8221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 4000$ in 2018?  ??? on: August 15, 2017, 04:52:35 AM
the price has been held down by scaling debates and uncertainty about that....

that said there will be and epic shake out on the correction

Ineed. It's allmost time to rename the thread, suggesting
Re: Can bitcoin hit 4000$ in 2018?  Huh

Regarding uncertainty this is strange reaction from die hard coin gamblers who on most of the other times aren't afraid to trade out in the dark of the night, isn't it?
LOL
Bitcoin already reached that price of 4000 dollars in 2017, I think a good idea may be to change the number to 5000 dollars but maybe bitcoin could reach that in a week, so a price of 6000 to 7000 dollars may be more appropriate for the title of the thread.
Well it's really amazing that bitcoin managed to go over $4,000 and that's just the middle of the year what more when it comes to christmas or in 2018. We can't really know for sure but one thing is for sure is that we should just HODL.
8222  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Newbie Welcome Thread on: August 15, 2017, 04:50:32 AM
Newbie here just recently joined. I hope marami akong matutunan dito sa forum masyado akong curious sa paano ba nag evolve ang Bitcoin.
If you mean evolve it increases in price or how it is being developed and how it is being created in a better way for us to use it and to make better transactions? There are a lot of good reads here in bitcointalk that could answer a lot of your questions if you are looking for one. It would just take you a few minutes to know how you could earn here. Welcome.
8223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 15, 2017, 04:41:39 AM
There is one strategy with which you can roll only once and it's a guaranteed win chance 80% amount max you win cashout. Second strategy 1% of total bankroll chance 1% roll 100 times you might win once. Last the 50% strategy if you are winning continue playing as soon as you lose twice in a row stop

nice strategy but there is really no guarantee at all due to randomness and house edge advantage rule. I am now playing just for fun and testing some strategies as well and currently doin good - I just want to gauge how long this would go and start from there. I advice to just play with money we can afford to lose and just play for fun and entertainment.
I can guarantee you the 80% will work i have 0.1 and i atarted my test on bitseler with a brand new account and won the first roll i withdrew and tried on crypto games ot worked again tried on bitdice again it successfully worked. In first roll of the account you will never lose but continuously doing will be a loss

You were very lucky then. Wondering what was your win chance and amount of money you bet but nonetheless, the issue is whether or not our first bet is most likely a winner and when we bet further, loses will be eminent. But to be honest, if our win chance is high, then even if our account is new or old, we are most likely will going to win on our first bets but not really all the time though.
Wow kinda amazing, I never heard such a strategy like this. Well I am not really sure that gambling could guarantee you a win, for me it is really unpredictable, and aside from that you wont know unless you try and risk some amounts to gamble. Anyway I wanna try it sometime if it will be effective for me, it really sounds awesome. Still you were so lucky to win.
It's scary to do the 80% chance just to try this strategy i think if you are willing to lose an amount that would lead to a greater outcome then you are welcome to try in my opinion. It's your money no one else should have control over it just you. Whatever it takes it's really scary if you don't have that kind of money
8224  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: August 15, 2017, 04:38:29 AM
We have to save the human beings who lived in this planet by taking care of the environment. In taking care of the environment, we are also taking care of the planet and saved it from devastation.

It is not just about the human beings. There are millions of other species out there, which share the earth with humans. And we need to respect their right to live on this planet as well. But right now, 90% of the planet is used for human habitation.
The humans are the only ones capable of either saving the planet or destroying the planet. It is up to our advantage that we make the world a better place because it's us who are living here and there are animals the share our habitat. It's about time we need to do something even if it is small.
8225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 15, 2017, 04:36:00 AM
What I always do is put some back into building up my bankroll and the rest I keep for myself and also invest some of my winnings into Altcoins. I look for the long term Alts which I put around 20 to 30 percent of my winnings into them and it's been very good as I have built up my Altcoin portfolio from my winnings.

