821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap's new feature - Chat on: June 14, 2020, 06:08:15 PM
Also did not notice this option, thanks.  A useful option in my opinion, that is, you can chat in the chat of each project.  Now I will register and I will read the news about different companies.

Yeah. A lot of people visit CMC for reference about coins and chat would give them a quick view of different ideas and opinions about coins. How the chat is moderated would also make the difference as large moderation may bring manipulation rather than thought sharing. I hope they won't be like moderated threads by projects here.
822  Other / Off-topic / Re: Share your struggle story during Covid-19 on: June 14, 2020, 05:20:18 PM
I need to go to work while people around me are dying. It's like waiting to get infected from virus. It's not myself that I'm afraid of, I have old parents at my home. I might win over the virus but I'll be carrying it to my old parents.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TAKE A TEST — Which cryptocurrency are you? ₿ on: June 14, 2020, 02:51:44 PM
I don't know how but you got it right. I'm certainly bitcoin.

Maybe the nature of people really influence which coin they like. Though I'm not a strict follower of any, still bitcoin leads my portfolio with several other coins. And no coin could be compared to the trust and acceptance bitcoin have got over the time. Bitcoin is the real digital gold. They'll get a value in every corner of the world.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Exchange Owner Admits Laundering $1.8M in Online Auctions Fraud on: June 14, 2020, 03:18:41 AM
Might have got the idea of car wash from Breaking bad. It's actually is not a unique things and people around the world both filthy rich and growing businesses uses shady ways to launder their money. Offshore registrations and offshore bank accounts are a semi legit way to do that.
Some gets caught with it while many don't.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2020, 05:04:29 PM
Finally, Werder! Shame, that I had no balls to bet on them. I posted in this thread on one of the sides before that I don't seem them that chanceless on staying in the league. With 5 goals scored now that should be really a boost for their confidence. Too bad that Bayern's now waiting for them on Thursdays. In that game their main goal has to be not to get crushed too badly by Bayern and get their newly build confidence destroyed again. Then the same performance as today against Mainz and Koln and everything is possible. Dusseldorf and Mainz are not that far away. Very intense and exciting relegation battle this season! (Sorry for this non-betting-related post, just a Werder supporter excited by todays match and the new hope for his team  Grin)

There's not much difference between Werder and Düsseldorf. If they won over Düsseldorf by a slight margin and got lucky on the relegation play off, they could still remain in the league. But at the moment, Paderbon is sure to relegate and it would be hard for both Werder andd Dusseldorf to come off the play off.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: June 13, 2020, 02:14:41 PM
Most of the government sees open crypto market as challenge to their monopoly in economy of the country. Which to some sense is correct. But it's a counter measure to stop the progress to save the conservative financial practice of the government.
The more oppressive the government, the stricter are the bans for open currencies like bitcoin.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did CSW just admit that he stole 80k [btc] from Mtgox? on: June 13, 2020, 01:02:15 PM
It's just that he was looking for some addresses with a large number of coins and came to find and use an address which coincidentally was the address of MT-gox hacker. As he has claimed those address of his own, he should be charged and made to forfeit the loss of mt.gox users who still are waiting for their coins.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: June 12, 2020, 01:42:08 PM
How do you survive in the current market situation?
If the bounty project is no longer profitable, what do you do now?

I am with the same bounty for last one and a half years. Though it pays less, it pays regulary.
I have collected quite some coins from my bounty and many other ways like airdrops and faucets. I have invested most of what I've earned on different platforms. In the meanwhile, I learned many crypto related skills and gained some experience on trading. Now my entire focus is to grow my portfolio by investing (with diversification) and trade (with lesser risks).
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca Cola going to join Cryptocurrencies Australia and New Zeland on: June 11, 2020, 01:57:26 PM
Starbucks, BurgerKing, Amazon, and now CocaCola is accepting cryptocurrencies! Do you see what I see? Adoption!
We are getting from the stage of internet payments to the real world, where you can pay for everyday stuff with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Yeah not only  that there are actually a lot more. There are some debit card that is crypto integrated which is partners with some known retails outlets or known establishments that accepts crypto payments. Slow but surely, more and more countries are now adoptiing this kind of system that will eventually good for the community

