In the case of some total natural disaster or big world war it could happen that Internet network would also be destroyed. But it's not only Bitcoin that depends on the Internet, there are many products, services and technologies that we use on daily basis and that are depending on Internet. In this case this would be a total disaster but I don't think that Bitcoin would become the main payment instrument, this is not its purpose.
But we cannot set aside the fact that Bitcoin has abig possibility to become the future universal currency. What should we do if that happens? Bitcoin as the universal currency then there will be total failure in the network internet. There is more disastrous matter than Bitcoin actually since it is not that widely used across the world but it is to be taken in account that it is indeed getting the attention of many day by day and realizing its edges and potential to the economical growth. As we know, Internet has been a great part on how the lives of humankind has changed that is in terms of economy, entertainment, and especially communications across the entire globe. It is hard to imagine actually the absence of Internet but the impact of it surely leave a huge dent to us. We might as well comeback with searching our assignments or anything through books, encyclopedias or to the library unless it is also destroyed by a natural disaster or big world war. The easy access of information and knowledge especially news in different parts of the world and the economical contributions that has been impart to different countries will dissipate which will result a decline movement of the economy. We should just hope that this will not happen as we see the potentials of internet that to be discovered and improved to the succeeding years which everybody will enjoy and benefit from it like for example Bitcoin. The New Generations right now will not be the same if there are no internet access or smartphone in their hands, they are totally blind if these kind of necessities would just go gone in an instant, but the oldies would just come back to their old doings just fine, and just like that if bitcoin users would don't have access with the internet I think their money will be gone forever, especially when they have convert all of their fiat for bitcoin imagine that then they would be broke in an instant, that is why I am just earning in bitcoin and just buy a couple of fiat for bitcoin and not all of my base earning are from bitcoin because I got my regular work! |

This is too far from happening here in my country but not impossible to happen. If they can implement this bitcoin as a payment then paying on restaurant is much easier and it is just like credit cards. Unless my country fully utilized the benefits of bitcoins then it will be a bigger help in other industries as well.
I don't think it will be much easier to pay in bitcoins on restaurant cause as you already know we are having a problem with confirmation time . Paying in credit/debit card takes a minute but bitcoin takes at least 3 minutes to confirm a block assuming that you pay a high priority fee . If the miner fee and confirmation time didn't improve itself, restaurants accepting bitcoin might be difficult to make it happen . It can totally have an issue just like that if you are gonna pay directly with bitcoin but I think they are aware of this problem and will think ahead of a solution for this kind of problem, but if not it is still OK if you convert your bitcoin with Fiat then your problem is solve, but regarding some restaurant or merchant that will accept bitcoin I think they have a solution for this! |

Well not all exchange rates sites, have the same bitcoin price but I think it depends on the service fee and the fee of their expense that compensate them that is why there are exchange rates like that, well I think they will settle some miner fees, investment fess, and they are not base on the same country I guess that is why I think that some are basing their exchange on the their currencies rates! that is what I think.

As many have pointed out the transaction confirmation takes too much times sometimes. Thats not the big issue but in the current state of being, but bitcoin can't afford to have a radically more adoption rate as it would create huge chokepoints in which confirmation time would take forever.
Happily widespread adoption is not yet in the near future so maybe the issue will be settled by then.
I would love to see this kind of issue have been settle right now, but I think it will take time and would take a lot of years so this kind of issue would not be an issue anymore! but even if some confirmation have taken forever to be confirm your bitcoin are still safe because even if they don't confirm it, it will eventually return to your wallet or the sender of that specific bitcoin so no worries, the real deal of disadvantage that I think are not all people has a guaranteed gonna use bitcoin because of certain issues they have regarding their connectivity with the internet, No internet No bitcoin. |

Yeah, but the ATH (all time high) was already broken, so the resistance area between 1280$ and 1380$ was broken. Now it probably became the support, unless the market is going to decide that BTC is currently overvalued, which may be likely in some scenarios, but I would still expect staying on the 1300-1330$ price range for a little bit longer time. As we can see, the price of bitcoin has became a little bit of stable, there are no such a big fluctuations as before. But as far as we know, the supply of bitcoin will stay the same and the demand is still increasing: so price probably is going to do the same. Anyway, I expect 2000$ per bitcoin somewhere at the end of the 2017, it is rather optimistic but as a BTC holder, I really hope this is going to happen  Yeah It is broken alright and it already gone to $1400 value mark, I would love to see the price to be stable up to the mid of may but I guess it can still go up to $1500 in the impending days ahead well we will see it for our selves,
That depends on what exchange you are using as basis for Bitcoin's value. The price is at $1400 and above in Bitfinex. Many traders use the price at that exchange as their base.
I am depending on the exchange value of the wallet I am using and searching it on the google currency converter well I have been to bitfinex once, but I am still preferring on the wallet that I am using. |

