https://www.coindesk.com/china-industrial-commerce-bank-digital-yuan-cash-convert
Sve je to koordinirana akcija kineskih gospodara tame. Pozatvaraj i protjeraj one koji nam neodgovaraju pa će nam lakše bit uvesti našu centraliziranu shitaru.

You have already received instructions on how to restore your wallet and disable the 2FA feature, so I will not repeat that. Although khaled0111 briefly mentioned that you should move your coins to another wallet after you recover them, he was talking about something else. Even after you recover that wallet and disable 2FA, it will still be a 2-of-3 multisig wallet. You will pay more in transaction fees because you require 2 signatures to move your funds if you keep using it. Create a new standard wallet instead and move all your coins there.
8265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we provide merit others? on: June 21, 2021, 08:44:12 AM
Bounty managers are looking for merits for the last 90 days I remember applying for one campaign and I have no merit on that period but still got the nod of the manager, bounty managers look on quality posts more than anything else.
It's like when you read a job application. It usually says that the 'ideal' candidate should have these qualities... The emphasis is on ideal. The bounty manager is looking for that type of posters, but if they are not available, they'll have to accept the next best thing. That means lowering the initial requirements.

Also, I am sure that most bounty managers have some sort of shortlist where they put down the names of users they have worked with in the past and they know what to expect from them. If they don't meet all the requirements, they can still get accepted if they offered good services in the past.

hi Pmalek, there's a new crypto sportsbook here - BetJa , and they are offering free 100 sats (hourly), but you need to make at least a bet in order to claim the next. also, it will further increase depending on your level.
I have never heard of them, but they are brand-new, so it's not strange. Looks like they only feature a sportsbook without a casino.

Whether or not I will add them to the list will depend on a few things. First of all, I think I should wait a few weeks to give them a chance to settle in and make sure they are legit and there are no major customer complaints. From the way you explained it, the first 100 sats are free, to get more you will have to make a bet. If the user can make a bet with those free 100 sats and then claim more, I like it and I think it should be on the list.

I will check it out with the next update of OP.

You earn merits by contributing to the forum with quality discussions and threads that other users can learn and benefit from. When someone deems your posts meaningful enough, they'll reward you with merits. If your strengths lie in trading, listen to Upgrade00 and check out the trading sub-board. Start out by discussing what you know best and then expand your interests to other fields.

Remember not to plagiarize and make it look like other people's work is your own. You will be banned for that.
8268  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Wallet help on: June 21, 2021, 07:51:36 AM
Arrgghhh!! So, I am trying to get all my coins transferred from Coinbase to my Trezor wallet. I'd previouslly read that Trezor supports 1600+ coins...
More precisely, Trezor supports +1600 coins and tokens. There is a difference. Ether (a coin) is supported together with many of its ERC-20 tokens. I just checked both Trezor's and Ledger's website and this is what I could find:

  • Both Trezor and Ledger support AAVE. The coin is supposed to be transferred to your ETH address because it's an ERC-20 token.
  • Polygon or Matic is also supported on both hardware wallets. Search for Matic on Trezor's site, not Polygon.
  • I think neither of the two wallets support BAND.

1. Since I cannot send my AAVE, Band, Polygon, etc to Trezor what other hardware wallet should I look into? Should I go with the ledger wallet? I really don't want to, lol
Have you considered MyEtherWallet as a place to store your ERC-20 tokens?
8269  Economy / Gambling / Re: best bitcoin casino that allow USA players or accepted use of VPN ! on: June 21, 2021, 07:33:03 AM
The problem with crypto casinos is that the majority of them are licensed in Curacao, and the Curacao e-gaming license doesn't allow players from several countries by default. Among these, you will usually find France, Netherlands, and the USA with all its territories.

