821  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 21, 2023, 03:23:02 PM
If you don't mind sharing, how much is your total winnings from the hourly faucet of Freebitco?
I stopped claiming faucet on their site after getting that big win and was on a hiatus from the site. Hence my total faucet winnings are a little bit above that big win amount. Its not much and I occasionally play the free rolls on their site when I can, something around 0.313BTC if I recall correctly.

I am currently earning well from their investment scheme of BTC. Dont target these rare numbers, you will get frustrated. Try your luck but dont get obsessed over them.

Congrats to the HI roller. I am also about the same age on the freebitco but never got the opportunity to roll for a $200 prize.
I am not sure if that qualifies as a high roll, because it takes zero wagering for the free rolls.
822  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cfoptionnetwork - Ponzi scheme on: December 21, 2023, 03:14:34 PM
Someone claiming to be able to make 70+$/day? May seem plausible but after seeing the rest of their offerings, I am well convinced that the schemes are ponzi and the money if sent is on a one way ticket out of your pocket.

The newbies who might be settling for these investments can make sure that sending the money on these sites and dropping the money in the middle of the ocean has no difference.

Flag supported from my end.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 20, 2023, 04:56:21 PM
Predictions in the departmental WA group sounds fun and adding a prize on top of that is what makes it competitive. That is the driving force behind the risk taking attitude and hence gambling. The way to make a game popular is to make it look like you are competing with other people and hence put up a scoreboard system or a community ranking system. That way every player feels that they need to beat the person ahead of them and they will continue to play and remain addicted to the game. It is how the mind works.

It should be fun as long it is kept under control that subscription price is kept reasonable enough with everyone donating the pot.
824  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining’s comeback in China on: December 20, 2023, 04:45:04 PM
.. especially since I believe that the laws in China are strictly implemented.
Which is what I have been thinking since the day this thread was first posted. China is well known for its laws and habit of controlling everything that its citizens do. Hence if mining is illegal people would not dare to run it underground. However I am not aware of insider details, I would assume that the people there would be terrified of resuming mining even after a ban is running and think twice before re-starting if the ban if lifted.

Such a news article will make no sense until the ban is actually lifted.
825  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 20, 2023, 04:37:24 PM
Yeah, winning a freebitcoin faucet's top prize is a random event and you need to be too lucky to win it. Personally, I've also never hit 10000 and I'm pretty sure there are users who have been clicking the roll button since 2013 and still haven't managed to win that prize at least once. The funny thing is that $200(in sats) could have easily turned into ~$21k if TheUltraElite had held it until Bitcoin's all-time high in 2021.
Who said anything about selling? Tongue

I havent sold much of my coins yet, maximally less than 0.1BTC if any. I mostly invest my coins in casino bankroll recent or trade with them. Definitely holding them and majority of my campaign earnings too.

We are bitcoin maximalists, selling is a term we are not really familiar with. Grin

But I do agree that my luck was high and being able to hit that number in a course of 5-6 months was super lucky.
826  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Funds withdrawn from Stake without 2FA. on: December 20, 2023, 04:33:36 PM
Case seems pretty puzzling to me as to how the hacker got access to your account. But we can only do so much as speculate and rule out the common causes. In depth investigation can be done from the Stake's owners side and thus I would advice the OP to PM Stunna and wait for them to respond to the thread.

Hoping Stunna/Mladen/Eddie to respond soon and the case to get resolved. Once again, sorry for the loss.

Side note - maybe dont use casino websites as wallets in future?
827  Local / India / Re: Future of Indian Economy on: December 19, 2023, 03:38:00 PM
A lot has to do with remittances and a major chunk of money is coming from Indian expats living in the Middle East.
So when are you moving to Dubai mate? Heard the middle east has majority of crypto players living lavish lives there running operations from there and making loads of money everyday including cars and girls Cheesy

Seriously speaking, I would go there just to make the money on a short term basis, send the money over to the family in India and come back to resume work here.
828  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: Do you know about bollycoin? on: December 19, 2023, 03:36:01 PM
I would never recommend anyone to buy NFTs like this.

Let it be about big celebs or bollywood artists, it does not make any difference. NFTs have been the buzz and have gone down the drain to make way for the next buzzword. Buy them at your own risk, I personally would not.

Sadly the OP of this thread has been away for some time. Hope they join us back soon.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 19, 2023, 03:31:04 PM
What have your experiences about this been? Is match fixing considered a common occurrence in leagues you place bets at?
In my experience fixing is way more common when it comes to district leagues, college leagues and small-cap games. Not the big ones that get broadcasted all over the globe to a huge audience. These small scale games are the bread and butter for many local bookies and fixers. They will make money from them and not do any other job at all - its the primary source of earning among other strongarming jobs.

Hence if you are betting on the big games, dont fuss about fixing much, keep your mind at ease there.
830  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Funds withdrawn from Stake without 2FA. on: December 19, 2023, 03:13:12 PM
OP sorry for your loss,

I read your post but I could not confirm whether you actually had 2FA on during this entire time - I assume you did, otherwise you would not be speaking of the same.

If there a chance the hacker got access to your Google account and cloud synced the authentication codes on their device? Of course you could get security emails if they did but maybe you overlooked?

Also you can check the previous IP locations of the logins on Primedice, I am not sure if the same exists in Stake, but I assume you already did that in case you want to take the legal route.
831  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 19, 2023, 03:03:11 PM
Well, if we must be honest with ourselves, then we all will agree that FreeBitco is a relatively small platform or casinos,

They are giving away a lot of money everyday and making huge amounts every day too. You can see the daily statistics on your account's and make a guess from there how much the site makes every day and pay out. Its not by any means small in my perspective. Better take a look before making such a comment.

