no longer on coinmarketcap, according to them its an issue with spots
That's because Gliss pulls price from Cryptsy. It was their issue, not ours. It's back up now though

[10:09:40 PM] Bit John: spots coming back online
Only updates I'm getting from Cryptsy is that Spots and one other coin were delisted last night. No ETA on when they will get around to fixing it. Sorry guys, I have no more info than that
Spots fallen to 0.00003012 @coins-e. Thank you cryptsy. My investment in spots because of your shit and buggy exchange divided 6-7 times than it was.
Don't worry about that price. It'll go back to where it was. Last I've heard they are getting ready to turn it back on. The volume isn't on coins-e. If anything, go there and BUY at that price. Anyone dumping now is a moron with what we are about to get done. But I'd be more than happy to add to my collection at that price

In the meantime while we are waiting for Cryptsy to get fixed. Instead of being mad, go do some good with your cryptos on Contribitcoin.comOr start earning some coins on WorkForCrypto.comAre you still predicting a big rise? Or was the rise to 0.0003 it? That wasn't even the beginning. That was me just being more active in the last few days. We are working on a few things that are going to be Spots only. One is going to involve other coins, but payment will only be accepted in Spots. The other one is a website we are working on the final negotiations for acquiring. We are building some sites from scratch and just outright buying others right now. The expansion for all three coins: Spots, Tickets, and Contribitcoin are well underway WorkForCrypto.com is also ready to accept Spots and Contribitcoin.com is now also live and ready for BTC and LTC contributions with NO FEES

Suddenly my investment into Spots disappeared on Cryptsy. Any ETA when Spots will be back? Really annoyed with cryptsy
I've already emailed Paul directly. Waiting on a response. To reiterate, this is not a coin issue. This is a problem with Cryptsy
Cryptsy constantly kill coins. Annoyed.
Yes. It's rather frustrating. However, be advised that NOTHING is wrong with Spots. The network is fine, there are no forks at all, nor any indication of such an event occurring
There are no forks. It is Cryptsy fault. The coin and network are fine.
Is there any way to add my pool to the list of "official" Spots mining pools? Added http://spotspool.chriskoeber.com/Thanks

Cheers, can confirm this peer list allowed me to get synced within minutes. Awesome. We are going to be releasing a new optional client update soon. As well as some other new, very interesting news about where to spend your Spots. It has nothing to do with any of the projects we've recently announced, but it should be up and running within the next few weeks. Just waiting on a few more estimates before we commit to an order

Someone hit me up from London and is trying to mine spots and asked if you could send a few pennies to test his address MHTaHPryJtJsJvx8u5fEL328nZcvrwyr5F
Sent a couple through. Please let me know if it worked

If anyone thinks they are not synced, post an address and I will send you a small amount. If you receive the coins, you are synced, regardless of the display issue we are working on

Ok for those of you still having sync issues. I think some of those nodes are bad now. Erase EVERY addnode in your spots.conf and add ONLY THESE TWO:
addnode=p2pool.org addnode=coinfreaks.com
I just deleted everything Spots related on this computer, added those two ONLY and it started syncing instantly. If this doesn't work, please post reply
If you are still trying to download 400,000 blocks, then it's a bad node. We will get it updated soon to ignore these. As long as where it says "Downloaded x of y blocks" and x is the current Spots block, you are synced. We'll update the client shortly to fix this since it seems some are still getting it. Current Spots block is around 70k, so the chain should download very quickly
