8261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: August 01, 2018, 07:20:36 AM
Ok guys, let move on and not discuss about Melo anymore.  Grin. I'm really interested to see what's the reason behind Paul George opting to stay with OKC despite their poor showing last season. OKC have every reason to suspect that Paul will leave because he wanted to play close to home, with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, it looks like Russ has played a major part and it seems those two are pretty close more than we initially thought. And for me that is the reason why he stayed with OKC, those two are building up some chemistry it and out of the court.
I know this melo thing will be a question in everyone's minds until season starts but we are talking about melo here, yes he definitely doesn't deserve 27 mil but wouldn't you get a player like melo for 2.5 million a year when you just lost trevor ariza ?

I think rockets did a great move there. Also he still has some game to actually give it a change to rockets offense. They missed 27 threes in a row last season while playing against warriors, worst case melo misses some shots, best case , he prevents them from going 27 in a row. So there is really not much to lose for rockets.
8262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: July 31, 2018, 11:54:41 AM
Please enlighten me just in case I am missing something here or do you share the same view?
Honestly I have been asking this question to myself as well. Gambling on sports betting is still incredibly fun because I get to watch a game and have extra reasoning to favor one team or get more goals scored or whatever the bet was. I also like poker or something when I am gambling against other people which still gives me the chills whenever I do some crazy move. Yet, I feel like the fun of gambling against the house even though knowing house always wins seems not so much fun anymore.

Accepting gambling only for fun from the beginning may get you bored over time. But, accepting the losses and then convincing yourself for the losses as gambling is here for entertaining you, will be more fulfilled in my experience. I mean first target the profits and when you fail, search for fun among losses. That's it Wink.
8263  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 31, 2018, 11:02:16 AM
As we all know every investments has a risk. Before we invest we should be ready to face the risk otherwise we might loose everything. Proper management of investment is the key to be able to manage your investments.
Not a chance, even if you are afraid of the fact that bitcoin can be seen something like risky according to the governments, you can still make sure that your bitcoin can't be traced back to you with the mixers. There is no way something as anon as bitcoin to be public knowledge and traced without your will. Even if you just get your money, deposit it on casino and withdraw to the exchange, exchange to another coin, withdraw to your local place and so forth than no one can trace it back to you.

People may keep them anonymous along with enjoying the benefits of bitcoin advantages. But, no one could eliminate the risks of bitcoin market risks. If you will be ready to accept both of these risks only, you may become a bitcoiner. But, I believe in coming years, more government will follow Japan for legalizing bitcoins. Still, we will have the risks of market fluctuations. I guess, after adopting bitcoins, no one is bothering that much compared to government related issues.
8264  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital? on: July 31, 2018, 10:15:32 AM
Having a small capital could take a long time before we earn big enough. It is a matter of patience and how good we are in managing that small capital. But with more patient and determination we will earn big time in the long run.
I thing challenges for investment with small capital is the low profit. At times, your little capital might not give away a profit much more than the total cost and the margin of profit will be little. A rise in the capital decrease the average cost of production thereby rising the profit margin.

Besides, the capital is also prone to wear and tear after producing a certain quantity of goods and you have to face the replacement cost for installing new capital.
I believe hardest is to get it bigger from the small increments of percentage you are getting. You can have 50% increase on a 20 dollar investment yet you will have 10 dollars. However when you have $100k and get 1% increase that is 1000 dollars.

Hence, it is easier to get your money worth something when you have a bigger capital. However when you have small capital than you can invest riskier considering what you lose is not life changing amounts, so you can invest on something that may go zero or may go x1000 soon, riskier the investment is the higher the reward can be.
8265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading volume by exchange geographical location on: July 30, 2018, 12:10:55 PM
Oh this is sooo sweet. I love the look of it, I always wondered how much was going on in what country, this is sooo perfect.
I really love to see my own country in that map as well. There are a lot of countries but also there are a lot of countries that do not exist on the map with detail so at least we are in there Cheesy.

It is great to actually see it because I initially tought USA would have been biggest yet I would have never thought seychelles to be number one on list, must be some off shore thing going down there.
8266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: July 29, 2018, 02:26:06 PM
Recently i was working on a project related to Altcoin listing on different exchanges. Strange i found out too many new exchanges and people are trading well over there. Don't you guys think there should be limited number of exchanges and regulated ones? (Many new exchanges are nicer too and competitive but there is always a trust issue there specially for new investors). Your thoughts.
I think it is great that people think they can just start a new exchange and actually make money from it. This means crypto world is getting bigger so I am not against it, even tho most of those exchanges have not passed from the hacking scenario that most other good exchanges had to put up against so they still have a lot to prove. The more websites and jobs about crypto out there means the bigger the crypto world is getting, not all websites take away customers from each other, they also create new customers as well which is great for all of us.