I am sure they have been targeted by scammers and hackers too but they take measures to prevent them. Pretty much the biggest faucet out there.

I feel like some of my fav ANN threads like these are getting hijacked more and more by people who aren't even users!
Its common to see after a site becomes popular and keeps getting bigger.  Tongue
832  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC converge to ETH? on: December 19, 2023, 02:56:16 PM
But, the risk is that we are talking about something that would not be all that secure, it is quite secure right now, there are no problems, are we certain that it would be secure there too? Look at ETH, it took them 4-5 years to build something they are comfortable about, could we really do something like that for bitcoin which has even more transactions? I think that would be risky and we are not supporting that idea because of security reasons, not because of the system reasons.
Security reasons make shift to POS less likely to happen. The community does not like to play around with the blockchain's sanctity here. With a huge number of bitcoin users and sleeping happily on their coins to grow, you dont want the developers to make a decision that distrubs them, the aftermath will be devastating there.

We holders have our own saying for miners, but that does not mean that PoS is better or PoW is better. Each has their own pros and cons. But bitcoin is secure on the PoW. Let ETH run it on PoS and see how it goes.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC converge to ETH? on: December 18, 2023, 02:26:57 PM
Eh, this has been discussed at length previously.

Bitcoin is good with its Proof of Work system. You try to change that and you are going to question the sanctity of the blockchain here and lead to a apocalyptic mess. Not something I want to think of at all and neither does any of the stakeholders of bitcoin want to.

Thing I hate about Ethereum is its premine and its unlimited supply. Whats the point of holding a stash of ETH when it keeps on supplying more coins to the market every year? Your value will deprecate just like with fiat currency.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 18, 2023, 02:20:27 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.
The first five are EV- games and the next three are EV+ games.

However Expected value being positive or negative does not indicate the level of intelligence of a person.

In fact that intelligent person will not be the gambler but be the casino in order to make money. Cool

Maybe you are indicating that skill based betting means a person is intelligent - it may or may not be correct. They have the skills no doubt but luck is always there and your intelligence has no factoring on this. If that was the case then intelligent minds would have beaten every casino out there.
835  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My Dad got Crypto scammed (UFJPRO) on: December 18, 2023, 02:15:17 PM
Well the app looks like the ones where you appear to make a lot of money after depositing a certain amount but its all fake and made up. The moment you try to withdraw your inflated balance it asks for withdrawal fee or something in those lines. These are common scams where the scammer lures the victim to such an app and makes them deposit money there - try to avoid the direct asking for money line.

So firstly your did not get scammed by investing in crypto - in fact they never invested anything in crypto at all.

Either way, try the legal route, but chances of recovery are very slim. This event should make your entire family aware of how these scams run and how to avoid them in future.

You will always have people calling reputable sites scam for some random reasons; best is to not pay to much attention to it. Freebitco.in is the oldest faucet that is still running and they are still paying. To the best of my knowledge, I have never seen a legit scam accusation against them.
Even if there was a scam accusation and if it was legit, the owners would have solved it to the best of their abilities. Like any other casino running on this forum for traffic, they know that the crowd here is strong enough in their support and equally devastating enough if they mob up. Of course the second option will never happen that has been shown for the last 10years how legit a site freebitco.in is and continues to do so.

Certain nay-sayers come to the forum often, but lack the proof or evidence that is needed to accuse the casino.
837  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 17, 2023, 05:05:37 PM
If you win the $200 or top prizes on the free roll or anything else definitely post that here because its pretty rare and cool to see.   I have not yet won that but Iam due a win by all laws of probability, I will personally dig up Blaise Pascal and refute his theorem in person if he dont deliver soon.
It was back in October 2016 when I first started hunting faucets for the last 5-6 months and had joined this forum looking for more faucets to hunt. They were starting to become a bit of a bore when one fine morning I rolled 10000 on the free roll here. I was stunned and stared at the screen for few minutes before I could make out anything and the next thing was that I posted it here on the Gambling discussion section

Got 200$ from Freebitcoin today morning, call that a BIG WIN
838  Local / India / Re: Which of the following P2P exchange you trust? on: December 17, 2023, 11:19:21 AM
If you have BTC, and now you need money then there is no harm in selling it and that is what money is supposed to be used for.

BTC has potential to grow, but if you don't feed yourself today, then there is no point of hoarding the food for the next month.
Spend the BTC only in case you are in need of money. Otherwise hold the BTC because its potential to be huge in the future. Coming to the Indian context the lack of exchanges, huge taxation, its better not to sell at all. Use fiat money from your salary to pay for bills and keep bitcoin locked up for some betterment in future.

P2P is full of scammers, I dont know which one you can trust. With that, its better to wait it out.
839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 17, 2023, 11:15:47 AM
I sometimes kill time by watching blackjack games on the youtube channels of certain users who play it for fun with their own casinos or setup casinos. Usually involves live dealers and commentary from the players. Indeed its more fun to watch someone else play and lose money because you know that the money is not yours and no stress is on you.

Live dealer games have a different vibe indeed. Online games are fun too but but the ones with live dealers and real life brick and morter casinos will always shine desperately.
840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 11:06:10 AM
I dont have the gambling problem but I tried gambling a long time back and understood that the casino will win in the long run and the only way to beat the casino is by being the casino or by exploiting it. I would not recommend the second option because that is illegal but the first one is doable.

I have seen problem gamblers have difficulty in managing finances, relationships and goals. Its because their addiction is turning their lives inside out but this can be controlled by professional help and discipline. Thankfully today it is a recognized disease and help exists for those who need it.

For that the first step is always accepting that they are having a problem which they cannot control on their own.
