821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rival to IOTA on: February 15, 2018, 02:32:41 AM
IoT chain announced that they recently launched their yellowpaper on Github. They are known as the IOTA of china. What do you guys think of their tech??

yellowpaper - https://github.com/IoTChainCode/Documents/blob/master/ITC_YELLOW_PAPER_DRAFT.pdf

cmc - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iot-chain/
So, what's different with those are comparing ethereum with neo as the chinese ethereum? But the fact that neo is not a rival of ethereum itself. It looks good but remembers IOTA has so many bug. And IOTA is not the only one DAG system coin. Byteball which more mature than IOTA and Raiblock as the alternative DAG coin for IOTA. I think that it will be so difficult for IoT chain.
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Tether and why is it so stable? on: February 15, 2018, 02:29:21 AM
Whoooaaaaahhhhhh, stay away from usdt.

As people have said, it is supposedly tied to the US dollar.
They claim that every tether is backed up by real USD and you can liquidate your tether anytime.

The problem is...you can't.
The "exchange" (just their website) won't allow for exchanges because their bank isn't accepting international wires or something.

On top of that, just think about it, if the price is always a dollar, why does it rise the ranks of coinmarketcap?
Because they are literally minting HUNDREDS of millions of tether.

Are you going to tell me that they just suddenly got their hand on hundreds of millions of dollars last January?
No, they are trying to make money out of thing air.
The most logical thing is, they don't have real usd to back everything up.
About the reserved of tether company to backed USDT to get stable value just like the dollar and it's still in the audit process. But much bad news said about that. There is no differences between tether company and bankers. They can print it anytime as they want. many people are realizing about the irrational growth of tether from 350 million tether to more than 2 billion worth of tether.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 things you might want to know about ICO's on: February 15, 2018, 02:04:29 AM
Good read about ICO's: https://blog.polymath.network/10-things-you-might-want-to-know-about-icos-a74a571744cd

I think this is a good indicator of the future of crypto and ICO's. What does everyone think?
LOL that's obviously true if that article is only to yelling polymath. I was reading all of the words that have been written by polymath developer. I think that there are no differences between polymath and another security project. It's all look the same. It may better to register polymath to the sec and we will see what will be called by SEC?
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will IOTA be next ethereum ??? on: February 15, 2018, 01:59:03 AM
IOTA will not be the next ethereum because they are completely different things  Grin

But, I am assuming your question is about the value of IOTA.

To that, I can finally confidently say:

No way.

Look, IOTA is buggy as hell.  it's been around for a year and a half and it still doesn't even work.
IOTA fan boys will say, "You just don't understand it!" or "Give it time, it's still developing."

Well, I can tell you of some projects that do the same thing as IOTA, and they can do it NOW.

Nano, byteball, even the shitcoin nyancoin works better than iota.

At this point, they will never catch up to other projects.
IOTA shills will never try to say that iota as a bad project. They are all yelling iota as the best payment system in the world. I meant a world of illusion. I remember when a lot of iota fanboys are spreading bullshit about DAG system will take over the blockchain system. but remember that's only worth to be the actual payment system and there is no more advantage from there.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Down on: February 09, 2018, 10:54:09 PM
Seems like binance.com is under a DDOS attack . But us.binance.com and kr.binance.com works fine . I hope they will solve this problem tommorow
DDOS attack for what? the binance didn't get any attack related to the ddos attack. The binance stated about the exchange get some troubles on the technical problem but the team doesn't give the more explanation about that.
This seems pretty odd in my opinion. How these people are worrying about what already did by binance. Even speculator just like mcafee said binance have been hacked.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOKEN TO ETH on: February 09, 2018, 03:09:36 AM
Do I need to change all my coins to ETH or hold the coins until their price go up? What will be the best option for now?
Just keep all of your tokens, but you can try to liquidity some of them into ethereum to get the more guarantee for your asset. As far as i can see about all of the markets in the green area. You should not feel worried about that.
I think that the price all of your coins will be going up asap. You just need to become a patient person.
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UCOIN CASH ICO - CAN NOT WITHDRAW BACK MY BTC on: February 09, 2018, 03:06:37 AM
UCoin Cash are thieves, liars and bastards! They have held my ETH hostage on their site since I unsuccessfully tried to buy their stinking Coins in their initial ICO 3 months ago. I check daily to see if things have changed but they continually make feeble excuses as to why they are not releasing my and other customer's funds. There is no excuse. The plain truth is that UCoin Cash is a scam. They are a pack of lying bastards. I wish I could meet up with any of the faceless gutless bastards as I would kick the shit out of them!
I have tried writing to their support but they don't even bother to answer back. They are faceless untouchables. They have us all over a barrel and know we are powerless to do anything. They know they hold all the Aces.
So you have been warned. DO NOT GO NEAR UCOIN CASH. You will lose ALL your money because the site will fold but rest assured your money will be safe IN THEIR HANDS!!!!!!!!!

