821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: March 31, 2020, 07:06:03 PM
Goodmorning, i’m not new in the world of crypto but I never did an investment for lack of money, but now I recived a good amount of money and i want to buy&diversify my portfolio.
So I just bought a Ledger Nano X and want to know which are the best project to invest.
I always look with interest at $GNT, for their great  idea of decentralizing computing and $BAT , and other suggest?thanks Smiley

If you think these coins are good. Buy it now. However, you must look at first Bitcoin. It is not yet clear where bitcoin price will go. If bitcoin dumps for any reason then you have the possibility to dump your altcoin huge. So look at the market now with a patience. If you think this is a good opportunity right now, buy it.

ScamVirus you are right, but I would add Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin, Monero, Waves, Tezos, before all others. List of good projects is long,
and each year it's getting longer. I am not against BAT or GNT, or any other project, but it's good to have some top coins in portfolio, before
you start investing in others.
Bearish period, it's good time for buying and holding! Patience is needed, I also think we will get out from this bad period and after that
we will see new bull runs!
822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoters still have a place on crypto world on: March 31, 2020, 04:43:47 PM
Many projects will refuse to launch because of the economy break down so ain't expecting any quality projects soon, the project's I promoted successful have already decide to continue development only after the crisis is over

I saw a couple of projects that did the same thing, they are paused until the coronavirus situation ends. I believe it's a smart decision to make,
not because of health reasons, they can work from home, but for financial reasons. Now it's not the time for risky investments as new projects are.
People hold what they have and in this dip people will buy gold or Bitcoin, something that has been around for years and in what they believe in.

823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here succeeded a friend to play online gambling now that casino are close on: March 31, 2020, 09:03:28 AM
This topic seems to get discussed alot in the gambling sections. Basically everybody thinks there is going to be tons of people going to crypto gambling casinos since they got nothing to do at home and they can't gamble at a real casino. While this is true and seems like a good way to build adoption, however most people fail to realise that there is a recession going on right now and many people lost their jobs.

It would be one thing if they were a new adopter to crypto and bought $50 worth or so as an investment and held. However with bitcoin casinos and gambling you know how it is. Usually the house wins and they run out of money. And for many they aren't going to be gaming with their savings unless they are some millionaire.

There are many different cases, but generally online gambling is gaining popularity these days more than before. Casinos are closed, but
many casinos have their site where people can continue to gamble online. Deposit and withdrawing fiat is not same for everyone, many have
problems because country laws and jurisdictions, while with crypto-currencies same process is easier.
Hard times for many people, but not for all. Some will stop with gambling activities, new people will get in, but online gambling will gain
popularity in these times. I don't plan to stop with my gambling activities.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 31, 2020, 07:30:36 AM
Price is dumping again and now BTC is trading around 4800$. It’s very possible to hit again below 4000$. If Btc will not recover soon from current price to above of 5000$ we can it will hit again to 3884 even less. I can not understand actually what are happening with markets.😥

Everything is obvious. All markets are in recession, and the cryptocurrency market is with them.

If prices fall, large market makers sell their assets, then they believe that it is more profitable for them than trying to keep the price at a level,
because in the end, in a panic, they will sell bitcoin in the first place turn to save the value of other assets.

Can't agree with that, if crypto is with them, so crypto should drop easily because we are connected with the stocks.

I guess what is happening right now will explain that crypto are not correlated with stocks, we have some good uptrend today, and that's the beauty of crypto as it rises even when there is a global crisis.

Botnake you have a point, crisis is everywhere but crypto-currencies gained few points in the last couple of days. People make connections
between stock-market and crypto-market, I believe that people sell one to buy other, and otherwise, money is flowing from one to other and
that is normal. We all read here buy the bottom, someone need to sell something in order to buy something else.
Bitcoin is holding the level over $6k, can this be a new bottom?
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: March 30, 2020, 07:56:24 PM
One coin to invest is the real trouble here, not which one to pick. No matter what people give you an answer, it will be a wrong one because you will eventually lose it all if that coin goes to waste, you can always be wrong, aside from bitcoin there is absolutely no coin that can't go to zero.