I found these two articles that mention bitcoin casinos for US players, have a look:
https://www.onlineunitedstatescasinos.com/casino-deposits/bitcoin/
https://99bitcoins.com/best-bitcoin-casino/#CasinosavailableforUSplayers

Before depositing any money, I suggest you check out their reputation first. To be honest, the names on the lists are unknown to me. Even if the sites mention that they accept US players, speak with the customer support first to see if you are allowed to play there and if you can use your VPN.
8270  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: June 21, 2021, 07:19:54 AM
Hey Pmalek, you can remove Wolf.bet from the list. They have permanently removed the daily login rewards due to abuse.
Thanks for informing me. The 7-days streak is no longer available among the shown options in the drop down menu when you click on your account name. They have also removed any mention of it from their promotions page. I wonder what kind of abuse was going on for 1 cent worth of coins that you could claim only once every 24 hours? Whatever their reasons, I am removing it from the table!

So you have Kaspersky Anti Virus on your computer. If it's not an Internet Security Suite, you are probably using the firewall that comes with Windows Defender.

You can try and disable real-time protection on your device and turn off the firewall to see if that changes anything. Open up your Kaspersky and disable it. That will probably automatically turn on the Windows Defender, so you will have to temporarily turn that off as well. Click Start and search for 'security'. Click on Virus & Threat Protection > Manage Settings under Virus & Threat settings and turn off real-time protection.

After that, click on Firewall & network protection and turn off all the firewalls that are displayed under each of your networks.
8273  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel happy on getting merits ? on: June 20, 2021, 11:24:47 AM
It's only natural that people like to see that their contribution is getting some appreciation. Merits is the way that content is valued on this forum and most users like to receive them. Being filled with joy or sorrow (if you don't get some) is a bit too extreme, and my happiness certainly isn't influenced by my merit count. I do check my history to see which of my posts and threads got merited. It's a good way to see what the community likes and dislikes if no merits have been awarded.
8274  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: June 20, 2021, 08:15:21 AM
Yes, it's still BTC0.004 I guess he's referring to the recent changes since FJ's minimum used to be higher.
I remember their fees being 0.004 BTC for years already, not sure when they made the change.

Bitdouble's minimum is at 10mbtc and withdrawal fees at 1mbtc.

They also offer withdrawals on the lightning network.
I added data both for on-chain and off-chain transactions. Thanks!

Edit : I forgot to mention Rocketrun their minimum withdrawal is at BTC.0005 and BTC.0002
I remember Rocket Run from my thread about faucets. Info about this site were added to the table as well.

Withdrawal fees is something that really shouldn't be. It would be different with a transfer to a bank, then mandatory fees apply. The only fee with the bitcoin that there is, or should be, is the network fee and every casino should be able to cover it easily. it is not that expensive and you make a good impression on the customers.
Very few casinos can afford to pay for its customers withdrawals. I would prefer that there aren't any withdrawal fees as well, but I understand that many sites just can't do that. What I really hate seeing is when casinos make money off of the fees that users pay similar to what cryptocurrency exchanges do. They charge the players $10 in fees for example, pocket 50% and use the other 50% to pay the network fees.
8275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is here to stay, do not panic on: June 20, 2021, 07:39:45 AM
Exactly and in years to come, same story would be told about coins currently making waves in the market especially the Defi, NFT projects thinking they have forever to dominate the space. Time will wipe them all out or decrease their value just as other projects before them are experiencing, history always repeat itself and those would ignore this surfers.
When you mentioned NFTs, I just had to bring up something I read a few weeks ago.

MILF token. Grin That's really it's name - MILF. There was a lot of hype about it from what I could see. Branded as the new Cryptopunks, whose pieces were sold for several million dollars. These MILFs were supposed to be the sexier version of cryptopunks I guess. They were advertised by that YouTube boxer-what's-his-name guy. The one who fought Mayweather a few weeks back. That's already a bad sign. If you have to pay some influencer/social media personality to advertise your project via social media.