The simplest thing to do about it is to step up and leave the game whenever you have made some profit. In the end you are not really going to continue if you are logical, everyone knows that the chances to lose is quite high after we win. There is no point to keep on going for more if you have already get some money ( rather than losing money )
That's true unless you have a girl that you haven't met yet but that's logical like you said. In order to have the best experience in my opinion is you can try to money for your balance and have an extra fee to have the best outcomes like if you lose you won't regret it because you only amount to a certain amount but if you win it's a win. In my opinion it's all about patience.
8226  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: August 14, 2017, 10:57:22 PM
Renewable energy is something that our government needs to fund a research and development. Because it will become useful to us specially now a days that gadgets, appliances etc are always relying on energy. Also because of the advancement of technology, we need also to develop our source of energy.

The biggest enemy of the research on renewable energy is the GCC nations. They have openly lobbied against renewable energy, and the mainstream media channels funded by these nations are always full of propaganda favoring fossil fuels.

We cannot survive a day without using of energy. Energy help us to live in a comfortable way. But renewable energy is limited because of people that did not use energy in a proper way. If we want the next generation to feel comfortable, we should limit the use of energy and we should only use it if necessary.

The biggest obstacle to the spread of renewable energy is the cost associated with it. For example, electricity generated from solar panels cost almost 5 times as much as that from the nuclear power plants. But there is hope that as the technology advances, these options may become more and more cheaper. We need to invest a lot in the research.
It is truly the main factor why aternative sources of energy are not so used often. It is both renewable energy it's the technology that costs a lot not the energy created by it. Some countries already have applied this kind of technology and hope that other countries will follow.
8227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 14, 2017, 03:12:51 PM
No gambling can never be profitable in long term as if you continue to gamble then you will surely be loosing all the money you have won so far so the best thing would be to quit gambling at a right time when you have won good amount of money.

I do not think also we can make a profit in a long time because if you win in a day of gambling, it will be very hard to earn the next day, so we should see it as entertainment, if you see it as a profession, you both praise yourself and your money.

Gambling is profitable for short time because if you bet and win you have profit in that instant. There is no assurance that you can win every bet because gambling is about winning and losing. I do not think that it is possible to get profit in gambling for long time. Every player must set limitations on the amount to bet and must control oneself in time of winning even losing.

The more riskier it is, the more gain it has - this is so true with gambling where the risk is really quite high but if you win, you will going to win quite high as well in just a short period of time.
Not necessarily but most of the time that is the case. What i'm talking about in the not the most common way is betting the smallest amount with the minuscule chance of winning then when you win if you would just be back from the start and that's not good knowing that you could have just try in a normal rate then make the balance higher by consecutive winnings.
8228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: August 14, 2017, 03:24:54 AM
Lol you have some strange superstition. I guess though that is what superstition is, something strange. I have no superstition at all. Sometimes i feel like a certain situation is bringing me luck but then i remind myself such things don't exist.

What makes you believe in these things or follow through with them ? Probably not fun ? Surely it is out of desperation ?

I think for some it's funny little quirks like blowing on the dice. They know it does nothing but they do it anyway.
I don't believe also in this superstition it only make your mind focus on that and in making money with it ,superstition only exist to the gamblers who want to win and earn income. That's a belief it is funny things how they use to believe in superstition wearing the same clothes ,putting a bet is that color or anything else that happens in the past with the same things they won.
It's the mind set of people that make it feel real like there's nothing wrong when you do it and nothing wrong if you don't do it, it's just an extra thing that makes the person feel more comfortable and thinks that they have increased their chance of winning. Maybe the reason why they wear the same shirt because they haven't taken a shower yet or something, lol.
8229  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: August 14, 2017, 02:58:02 AM
Of course it's real, there are a lot of evidence that shows that the earth is warming. The continuous rising of the carbon dioxide levels can't be stopped, but recent studies show that the CO2 emissions have lesser compared to the other years because some of the companies that produce CO2 adapted environment-friendly processes, it's a step, but it's still not enough but at least there are some actions being done.
8230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 14, 2017, 02:11:28 AM
If you build an experience in a game that do not depend 100% on luck i think gambling would be very profitable. Experience is useful and helpful in some games.