Definitely, there is a very very small chance that ethereum goes to zero, but even that has it, all the other top ones like ripple may go to zero, look at ripple company they have done so many shady and scammy things, they are still high because they have a HUGE community buying, look at BCH they have jihan wu and roger ver keeping it alive, look at BSV, it is all craig thats holding it alive.

Basically, all coins could go to zero, you need to diversify and have bunch of them to make sure you don't go broke.

I fell a lot of negativity in your comment! Risk exist, nobody can't deny that, but I doubt that any of the top coins, with many other
alt-coins, will go to zero just like that.
I believe that every person involved with crypto-currencies more than a year have more than one coin! We start with one coin, but
soon we start to discover crypto-world and we get in other coins too. Who start for the first time should start with Bitcoin or Ethereum,
after that other will come definitely!
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 30, 2020, 05:46:35 PM
I just found a very good book, skimmed the book and I'm surprised how deep the problems are for the addict.
https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783319624846

I think this book will be my current reading material. I'd suggest those who are gambling addict to seek for professional help, and not just follow the common sense methods.

One thing that I remember is "I can control the urge thus no problem" mentality should be changed to "it may already destroy me without me noticing" mentality.

I'll tell more when I finish this book.

But we need to have a control! Without control chances to become an addict are higher. Having control doesn't mean that you gamble
just couple hours weekly, it means you have a control over your wallet and your needs, you know how much you have and how many you
can spend for specific need. When you have a control you will not allow yourself to get into a problem, you will prevent that in the beginning.
Happy reading, and I hope we will hear more about that book!
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: March 30, 2020, 02:50:40 PM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

In my opinion bounties should be long! When something is new, time is needed for people to pay attention on that,
long bounty campaigns are good because sooner or later word about project is spread everywhere.
I think duration and organization are important. Projects should split their funds in that way to have longer but lower
paying campaign, than to have short and high paying campaign. When it's short it can spread same when it's long.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: March 30, 2020, 11:45:57 AM
all of them have projects and are in good development, it could be potentially very large. but I think bitcoin is still a very potential investment asset this year and for years to come. because bitcoin has become the parent of the crypto market, where the trend always starts from bitcoin. that is, the possibility of the fastest increase occurring is in bitcoin, and the percentage increase in bitcoin will also be higher than other altcoins based on what ever happened. but you have the right to choose, etherum or BAT is also good and has good potential too.

I definitely agree with you Fuer44, Bitcoin is still the best investment, all other are behind Bitcoin. In years to come Bitcoin
will remain number 1.
Article is good, writer pointed that people should do their own research before investing, he made a difference between
smart-contracts, payment and crypto-currency ecosystems, exchange protocols, and he gave his opinion about his favorite
projects for each of them.
I like the list, I have 9 coins from this list, and I would like to get in some others. I did my own research but I don't have
enough money to buy them all from once.
829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: March 30, 2020, 09:35:31 AM
If you are a online gambler then what's the difference between playing after the outbreak and now?
We could still gamble now so why wait for the outbreak if you would just gamble?
I think if you couldn't gamble now then it wouldn't change after the outbreak we would need to recover first before gambling.

Bhabygrim I agree with you, there's no difference for people who gamble online, and all crypto-gamblers play online, there's
no real casino where we can play with crypto-currencies. We who gamble with crypto-currencies we will stay the same, doing
what we do.
Now only sport betting suffer, all games are canceled, and we who like sport betting we will need to wait for virus situation to
end, but in meantime we can play other gambling games as usual.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 29, 2020, 11:54:13 AM
The process is very important, that's what will determine if the outcome will be good or not. So if you do a good process, a good outcome should follow otherwise it will lead to frustration. That's why both are very important. People keep trying lotteries because they believe they will win.  Even if they lose they will still play.

