821  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Buy-Sell BFG on BetFury | 🔥Fury Pharaoh - New In-house Slot on: September 19, 2023, 07:55:30 AM
Marketing for a token to increase its value should not be relied upon the creators, that is centralization and what we ran away from to invest into bitcoin. If our point is to make the betfury team to make bfg go up, then why don't I just get dollars and tell the USA government to make dollar value more? I mean we can all agree that USA government is much bigger than betfury team, and it is not trusted by some people I agree but globally more accepted and trusted as a currency too.

Because, I want decentralization and with Betfury team being forced to do marketing to increase the price, that is centralization and I do not want that. We as the investors should promote it and hope that it goes up in price as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Betfury team originally allocated 10% of the total BFG emission to marketing. This means that every marketing campaign or promotion on a third-party site involves exchanging BFG tokens for BTC or stablecoins to cover costs. My point is that even if they planned a marketing campaign to increase the BFG value, it would be ineffective in any case.

This is correct, Aside from BFG being convert to Bitcoin/Stable coin to fund marketing cost. They always use BFG tokens as rewards for Airdrops and other partnerships that always result to sell pressure in the market since new holder from different projects usually sell immediately all the airdrop rewards.

Betfury should stop using the token allocated for marketing since they already have a working casino that generates profit which can sustain the marketing of the casino and token itself. It’s too unfair for token holder that Betfury team use the tokens for marketing without any return to token holder while they use the initial funds from ICO to start the casino. It’s more on Betfury getting the investment fund and casino profit right now. Token holders is left behind by slowly dying coin.
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Price Increasing? on: September 18, 2023, 04:59:50 PM
The bitcoin price increase is much connected with the increasing interest on bitcoin from the institutional investors. Several applications from institutions include BlackRock, Fidelity, Cathie Wood's, ARK, 21Shares. The next deadline is Oct 16 and we can expect the market to experience similar scenario till date. By the time court might once again postpone the decision.

The SEC has a lot of time to delay the ETF until 2024. Those deadline is nothing but just a date that being use by some traders to create some hype. This is not a solid basis for price increase considering that Bitcoin price dump to 25K last few weeks and we are already recovering from that since buyers is bagging cheap Bitcoin.

Another reason is the bitcoin leaving the exchanges. According to the experts bitcoin leaving the exchanges were considered as bullish signal. When bitcoin continue to leave exchanges there'll be strong impact on the price.

This true if those Bitcoin will go on non custodial wallet of holders since this is a sign of less potential sell pressure or less sell wall in the order book. This shows that Bitcoin holder is confident on the price of Bitcoin that will pump in the future that’s why they are holding their coins out of trading reach
823  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Was it my fault or not? on: September 18, 2023, 03:31:22 PM
A few days later, I told the police to bring me the lady that sent the coins to my director's Bitcoin address, So they did. To cut a long story short, when I checked the address the lady sent the Bitcoin to, it was a USDT address that my director gave to the lady to send Bitcoin to unknowingly to him.

After that, I was granted bail, so I look for money to bail myself out, but the happiness I heard was that I didn't sell any of my coins while I was in a hard situation, so I know that since I didn't sell my coins to bail myself from the police cell I can hold my coins for longer time.
Was it my fault?

You are not at fault here, First there’s no way to send Bitcoin to a USDT address since it will be tagged as invalid format which will me the sender unable to send(I’m not how you track the transaction but there’s no way to send tokens with different blockchain network therefore there will be no blockchain record to track the transaction).

Second, Your boss agreed to use the cryptocurrency as payment method. It’s his call so that’s his fault whatever happened unless you really stolen the money.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: September 18, 2023, 10:08:58 AM
As for protection of personal information, you can not tell because a casino can start by telling you they are kyc free just to get traffic and members to deposit but as time goes on, they change their policy telling all members to undergo kyc which was not part of the initial. You will have no option than doing it because you have funds already there with them as that is the trick they use to get at members. One thing you should note is that once kyc is demanded, your privacy is no more guaranteed because anything can happen and they tell you they suffered hack which you can do nothing about.

The OP is referring to protecting personal information against hacker that impersonates casino representatives. This scam is popular via email notifications whenever hacker has an idea that you are playing on a specific casino while the victim post personal information such as email in public.

