8241  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 eth short term loan needed on: February 19, 2018, 02:44:42 PM
No collateral!?
Firstly you have negative trust and on top of that NO FREAKIN collateral! And you expect someone to lend you 1 eth without any guarantee that you'll return te loan back in time, or ever return it.
This could result in a ban of your bitcointalk account. So better you comeback with a collateral.

Asking a non-collateral loan does not result in ban. It results in a negative trust from DefaultTrust on the (would be) borrower's account specially if the asking party is a newbie with no prior positive trade history.

There are many people who have a good reputation here (example Darkstar_ , aTriz) and they are entitled to take non-collateral loans because defaulting it will end up in them losing their services and reputation here. So the borrower has a bigger security that the borrower is already trusted here.
8242  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Choose Crypto Exchanges. Vote! on: February 19, 2018, 02:34:48 PM
I do not think the eight choices above will be the foundation of option for some people. I care about the platform that has a large user base, has its Altcoin platform. There are many potential altcoin and trading platforms based on that.

Having a lot of altcoins listed is not always a good exchange. Take the example as our very close EtherDelta where every ether shittoken gets listed the moment its unlocked. The site had problems recently and users ended up putting their private keys in a impersonating site. Thus losing their tokens and their ethereum.

Decentralized exchanges are far from safe. I would prefer to do KYC and trade on a centralized exchange. However I hope that in future decentralized exchanges become more popular than now and more safer.
8243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: February 19, 2018, 02:31:47 PM
Why do you speculate on that price levels, any fundamental analysis or sounded technical analysis supporting that?
People like to speculate a lot. Maximum market movement comes from these speculators and though this does not influence the economy directly it does affect the market price a lot. Embarrassed

I believe that 2018 as a whole will be no less stormy for crypto currencies than 2017, when bitcoin soared to $ 20 thousand. By the summer of the coming year, the value of the coin should be restored and come close to $ 20 thousand.

I have a hunch this year is going to be more of a stable one for the crypto. Market seems stable as of now and there is no pump going on. Lets see what new FUD that comes in or what new fork (if any).

BTW anybody heard of an litecoin forking that happened?
8244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can one trade without losing?? on: February 19, 2018, 02:28:30 PM
It's impossible not to lose some trades. Even people like warren buffet have made bad trades. Don't worry so much about losing a few here and there because it happens to everybody. As long as you win more than you lose, it's fine.

Even big whales like Warren Buffet lose money on stocks and all often. Though they wont advertise those themselves because that would hurt their image a lot but losses does exist in every traders portfolio. Cheesy

Its important to learn from these mistakes and not make them twice. Its also important to differentiate and contrast between two or more altcoins which one is going to be a long term hold and which one should be dumped soon.
8245  Other / Meta / Re: The Merit System is a huge success and now it's time for demerits. on: February 18, 2018, 09:36:52 AM
If there is a demerit system then all I can see is that this forum will become the next battlegrounds between alt accounts and their competetions trying to merit and demrit each other - trying to get into this "Merit Wars".

It will only help "collusions" get the better of it and turn this place into a endless void for people who are "actually" trying to help the community by giving them demerits on every post. Even if this is abuse if its from alt accounts then it wont be detected so easily.

I again reiterate the same fact which I repeated in 2 posts before this in this same section known as "meta" - merit system has been created to merit the quality contributions to the forum and not for people who simply agree (or disagree for demerits) to each other.

8246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: February 18, 2018, 09:22:46 AM
Thank God that those FUDs got tired and bitcoin has now enough time to recover. Maybe the bear period has gone down but there is still no sign of another bull run so I hope that it will start this coming March or April.

A bull run can happen whenever you want. All you need is the proper exposure of the correct type of FUD and there you go - you can stimulate a bunch of shills with some new conspiracy shittheory and then allow the to propagate this idea among everyone they know and everyone they dont know.  Grin

If you are into shilling then you should already know about how to do this in chatrooms and trollboxes.

Too early to tell if the bullish trend will continue but if it stays over $10,000 then we might see more confidence return to the market again
I concur with this. I have a feel this run will continue till 15k USD and then see another correction where some people will sell but it will reach an all time high beyond 20k. Lets hope.
8247  Other / Meta / Re: Adding a "Likes" Points System to Complement the Merit System? on: February 17, 2018, 03:50:13 PM
I will like to remind the OP that the "Merit" system is not akin to the Facebook/Twitter "Like" button or the Reddit "Upvote" system. Nor is it created to mimic the "upvote" reputation system on other forum for example Inivision Forums.

This is simply for elder/knowledgeable people of this forum to give merits to the younger members so that they can rank - for making constructive posts and adding to the discussion.

Also according to theymos - Merit should be given to high quality posts and not simply the posts which one agrees with.
8248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want to trade on: February 17, 2018, 03:43:47 PM
There are too many people want to start trading but when he start trading and when he lose his money and he stop his trading because most of the people don't know about trading and don't have any experience with crypto trading, I'm suggest you at first learn about crypto currency then start your trading.