Firstly newbies always search how to get free bitcoin rather than start buying bitcoin and getting used to it. Since its practically not easily available to get free so people waste lot of time on those faucets, gambling etc and end up in a loss.
They are just a newbie, they don't have the money to buy bitcoins, I mean, most of the newbie here don't have the money to buy one, that is why they want to know bitcoin to earn money through it. But it would be better if you are going to buy bitcoin and hold it in your wallet 'till the right time comes when you could withdraw it. We've been all there, when we were just earning bitcoin through FAUCETS, and other HYIPs out there, we didn't know this Forum that time that is why, so, we don't have to blame the newbies if they do FAUCETS. I agree, I'm also a newbie that doesn't have enough money to buy my own bitcoin. If only I have enough money or other source of income, I will sure buy bitcoin and then keep it until the right moment. That was so very sad, getting your passphrase been lost and your bitcoin was so very secure that even you can not open it now, a year earn bitcoin and alts all stored and lock is this considered lost to even thought it is sealed and secure? because nobody can used it unless you could hack a secured data that needs a passphrase to be open, I can not think that mistake would happen to me I think i would also go crazy about it, I think you are feeling a multiple kind of feeling right now that could cause you some inner craziness inside of you, I think you should do is try every passphrase you can think off it might word, but depicting that you can come out of a one passphrase, only an idiot would manually type it!

Considering that bitcoin addresses get wasted and discarded like plastic bottles of water, is there ever a risk that we'd use up all the bitcoin addresses?
I realize the possible combinations is 36 to the power of 32, but I don't have a way to make sense of the resulting number. How many address are used in a day? How quickly are we going through these possible combinations?

Resistance are highly active right now and the $1400 value is very crucial the price value right now is $1342.95 I have never see it move by then, but bitcoin needs to be movable or fluctuating every time right but right now it just stay put in that value, and we should watch for A bounce off this near-term support could lead to another test of resistance or even a break higher for a steeper climb. Maybe $1400 would be acting as a strong resistance levels but I am sure it will get broken even in this weekend itself. I do see some big traders are booking profits around $1340 levels but momentum shows strong uptrend in coming days and it last up to $1550 levels too before making any U turn. As long as prices are trading above 200-days running average line, I am too very sure that bitcoin will be reaching $2000 levels in next 6 months or even quicker. We will see the result in a few months, and yes even if there are a resistant in reaching the $1400 mark it is still penetrable for bitcoin to go up ahead the value cap, but I am just speculating that there are still a resistance going on with this price cap, and it will still got it's hold in bitcoin for a day or weeks in my opinion but we will never know if it's gonna be sooner! |

At this moment I don't have but I am sure that this year I will own more than just 1 btc. I'm just 5 months old in the world of btc so it will take time. I know its difficult to make 1 btc but I know I can. I already have much information now thanks to this forum.
It is not difficult to get 1 bitcoin and earn it thru this year because if you will just keep exploring this forum or at least the ways of earning bitcoin then you don't have to worry about getting 1 bitcoin. For example, if you earn bitcoins in signature campaign then use it to invest like in trading or any kind of investment and just keep compounding until you reach 1 bitcoin. It is pretty much not that hard anymore to save bitcoin if you don't have any expenses to settle regarding if you only are acquiring money with bitcoin and you don't have other source of business to settle any expenses then you can accumulate 1 BTC faster but if the only work you can do to earn is bitcoin and no other job or business at your sleeves then I think it is pretty much hard to acquire bitcoin that fast. |

Ofcourse yes, bitcoin can be used to support terrorists. If you read the history of bitcoin you know that its transaction is anonymous its means no one knows who sent it. Unless he tell you that he will send you money. And we don't know that maybe the reason why terrorist have a guns and equipment is because of bitcoin.

I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Here in my opinion the best idea to accept the bitcoin is that they create and launch Thier own bitcoin wallet and made a rule that we are restricted to use only tat wallet or just resitered the adress that you want use with the ekyc verification . So in these both the case government authority will be able to trace our all the activities in the bitcoin and make it fully open and no black money like thing . And according to our earning in the bitcoin take the tax , in this way we can make earning legally and will support to the country by tax. Hopefully it happened , but I don't thin that all this is possible . Here the example of the Japan to accept bitcoin ad legal payment will surely made the change in the thinking of the government of the countries who didn't want to allow the use of the bitcoin .
