821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: August 22, 2020, 09:53:08 PM
What are the projects you guys are looking for? Are there upcoming Defi project sales which you keep an eye on?

DIA at the beginning of the sale was quiete interesting.
the defi project nowadays remains the choice due to its popularity and it is becoming very good
Until now, HE is quite attractive, because now HE's price is in the position of $ 3. This is quite encouraging for the owners of the DIA coin because after a few days ago it fell at $ 2 now it has increased significantly
No doubt Defi project are the most popular in crypto sphere but people need to understand that most of the Defi project are hype base and drop to nearly zero at anytime. An example is compound which was in the $200-300 price range and now $171.

What are the projects you guys are looking for? Are there upcoming Defi project sales which you keep an eye on?

DIA at the beginning of the sale was quiete interesting.
Now so many investors are looking for DIA that's definitely right choice i think but at the moment price is too up. I have seen two big successful DeFi projects still now, DIA and Oikos if it also Tron based DeFi project. A lot of such project are coming right now because it’s crazy trends is ongoing. I see DIA's very positive things it’s already catching a few big exchanges.
Many investors looked into DIA because of the amount which was raised during the token sale and I think crypto investors need to stop chasing project base on hype and the amount of money raised during sales.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can he surpass YFI to reach $30000 per coin on: August 22, 2020, 05:44:47 PM
OP, your friend presumption was absolutely right because the token have a limited total supply of 30,000 which is almost reach and once it reached there will be higher demand of FYI in the market. However, the limited supply doesnt justify the future price range of the market cause anything can happen in crypto market.

Is your friend a crystal ball or a whale planning to do a painful pump & dump soon?

The dump can happen but YFI seems to have the smallest total supply which is the reason why it experiences a ridiculous surge in price.
823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: August 22, 2020, 01:13:14 PM
I supported what he said about crypto trading to be a different ball game due to the market highly volatility in nature which the reason why some people said crypto trading is like gambling and crypto itself is another course but I believe the reason why Dave Portnoy lost $25K is that he didn't take his time to learn the fundamental part of crypto trading especially the stop loss strategy and emotion control.
Meanwhile, every individual that cant do that shouldn't trade cryptocurrency.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the need to increase BTC's max supply arise in the future? on: August 22, 2020, 12:03:30 PM
The goal for 4 years to reduce the number of bitcoins mined in a block is to increase the scarcity of bitcoins. I think that if you increase the number of bitcoins, the halving won't make much sense and bitcoin will crash. Bitcoin is currently at its best and bitcoin only has 21 million coins.
Halving will be useless if the max supply of bitcoin is increase. However, bitcoin won't crash even if it max supply happen to be increase cause it something Vitalik have done with ETH which didn't affect ETH price with quality but I don't think that what we need now concern bitcoin because there are more important thing we ought to focus in not max supply increase.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | [CPI] Crypto Price Index | [Hotbit | Bilaxy | Bitforex | Digifinex] on: August 22, 2020, 10:19:16 AM
Binance listing is a wonderful decision but it sad that I'm unaware of this project at the early stage(before bullish market) and I guess that's because there's no proper advertisement for the project.
What left now is just to keep my eye open on the price momentum in other to accumulate before Binance listing which I believe will somehow help the token surge in price and liquidity.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 21, 2020, 10:04:47 PM
Use case.
That's one and most important of all.
It must have a feature that will click to the mass and merchants.

I already have that kind of coin.
What I am looking for now is something that relates to the gambling and gaming industry.
I think that industry is blooming more.
You make a good point but the use case of token/coin is not sufficient to make crypto grow and so is the merchant's feature either. Meanwhile, 45% of all crypto related project/IEO inaugurated  in the year 2017 used this features but their project price in the market worth nothing.
The one reason I beliece the coin/token i have will grow is through the project team level of experience and expert.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can IDENA price touch $1 ? on: August 21, 2020, 09:26:58 PM
i've been following idena lately its the proof of person right? well we can see that many people are into this coin and it seems that they have a very nice concept you needed to prove you are a person in order to mine coins, we can't say it right now but there's a high possibility that it might reach $1 at some point.

