Bale available pa lang ang top up nila sa gcash at sa credit card pero pag tagal siguro maging sa mga tindahan n rin o mga convenience store. Halos nung Huwebes lang kasi siya nilabas

Ah, makes more sense. Wala kasi akong mahanap na information concerning top-ups. I might probably consider trying kung meron na silang top-ups through Coins.ph(because bitcoin).

Pano ka pala napadpad dito sa Gomo? Parang wala akong nakikitang marketing sa social media.

EDIT: LOL

8202  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bagong Digital Telco Gomo PH on: October 04, 2020, 03:35:52 PM
Very interesting model. Really attractive ung "no expiration" thingy nila, at the fact na pwedeng i sort of "swap" ung data.

With that said, parang wala akong mahanap na info tungkol dito: paano kung naubos na ung data balance? pano ka mag t-top up? Bibili ka nanaman ng bagong sim ganun? Wala sa FAQ section nila eh. If you think about it, maganda ung papalit palit ka ng number- in a privacy perspective. Pero kung may mga kapamilya kang through SMS at postpaid/prepaid calls ang pang contact instead of using social media? Sobrang hassle.
8203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cuong Truong version of Bitcoin logo on: October 04, 2020, 03:16:05 PM
So who is this "Cuong Vi Truong" guy and what's the point of cutting the BTC in 2 unequal halves? It ended up looking like a bootleg version of the dollar sign $.
8204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 04, 2020, 08:09:19 AM
But it not growing for the last 4 weeks. We need to fix this

There's nothing to "fix" necessarily. It's just that people haven't realized the importance of a disinflationary and permissionless currency. Though hopefully they will sometime in the future; though unfortunately most will realize it when it's already too late.

With that said, you can definitely help speed up adoption. Create a good bitcoin-related product that will help educate or make the lives of people better.
8205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: October 04, 2020, 03:40:33 AM
But maybe time is different. I did not believe btc will go up in 2018 when people saying like that. Now, People talk much about BTC will fill CME gap.

Well, that's the point. No one knows what will happen in the future, and bitcoin being somewhat "stable" and not dropping below a certain pricepoint in 2 months doesn't mean that it couldn't drop down that pricepoint some time in the future. Some people are really misunderstanding and making bad conclusions using this information.
8206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why only paypal and ebay? Why top tech companies do not open such platforms? on: October 04, 2020, 03:30:06 AM
In today's world, it is not difficult, if they make me their CEO, I will be able to do so.
People who have funds have no idea, people who have ideas have no funds. Thats truth.

It's easy to see things as a spectator saying that "if I was the owner I'd do x/y/z", but trust me when I say that these things aren't as simple as they seem if you're actually the one running the huge ass company that has crap ton of gears and moving parts. If you were the CEO, you might be able to make one, sure. But there's a big difference between creating a business, and creating one that could run successfully in the long-term while defeating your competitors.

There's a big obvious reason why they're CEOs of gigantic companies and we're not.
8207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone here who made good roi with defi? on: October 04, 2020, 03:27:02 AM
You are lucky making money on it and like you said many too would have lost their money. This kind of project for me are risky to invest on . 2017/18 was a lesson to many with the ICO hype. The DeFi also is looking like pump and dump. It could be better than ICO though because some ICO project never got listed.

It's because you shouldn't invest in it, you should just trade it. The money to be made on these defi crap are just short-mid term trades(same with the past ICOs), assuming you could time the trades well enough.
8208  Economy / Speculation / Re: On Trump COVID Announcement: Bitcoin vs Gold vs The US Stock Market(US500) on: October 04, 2020, 02:35:58 AM
For now.

If gold would be under similar political pressure as bitcoin is, or if there would be any threat that governments could make illegal to hoard it (again), it wouldn't act as a safe heaven either. Gold isn't better, it's just currently on good terms with governments.

Exactly my thoughts. If gold as a publicly traded asset was also only 11 years old, I'd assume that it would also be as illiquid and probably as volatile as bitcoin, and it wouldn't also be an effective economic hedge. We won't get to that stage with bitcoin in just a decade; it's going to take time.
8209  Economy / Speculation / Re: On Trump COVID Announcement: Bitcoin vs Gold vs The US Stock Market(US500) on: October 03, 2020, 04:17:58 PM
Also, since Bitcoin is mostly paired with USD the price is expected to fall down but if we compare it to another coin for example ether then there isn't much difference at all.

The below chart shows that the price hasn't changed much in the past 7 days when BTC is paired with ETH.

I mean, of course it doesn't, because most cryptocurrencies like ETH mostly follow BTC's price, not the other way around. There's a reason why almost every asset is paired with USD; and it's because it's one of the more sort of "accurate" assets to compare to, not like ETH which mostly follows bitcoin, and is a lot more illiquid compared to other assets.