I don't believe that there is a game that doesn't require luck in a way, I don't know, or I'm just not thinking hard. Everything comes to luck, but I don't believe that you can measure it and how you obtain it. Some people do some rituals in order to increase their so called luck, and I don't agree with that knowing that it can't be measured.
8231  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: August 13, 2017, 03:14:38 AM
, we cannot deny the fact that scientists and other researchers are discovering or finding some source of renewable energy, it would be a big help to ours. the only problem is, we do not know yet what are the side effects of renewable energy unless we have it, but according to what i have read solar power energy is considered as renewable source of energy and as of right now it is very hot due to the climate change and a part of destruction in nature, and solar energy is being used also to take advantage the heat. I don't know if it is true but that's what i read from an article.
As part of the people trying to research on renewable energy, it's really possible it's just that we need to implement it. The statistics show that the percentage of carbon dioxide emissions are decreasing that's a great step towards the future but we can only slow down the greenhouse gases that is in our air, it's up to the future researches to try to eliminate those gases that destroy our earth.
8232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: August 11, 2017, 09:32:33 AM
It just seems that there are no people interested in how to help the world knowing that we are destroying our planet. I wanted to have a healthy discussion about what can we do even if it's a little thing to help the environment.
Unfortunately many people do not understand as it is dangerous, to contaminate our planet. But in the future we will see all problems that is related to contamination. Бережней is needed behaves to Earth.
Anything that is contaminated has effects that you wouldn't know of or probably under your noses already, it might affect your health or something. I just didn't understand what you posted, what I bolded.

I think many westeuropan country use renewable energy sources, but many of this countries use uranim, and that is problem if they not carefulu can come to disaster. We can follow example of Denmark how to use renewable sources.

Uranium is the best renewable energy source. It is cheap, unlike the solar panels and wind turbines. But as you said, nuclear power-plants must be operated with extreme carefulness. Also, another issue is the disposal of the spent nuclear fuel.
We all will agree with this, knowing that you could power up a whole city without destroying other natural resources.
8233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: August 11, 2017, 12:40:53 AM
In a global scenario, i don't expect a drastic change in the energy sources so soon
Fossil fuel corporations are not open to new ideas.
I don't agree with you. One of the first decisions Trump had to remove the ban on the sale of the us strategic reserves of oil and gas. America now wants to become a serious seller in the energy sector. He probably knows about the existence of effective alternative technologies and strives to sell while it has value.
From what I've researched, Trump doesn't know where to stand in the global warming crisis, I believe he said that it's an expensive hoax created by the Chinese, I don't know where he got that from and saying that it's to manipulate the market. There's a reason why it's still cold and it still snows but that doesn't mean global warming is not real. There is a lot of renewable energy researchers that are waiting to be performed commercially, it's about when you are going to apply it in your homes or wherever you are.
8234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 10, 2017, 03:41:23 PM
I think the best option you have when you win money is to invest it in bitcoin. It's almost the most secure invest you can  do because bitcoin is the most successful project at the moment.
Yes the profit from gambling must be invested on other kinds of Investment except on gambling, it will makes our bitcoins be more increasing the good investing for now is put the funds on the ICOs projects, but must becareful to choose the ICOs because
many fake ICOs that will takes money investors without gives any profit in the future.
keep gaining your bitcoin wouldn't have never ending. and in the long run it's doesn't gives you any guarantee to always have get profit , i can make a vouch that an investment without passion and patience would never work . it's should be done patiently in the long run , cryptocurrency are full of good things as long as you know what you are doing.
In my opinion, there would never be a guarantee that you can earn a profit or something that would make yourself rich in a short amount of time unless you are a jackpot winner or something, it's very easy to know what to do when you have already the capital but never use it in gambling, in my opinion, I don't know it depends also on the type of person or something.
you need more than just a capital , it's useless you know when you have large capital already but don't have any good and reasonable plan . i mean you might could easily say would like to put the winning money to invest, but then everything went wrong with your investment instead profitable you just go down in heavy loss. end of words an investment without good analysis skills would be just same as you gamble again, there's no difference right? with that kind condition.
well that's true knowing that you just have capital you need to have a strategy also just like you said. There are a lot of plants that you could do but the most important thing in my opinion is the character that you have when you gamble because there are a lot of people who doesn't control their place and just think of the money that they can win.
8235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 10, 2017, 02:26:49 AM
Gambling isn't wrong, though the image made by some of the troubled gamblers is quite bad. In reality Gambling is made solely for fun and entertainment, in which should be followed. But, Other gamblers are making this industry worst and worst. Ideally what makes gambling wrong is the action made when someone is an addict and to the point that He/she started to do things that can cause problems and damage not only to him/herself but also to the people around him/her.
It is definitely bad, knowing that there are people that can be seen that are really addicted and they put their lives and savings on the line just to play, they are never controlling themselves then it leads to the destruction of their relationships, it's just their own fault. If you know someone that has problems with that, you should try to approach them and help them.
8236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: August 10, 2017, 02:18:22 AM
So much technology can affect with us so much pain, especially in our head, its not healty if we focus to much in technology .like cellphone, Maybe it can help us everyday but do not use it all the time, we need to accept that we need that technology but we need to limit ourself to use this. Me everytime i go to sleep i stay my phone away from my bed.
That would be somewhat of an addiction, probably caused by the social media that you have and you will never know what could happen when you care too much about your image in the social media sometimes it could be suicidal moments, maybe you are getting too attached to someone or something. That sometimes happens to me, when I go to bed, I don't immediately sleep, I play or read stuff on my phone but I activate my blue filter thing in my phone that turns off all the Blue LED on the phone.
8237  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coins.ph as Bitcoin wallet on: August 09, 2017, 04:46:07 AM
Coins.ph is actually a nice wallet and I think most people that use it are Filipinos. It actually has a nice feauture where in you can reload your mobile phone in certain amounts and you get 5% back for each transaction. It is good for storing small amounts of bitcoin or satoshi but I wouldn't recommend storing large amounts since you got no control on the keys and you're gonna have a problem converting your bitcoin to other currencies aside from Philippine Peso.
I agree but you can't rely on it too much and use your every transaction on it since you do not hold the private keys to your wallet, you can never be too safe on the facts that they could get your bitcoins and run away with it, but I think it's still safe. If you are going to save, then try a different wallet that you could hold the private keys and the mnemonics if you have. Try a cold storage device.

