821  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Google Spreadsheet with some 2013/2014 difficulty estimates on: June 30, 2013, 04:18:19 AM

Interesting speculation indeed. Let's see how soon or how late hashrate is delivered by the major players in the next six months.

822  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is it worth it to get USB miner? on: June 30, 2013, 04:16:28 AM
It's a nice way to incrementally increase your hashing power to keep up with the increasing difficulty.  I think I'd buy and hold or trade BTC vs fiat if I weren't already mining and wanted to start.  If you're sitting on a ton of BTC, buying them and selling them on ebay or betting on larger scale asic rigs make more sense.  Most of us are not in that situation though.  My 0.02USD.

USB miners are somewhat of a novelty. However, at the current price, they may break even after a year. Maybe not. The answer to the OP question is that is in the eye of the beholder.

823  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Mint Race #4: great prizes from CloudHashing.com ! on: June 30, 2013, 04:13:47 AM
If only I could find a block with my 1.3 GH GPUs...

There is always a chance. I think I was down to 8 or 9 GH/s when I solved my block.

C'mon, the man's had a rough couple weeks, give 'em a break for now, eh?

Yea seriously.

Didn't mean to come across as an asshole. Apologies. Great that the DDoS protection has been implemented.

It has been rock solid since new DDoS protection implementation.

825  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auctioning 1 BFL Jalapeno 5+ GH/s on: June 30, 2013, 04:11:23 AM

827  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 30, 2013, 04:07:31 AM
ugh why did shares go up so fast? there goes my ideas for buying more with dividends Sad
ughhh can we stop the fast rise please!

Maybe it will calm down after dividends

Doubt it. Price should be volatile with USB stick miners temporarily out of stock. Then blades to be back in stock mid July to help hardware sales surge again!

828  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: June 30, 2013, 04:04:11 AM

Needed new post. Chart buddy three in a row is a little boring. Hopefully volume picks up next week. Upside or downside, I don't care. This is getting interesting.

CONFIRMED 150 USB MINERS AVAILABLE!

GROUP BUY CLOSES ONCE TIME IS REACHED OR 150 USB MINERS ARE SOLD!

Timer removed. End time: 2013-07-02+01:00:00

The first mass production batch (sapphire) has finished its PCB production and assembly today.

It has significant improvements in:

Heat reduction: 500-510mA (sapphire)

Stability: We stressed it with 9 Block Erupter USBs in a row without heatsinks heating up each other in a very dense USB hub with 25C without active airflow. No unexpected (non-probabilistic) HW errors ever happen.

Speed: This comes after better stability. Now the hashrate converges to its theoretical value of 336MH/s.

Appearance:
  SMT machine assembly (sapphire)
  heat-sink front-case 2-in-1 logo-ed (sapphire).
  LED added.

Ordering:
Send payment for amount of miners ordered to the common payment address at 16qMbvYmbm7n1CPHT415DRX4JPrn3KEZHp
Only send payment from a wallet address you control. PM me your full shipping address along with your transaction id from the payment you sent.
Please post in this forum in this format: <forum name>; <number ordered>; <total paid>; <payment address>; <list any optional insurance purchased>

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDERS! I HAVE DONE MULTIPLE AUCTIONS AND OTHER TRANSACTIONS ONLINE. I WOULD BE HONORED TO GET AN ASICMINER USB MINER OR MINERS TO YOU AT A GREAT PRICE! PM ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER!
831  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2 Block Erupter USB Starting Bid 0.85 BTC! per miner Ends 6/28/13 11:59PM CST on: June 30, 2013, 01:10:13 AM

Both miners shipped earlier today! Tracking numbers to be PMed shortly. Thank you. Please watch the forums for my new group buy. I am ordering 100 minimum (50 or more for myself). Also, watch in the next 7-10 days for more auctions of USB Miners!

832  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 29, 2013, 07:52:34 PM
OP Updated

If you reach the total volume of 1,000 USB sticks, price is dropped to 0.89 each. We will also pay back the price difference of all your historic transaction (timeline started from the 0.99 pricing) of USB sticks. For example, if you bought more than 1,000 sticks, 500 for 1.99 and 500 for 0.99, the new price will be 0.89, and we will pay you the price difference for the 0.99 USB sticks, that is (0.99-0.89)*500=50BTC.

Sorry for the original ambiguation before that misled some customers that the price difference we pay back is 1.0BTC. What we expected to say is for the price difference based on both new prices.

friedcat - I wish to order 50 USB Miners from you direct but have had no reply to my two emails and a PM. I understand you are very busy but I really would like to make a purchase from AsicMiner of 50 USB Miners. My PM that was sent to you includes my email address, phone number, and other identifying information for shipment. Please PM me where I send my bitcoin payment to complete the process. I will send payment on the 5th of July. Anyone else that would like me to order for you, send me a PM and I will try to get them for you at my cost plus shipping.

Thank you friedcat for a reply.

friedcat - Please contact me. I would like to order more than 50 now! Thank you!

Thank you for the PM friedcat. Payment being sent on Friday the 5th of July.

So is it safe to come back yet ? Stability improved ? Have been hanging out on BTCGuild for a week, and starting to miss you guys...
The commentary is fun, DrHaribo  Tongue  I wonder if micheletegon will bring their hashing power back to try and reclaim #1.

OMG. I actually created a block after I lowered my hashrate here by auctioning off multiple USB miner sticks lol Cheesy

800 in stock and 0  FOR INTERNATIONNAL ORDER. COOL
WITH AMERICAN IT S ALWAYS THE SAME. do you think dificulty + delay for delivery.
internationnal order never receive before 2  or 3 week now = dont buy this.
what do you wait to answer to your PM HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??, since 3 days now

It is not trivial to ship internationally from the US.  It is SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive, takes more time, and requires extra forms/labels to print for customs.  I am not stocked/prepared to handle international orders at this time, which is why the news section, and posts in this forum, have stated that International Orders will likely not be available until at least July 5th.  I did not respond to every PM I received about international orders (though I did respond to MANY) about it because I have already stated it will not be ready/available for at least another week.

+1

I have done transactions prior on ebay and elsewhere outside of bitcoin. Preparation is key. If you are not in the US, why not join a group buy, start a group buy, or list a price in the forums that you are willing to pay to have X amount of miners delivered to you. eleuthria will be very busy getting these orders processed over the weekend. Trying to add international shipping simultaneously would be madness. Give him a week or two and I bet he will be ready.

The BitInstant bank option disappeared....

Or I'd buy 30 more lol
you might want to look into http://www.btcquick.com/  a forum user Ascention runs it, his profile is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=70541
he's PM'ed me recently asking to be mentioned on the group buys.  he himself was a buyer on my group buy.
let me know how it works for ya!
btcquick works good in a pinch. coinbase works great on price if you can wait about 4 business days for an ach to clear.