The problem is that there is no process in gambling. No matter what you do, you will never know whether you will win or lose. In games like gambling where luck matters most, the process has zero value. All the value is about the outcome and if the outcome is a Win, then you are happy and good to go.

Gambling is a process, maybe not good one, or the best one, but it's some process, we can't deny that. Journey is more important
than goal, you need to have some fun if you decided to gamble, whether you win or lose, and if you gamble you will encounter both
it's gambling after all! Enjoy the process, we like to win and we play to win, and it's nice when we win, when you lose you try again
to have the same feeling when you win again. In many ways that build your character!
831  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 29, 2020, 10:20:47 AM
Because bitcoin is not correlated with stocks or the government fiat or monetary system so we are not affected.
The government are printing infinite cash, this isn't good and the people would feel this in the future and money will just inflate.

In terms of investment, bitcoin should save the fiat from falling, so people should not be putting all their money in the bank, instead try to invest it, grow it and maybe put it in crypto so its value will not be lose.

The crypto market is strong, it going to be successful in the long run as people will realize and consider it as a good store of value and adoption are growing too.

We all saw what President Trump signed, more cash is coming! I believe that will lead the fiat economy into a crash,
and that is the moment where crypto-currencies will step up and save the day.
Fiat economy is unsustainable, and that is visible now more than ever before. I believe in crypto-currencies more than
I believe in fiat, I am buying when ever I can, and I believe that crypto-currencies will get out from this much stronger!
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH might go down below 80$ on: March 28, 2020, 06:13:20 PM
And what can we do about that? Nothing, if Ethereum is going below 80$ it will go below, we can do nothing about that, we can't change
the price direction. Some people can abandon ship, others can use that opportunity to get in. I know I will buy if price go so low.
Some people take volatility to emotionally. It's not good to mix emotion and investing or trading. I believe in crypto-future, and I don't get
stressed in hard times, I use them in my advantage if I can.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency price is coming back. on: March 28, 2020, 09:49:24 AM
I have to picture it out that we are moving into market recovery at this time. Its price movement is noticing that we even improve from $4k to $6k plus for Bitcoin, gonna have to see a positivity that we fall back high to $7k a couple of days from now. Though we are not sure of that because of its volatility but something to see that the inclining scheme is meant to be great and I suppose to think that only a few Bitcoin holders are selling it at a low price.

Traders are in dilemma all the time, but some strong holders are not, we are buying when we can and we hold without
worrying about volatility. It's not a nice feeling when prices going down, but it's not the end of the world either, for some
investors and long-term holders it's a good opportunity for buying.
I believe that crypto-currencies will recover their previous ATH prices, and make new ATH prices. It will happen in the
future, we can hope it will be soon, but some of us are ready for waiting.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 28, 2020, 07:30:23 AM
corona viruses will create many people be jobless, their companies got direct impact from corona virus. product sold will decrease alot , since many countries strict import from another countries. in this condition , salary or income will not enough to fill their need, moreover for investment. if this condition continue , finance market will crashing again and market in the worst condition ever.
yes, of course the corona virus has caused losses to many parties both internal and external companies. the world is being haunted by the corona virus but if this virus can be resolved the possibility of stock markets and activities around the world will also return to normal again.

It took some time for the economy to recover as normal because world trade has fallen sharply at the moment because many countries are locking down. Manufacture needs time to produce goods and services, people need time to work as before, and I'm still optimistic that this outbreak coronavirus will quickly pass

Lexurdania we all hope that coronavirus will pass quickly. I am also optimistic, this chaos will pass and situation will go back to normal. That will
not happen right after, we have to be patient and now is the time when we need to be united more then we ever was before. People around should
forget about all disputes and start working together. Like that we will defeat coronavirus faster, and recovery will be faster.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 28, 2020, 05:29:40 AM
Based on what you have said, well dice games really doesn't suit you pal especially if you have a case like that - strategy-based games. I really can't help it but whenever I think of that word "strategy" something pops on my mind --- "Diner Dash" have you played that game? actually its a time management game but it might suit you well compared to any offline games , though my mom really likes it so maybe you can too Tongue Besides dice and roulettes aren't made to give a damn on strats so I might suggest that you stay away before it burns your pocket.