Different exchanges offer different useability, different coin listings, different fees and different trading tools and benefits.
In my view, one exchange may get saturated whereas exchange industry will never get sutured as there are lots of new coins/tokens are being announced everyday which means we need more exchanges in coming days to cope up against the ever growing crypto adopters.
8267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What about your trade? on: July 29, 2018, 01:31:22 PM
my trading so far still good and I expecting to make a profit in this short time because I see that a lot of coins is trying to reach the higher price. some of my coins are also increasing and I see that the profit increases too but I still wait for my order sell fill. I think in the next month, every coin can get an increase if the situations are like this whether bitcoin price is not moving to the highest price and only stays in that price. I want to see the altcoin increases so we can make another altcoin party for this year.
But I trade with an automated bot, I have purchased a bot which is not coded by me, it is now doing great because of the bull market and the tether trading with bitcoin is providing with decent returns however it wasn't doing so well back during January and February months because bitcoin dropped steeply and every other coin followed, I don't mean bot is bad but honestly during bad months it is worthless since everything is falling anyway, however when everything is going up, it catches all trades and makes great returns, also they have amazing support I got response on anything I asked and any time I asked it.

When crypto market trend is fluctuating heavily, I do suggest always to stay calm rather than trying out day-trading. When we are not sure about the trend, we must give markets some time. Fishing on clear tide is easier and risk-free unless otherwise we had gone such experience previously and too successfully.
8268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Again BTC going down? on: July 29, 2018, 08:13:29 AM
I am not expecting for a record breaking price in the end of the year because every year has its own difference. As of bitcoin's slight decreased I can't think of anything that caused it, maybe it's just a usual movement of a volatile market so don't be bothered and keep waiting.
You may not expect a record higher price by this year end. But, there are plenty of chances for a new all time higher prices before this year end but which may not hold for while like what we have experienced in the fourth quarter of last year.

At points like this, anyone who is even considering on selling what they have been holding all these while is making a silly mistake and would even set such a person into a deeper level of emotion in the long run if the market even decides to pick up in the short term. What anyone should be looking forward to now, is to at least be buying more which would make them even more relaxed considering that when the market eventually picks up, they will really be swimming in huge profits.
8269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 10k$ at this time? on: July 29, 2018, 06:13:13 AM
Predicting BTC to be 10k right now is too good. If you put all your hopes on BTC making it to 10k,then you will be left disappointed because there are bear times waiting to pounce. Let allow it to rove around it preferred price but we are not given up on 10k. There are possibility that it will clock 10k before the end of the year.
It is quite possible. It has stayed here at the $8k levels for a while which means it did not correct itself and dropped back, so this is not a pump in the price. Yet we are still forgetting how shorts work. People who bought bitcoin and collected the at the low amounts until it reached the $8k now holds bunch of bitcoin. They can suddenly sell all their coins and collect shorts as many as they can afford which will once again drop the price of bitcoin and they will have higher profits than waiting on bitcoin price to go to $10k.

$10,000 must be still a psychological barrier and breaking it might needs some external help. I mean if bitcoin get some very big positive news then we can easily see prices moving forward to next resistance level which is expected to be around $12,800 levels.
8270  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC rejects Bitcoin ETF again. Bear market to continue. on: July 28, 2018, 02:38:19 PM
People are thinking going into a trillions of dollar worth of market looks easy. It is not, it will take a long time before we can see a bitcoin ETF however the reason why the investors get into bitcoin is not the ETF.

Do you really believe that these huge whales with millions of dollars can't see the ETF will get rejected but we can see it ?

Rich people are not stupid they know what they are doing, especially those rich people who got rich with financial methods. They knew it would be rejected yet bought anyway. So don't expect a bear market that quickly if ETF gets rejected.

Even though, yet one more time bitcoin etf by Winklevoss twins got rejected, I am confident about the news and awareness they have created along their two etf attempts will be enough for bringing new people into bitcoin ecosystem. Including myself, people are expecting someone on someday to get etf approved and due to that how high bitcoin prices will fly. When this kind of expectations on bitcoin remains alive, how we can expect bear market to dominate all the times ?
8271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: July 28, 2018, 12:46:28 PM
I don't know whether this argument is true or not. I know a few of these gambling addicts (some of whom happens to be my friends). These people are definitely not lonely or dissatisfied with their lives.