By "main account" I meant the account na ginagamit na pangscam talaga. Para dun sa account na yun andun ung mga information tungkol dun sa inaalok nilang scam, tapos mga extra accounts ang gagamitin na pang spam sa mga posts dahil most likely mababan agad ung mga un, while leaving the "main account" at low risk.
8211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why only paypal and ebay? Why top tech companies do not open such platforms? on: October 03, 2020, 03:25:39 PM
It's simply because things aren't as easy as you think. Not because they have the funds that it automatically means that these companies' CEOs can just go "hEy GuYs LeTs JuSt BuiLd a NeW PaYpAL LUL" and compete against the other giants just because they can. I mean, the CEOs of these companies are some of the smartest and most talented people in Silicon Valley. If it was as easy as you thought, they would've built them already.
8212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone here who made good roi with defi? on: October 03, 2020, 03:04:03 PM
I could guarantee that a lot of people had made big bucks from trading these "defi" tokens; but I could also guarantee that a lot of people has been dumped on and lost a lot of money.
8213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is Kuailian? on: October 03, 2020, 01:17:01 PM
However... I've done my own due dilligence through Google and the opinions are Ok.
"Opinions" and/or reviews can easily easily be faked.

I browsed their website and look like a legit company; nice design, sound explanations.
A lot of scams has great website designs that at some point in the past I(a person who's greatly interested in good UI/UX) actually looked for these scams just to admire the design. Though most scams spew a lot of nonsense on their site, if this one has "sound explanations", then chances are, it's just one of those "better" scams.

I haven't really dug deep on this site yet so I can't make conclusions, but this statement from you automatically makes it super shady:
In short, you put some Ethereum (that's the coin they ask you) and it works for you providing some interest rate. They do their thing with your Ethereums, whatever it was. My friend showed me his statements and indeed he's currently winning 5,000€ aprox (he didn't try to withdraw his money yet).
8214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do i convert bitcoin into usd cash? on: October 03, 2020, 07:18:57 AM
Depending on what country and city you're in, probably your best bet to sell bitcoin for actual physical cash, is to look for bitcoin buyers on platforms such as LocalBitcoins[1] and HodlHodl[2]. If there aren't much sellers on these platforms on your city, try looking at local social media groups.

Madalas dalas nga ung ganitong kalokohan, halos lahat ng mga trending posts e may ganitong comment. Nakaisip sila ng paraan para maka spam without risking ung main account mismo.

Always make sure to take the extra 5 seconds to report these posts para mabawasan sana ang maperwisyo.

Unpopular opinion: Take some time and do your research instead of asking us here for investment advice. Investing in certain assets and investing in it's entirety is mostly subjective. What a good investment is for me might look to be a bad investment for you, and vice versa.
8217  Economy / Speculation / Re: On Trump COVID Announcement: Bitcoin vs Gold vs The US Stock Market(US500) on: October 02, 2020, 02:57:46 PM
Can it be said that the money that came out from stocks and Bitcoin entered gold?

Totally possible, but it's going to be hard to make such conclusions in cases like this, because of a few factors:

1. Probably only a minority of bitcoiners are actually interested in buying gold.
2. Not all stock market investors are interested in economic hedges, as I think most are interested in taking advantage of the uncertainty by buying value stocks.
3. It could probably just be goldbugs being more bullish on gold.

But then again, we can't really know this unless we grab all the data from multiple bitcoin exchanges, stock brokerage platforms, and online precious metals dealers.
8218  Economy / Speculation / Re: On Trump COVID Announcement: Bitcoin vs Gold vs The US Stock Market(US500) on: October 02, 2020, 01:44:17 PM
This chart is another proof that Bitcoin is not a safe heaven asset.Gold is still the one and only safe heaven asset, while BTC and the US stock market are following the same price patterns.

It sure isn't right now(price wise), but the long-shot bet is that it will hopefully be a good hedge against economic uncertainty in the future. Regardless the price movement though, I'd still rather hold bitcoin than gold. Bitcoin's easy self-custody characteristics is a really important factor when talking about economic hedges in my opinion.

Kung na charge ang owner, tiyak good bye na yan sa exchange nila dahil diyan rin naman tutungo yan.

Un lang ang di ko talaga alam. Pero mostly 2 possible scenarios lang naman as far as I know:

1. Kulong ung 2 co-founders, and ma sshut down ung exchange(temporarily or permanently, idk)
2. Pagbabayarin sila ng malaking fine, tapos irerequire sila na higpitan ung KYC
8220  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naniniwala ba kayo dito? on: October 02, 2020, 11:41:06 AM
It's a safe assumption na karamihan talaga ng exchange e ganyan. Lalo na't ung mga iba e mataas taas ung minimum amounts nila para magrequire ng KYC.

Don't be too comfortable though, eventually may gagawin rin ung mga gobyerno about sa mga no strict KYC exchanges. Ito kagabi lang balita to, inarrest na ung isang co-founder ng BitMEX, tapos ung isa pang founder is hinahanap na. Just another reminder na wag mag iiwan ng funds sa exchanges pag hindi naman ginagamit sa pagttrade. Mga iba kasi ginagawa nilang holding wallet ung exchange.