Hi lightlord and Lutpin, I would like to apply for the special rate for senior members. I have been part of the campaign for a long time and if it's applicable, hoping for your consideration. Thank you so much.
8239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 09, 2017, 01:05:03 AM
Maybe if i get a win. I will use for trading. Because I also think of something other than gambling. Not every day we can benefit from gambling
Yes, not every day we can benefit from gambling, so we should be happy with it, do not be greedy, greed can kill us and we should use the money we earn to invest in a more useful purpose for the future, may be trading, may be invested in ico or save, depending on us as long as we do not continue to use that money to gamble. Continuing to gambling will only make the money we win disappear quickly
It's always going to be a loss if you are going to gamble in the long run, it's just like you said you can never benefit all the time in gambling. I have been trading for a while now but as I can see, I'm still not making a big profit from it, just from the price of bitcoin.
8240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: August 09, 2017, 12:45:52 AM
I can't answer that question, because i also don't know why i keep coming back into gambling even i already lose so much money and bitcoins on it. Maybe because it's really entertaining and feels good when i make a bet and also i want to win back all my loses on gambling which is hard to do.

It is because the money that you have lose in gambling, that is why you keep on coming since you want to win it all back. The thoughts that you have the first time you have tried gambling is the opposite, that is why we can't accept the fact that we have lost in gambling, so that is the reason why we are keep on coming back on it no matter how much money you have already lost on it.
Every gambler should think for theirselves in their own reasons while they still playing on gambling  , Greedy earning profit , chasing to earn back what they lose , or to have fun? I think thats all the possible reasons .
It should not be just in gambling, but also in life. Knowing that you are currently living and without a purpose. I suggest that everyone pause and think about what you want because when you answer that, you will know what to do. Earning for the future, possible when you have a family already, that's just something to think about and hoping that motivation could lead you to stop gambling and not be greedy.
