8201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Somebody paid $310,000 in transaction fee to send 0.1eth on: March 12, 2019, 05:15:13 PM
As far as I know, mining pools are waiting for the person who is responsible for this transaction to appear, they are going to return this money to him, if he does not appear, the funds will be divided between the pool members.

This is correct, I posted a link to an article 3 days ago in this same thread about Sparkpool. I've been watching the sending address and I saw some activity, so they have probably already contacted the mining pool? https://etherscan.io/address/0x587ecf600d304f831201c30ea0845118dd57516e

But before the crazy transaction happened, there were another 2 weird transactions with 210 ETH and 420 ETH fee and another one of 420 ETH fee after the 2,100 ETH..

Here they are:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x5691ddae752652bd579da5b45e84d5b90ae35acce5cbd308a1574c31f722608f (Block 7,238,273 mined by Nanopool)
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xcb59748b9b7b9732f04b66dde0009a1e4856a50ed8ff68a0dedbaa5e57807d31 (Block 7,238,275 mined by Nanopool again)
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x464e50e8ade15ad883f80fd173f6afd85efdf15413892625fe0146fbe5fecd92 (Block 7,239,021 mined by Ethermine)

Geez, And another one with 840 ETH fee:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xc3e6f47ffa1b1e0bf926d5727e1adedac595d24cc4fa9b2f271d35566fdaf8d6 (Block 7,239,023 mined again by Nanopool, lol)

What a bunch of lucky birds.. But WTF went wrong? Someone got drunk, crazy or hacked? Smiley
They are splitting the transaction fee 50/50 with the sender and the miners on the pool.
As shasan posted earlier with this link to the article source.
https://www.coindesk.com/sparkpool-splits-2100-ether-mining-fee-with-accidental-sender

What the heck did they do?
That was a huge money I am sure who ever made that transaction is so depress right now,
I mean look at how much money he/she have wasted ,
2100 ETH just to send 0.1 ETH.
It was an accident done by a firm in south korea according to the article above first posted by shasan as I found about the follow up to the story late last night and just remembered to post an update to the thread.
Of course the employee who did the error was fired.

Phoenix beating the warriors last night?
What has happened also with the bucks losing to the spurs? Embarrassed
I think now is not time to rely on the best in the east and top of the west to not be on their game with the remaining games left in the regular season.

GSW was great at the first quarter but it ended at 2nd where Suns gets it back in just a flash.
They have been quite sloppy with their plays and Booker saw that killing them with his accurate shots that is unstoppable.

Good defense back and forth and stops while GSW keeps on missing shots.
You cannot really tell by now what could be the outcome. Booker was so happy at the end of the game beating the number 1 team in the West.
Seems the bottom teams are playing these games harder then the ones who are on top of their conference knowing they already clinched a playoff spot. So why would they push their key players now and not save this energy when it will really counts? To fight in their selective conference.
Celtics lost last night and raptors the night before. So expect this to be an ongoing trend for the remaining games left.

8206  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ethereum Classic ‘Numbers’ Lotto on: March 12, 2019, 02:35:44 PM
..Ethereum Classic is somehow familiar to me,,if I remember,,I join their airdrop last 2017..but it is for coin listing and development,,i don't know if it reach its success..How is this game related to ethereum classic??
this is the one i'm refferring too.. https://ethereumclassic.org

ETC is the original Ethereum before it hardforked into the ETH we see today.
I think they chose ethereum classic because it is the original and mined on the chain which is somewhat less congested then ethereum(ETH) is. So it is easier to predict then that chain.
I know many more people are jumping on this chain since the update happened lowing the reward of ethereum given per mined block but ETC reward has not changed. It is still 4 ETC per block mined hence people not abandoning mining it like what happened at the beginning of the month to ETH.

8209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone in the world owned bitcoin each would have 0.003btc on: March 12, 2019, 03:12:21 AM
If you work on 21 million coins and a world population of 7 billion then it's actually 0.003 BTC per person or 3.0 mbtc.
I am afraid neither your grammar nor your calculus is ok.

ip finder
It is not based on 21 million bitcoin. It is on the amount of bitcoin that are currently in circulation.
If you cared to read the article of which I did not publish.
And the world population is closing in on 8 billion with 7.689 billion now.
What are you a bot account because you created an account just to post one message? Roll Eyes And what is with the ipfinder url? You hoping someone will click on it accidentally or something. Sad

Guys, he is saying it with an "IF".

But it's true that we're going to that point when each person owns a bitcoin 0.003 or higher, there would definitely a shortage that will strengthen the demand.
Yes. I said "if" as it is all hypothetically speaking.

8214  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: March 11, 2019, 11:20:46 PM
If I am calculating it right, @blackjack.fun hasn't been around for the past 3 weeks, that seems like a lot of time. I mean game is still working perfectly and everything seems to be in the right order so there is really no need for him to comeback right now unless someone has some issues that needs to be answered but until that moment he can stay quite however it still is something that is a bit worrisome.

Not because of something bad for us, I mean the game is still legit and works wonders so we the gamblers don't need him right now however I am worried if something happened to him or not, I hope he is fine, I am sure this is a much bigger than just one man product so even without the person who writes here the website probably will go on but I just hope to see him write here saying he is alright in health.
I would not think there is an issues with him since you can see he does log in from time to time last time being yesterday. But he doesnt have anything to say on the thread is all.
But he does have a signature campaign running so you know he does communicate with the one who manages it so to send payments to the campaigners.
If the site is running and there are no issues in logging in and playing on the site I dont see why he needs to say something on here.

Just when you think Kyrgios has got it together after winning the Mexican Open he goes and does something like lose in his match against Philipp Kohlschreiber. Not only that he got frustrated an angry during the match breaking his racket and even throwing his shoes into the crowd which I thought was funny but still he lost it once again. This is what Kemarit and I have been talking about on here for the past year, Kyrgios will never be a great player until he sorts out his issues.

And just now alexander zverev loses in straight sets. What is with these top seeded players losing all their games in this tournament?
I think just because I place alittle bet on them earlier yesterday they all have to fall over and get get hammered in their games. Roll Eyes