Loneliness and dissatisfaction can be a factor for someone to be addicted to anything but that does not apply to everyone. Sometimes the lonely people will make gambling a means to vent their solitude and gradually make gambling a routine activity.
I am married, I have a job, I go out with my friends yet I have been gambling for years. I just do not have many hobbies that is my main reason. If I spend 50 to 100 dollars a month on my "hobby" that sounds fine to me. Gambling from loneliness sounds definitely possible but it can not be the only reason to gamble, or dissatisfaction sounds like a proper reason yet still we can't call it only reason. Both can be a reason for some people but people with satisfaction and family and friends in their life can still gamble.

Moreover, gamblers do not consider any factor which are soothing them but they in search of some reasons which will lead them into gambling. Those reasons are loneliness and dissatisfaction. Here, they are sounding similar to drunk addict but practically all addicted people do behave similarly as far as I have observed.
8272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 28, 2018, 12:08:14 PM
Melo once again said he is too good to come off the bench. The problemetic part is not that he declines to come off the benc, rockets have a tight depth so they need to play carmelo in starting spot anyway, however the issue is that he still sees himself as a good player that can contribute well.

I mean he is still a decent player considering there are hundreds of really useless players on NBA but this shows that he hasn't acknowledged that he is not what he used to be.
We all mocked how melo is not who he used to be and how he declines to come off the bench and even in rockets he is talking about how "he knows the game and won't come off the bench" and so forth but we are forgetting he is now getting paid min salary in rockets.

OKC sent melo away and atlanta paid him off to play somewhere else yet if you offer carmelo anthony to any team  on the league for minimum salary, everyone would take him, he worths a lot more than the min salary, he doesn't worth 27 mil a year but he doesn't worth min neither.

OKC has 4 decent  players brodie-pg13-adams-roberson, if okc got an offer for min salary melo they could have gotten him, it was the 27 mil that made him unwanted.
8273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You should be carefull of what ICO your going to invest with! on: July 28, 2018, 07:47:26 AM
how sure you are of what ico are you going to put your money to get a lot of profit with, can anyone give me some advise to know what ico is going to be a successfull in the end if their campaign?
Yeah the ICO world is a sharks world, you are either the shark or you are the shark bait. I really hope everyone does their own research before they go invest into something. No one should invest a penny into any ICO without checking out the team behind it, the whitepaper, the community, what problem it is promising to solve and the investments made into it already. Without these data to collect, you are just rolling a dice and hoping for the best.

All the time we cannot expect a successful campaign which will be paying us some good rewards. Because, the success for an ICO, will be depending on lots of factor hence we must accept the risk while enrolling into any bounty program. When you will be having enough experience on choosing a right ICO by filtering out normal to scammy projects then probably you can hit the bull eye easily. Still, you cannot be right all the times hence you must accept the risk which is an expected one in bounty hunting space.
8274  Economy / Economics / Re: When bitcoin prices rise up the market also will on: July 28, 2018, 07:14:07 AM
When bitcoin price increases other altcoins follows and that is the right time that everyone awaits. Bitcoin is the foundation which makes it as number one among and wont lose value in the market even long time. There is more demand on bitcoin that makes it change positively along the market. When the Bitcoin price rise, all in the market changes also and more can increase.
Well this obviously is not true Cheesy We have seen bitcoin going up so high yet alts went down not because they lost value but because bitcoin gained value against the alts. However if the bitcoin price stays up than when the new money coming in the old money will move to alts, which will keep the bitcoin price steady for a while yet increase the altcoin prices compared to it. We just need time with no money leaving the market, if the money doesn't leave the market than it will move on to other coins.

When bircoin prices rose then happens the market will follow, because interconnected between the ups and downs of bitcoin with market.
Not all the rest of markets are interconnected with bitcoin and its market. Only for valuation they are being valued in bitcoins and other than this, they should gain their own value based on their applications on real world. But when a new investor enters into cryto world, he would prefer diversifying hence we will invest in both bitcoins and altcoins. So, entire market will move up as OP is expecting.
8275  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 28, 2018, 06:44:49 AM
it can be that most of these hacks are inside job. A lot of exchange sites are hacked this year which caused the market to drop. That is why most people are avoiding using major exchanges since some are scared that it might be targeted next.
Still, it is not about hackers becoming smarter. It is about bitcoin price going really high compared to once what it used to be and in return it attracted more hackers, smart ones as well. So, we now have a lot of really smart hackers checking out what this bitcoin thing is and see that if they hack proper places they can really profit from it. Back in the day it wasn't this way because bitcoin didn't worth much for them, however now their hacks are really paying off.