Well if they dont have any experience of trading then let it be their learning curve and let them learn from their mistakes whatever they may be. Everyone is new to something when they tackle it the first time but they gradually learn the tips and tricks on how to trade and what type of trading is going to suit them.

Well you can start by learning the basic from Google or YouTube, 20$ is a small amount but suitable for newbie to start trading, but I suggest you to trade top 10 coin from marketcap, or you can get suggestion from trading signal group, just remember there will be a time you losing money, so only trade with the money that you can afford to lose

I would not suggest youtube videos to learn. Because there are too many shitcoin promoters there getting money from their pumping crew.
8249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bearish trend is over on: February 17, 2018, 03:41:37 PM
Goodness gracious. Thank you lord for this. I am really hoping for the bearish market to finish and right now, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are recovering. Good things are coming. Bitcoin is now fighting out of fuds. Good for cryptocurrency. Don't sell by now, hodl.

Bitcoin does not "fight" out of FUD. It is the traders and the people who have invested money into crypto who are learning the true nature of crypto. The economy is stimulated by FUD spread by shills on every social media on the internet. Be it Youtube twitter or reddit. The last one is a breeding ground of shills and conspiracy theorists with no brains.

Still the people understand the potential of making money from crypto will hold their coins and sell later on.
8250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: February 16, 2018, 04:25:00 PM
Oh yea..
It was a few months ago. I got very lucky for some reason...
And won $1m in cash and kept going so they had ti escort me.

just kidding  Grin
Well if you got lucky and won some big amount you should defenitely keep that and not gamble any more. Because the more you gamble the more are the chances that you will end up with losses. Then the entire cycle will repeat and you will be at negative profit.

You are making this up arent you? Cheesy

I was once asked to leave a roulette table when my martingale on the colors of the outcome was proving effective and those cheats running the system felt i was a threat and got me out with excuses that they were going for break and there are not many players around at that time and so they had to close the place down until the evening
I did not experience that kind of situation because i never been to casinos but if ever time will come i can go there i will never do anything that can harm myself. It will be a shameful incident that i can't take to be happen.

I believe in such cases its better to leave because I guess the casino was having a big loss?  Huh Mostly when they run out of bankroll they might ask for a timeout just like in real life games.
8251  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BIT CONNECT did not scam me because i made a decision not associate with scammer on: February 16, 2018, 04:17:39 PM
Any one that got scammed by bit connect is a scammer as well.

Where did you think the interest was coming from folks? it was coming from those people you falsely led to a ponzi to get scammed so that you could get paid your profits ( lets call it loot)

There are hundred (read millions) of people who got scammed by bitconnect. Mostly newbies who were too naive and delusional that this "Lending, staking" platform was going to be huge. Even their account on bitcointalk was given negative trust. If they did not do even the the basic research on bitconnect then nobody can help them.

The interest was fake buzz created with the help of their "Referral program". Several youtubers and reddit shills used to spam the internet and every other social media with their bitconnect referral links and thus it became popular. They even did some campaigns here on bitcointalk IIRC.

Such ponzi/MLM schemes are always there to scam people and one should be vigilant about where they are putting their money before going to money dreamland and denying the inevitable.
8252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learnings from crash on: February 16, 2018, 04:13:14 PM
I became more aware about selling in the correction period. Never sell at the price lower than you`ve bought. when the coin is gaining profits, don`t believe that it will be infinite, you need to cash out the profits.

You are correct about this. However the point of selling varies according to individuals and is not always the correction point. Some people may be hodling for a long time and they simply sold at whatever profit point they arrive at and are happy with it because they are technically in profit.

To be safer its good to sell while the bull run is going. Dont go into thinking that it will go 100x times and holding because the drop will come very son before you know it. You can also try selling fractions of what you have so you always have something for holding/selling later on.
8253  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: February 16, 2018, 04:08:16 PM
Lack of knowledge is the main reason we have only a few peoples in the crypto world. People fail to understand the true potential of crypto currencies that's why they fail to believe. This one of the reasons people don't like cryptocurrency related things. We have to teach people what is crypto currency, its benefit, its true potential. They are not going to know about crypto currency in their dreams we are the one who has to make the change.

What potential exactly are you going to teach them? Is it about their usage or is it about how to "get rich quick with crypto". Most of the people are greedy and they go for the second option. Thats how they get scammed as well. Thus leads to a bad first impression about crypto to these newcomers and wannabe crypto enthusiasts who just became crypto-haters and will join the "crypto is a ponzi" bandwagon.

After all they are humans and they consider their earning with suspicion and doubt if they invest in any place which is a grey area. That can be improved gradually as people become aware of risks and benefits of crypto.
8254  Other / Meta / Re: Asking for Merit ? on: February 15, 2018, 07:18:16 PM
is we allowed to asking merit for our thread we made , and we think its usefull ?

LOL. You make a thread only to ask for merits? You think this is a place for pajeets to come and beg for merits? Just like we have got beggars asking for satoshis in the lending section and also in primedice chatbox?

Get a life and get a job. More importantly get a GF and get laid.