Living with crypto is getting real everyday. Now we can book flights and Hotels with crypto. By taxi credits and supermarket gift cards with crypto. And now you can even a bottle of coca cola with crypto. Hope this would spread around the world so that people would be familiar to crypto and find out why it stands out from every other payment gateways.
830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoCa Cola now Accept bitcoin on Australia and New Zealand. on: June 11, 2020, 01:45:50 PM
I think it's a good idea to let people buy things with bitcoins. I really find myself contend about keeping in budget while travelling aboard. Not just because I don't have the money but due to hassle of currency exchange and getting an ATM that supports your card. With flights and hotels booked online, if we could implement bitcoin payment on other services, we would not need to carry cash.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't we literally send Bitcoin to the moon? on: June 11, 2020, 03:16:32 AM
Some companies like Pepsi had done some space stunts and they were quite popular. But when comes with bitcoin, it's not a company, any advertisement would either need a bitcoin related business or need to have a collective volunteer fund for advertisement. Both of which are difficult to fund rocket ads at the moment. The only feasible solution would be a volunteer rocket owner promoting bitcoin and there are very few private rocket owners that have capacity to do that and a lot fewer (or one) that could be willing to.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need advice, there are plans to launch tokens, tied to exchange trading. on: June 10, 2020, 07:38:07 PM
Are you considering an exchange of your own and an exchange token that gets it's value depending on the volume of trade made on the exchange? If you are, you can either give a discount on trading fees while using your token or give a potion of exchange profit for the coin holders. You can also provide other premium services but the user would aspect either a discount or a share of profit.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview with Stake.com CEO Reveals Plans for Tether Betting + New Games. on: June 10, 2020, 04:09:44 PM
Glad to see a well established platform like Stake starting to accept stablecoin. Hope this would be a feature every gambling site would like to implement. Though that would depend on how successful the tether deposit on stake goes, but I'm quite certain it would be larger than many of alts on stake.
Implementing stable coin would further attract traditional gamblers who are not at ease on using crypto.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again, another renowned exchange went offline... on: June 10, 2020, 02:26:11 PM
Coinbase is a shop and they can close at them moment they want. Bitcoin is not an essential commodity nor Coinbase has total monopoly over bitcoin fiat trading. Whatever maybe the reason for sudden maintenance whenever the price moves sharply, traders if hurt by this, should punish Coinbase by not using them.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your stategy how to grow bitcoin on: June 09, 2020, 03:19:59 PM
Buy with at least 25% of your saving. If you are with low amount just holding won't be profitable in these sideways market. If you are cool with trading, try some grid trading with BTC and USD with some portion of your holdings. If you don't have time to learn and execute trading, you can invest it into some trusted platform for some passive income. Many platforms provides better interest on bitcoin than banks on fiat.
836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pablo Escobar and Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 08, 2020, 05:27:39 PM
The brother of Yasutaka Nakamoto was an engineer and these boys seem to be closely protected by the CIA. Nakamoto brothers lives in USA and have some of their records deleted for their own safety. Yasutaka is a master of privacy and he could be master of many more things. This may be another conspiracy but it has some dots to connect.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The average cost of sending a Bitcoin transaction is now just a little over $1. on: June 08, 2020, 03:28:32 PM
I've been doing like 5 sats/b transactions which is a lot less than $1 for a while now, and they've been getting confirmed within an hour. If you're paying $1 transaction fees, you're honestly overpaying unless you really want the transaction to be almost instant(next block).

Yup. as I have already replied to a similar thread with my 4.4 sat/byte transaction that got it's first confirmation within 25 minutes and got 6 within 45 minutes. Even if it would have take a bit more, It would not have been much of a trouble as almost all of the platforms are aware of the fee status and gives enough time for deposit.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects willing choosing bad exchanges? on: June 08, 2020, 12:28:38 PM
Good exchanges won't take just any projects as they are going towards making themselves a good reputation. They have a strict norms to follow and prerequisites for project are strict which are difficult to fulfill. Some popular exchanges do list coins for a fee but some new projects can't afford to spend 100s of bitcoin just for listing. All that left are the third grade exchanges.
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 Charts, bulls and bears both correct? on: June 07, 2020, 04:47:16 PM
People are reading charts with stocks for centuries but the results are either up or down and nobody can tell it for sure.
The political and economic situation as well as peoples and governments stance towards bitcoin or cypto might have an affect on the coin.
Significant events like hacks, theft, loss, bug, fork, new implementations of upgrade may have effect on the change.
But I don't believe the market would respond the same way they did before based on some periodic graphs.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What casinos have forums? on: June 07, 2020, 02:50:56 PM
The forums I know about + the ones already mentioned:

- https://forum.luckygames.io/ (they are going to close the main website)

Something I am seeing is that most of the casinos are opening discord channels and this I believe is a good way to engage with their players.
You might want to check them too for your article.

Among them stake's forum seems to be the most popular one as  they hold many promotions on their forum. They are also ranked good on google search as many of my crypto related queries brings the stake forum's links. Their sister site primedice's forum too is popular but not as much as the newer site. I have no experience with other forums.
