality, ending poverty is not in their interest. Governments work hand in hand with rich people (or for rich people), simply without poor people (slaves) they wouldn't have power in their hands, it's the leverage they make on all of us. So what the government is doing is keeping this system as it is... not for years, for decades. Look outside, the rich are more richer, and there are more poor people than ever. If they are really doing something the numbers would be different.

834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: September 23, 2023, 05:34:32 AM

Yes but every casino offer different rewards to their vip members. This is why some players want to have as many vip accounts on different platforms as possible.
Besides, if you are a big player and spend too much money on gambling then it would be more benificial to have few bip accounts and split the money amongst them. Thus way you will get more money back in the form of rewards.
But yeah, if you are a small player then it's not that important.

But it's not easy or cheap to be a VIP in more than one casino... Especially if we are talking about the highest VIP levels, we talk about wagering millions, and to do it can take a lot of time and money.

Rewards can be good, for example, I would like to spend that Mega Wheel at BC every day... but getting to 70 LvL is not that easy, I think it will take years for me to get there.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest in this project or not on: September 22, 2023, 04:13:36 PM

Well, after this one I don't even need to open the site and check anything else about this project. A trading bot that needs to be downloaded... who downloads anything from this site is at a huge risk of losing everything stored on that device.

This is not a big or a huge red flag... I can't find the right words to describe it, it's screaming "scam/fraud" from all sides.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 22, 2023, 02:32:27 PM
Not reading terms and conditions seems normal to me. If you understand the terms and conditions of one casino, you understand them all. But there are just other casinos that have something else on them and some of them change a bit of it after some time. If the casino acts differently from the other, it becomes an issue when the casino refers the violation to their T&C.

But if they obviously use the T&C to scam users, that's a different story. They gotta be careful with that or else when the word is out and proven the casino scammed users, it's going to ruin a reputation no matter how little the amount.

I don't read terms and conditions, as you said, understanding one is like we saw them all. But I read BTCGosu reviews, which is far better than reading ToS, where important things (like KYC, bonus terms, deposit options, etc.) are pointed out.
Well, we saw some casinos changing their ToS without any notification, it's like a big red flag... who knows what are they capable of doing after that?

But when it comes to some bonuses and promotions, I must say that I always pay attention to terms and conditions about that. It's a big difference if min bet is 10 or 20 cents...
837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hold'N'Spin trusted Crypto and Fiat Casino.50 Freespins on Register! on: September 22, 2023, 10:28:54 AM
No, if you are from any of the countries mentioned above, you are not supposed to use the platform at all and that is exactly what a restriction basically means. What's the point of them restricting certain countries if they allow gamblers to create accounts and gamble using a VPN? So, even if you manage to do so, you won't be able to complete your KYC verification considering the fact that you are from a restricted country and your IP address won't match the data you will provide.

And, when you can't complete KYC verification, and probably won't be allowed to make a withdrawal, what's the point of making a deposit and gambling with them when there are dozens of other casino platforms that might allow you to gamble without any restrictions or anything?

My country is not on this list, but I see the same message: "Location restriction. Due to legal reasons, we can't accept players residing in the country you are currently in." I also don't understand what the point of these "restrictions" is, while they allow us to use VPN. It's very strange... and I don't like it at all. In other words, they will always be able to pull this rule if it suits them, I guess especially if we are on some winning streak and we wish to withdraw those winnings.

This is not the first time for me to see this operator... I am not allowed to play in casinos operated by S.G International N.V.

Thanks for sharing the results iv4n and not a bad end result at all. You won 1 golden ticket and more satoshis and RP than lottery tickets! You must be closr to the 100k also for RP? Do you exchange it immediately when you reach it?

I cashed out 140k RPs:

I didn't want to start from zero again, so I left this... Usually, I get to +100k after spinning a few thousand WoF's. It's better to cash it out and gamble with it, or get interest on BTC. We can't do much with RPs, I don't like to exchange them for WoF spins.
I guess I will need months before the next cashing out.

Not all people have bet on France winning. Till now, there have been 1,434 bets on Namibia winning and 1,053 bets on draw.

It will be interesting if Namibia wins. Smiley
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: September 21, 2023, 06:32:58 PM
It's everyone's choices that led us to this point.  Stop leaving money on exchanges and using them as a personal wallet and the problem is solved.  It's not the idea of dex vs cex, it's really how people utilize them.  Put money on, trade, take money off to wallet where only you control the keys.  Boom problem solved
I really wonder if there are still such people keeping money on exchanges, especially after all the latest news about coins delist, exchanges blocks, etc. My rule from the very beginning was to choose the trusted wallet and keep everything there.

Well, I have some amount in some exchanges, like I have some amount in some casinos... we either trust the service or we don't. If if trust it we will always have some amount of coins that we keep in those services. Of course, we risk with that, but moving funds after every trade, after every gambling session, can be expensive. Of course, that should never be an "all-in" amount, it's the part we feel comfortable leaving there sitting and waiting for the next trade/gambling session. If you are not comfortable with that, you shouldn't use that service in the first place.