I received this kind of scam attempt because I accidentally use my personal email on one of the bounty campaigns here in the forum. Luckily the scammer that trying to hack use a casino that I don’t have an account which is why I easily detected it as scam.
825  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: September 18, 2023, 06:28:17 AM
Hello guys,

I want to bring to the attention that I have been very unfairly treated by BC.game and created a scam accusation about it:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5466857.msg62848427#msg62848427

Please have a read and give your opinion in the topic if you want.
I just saw that the team representing bc.game has responded to your thread, I think there is some truth in what @bbc.reporter said, you just need to be patient for them to solve your problem, to be honest I don't have many problems on this site and sometimes play often too on this site without any problems, maybe I will also be like you if there is a problem that needs to be complained about, especially if there is no satisfactory response from their service support.

I think there's no harm in waiting for the bc.game team to respond to you again and solve your case problem so that it can be resolved immediately and there is nothing that makes you uncomfortable playing there, sometimes we need to be patient to solve problems and maybe they will reply to you immediately if they come back again.  Wink

It’s been 2 days since the scam accusation thread created and it only take few hours just to verify if the support message to the victim is legit or not about intentionally losing all the profit before he can withdraw the balance since this case will be over of the chat is proven real since they really need to refund the loss.

I really think that the screenshot regarding the support statement is real or else they will get back here the moment they verify since this is a very serious accusation.

I’m not if the support is dumb but they can just hold the prodit and allowed the initial deposit to be withdrawn then banned the account to save trouble for internationally losing it.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 18, 2023, 06:12:51 AM
I've seen several threads talking about bitcoin not been banned in their country but yet they're  not allowed to make any bitcoin related transactions through their local banks and this has really kept me puzzled lately about how people think because they still use bitcoin despite it's  restrictions in their country makes it seem is not banned.

How come people knew the restrictions and how do you know too that Bitcoin is not banned on specific country. This is a very contradicting information which obviously result from different source.

I believe you are collecting information on different user that has different knowledge on the country you are pertaining. This is common if the government doesn't made clear announcement regarding the subject. Most probably, other guy knew that Bitcoin is banned and the other knew the opposite.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Benefits of Bitcoins recent price drop on: September 17, 2023, 12:56:13 PM

I wonder why people always blame newbies every time bitcoin price drops? Not all newbies are stupid and sell their bitcoins in a hurry or they all enter the market blindly like we think.

Because newbie often panic sell that’s why I understand his sentiment about them. Most of the Newbie(not all) usually panic sell whenever there’s price movement downward since they always check the price. Only few pro old time trader do it and most of them doesn’t know the basic trading strategy.

Don't forget that in the market, in addition to long-term investors like us, there are also day traders and futures traders. So it is completely understandable that bitcoin is liquidated and sold at low prices, we should stop blaming newbies. Not to mention, there weren't even any new people selling their bitcoins, the price drop was just a manipulation to liquidate the short order.

Day traders and futures traders is not the culprit for this huge movement since they trading based on the daily price range or else they are not day traders if they dump out of the range. In able for the price to go lower than the average low price needs a huge sell pressure coming from different people that doesn’t care about the price and just want to exit.
828  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Blazed alive? on: September 16, 2023, 01:27:35 AM
As for Zepher is now one of the most excluded DT members, also never heard of him or understood why his judgement is so distrusted now. Passing away isn't much of a reason, nor is leaving the forum.

(There are many members who remain DT2 that are no longer active)

It’s to protect the account in case someone might hack it since Zepher will never come back again which means his DT position has no use anymore. His trust feedback is still reflected on every user profile that he has past trade.

The difference between user that just suddenly offline and Zepher is the chance of coming back. If you are a DT and you suddenly become inactive due to personal reason then that is not reasonable to be distrust. This is same issue on Lauda account which he will not coming back permanently so many removed him to trustlist/distrust.

The upcoming halving event next year could push it past $40K and it will correct itself after a while. Random predictions!
The market reacts quickly to any big news and at this moment no big investments are made into it or no major news that can push the prices high so they are fluctuating in the same range but yeah we can expect something big from next year halving for sure so keep hold of your coins.