Anyway, just take a quick look at the price and how it moved and where it's now. The point is, people shouldn't be sorry that they missed an opportunity considering how many traps there are along the way. You never know if you'll end up getting trapped.
8276  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Not Connecting to Any Server on: June 20, 2021, 07:10:20 AM
If I had to guess this is the reason why OP can't connect though: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/5195
That would then be contrary to his story in OP. He stated that he installed Electrum on 19 July (yesterday). That does not exclude the possibility that he originally downloaded and installed an old version of the software, but I doubt it. Versions 3.3.0 - 3.3.8 were released during 2018/2019 and you can only get them from the 'Previous Releases' section on the official download page. If he download from the official site, I don't think he took that route.

I have Electrum installed on two computers, never experienced my AVs or firewalls blocking the connection to it. Unless OP did it himself but doesn't know it. But I have noticed that sometimes if the sever I got connected to is offline, I couldn't manually select and connect to a different node without restarting my Electrum client. @OP, you could try that as well. Untick the 'select server automatically' box, pick a random server, connect to it, and restart Electrum to see if that will work.
8277  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto is here to stay, do not panic on: June 20, 2021, 06:41:48 AM
Too bad I haven't managed to invest in crypto back in those years. I could've invested a little in Litecoin if I was still like a little newbie back then.
Don't feel too sorry about it. Maybe you would have done the right thing at the time and invested your money in Litecoin, but you could have also invested in Peercoin, Devcoin, Feathercoin, or any of the other projects that are now defunct and useless. Imagine you held bags of those expecting better days to come? Your portfolio would have been looking much worse if that happened.
8278  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best way to send BTC? on: June 20, 2021, 06:36:37 AM
You are right Pmalek although one more input isn't going to cost him too much.
Probably below $0.40-$0.50 right now, but yeah that's not a lot.

The first is that I don't encourage storing coins on exchanges and from his last post he didn't seem to know how it works.
I don't either. I also recommended he send those coins to the party he intends to pay.

The second is that we don't know how precisely how much he is going to pay and how much Coinbase charges per withdrawal (in BTC), so if he sends everything to his Coinbase wallet and make the payment from there he could end up with a small change that he, most likely, wouldn't be able to withdraw.
I never recommended that he should move his Electrum coins to his Coinbase account and send the total sum from there. I suggested that he send everything from his Coinbase wallet to the company he is paying. Whatever else he owns should come from his Electrum wallet.

But that would only work if the receiver allows him sending two different transactions. If not, I agree that the best option is to move everything from Coinbase to Electrum and then send whatever he needs from Electrum.
8279  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: June 20, 2021, 06:24:08 AM
I guess Rollbit should be added in casinos that charge low minimum withdrawal amounts since their minimum withdrawal amount should be higher than their withdrawal fee.
Considering what the fees were at the time of writing, yeah I could have added them on that list. However, Rollbit has dynamic fees while the other casinos on the list all have fixed/static fees that don't depend on network congestion. That means that the Rollbit fees can be around $1 one day and potentially $10 the other day depending on the state of the mempool. Hence, I think it's better not to put it on the list.

Seems like FJ is listening to their community since they seem to have reduced their minimum withdrawal amount though it needs to be lowered even further in my opinion.
They have? Isn't it still 0.004 BTC? I couldn't find info that it was changed.

I don't know if this small detail is worth adjusting under Bustadice. I am a little familiar with the withdrawal options of it.

Basically, the withdrawal fee is dependent on the Bitcoin network congestion. There are 2 options one can use to withdraw.
In my table, there are two entries for withdrawal fees for Bustadice. Right now it says: 0.00000824-0.00004323 ~ $0.30-$1.55 at the time of writing. The first number is for the slower withdrawal and the second one is for the quicker one.
8280  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: June 19, 2021, 07:15:26 PM
Update:
The table in OP was updated with fresh data and numbers based on information from today. There were a lot of changes, so make sure you check it out. Don't hesitate to post and correct me if you notice any mistakes.

I wasn't able to check the data on a few casinos anymore. If you have a funded account on one of the below sites, I would appreciate if you can check the minimum withdrawal amounts and the withdrawal fees (a screenshot would also be appreciated):

  • Cloudbet
  • Betcoin
  • PLAYBETR

Thanks!