Good riddance. Grin
on-topic : Merits are awarded for making constructive posts and not obtained by begging.
8255  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 15, 2018, 03:01:39 PM
You are serious asking that question, after members here on the forum are named as "3rd world monkeys?"

3rd world monkeys is not racist.. its a categorization of the total dumb shitposters that we have on the forum, the guys who spin up 100 accounts a day and spam the forum with "when moon" "good project" etc etc.

those guys then go onto bounties and sig campaigns and spam 100+ characters of broken English and total eye cancer that the rest of us read all so they can earn $10 x 100 accounts per month to feed families..

this place isn't a welfare state, this used to be a decent community where people learnt, traded and grew a decent community - now its a total shit show. So call me racist if you wish, but I will call them Pajeets, 3rd world monkeys, bottom feeders and cunts all day long.
Serious? Not racist? I thought you called them "3rd world shitposters" but 3rd world monkeys... But it's ok, racism is allowed for a DT Member as long as he tag "scammers". Good Job Blazed.

Half of the people in this forum are Asians trying to spam the forum while joining a signature campaign. They are happy with the few bucks they earn from signatures and thus they continue doing so. While these scumbags actually do get some "free cash" the forum become the trashcan toilet for their half-english shitposts and vomitted half-english nonsense in "Bitcoin Discussion". Thats why people are angry at them and this is the what they face. However this is not generalized we have many contributory people here but the alt account making spammers and ICO shill bumpers are pathetic.

Also lets not bring up the recent issue where you sent me a unwarranted negative trust for no reason as retaliation.
8256  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 eth short term loan needed on: February 15, 2018, 08:37:38 AM
Whenever I come to the "lending" section I search for that special word which every lender wants to see from the borrower (if they are a legit borrower at all)

Its called  "Collateral" and defenitely the OP did not read the stickies about collateral before making this thread.

Offer a valid collateral or close this thread - otherwise you will have to bear the red mark on your account from DT.
8257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can one trade without losing?? on: February 15, 2018, 08:34:19 AM
I looked at my pc screen 247, 20 hours out of the 24 hours in a day. I am familiar with all the trading signs like hammer,  inverted hammer, doji. But even with these I still lost while trading. Most times, I decided not to trade without news from a particular project but even with a huge news like partnership, burning folks, I end up still losing.
What's really the cause? And how can I trade without losing much?

Maybe you have been putting too much time into this (you said 24-7) and thus your brain is not functioning correctly. Maybe you need to give it a rest and then come back to crypto with a fresh mind a few days later.

This can sometimes help newbies who are losing too much in trading. Also depending on what type of crypto you are trading you have to decide whether you are going to hodl it or you are going to day-trade it. For day trading I cant tell you anything because I am more of a Hodler. From what you say you seem to be a day-trader and I suggest you to try hodling for a change.

To become a hodler you should stockpile coins worth hodling everytime they drop and sell some at times to cut losses.

See if hodling works for you and let us know.
8258  Economy / Economics / Re: How to Choose Crypto Exchanges. Vote! on: February 15, 2018, 08:26:00 AM
I choose exchanges which have less restrictions related to KYC. Also, most will say that we should prefer old exchanges but I think they charge higher fees.

However do you know that why exchanges implement a KYC system? It is because money-laundering occurs in every financial sector and crypto is the one that has been used in a shady manner because of its (pseudo)-anonymous nature for many types of scams including credit/debit cards and fraudulent activity. Thus the KYC gives the exchange an idea of the trader and about the income of the person so that they can correlate the trades to be feasible or not.

Fees is another thing. However most popular exchanges have nominal fees unless of course you are dumping shittokens for few satoshis.
8259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin back to its own rhythm again? on: February 15, 2018, 08:20:25 AM
It's really nice to see the green on the graphs of all cryptocurrency. And it's all because of bitcoin rising. It's been rising constantly now, let's just hope that good things will happen and we will surely see the price beyond 20k this year.

What type of good things are you expecting? You cant expect that miracles will happen because of blockchain and bitcoin and crypto and bla bla bla. Price is increasing is just a sign that people are buying bitcoin and nothing suggestive of any special thing at least that I am aware of.

There is no doubt that the price of bitcoin will rise after the recession that was. What will be the price by the end of the year is another question, it is impossible to answer it with accuracy, but I think that we are waiting for the exciting 2018.

The drop in price should not be associated with "recession". Technically they are different and thus not comparable. It was a drop thats all. There is nothing to be excited about price, it will rise and fall and the cycle will continue. You just need to know when to get into the market.
8260  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT [READ BRFORE BUYING BITCOINTALK ACCOUNTS] on: February 15, 2018, 08:16:10 AM
OP you should know that buying an account on bitcointalk has its own risks. Why do you people want to go the easy way out and want to buy the account?

If you are thinking of joining a signature campaign from the bought account then you should know that this forum is not for farming accounts to shitpost and it will get you a negative trust from DT when caught. Account buying and selling is allowed here but it gives the person a false "elderly" status and thus is considered to be untrustworthy. Hence this needs to be done in order to mark them.

I have also left negative trust on your trust page because you deserve it, even if it does not matter. Its like stomping on the cockroach which has been bugging you.