Next year halving will just result on short term pump when near the halving date then dump again until it corrects if there’s no positive news aside from halving that will happen related to Bitcoin. I witness 2 to 3 halving if I’m not mistaken and it on,y becomes successful because there’s a lot of positive news that time to back up the hype. I don’t consider much a huge a impact if the reason for the pump is just halving because we all know that it’s temporary hype is just the result of traders want to ride the hype then later on sell-off once the price hit the resistance.

We need something bigger and long term good news to repeat the run like we did on the last bullish cycle.

Might that scenario will happen if the threat still there regarding on MtGox refund also we can add the FTX controversy then maybe fast shift of pace might happen with this. But if all we can see are hyping situation plus back up with good news maybe for that we can see another healthy halving year the same as before. But we can't tell exact situation since for now only people can do is to predict and speculate.
Yeah, That Mt.Gox issue is pestering crypto market ever since I start on crypto despite this happened many years ago. I guess we can't deny the existence of huge amount Bitcoin siting on their stash for a long time that is now huge amount in fiat.

I believe they released a news before that the release of the refund is by batch so there Bitcoin is not a real threat if no one pay importance on it or create FUD out of it because Bitcoin liquidity is much thicker now compared before institutional investors enter on crypto space.

I was supposed to visit your casino for the purpose of checking out what you offer since there’s no image available on your thread to have a glimpse on what you are talking about a Netflix style but the casino doesn’t allowed my country to even just browse the casino for checking purposes.

I’m not sure what license you are using but having my country banned means there’s a lot of country is on the list too since Philippines is commonly allowed to register on any regulated online casino except those casino that exclusive on one country. Maybe try working out on the scope of your license to serve more gambling friendly country? Good luck on your ventures here!

Whatnis the license you are using? I saw on Fatfork post of list of restricted country tha5 even Curacao is restricted so definitely your license is not from curacao.

833  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: September 15, 2023, 07:43:02 AM
But having a 2FA in place is a prerequisite for every gambler because this will not only act to protect the casino but the gambler's account from getting hacked into easily,  so for that if they have an email log it then means that users should manually set up the 2FA security features on the accounts. I
From the casino side, they don't lose money because if a user let an account is hacked and the casino approves a withdrawal request, it is just fine. Casino can put a withdrawal in pending if they detect geographical location change, login on a new device, instantly submit a withdrawal and see it as suspicious.

Casino can detect but mosy of the time allowed withdrawal even with change of geographical location since I manage withdraw multiple times on my account with VPN active using other country IP. I think they are watching for patterns and amount involved before they flagged your account compromised when you got hacked. Most likely ypur account will be easily allowed to withdraw when compromised if you have low bankroll amount and the hacker access your account for the first time.

I agree that 2FA can be a good feature to increase security on the account but again there’s some report that account with 2FA still being hack whether an inside job or players fault. I think learning advance level of cyber security is really the key to improve security of once account instead of relying solely on 3rd party security software.
834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What motivated you to join the forum? on: September 15, 2023, 07:37:14 AM
I join this forum when the cryptocurrency hyip becomes popular in my country during 2015. My goal of joining here at first is determine more source of cryptocurrency aside from the faucet that is popular that time. Signature campaign rates that time is very low that's why I didn't become interested on it unlike newbie user nowadays which surely aiming to joining signature campaign.

To cut my story short. I join the forum to search on what's cryptocurrency and what's other source of crypto aside from hyip which I knew scam that time so I acoided it and decided to chase about the real definition of cryptocurrency specifically Bitcoin.
835  Economy / Gambling / Re: Project feedback on: September 14, 2023, 04:29:10 PM
I've got a project that I need your feedback on. I'm planning of launching a crypto gambling contest newsletter. The concept is very simple, every week we partner with a crypto casino and allow one of our subscribers to win a few hundreds or low thousands dollars to be spent at the casino partner platform.

On one side the casino operator gets a marketing promotion which will eventually results in traffic. On the other side, the members of the newsletter get a chance to win free money to be played. The newsletter would obviously be free to subscribe to.

What do you guys think ? I need your feedback as players and therefore potential subscribers.

This is an impressive idea to reward both user of your newsletter and partner casino at the same time. This is my first time to see this kind of idea and I’m sure that this has a potential to become popular assuming that the reward has an easy to medium requirements in able to claim and it doesn’t need KYC to withdraw the winning amount in an event that user manage to clear the reward.

