8221  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk Bounty millionaires. do they exist? on: September 13, 2017, 02:19:21 AM

This forum has been a leading light for information, work, online socialising for the crypto community world. we have seen many ICOs happenning and bounties being paid out. so all this leads to curious questioning. so do we have bounty millionaires here among us ? who have made their fortune in executing bounty work and can inspire the community and wish to share their stories and tips with the community?

thanks all.

millionaires no,like you see i am Legendary,i had very good payout from edgeless,my bounty now is worth 15k$ just six weeks of work, but edg bounty was paid in time, for two months work for Sonm i have got only 500$ becouse i had to wait very long time for payout, similar although a little better was with mgo, also long time waiting for payouts.Sig campaigne give best incomes depends of forum rank

I heard Edgeless was paying the bounty participants a really significant amount of EDGs. In your case, you are basing in US dollar. That is why it will not reach by the million. But if it is converted into some local currencies, it might be even more. In my case, as a Filipino, that $15,000 is already 750,000 in local currency. And that is from a single campaign only. Another 250,000 pesos and it is already reaching million.
8222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 12, 2017, 04:08:15 AM
Not necessarily but there is for sure a very adverse effect on them since bitcoin is the one really representing the entire crypto world. If anything really bad happening to bitcoin, the rest will for sure be dipping in their own respective values.
8223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 12, 2017, 03:42:31 AM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

It does not matter to me actually how they pay me for my job. What matters to me is the amount. Even if your salary is paid in bitcoin but it is equivalent to a little amount then it is still not good enough for me. I am accepting bitcoin as payment but only if the amount is good enough.
8224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about altcoins. on: September 12, 2017, 02:30:08 AM
I still don't get it why there are two coins so I gotten questions out of my curiosity.

Will altcoins be much better than Bitcoins?

Will the currency be good? than Bitcoins? or its just the same?

Can altcoins be directly converted to money?

You have a lot of beginner's question there, mate. I may not answer everything but make sure to make some research, further readings.

In crypto, there are only two classifications, Bitcoin and then the rest will be called alternate crypto. In the alternate crypto, there are almost a thousand coins. If you ask about better than bitcoin, you have to classify the question. In terms of what? On an overall basis though, I say that Bitcoin is still the best.

Alternate coins have different uses. These coins are used to suit their respective projects.
8225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS Pumping again...be careful on: September 11, 2017, 03:42:35 AM

  • there seem to be like maybe 1-2 developers behind it, that's it
  • a lot of non-technical people who seem to have bought it pumping it with fluff articles, blogs and youtube video

I agree with these, I'm not sure about the others.

These are all pretty normal. These are legitimate strategies that developers of a certain project or coin can use to boost their coin's value. At the end of the day, Stratis remains to be a good project. This is not a shitcoin unlike so many others out there. Moreover, this is not a pump and dump coin either. I am trusting Stratis!
8226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking with your bitcoin on: September 11, 2017, 03:14:47 AM
Is it possible that banks would accept bitcoin as your deposits directly from your bitcoin wallet? Or they will ban it because of internet security reasons?

It is very possible but I know not one bank that accepts bitcoin as direct deposit from your bitcoin wallet to your savings account. Because there is no one bank that has bitcoin as an option of their account. It might happen in the future if bitcoin will be as widespread as fiat.
8227  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: September 11, 2017, 02:44:10 AM

8228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: September 11, 2017, 01:57:02 AM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?

I think majority of the jobs here are not going to pay you in Bitcoin. Most of the jobs here are campaign-related and are altcoins-based. You can look for services that pay you in bitcoin though. But there are far more choices when you look for campaigns that pay you in tokens. It is still good because you can still convert them to bitcoins later. You can go to bounties (altcoins) and choose one.
8229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 10, 2017, 03:48:28 AM
Lol we hit an ATH after this. So hilarious. Who do these people think they're fooling? I'm really not sad that I'm up 500% this year alone. I would honestly have been happy with 5-10% but that's not how bitcoins work at all at this time!

Yeah! Continue hitting thess rumormongers and FUD-spreading around here. I also noticed that every time there is a serious dip in BTC's price and FUD begins to spread like good news, and everyone is now effectively creating fears among investors, I mean small time investors, the price will break ATH right after.  Grin
8230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be ready for more rumors and fud from China on: September 10, 2017, 03:27:03 AM
Reason is simple:

It has been TWICE that china got burnt on BTC, selling as low as $3,900 last weekend, and as low at $4,100 today.
Every time, BTC showed strong resilience and systematically went back up in the $4,400

Lots of Chinese traders lots money, and WILL want to make this money back... spreading FUD and fake news on BTC.

Just be ready... hodl or trade... but it will happen again.

FUD spreading is quite normal in crypto environment. People are often reacting to these that is why FUDs continue spreading around. This has been proven highly effective in somehow controlling or manipulating the reaction and eventually decisions of people in the market. The news about china is true. However, they are now padded with additional rumors to become hotter issues.
8231  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 10, 2017, 02:13:24 AM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.