It seems that today there is a discussion about Idena and several similar projects, I found this tweet from @santisiri, it seems like good news.

https://twitter.com/santisiri/status/1296522244886278145

https://twitter.com/vitalikbuterin
I see vitalic also retweet that tweet, I think a lot of the ETH community will also look into it and go to Idena, they will find a good project with a unique system and will make them into the IDENA community, look again at the development next week whether Idena will get other exchanges and continues the high price rally
Vitalik is ready to retweet very good and unique tweet on twitter especially if the tweet was send by someone from his companies or someone he know but Idena seems to be making enormous waves in the market but I'm yet to understand they force behind the surge in price of the coin. However, with it been acknowledged by someone from ETH team the future is bright.

831  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Vulnerablilities - Drama or real. on: August 20, 2020, 11:27:25 PM
Firstly, the OXT researcher was right when they said if the UTXO in a wallet knows it will be easy to know the next transaction that will be mix because UTXO is reliable for the start and end of each transaction but since the Wasabi wallet vulnerabilities were said by a competitor it hard to believe if this was actually the truth or a drama. However, using wasabi or samourai wallet alone as anonymity is concern was never an advisable idea from the first place but wasabi wallet was too strong for Chainanalysis and Europol why OXT?

Have once sold Gold stable coin on there last year and everything was fine. However, you can contact the exchange site representative through the link provided above but I'm curious about your statement because there's no way you'll request for a withdrawal on the exchange site and you will not be giving a transaction ID as evidence that the withdrawal is executed.
Do you have any?
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Mom Hester Peirce Officially Sworn in as SEC Commissioner. Will this help on: August 19, 2020, 08:30:06 PM
Crypto Mom Hester Peirce Officially Sworn in as SEC Commissioner.
[snip]
Maybe now we can get more clarity from SEC on crypto regulations. This could provide a nice boost to the US economy.

Peirce earned the nickname ‘Crypto Mom’ when she spoke out and highlighted parameters that were set and heavily scrutinized in the SEC’s processing and ultimate rejection of Bitwise’s Bitcoin ETF application. Peirce argued that the standards that Bitcoin ETF’s are subjected to have never been applied to traditional markets offering. She also called for a safe harbour period of three years for digital asset and crypto projects as the regulation was not clear.

[snip]
What are your thoughts?
Hester Peirce sworn in as US SEC will somehow help cryptocurrency but the US government have their own regulations and she will at least open their eyes to some certain area though. However, I once read an article that stated the SEC was abusing power and there's a possible chance for them to be restricted in some judgment making.
Meanwhile, Hester was already US SEC commissioner long ago before the public/official sworn in.
835  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffet bought “Gold” for the first time. When Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2020, 01:58:44 PM
So much hate for the Gold before and now, he’s investing on it like nothing happened. Anyway, expect Gold to pump higher because of this and since many economies are really suffering right now Gold is the best option to earn and save more profits. I hope bitcoin is the next step for Warren though we don’t need him to get invested but at least he’s a popular stocks guy and it can make a good impression for bitcoin so let’s see.
maybe the man Is just hypocrite to accept reality.

Having a lot of money?there is always a possibilities that He is accumulating crypto secretly?
Buffet is one of the most respected business tycoon in the world and if there is a chance that he accumulated crypto secretly it will after his dining with Justin Sun cause he was giving his first bitcoin by him and with the price sense of bitcoin when the pandemic issue was high Buffet may have give in to crypto secretly.
About his Gold investment this wont be his first time.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 19, 2020, 01:12:23 PM
The truth about crypto currency is that it is more about hodling, technically, crypto is hodling.
Most people that has been able to take profit from cryptocurrency trade or investment are those that have mastered the act of holding.

Knowing when to hodl, when not to hodl is an important skill you need.
Cryptocurrency is more than buying, selling and holding as you announced because adequate knowledge and constantly understanding of the market momentum are needed to succeed. However, you make a reasonable impression when you said knowing to hold which the knowledge i talk about but emotion control and stop loss strategy is also needed i.e
For a crypto trader or investor to succeed he needs.
1) Basic knowledge about crypto market analysis.
2) Research to understand the trend the market posed.
3) Have emotion control or else he will fall in love with his holding.
4) Have stop lost strategy when the market dump in price.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian tool will make your transactions transparent on: August 19, 2020, 12:36:08 PM
Mixers haven't become effective nor we need to use it.
Mixing company transactions may not be fast but at least your anonymity is sure which is the most important thing and I dont know why you believe in the news hype posted by Cointelegraph which was knew for adding sugar to their articles.