In the past hackers could have entered with ease, and now scenario is different.
We cannot stay calm even we are having highly secured systems are in act. Because, when a weakness being discovered, hackers will get ready to exploit that to the maximum and we cannot be sure that they cannot discover something all the times.
8276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price increase trend? on: July 28, 2018, 06:05:28 AM
The price is increasing, to which I am somewhat surprised, as the ETF thing got delayed to like September, so the price might go down a little during this week(end). But on the long run, the price is gonna rise, and that's what matters.
It is on a great roller coaster deal lately. It went down to $5.8k levels at first than it went up to $6.6k levels, when it dropped to 6.3k levels or so people started to ask if it is going down to $4k levels (some people even said $2k and $3k levels) and than it went up to 7k levels and stayed there a bit and now its at $8k.

It is moving like crazy and we are really scared that we may never know what the next move will be. Will it be $10k ? Will it go down to $6k ? Whats going to happen, we may never know until it happens. Even after bitcoin etf proposal was rejected once again, today bitcoin is showing its strength by bouncing back from $7.8k levels to current $8.2k levels. Bitcoin is into up trend as of now and we may expect this to continue until, we see prices to test $10k levels. If $10k will be holding then we may see prices advancing toward $12k in coming weeks.
8277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did you buy bitcoin in December 2017? on: July 27, 2018, 04:48:20 PM
As far as I know we have never regretted that we bought some even if the price of bitcoin dropped this low because I believe that it can still recover as it is always done after correction. I did not buy bitcoin in that month

Those people who invest a huge amount of cryptocurrency while the market prices are pumping will obviously lose a huge amount of coins this days because the market price will start to pump up again before the year ends.
When investing with bitcoin is being considered as highly secured, we never need to worry given that we are ready to hold positions for infinite time frame. Bitcoin seems already started this year quota of rally even today it faced some down fall.

I didn't "buy" bitcoin in last December however I was working and selling stuff and I have made enough money to live 3-4 months without working a single day. That made me feel like I was doing something amazing. However with the bull market following that and the business drying up I was left alone with almost nothing back than. Thankfully it went on to be a bit better after that yet than the next bear came in and it was bad again. These swings makes a person really depressed I am telling you.
8278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Restore it's Place in the Market? on: July 27, 2018, 03:12:54 PM
I have been reading post and news that the Some people are saying that Bitcoin will not achieve its price as it was last years and some are saying that it will restore its previous glory this year.

What do you think in this matter?

Feel free to answer.

You can add pics videos and even news and posters.

Bitcoins will be always at the top since it was the first cryptocurrency that has been created for people to use and all the altcoins are just created in order for people to have variety of coins to invest.
But, it is way beyond the place right now. It has insane bitcoin dominance in the market right now and it needs to be really lower than this. I hope the correction comes to lower altcoins so that bitcoin doesn't drop. Eventually the bitcoin dominance will drop but we rather get btc staying up but alts reaching that instead of bitcoin dropping to reach the alts. It kinda really depends on how long bitcoin will stay up, if it stays up a bit more than alts will eventually reach.

In near future, there could be plenty of chances for success for many new altcoins like eth and ltc. It means the dominance by bitcoin in crypto world may get diluted more. I am afraid that may fall below 10% also in coming years as we are coming only one coin with other 1000s of coins. Maybe these calculations of comparisons are right still the dominance and the top positions are no more having any meaning, imho.
8279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: July 27, 2018, 02:19:27 PM
A good gambler will always accept his fate if he loses.

He's a responsible gambler all of the time and like the criteria's written on the first page that's how a good gambler is.
A good gambler will actually not even expect anything such as winning at all from gambling unless he just ends up the luckiest in the world at that moment in time. Not expecting anything serious except fun from gambling will definitely help anyone not to even get to the point of having to control themselves since they already have limit and all they are after anyway is having some fun. In that way, it is more like gambling for the fun reasons and not for the getting rich reasons.

A good player is not someone who constantly wins, but the one who plays on a large, goes to the last to win.
You must be wrong like most other people here. There are thousands of gamblers here who never bother about winning still they all could be considered a step ahead like best gambler. Yes, how you manage your gambling life alone will be deciding ether you are a good or bad gambler and not just your winning counts.
8280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 27, 2018, 01:11:02 PM
Lol people talk yet not vote, right now raptors seems to be the highest voted with one.
I bet warriors wins this year too, as long as they do not beat themselves, no one else will beat them so this year if they play like they always play there will be no reason for them to be beaten.

I was surprised with the rockets series since it was easily beatable for a team like gsw yet they failed to finish quickly, I know harden and cp3 is good and all but this is gsw we are talking about. I feel like this year will be easier.