Can you name one of the casino that you already finalized the partnership? I hope that you partner on casino that has an announcement thread here so that most of the forum members will be comfortable when claiming the rewards.
836  Other / Meta / Re: can we use live signatures on this forum. on: September 14, 2023, 04:24:22 PM
I like to know if we can use live signatures here and, if we can, what level or rank do we need to reach to use them? I could not find any information when I searched using search button. Has anyone here tried making a live signature, and if yes, could you please share the BB Code for it?

Why would you like an animated signature? It’s stressful in the eyes browsing tons of post with different animation on the signature space. Only few people read all the post on each thread one by one and most of us just scan each post that makes us scroll down a little bit faster.

Also loading an animated avatar might affect the loading speed of the forum whenever we will visit multiple thread.

I doubt many users don't like Telegram. Sure, if you try to find some useful information in telegram chats, you will just waste your time because there will probably be tons of spam messages. However, the convenience of Telegram is that many projects create separate channels for announcing news or bots for operational support of users.

I personally don’t like telegram when Ikm using it to ask serious question because you will jus5 be replied by bunch of scammers and sometimes those offensive user that trying to defend the casino even though your concern is real or in constructive form. My message is already being flood before an admin can read it to make an official reply.

You can add too those impersonator scammer that trying to call my account just to convince they are betfury support. Telegram is worst despite its the most convenient way to communicate, scammers make their life convenient too so I stick with the forum coms.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 14, 2023, 03:34:17 PM
A simple question to those who are hoping to profit on the next Bitcoin bull-run:
How do you determine when is the good time to sell?
in other words: how would you know we've reached the peak?

I always use the fibonacci level to determine the sweet spot on taking profit. You can use different time frame on when to apply the level to get the perfect take profit since fibonacci level is base on previous high low and it reflects its counterpart future predictions which trader typically follow.

It’s a self fulfilling prophecy. Use longer time frame such as monthly to apply fibo so that you can have an idea to what is the possible price to take profit. Just take profit on price within each level to have a greater chance to sell on a price resistance which is the sweet spot for selling.
839  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com (e)Sportbook and Casino: Millions of bonus monthly on: September 14, 2023, 12:32:13 PM
I would like to inform everyone that Bitsler is not as trustworthy as it is presented here.

I managed to win about a thousand euros on sports bets. When I wanted to withdraw my money, the transaction did not go through. It has been in "on hold" status for three weeks. They answer my questions "we are investigating, you still have to wait".

Please note that my bets were only on the most prestigious world sports events and my account is fully verified (ID, address verification documents). There is not the slightest reason to investigate.

I am considering legal action.
It doesn't seem like you have much of a choice here in regard to being patient until they are done with the investigation because even when you try via the legal action route, things are not going to happen overnight. You will still find yourself waiting for weeks on top of spending money on legal fees.

Maybe you could kindly ask them to tell you the ETA to avoid being in the dark.

Thank you for supporting. please what is ETA?

ETA stand for Estimated Time of Arrival or simply the date when they will give you an answer although I doubt that a support can give an exact answer since KYC verification and investigation can took a lot of time depending on the degree of your case. Sad part is Bitsler is not active anymore here so can't pressure them to provide much earlier result.

Update us here whenever you've got a word but you can give them at least a week to provide result. Create scam accusation after that since they might proccessing your verification now.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram launches crypto currency wallet. on: September 14, 2023, 12:25:18 PM

Congratulations to telegram for launching their own crypto wallet. It has long been on the news and limelight of telegram running their own TON network for quite some years now and at last they achieved it. With their large traffic size of over 800 million users on monthly basis I think this would give them a good edge and stand on Crypto market as they already have a good utility value coupled with the fact that they just launched their own Crypto wallet.

What wallet is this because telegram has a lot of wallet available on their blockchain since they have their own Blockchain called TON. I’m using Tonkeeper wallet long time ago to hold my tokens native to TON. I’m not what this kind of wallet but there’s a lot of wallet on TON network which is by telegram team.

I made a few research and I believe the article is misleading. A branch on telegram network called Wallet recently announced to develop their own non custodial wallet on the network. You can find the project link here: http://wallet.tg/ton