Since it was started in order to stop any scamming issues, it possible we all coming that way and lost the anonymity that supposedly we have.
I don't see that happen mate. I'm sure a majority of the mixing company like Blender will examine the analytic equipment and if it does expose anonmymity, an advanced tumbler equipment will be established. Besides, it hard for any analytic equipment to expose anonymity created by genuine mixing companies.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why LINK is pumping so hardly? on: August 18, 2020, 10:39:12 PM
~
To be sure, investing in LINK is very profitable, but still do the analysis
before deciding investing in LINK, so as not to buy at the top price.

I'm not sure anyone should considering buying LINK at this point. The price is over-bought at the moment especially on the daily time frame and will likely drop more, possibly to $13 - $15 price levels. But if you're comfortable catching knives, you can open a trade and hope for the price to go up. As far as Bitcoin's recent run continues, it will continue to trend downwards. The goal of trading assets like this is to enter around the same time that the smart money goes in.
I support what you said because alot of weak hands have joined the coin pushcart when it going bullish and the best decision is wait for it current price correction to totally locked in.
Speaking of catching knives, only a higher buyer(whales) can do that while he dump once he feel satisfy with his profit but I'm still surprised with the speed the coin used to dethroned BCH, BSC despite the cheat strategy of the 2 coins owner.

That is market trend one project always start moving like this and majority of the people entered at the peak price. Last BNB was on fire and everyone was crazy to buy this token like they are rushing towards link. There is no one way traffic so we will see big correction very soon there is big chance of retracement after the next move so that I also agreed with you.
You make a reasonable fact cause thats what the most tradition done by newbies and inexperienced traders but I believe the reason why BNB make the unexpected surge in price was because of the free token share of a token that worth $16,000,000 among all BNB holders which was also a hype and coin started to dump once some people somehow feel comfortable.
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 18, 2020, 10:06:31 PM
Lower in the price of dollars doesnt contributed to the surge in price of bitcoin cause US dollars have experienced some lower price before the pandemic and it does not impact any surge in price and what I believe lower price of USD impacted was the price of Gold.
Which I believe Buffet investment in gold is enough as an example.

Different people with different viewpoint.
840  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Where and how to get investment in exchange for ownership in order to expand on: August 18, 2020, 08:07:37 PM
You need angel investors. I can't look for the legit angel investing website although I've seen one yet I can't find the latest listing on this website. https://angel.co/

I'm not vouching for them but check it if there are ideas that suit your expansion. And you might as well get your .com domain if you're planning to go international or those country domains for those targeted countries of your expansion.

Hi,

Thank you for the advice.

We plan to launch in both country with a different domain. For Indonesia, actually we plan to take over a minor Bitcoin .id blog and then build that up. The owner is willing to sell it to us.

In Italy we have few .it domains reserved already.
Nice, so it has been well planned at all. You have already the experience and you're getting a huge traffic so that shouldn't be a problem. I just thought that you haven't looked at it but, I'm wrong and you're already doing it as a good sign of your start.

You can also conduct a public announcement that you are in need of investors for the expansion that you'll do on your website. I think there will be countrymen that will show interest of investing prior to your expansion.

Hi,

Thanks. Planned, but still in baby step mode. To be frank, I never worked with investors and not willing to sell my soul, not even sure how things go.

We hinted to our community that we are planning an expansion, the reaction was mildly positive. About my countrymen showing interest...well...heh...Hungary where we operate...sounds harsh what I say, but I am more afraid of them than wolfs Cheesy I would rather prefer international/regional co-ops, that is why this angel.co seems interesting platform.
Angel  co is a nice venue to get angel investors and since your project is already functioning but need to be expand they will be interest in it but you still need to legal advise about to work with investors even if the investors are from your local community in Hungary. However, you can also try the Italians and Indonesia local board on here while your team that reside there organize a physical meeting.
