8261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - will it go lower on: September 17, 2017, 01:49:19 AM
It's currently $286 on coinmarketcap. I need to buy some ETH to participate in an ICO soon. Is now a good time to buy or do you think it will go down more in the next few days?

$286 is already pretty cheap. That is already a discounted price you have got there, bro. If I were you, I would grab the opportunity and buy some. Remember that ETH surpassed $380 some few weeks before. That is already less than $100 more. Do not be caught by the come back. Buy now.
8262  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: September 16, 2017, 04:39:27 AM
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!

Yes, a very great blessing for all. Bitcoin has been through ups and downs, FUD monsters, attacks of all sorts from all sides, and yet it remains to be strong, if not even stronger. I hate to hear people kind of losing hope simply because china is saying ICOs are getting banned and the effect will be the crash of bitcoin and the crypto. Bitcoin has gone much more difficult problems and it survived.
8263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I told my grandma to put all her lifesavings in Bitcoin because you guys said on: September 16, 2017, 03:52:45 AM
it will only go up. She bought at $4200 Sad
How soon can we REALISTICALLY see $4200 again and upwards?

Oh no! That is why you really need to decide on yourself and not just act on what others have to say. Do not just trust them readily 100%. That is suicide of you to just do that. Actually, you may ask some questions here but do not take them as the entire truth conclusively. Some may guide, but some also put you at risk. At the end of the day, do not blame these people.
8264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence Returning to Bitcoin? on: September 16, 2017, 03:26:09 AM
The recovery is slowly gaining acceleration for bitcoin right now. I hope it continues to hit $5000 and gain even more before falling once again to cater the other buyers and investors who badly missed the opportunity of cheap BTC buying. A couple of months is good enough, perhaps by November there will be another dip of prices.
8265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price of bitcoin decreases on: September 16, 2017, 02:50:35 AM
The chance to buy bitcoins that are more affordable is now and not later. You need to weigh the chances properly. If you still wait for a longer time because you believe that it will still go on decreasing, you might end up missing the train. Grab the moment and buy bitcoin.
8266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin end or destroy in this month?? on: September 15, 2017, 04:03:26 AM
I donot understand what are going to on bitcoin?Bitcoin dumping  and dumping Shocked Shocked. Now bitcoin under 3600$ i think in this week its going to under 3000$.China can destroy bitcoin or ended this month. What your predict ?

My prediction is that you are all wrong.  Grin Bitcoin surviving all this time and then destroyed by china in just a blink of an eye? Nah. Will not happen, dude! It may affect the value since the market there is big, but crashing down simply because of it? It is not happening, ever.
8267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 15, 2017, 03:04:36 AM
Hi Guy's,

Where would you invest 10 eth in when you can and why? Smiley

Hold on to those 10 Etheriums that you have. I wonder why you need to shift to another altcoin with that? If you really are bent on getting away from those ETH, then Etherium Classic, the other side of the coin, is a great investment opportunity. The value is still very low as compared to its potentials.
8268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help ! I'm New to CryptoCurrency on: September 14, 2017, 03:07:56 AM
Hello Everyone, I'm New to this forum and new to crypotcurrency,

i need help in understanding ICO, i came with many articles explaining ICO's but still i didnt get the clear image about it.
So someone please explain me what is ICO and what happens if i invests in ICO ??

Sorry for my Bad English

ICO is called Initial Coin Offering, a way for a certain project to gain resources that is needed for its vision to be fully implemented. ICO is selling the tokens or coins of the project at a cheap price and with additional bonuses to attract investors. If you invest in ICOs, please be vigilant and choose the best ICOs. You need to do research first. ICO investment is great because there are huge bonuses. But only if you are choosing the right ones.
8269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 14, 2017, 02:08:32 AM
What do you think? China banned BTC? And btc price goes to 4,069$ today Smiley
You think to sell or it can rise up again, some rumors said that btc will fall down to 2000$

It will rise up and then fall down and then rise up and then fall down. That is the trend. And that is expected as it is highly traded and it reacts to big news that have something to do with the entire cryptocurrency status. But in general, it is gaining higher grounds.
8270  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin so the main choice on: September 13, 2017, 03:16:55 AM
why are many people willing to drop their jobs and prefer to focus more on the world of crypto like bitcoin?

Because works, I mean many of them, are too demanding and the return in terms of salary is meager. That is disappointing and frustrating, right? After the company or your boss exploit you and your skills to the bones, they will only pay you with a speck of their income? No way. I would rather keep posting here and do trading and earn good.
8271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Urgent need for a Bitcoin "assocation" on: September 13, 2017, 02:55:28 AM
What do you guys think about this?

No association. No formality. No governing body. No central control. It all would go against the foundation tenets of Bitcoin. The trade off for that freedom is that there is no single message to refute the FUD or bad press. That's OK. It's the individual adoption of each us that stands up against the negative press. Our individual action gives the community strength.