Learn to trade, mate. There is money there for as long as you have learned the necessary skills. Your $200 may also be used for hodling altcoins of your choices. That is the kind of investment you can do with that amount. But I prefer trading. Choose the cheapest that has the probability to rise soon.
8232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Other ways of earning on: September 09, 2017, 03:57:43 AM
Besides from trading , campaign's here in our beloved forum and also by the way of mining, Is there another way for use to earn BTC or any other crypto without investing likely for a beginner here in our industry.

The best way to earn without any investment is to join campaigns or other services. It is your choice whether to go for Bitcoin-paying tasks or altcoin-paying ones. Look under services or if you want you can also look for one in the marketplace (altcoin) section and then under bounties (altcoin). You can also use your twitter or facebook account for some social media campaigns.
8233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: September 09, 2017, 03:44:07 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

LOL. Bitcoin studies or blockchain to be exact is of course more productive than playing useless games and surfing x-rated sites. These are all nonsense. But bitcoin as a course is too much value added to a single invention. You are right, try to insert this is enough. Perhaps this is welcome in computer studies or even other social sciences perhaps.
8234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: September 09, 2017, 02:55:19 AM
The article isn't saying that Bitcoin is increasing criminality though. It's saying that Bitcoin is playing an increased role in criminality.

That being said, I don't think Bitcoin is to blame for any rise in cybercrime. It plays a factor, providing an easier form of payment collection, but even if it didn't exist, criminals will find a way as they always do. It is kind of sad that Bitcoins is associated with crime though.

It is sad indeed. But considering the fact that almost all kinds of things are actually associated with crime one way or the other, there is no necessary labeling of what is really a tool for crime. Bitcoin is the same with all fiat currencies around the globe. Criminals choose what they are comfortable using. It so happened that some of them prefer bitcoins.
8235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: September 09, 2017, 02:12:55 AM
the future of bitcoin will be bright and I believe that, because bitcoin growth is very good and the value of bitcoin prices is very high, I keep collecting little and storing it and much more that I invest for the future, and in my opinion, bitcoin will continue to grow and increase simultaneously with increasing market demand in addition to the limited amount of bitcoin will drive a continuous rise, therefore I am accumulating bitcoin before bitcoin becomes difficult to collect

That is also what I am trying to start doing, trying to add even little additional amount for my bitcoin investment every now and then. Long before, I did not add any. I just don't withdraw whatever income I got through trading and joining campaigns here. But now, I think I will add some so that while the value is increasing, the profit is also going along.
8236  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 satoshi = 1 US cent? In next 5 years? on: September 08, 2017, 03:00:26 AM
Hi,

Do you believe that the price of bitcoin could rise so much to become 1 satoshi = 1 US cent?
Some folks are saying BTC will reach 25$K in 2 years and Half a million in 5.

I have my own moderate way of looking at it. I can hardly see Bitcoin getting that precious 6-figure in dollars in the next 5 years only. How about 50,000 in dollars at least in 5 years time? That would be more reasonable and not pure wishful thinking.
8237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: only 0.000149 btc on: September 08, 2017, 02:39:08 AM
Hello

in my wallet i have 0.000149 btc  Undecided what can i do with this amount, trading ? landing ?  Huh  Huh or what  ? it's not even  cover a transaction fee   Sad Undecided

Try to grow it bigger, mate. You might want to buy some BTC to add to it. If you don't want that option try scalping in trading exchanges. Ride with the ups and downs of coins. It might grow double quickly. Holding is not an option for you since that is very small amount.
8238  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin or other coins on: September 07, 2017, 03:44:41 AM
what make bitcoin better and incomparable to the other cryptocoins  ?

If I have a huge amount of investment, I would surely go for bitcoin. A huge amount would be intended for bitcoin. That would be purely holding for at least a year or two. But since I am only holding a very little amount in Bitcoin, I am shifting from altcoins and then bitcoin and then altcoins again, and back to bitcoin again. That is how I do my arrangements in trading.
8239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: September 07, 2017, 03:20:24 AM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment

This has some basis really. For now, at least, the hassles are all in Bitcoin transactions. I mean, I refer to confirmation time and transaction fees. Cash means instant transactions. No need to wait for confirmation time. No need to pay additional payments. Perhaps some tips are enough. But even this is not required. And in offline places, cash works best.
8240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the blockchain technology changes our lives? on: September 07, 2017, 02:02:53 AM
Blockchain technology has given the people transparency in the transactions thus making it impossible for some people to just change some information because its public. It is decentralized that's why it is not prone to being hacked cause every one can own a copy of the system thus a hacker cannot just easily hack one and disrupt the system totally.

Nowadays, most of our system are centralized and only some people have access to it that's why some authorities abuse their power to manipulate the system to their advantage. If the system is decentralized and made public, they cannot just easily manipulate the system and cannot just easily change some information since people can see if something has change.

Transparency is the keyword for blockchain really. All the transactions are going to be recorded and no one can hide from it. But aside from transparency, anonymity is also there to strike a balance. While all the transactions are recorded, the person behind the transaction is hidden. The person's identity is not open to the public. They will be protected from any schemes of identity theft.