Same thing! Still waiting my ETH to cashout.
Seems bad, but maybe i can still get my ETH back
It's confirmed as a scam project which works on the lending platform. A lot of my friends can't withdraw all of their money from there. Basically, those scammers were locked your amount on that site or maybe they have done something with it. Majority of ucoin cash participant still didn't get anything from that.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: February 07, 2018, 11:01:08 PM
Well Refereum has 100k users and was the main reason why Telegram had to up the group limits. So I guess the question is: Is Refereum the best ICO ever launched? Short answer..no.

Plus, many telegram groups build their user base from scam airdrops and contests and then change the name of the Group after, so numbers can be very deceiving. Just saying...

On the other hand, Polymath had capped at 50k users when that was the limit and they didn't even have an ICO and their launch was pretty epic so far if you base success off token price.
I'm not sure about all of telegram users are real humans. Sometimes the telegram can be manipulated to reach a lot of attention from the crypto users after seeing about a telegram group with a lot of people already joined in it.
I seem some icos that reached more than 50k users in the telegram too but i can take an example for that. Gonetwork is having so many people in telegram group but not all of them are a real person. This can't be a good measure to define how good ico itself.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: February 07, 2018, 10:53:27 PM
This is normal if alts become red when BTC soars, but when the fork ends, I will green again so I suggest to take advantage of this situation and buy alts. There is no loss if you do not sell. in essence, keep holding, do not be a weak hand and you'll be fine
There is no fork agenda, all of this not related to any fork agenda. Are you nut? A lot of people aren't talking about fork but all of this caused by massive FUD to the crypto while at the same time i was also seeing about the fact there is no a lot of FOMO news to counter FUD.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coins for staking? on: February 06, 2018, 10:55:51 PM
Neo and waves. You'll thamk me later. There are others but these are the best ones in my opinion.
Waves are not a staking coin. NEO still the best staking coin right now. My thought that about neo doesn't need a lot of amount or minimum requirements to staking your money in the neo blockchain to earn emission. If you are using masternode coins just like pivx and dash. That needs you to complete the requirements to become the masternode, and you will be able to receive your emission after you already become the masternode.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worth buy XRB (RaiBlocks - Nano) at the moment? on: February 05, 2018, 10:50:03 PM
Been buying a lot of different coins at the moment, XRB being one of them definitely think it has potential, but looking more medium to long term.
The only potential thing from nano was becoming instant payment transaction but i'm not sure if there will be another advantage from the nano platform. Some platforms offer various development feature on their platform.
DAG is different with blockchain and the development may different with it. And you must remember it.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins the future of cryptocurrency? on: February 05, 2018, 10:30:08 AM
If you look at Coinmarketcap figures, there is a steady secular drop in bitcoin market cap as opposed to alt coins. Ether which was the main  contender seems to have plateaued. There is a steady rise in other altcoin dominance.

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/
Now total market capitalization peaked at 800 billion sometime in Jan. This has dropped to approx 500 billion since. In December Bitcoin briefly reached 60 percent in market dominance. I think it was due to the influx of new players who joined due to the hype. After a quick drop we are seeing Bitcoin drop to around 34 percent of the market. Now the question is whether this will further drop. If it will drop who will be the new contenders. In all likelihood we will have a slew of new small currencies replacing the giant Bitcoin, each with a market cap of around 3- 4 percent. But that will mean that Ether and perhaps Ripple will be less important. I am not saying the price of either will go down, but that they will be less dominant in the whole market.
More and more people are interested to create their own platform with only a better on its scalability rather than ethereum and bitcoin. But i don't care about their scalability but i just try to see what was the development progress and future roadmap.

Bitcoin domination has been eating by small cryptocurrency. This will still continue. As long as bitcoin can grow more and more and there would be no problem with it.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins use Ethereum Platform? on: February 05, 2018, 10:26:07 AM
I was curious about certain coins like edgeless which is a casino coin.  I read that its the first casino coin run on the ETH platform.  If thats the case, wouldn't that mean in order for a coin like edgeless to success, ETH has to go up?