This is the answer I would have said also. Anyway, no need to do that apparently. Trying to put bitcoin in a box is a step backward from the original vision of the great Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin became famous and trusted as it is right now. Why try to disrupt the growth with an association? That is trying to reshape bitcoin, which is not good at all.
8272  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk Bounty millionaires. do they exist? on: September 13, 2017, 02:19:21 AM

This forum has been a leading light for information, work, online socialising for the crypto community world. we have seen many ICOs happenning and bounties being paid out. so all this leads to curious questioning. so do we have bounty millionaires here among us ? who have made their fortune in executing bounty work and can inspire the community and wish to share their stories and tips with the community?

thanks all.

millionaires no,like you see i am Legendary,i had very good payout from edgeless,my bounty now is worth 15k$ just six weeks of work, but edg bounty was paid in time, for two months work for Sonm i have got only 500$ becouse i had to wait very long time for payout, similar although a little better was with mgo, also long time waiting for payouts.Sig campaigne give best incomes depends of forum rank

I heard Edgeless was paying the bounty participants a really significant amount of EDGs. In your case, you are basing in US dollar. That is why it will not reach by the million. But if it is converted into some local currencies, it might be even more. In my case, as a Filipino, that $15,000 is already 750,000 in local currency. And that is from a single campaign only. Another 250,000 pesos and it is already reaching million.
8273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 12, 2017, 04:08:15 AM
Not necessarily but there is for sure a very adverse effect on them since bitcoin is the one really representing the entire crypto world. If anything really bad happening to bitcoin, the rest will for sure be dipping in their own respective values.
8274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 12, 2017, 03:42:31 AM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

It does not matter to me actually how they pay me for my job. What matters to me is the amount. Even if your salary is paid in bitcoin but it is equivalent to a little amount then it is still not good enough for me. I am accepting bitcoin as payment but only if the amount is good enough.
8275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about altcoins. on: September 12, 2017, 02:30:08 AM
I still don't get it why there are two coins so I gotten questions out of my curiosity.

Will altcoins be much better than Bitcoins?

Will the currency be good? than Bitcoins? or its just the same?

Can altcoins be directly converted to money?

You have a lot of beginner's question there, mate. I may not answer everything but make sure to make some research, further readings.

In crypto, there are only two classifications, Bitcoin and then the rest will be called alternate crypto. In the alternate crypto, there are almost a thousand coins. If you ask about better than bitcoin, you have to classify the question. In terms of what? On an overall basis though, I say that Bitcoin is still the best.

Alternate coins have different uses. These coins are used to suit their respective projects.
8276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS Pumping again...be careful on: September 11, 2017, 03:42:35 AM

  • there seem to be like maybe 1-2 developers behind it, that's it
  • a lot of non-technical people who seem to have bought it pumping it with fluff articles, blogs and youtube video

I agree with these, I'm not sure about the others.

These are all pretty normal. These are legitimate strategies that developers of a certain project or coin can use to boost their coin's value. At the end of the day, Stratis remains to be a good project. This is not a shitcoin unlike so many others out there. Moreover, this is not a pump and dump coin either. I am trusting Stratis!
8277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking with your bitcoin on: September 11, 2017, 03:14:47 AM
Is it possible that banks would accept bitcoin as your deposits directly from your bitcoin wallet? Or they will ban it because of internet security reasons?

It is very possible but I know not one bank that accepts bitcoin as direct deposit from your bitcoin wallet to your savings account. Because there is no one bank that has bitcoin as an option of their account. It might happen in the future if bitcoin will be as widespread as fiat.
8278  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: September 11, 2017, 02:44:10 AM

- Art and Craft
- Paper and Card
- Office Stationary

I would be contented with clothes and outdoor equipments. If there are shops here in my locality accepting bitcoin for their clothes and outdoor equipments for sale I would already be very happy. I have always wanted to purchase some gears for climbing.
8279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: September 11, 2017, 01:57:02 AM
Hey Bitcoiners? I'm desperate to start earning BTC
I'll do any kind of online activity as long as there's a Bitcoin payment. Where do I start?

I think majority of the jobs here are not going to pay you in Bitcoin. Most of the jobs here are campaign-related and are altcoins-based. You can look for services that pay you in bitcoin though. But there are far more choices when you look for campaigns that pay you in tokens. It is still good because you can still convert them to bitcoins later. You can go to bounties (altcoins) and choose one.
8280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 10, 2017, 03:48:28 AM
Lol we hit an ATH after this. So hilarious. Who do these people think they're fooling? I'm really not sad that I'm up 500% this year alone. I would honestly have been happy with 5-10% but that's not how bitcoins work at all at this time!

Yeah! Continue hitting thess rumormongers and FUD-spreading around here. I also noticed that every time there is a serious dip in BTC's price and FUD begins to spread like good news, and everyone is now effectively creating fears among investors, I mean small time investors, the price will break ATH right after.  Grin