Just checked "Diner Dash", I never played this game. I like to play tower defense games when it comes to online games, but in recent times
I didn't play some good one, worth mentioning.
You can use strategies in gambling too, don't you think? I know that it can be risky, but I never gamble with more than a few dollars. Even if
I lose I can't lose much. And I think that I have a control, I don't gamble all the time, 5-10 minutes and I stop and move to something else.

836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 27, 2020, 06:45:40 PM
I bought a lot of new games from steam, just playing those games for now because there is really nothing to gamble on right now to me.
I already did the same, and guess what?  Its just been days and I'm kinda bored again,... Not allgames can provide what we need... Although it also depends on people on how they'll get used to it, especially most of users here are full time gamblers

This current situation can be a problem for full time sport bettors, that's true. If they didn't find any other casino game as replace,
they are probably on vocation from gambling.
I play dices and crash these days, and I play few games two. I'm a strategy type and I play Civilization, good thing about Civilization
is that you can play it for hours and to not notice that hours passed.
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the new method of "Initial offering" this year? on: March 27, 2020, 02:37:50 PM
Each time, it was precisely the new forms of fundraising that gained popularity. As long as they remained new, they brought income.
If you didn’t come up with anything new, why did you get the idea that the old IEO method will be profitable while now it is not.

TrevorS you are right, if projects together with exchanges don't come up with some new, and we can hope better way for raising funds
they will lose many investors. We can expect something new, and that is interesting for all of us, first there was ICO`s, IEO`s, STO`s,
what can we expect to be next? I have no idea, to be honest!
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus coin on: March 27, 2020, 09:02:09 AM
The worst part is people are falling victim to the coin, upon all the warnings, its better to ignore, those who fall will learn late on, newbies like falling for mistakes before learning I guess

Yes Ken_terrance, newbies fall on false promises and they lose money, it's the way for learning, it's how all of us gain experience.
Probably each of us made at least one mistake, smart people learn from that one mistake, some people need to make few mistakes
and only then they learn.
I saw advertising for Corona coin, it's disgusting that some people made this just to make financial gain while people suffer all over
the world. I hope that people will stay away from this!
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: March 26, 2020, 11:23:02 PM
to see ethereum reaching the price of $ 1400 is very little chance because I see ethereum very difficult to reach prices of more than $ 500 if we look at 2017 when bitcoin prices are $ 6k then ethereum prices are $ 600, so my prediction this year ethereum will only reach no less than $ 700
Firstly, i want you to understand that the previous year market conditions can not be use to judge the current market trend because the market is experiencing diverse of investors, enthusiasts and innovation. Besides, if you remember correctly lightning havent gain much confidence and support from crypto communities.
With that been said, lets just hope the covid-19 is control and you'll be amaze with the trend Ethereum market will posse.

Posi I think everyone here hopes that virus situation will end soon, only when it's end we can count on the price rise. Current
situation is not good for anyone. I agree with you that previous market conditions can't be used for judging this situation now,
many things are different.
I think that people should use this situation to buy more of their favorite coins, it's a matter of time when we will see some
rise and making new bottom, it that point it will be late for buying at this discounted prices.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Crypto recover from the most recent crypto dip? on: March 26, 2020, 07:55:46 PM
Article is good in general, but there's nothing special about it. Connection between S. Arabia actions with oil price, Japan stock-markets and
crypto-market without any proofs is just a theory. The same is with his explanation about why will we see recovery are in general too, except
hope I didn't see any arguments and facts.
I like articles where everything is well argumented and explained. This article is positive, but without any facts sadly, but I like it anyway
because I am positive about crypto-market recovery too.