If so many of these coins use ETH... wouldn't that mean betting on ETH is a smart bet?
Ethereum has been going up since there should be so many companies are using its infrastructure for the majority of their platform. But the best part about ethereum was already used by globally.

As far as I understand about edgeless are using ethereum to be the main platform caused by it provides good popularity and demand but remember edgeless is not the first but vslice it is.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Censors Cryptocurrency Ads on Search Engines and Social Media on: February 05, 2018, 10:21:48 AM
It will not be different with what already done by facebook to block all of the ads related to the crypto companies. I can understand that seems a little bit strange but remember about the fact that doesn't give a lot of impact to the crypto.
Majority of crypto companies are avoiding those investors from china. It doesn't matter how China will try to ban it, but that will become another useless thing because they are joining in ico caused by their itself.
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please help me i want sell all altcoin in less 1 month on: February 05, 2018, 08:17:05 AM
hi guys i hope you are fine in bad days !
i want sell all altcoin and i can wait only 1 month ! because i need money and i must change to cash..
so i waiting for next 1 month and sell then or i sell now or soon?because i dont want lost more again
may market crash again china holidays ?
i have ark stratis lisk waves etn etc adx and litle qtm gnt
so what i do ?
The best thing for you to liquidate a half from all of your portfolios. What will be happening if in the next month the crypto will be recovering again? Because if you have done to cut loss all of your investment and you will get a bi lost and it will never be recovered again. Remember about that. But if you need money and just send all of your coins to the big exchange site and then you can try to liquidity all of them instantly just in a second.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking about altcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 01:23:14 AM
I noticed some altcoin in coinmarketcap, and I see the coin keeps going down, which I ask, will the coin be lost if the price keeps going down, or will it not go away and the price will go up?
Did you mean these coins will have died if the price will still be doing down? But remember all of these coins were starting from nothing to something. It doesn't matter where crypto goes.

There a lot of people are talking about various FUD attack crypto right now.

We have been surpassed good momentum of crypto, and then we will see another bounce again to the ground.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum reach the top? on: February 02, 2018, 01:19:20 AM
I wouldn't underestimate NEO either. More and more ICO's are going on the NEO blockchain and I don't think that will stop any time soon. With that being said however, Eth will still have seniority rights imo.
Neo is still going down straight with major crypto just like ethereum and bitcoin. I couldn't be predicted something about that. But more ico goes to the neo but in another word, ethereum raised more interest in the blockchain development.
Rather than see bitcoin at the top and it may better to see ethereum at the top and second will be neo.
A lot of people being so mad caused by india fake news and tether.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: INDIAN FUD is FAKE - There was no reason to panic on: February 02, 2018, 01:15:03 AM
Are you sure it’s a fake news almost all Indian news papers are reporting that India ban cryptos.
Read this dude. https://cointelegraph.com/news/india-bitcoin-prices-drop-as-media-misinterprets-govts-regulation-speech It may help you a lot.
People are feeling panic caused by so many FUD in these days. I remember yesterday bittrex released a statement to change all of USDT pair into the real dollar pair. Until the audit for tether will have done in the future and bittrex may stay in real dollar pair.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherbots: Decentralised Robot Wars on Ethereum on: February 01, 2018, 03:24:44 AM
I like the idea that you are adding more interactive elements to this idea such as building, customizationS, etc. I believe many will enjoy this level of functionality and I think it has so much to offer this market. I think it also allows so much room to grow and evolve.

Do you have any features you're thinking of adding later on that aren't formal and may actually never make the final cut?

Hmm. Extensibility is hard due to the nature of immutable contracts, but yes. However, they will have to conform to the interface defined within the existing contracts.

Some current ideas are:

- Different battling modes, i.e. tournament people can sign up for, winner takes all
- Staked battling

Exciting ideas, which features will attract so many people in the future. But' can you tell, Do this game can be played like a conventional game just like walking war robot.

As far as I know from my experience with crypto kitties and after some days played it and it makes me bored.

There is no usefulness to own a kitty.

I can't do anything with it.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop or Fork asking Private keys on: February 01, 2018, 03:19:37 AM
I came through one airdrop where they asked for private key and later they told that it was a typo for public key. But, still if one loses the private key he/she loses the account.
Sure, the private key can't be changed that means those are putting their private key to such scam site already confirmed to lost all of their funds in their wallet.  The private key is a sensitive part.
That's why so many scammers are using phishing method to scam or steal other's private key. Be careful with your private key.
