Is this a joke  I wonder why mods aren't deleting craps like these. Its totally unethical and must be illegal to sell forum accounts and sell them to a scammer who can later use them in ripping of users and abusing the trust system . One vote up for this thread to get deleted The mods allow it, because now everybody knows that it happens. Removing it completely is impossible and way to time intensive. |

We never heard of it before, are not affiliated with it in any way, and we have been working on Local Trader, and calling it by that name, since at least last summer. So, at best, this is a case of "Great Minds Think Alike," and at worst it's someone trying to ride on the coattails of our announcement. Ah, I see. Thanks a lot! Anyway, keep up the good work ^^ |

You can't. If you rename wallet.dat to something else then Multibit can't find it and thus "losing" your coins.

I just found a clone on Etsy. Their QR code doesn't have scan. The folks making these use Silver Plated, but they left the .999 Fine Silver on it. They are done in China (the wrapping on the one I bought was Chinese anyway). Maybe they don't read English? Seems like it. I just wanted to let you know that there is a fake on there  EDIT: Damn, $299.95 for the gold plated one. I wonder how much the 5 anniversary is worth right now. I just wish that I had a COA for it. |
