8321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: September 09, 2017, 11:30:53 AM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
I store bitcoins through a certain wallet. It is a wallet that can only be open by its owner. It can also be open through the use of a cellular phone or any gadget and is connected to an internet connection. This wallet is called coins.ph wallet. This is the only wallet that I use to store my bitcoins. To use or register in coins.ph, people must first create an account so that they can be able to use it. It is a good type of wallet to store your bitcoins.

Okay it is good just like you said but there is a problem here.
This is a website wallet that can be accessed by anyone when they get your email address and your password.
If you log in to a shop with a key logger you will be easily get hacked.
Better make a 2fa code to increase your security and if also you better create a wallet that is offline with private keys. The most secured and friendly user like Electrum.
8322  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: September 09, 2017, 06:48:56 AM
Aren't most of the people doing it that now?
Preparing for the worse case scenario and that is fiat system without value anymore.
That is why the price of gold is so high because of this. Some put their money in other investments like inventions instead of the cash just sitting around waiting to die. Gold is their first choice but now they have bitcoin and other crypto currencies as other option.
8323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans exchangers on: September 08, 2017, 06:06:09 PM
Thank God some good changes will happen. Good thing they started cleaning on their country rather than speculating others.
They have the largest mining services and many of those are not legit.
This will be a big change and instead of a fall in price the bitcoin might go up if this news will be spread accordingly. I mean no addition etc etc.
It is just shocking there is no soft ban. They go straight to the point and diminish it.  Grin
8324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 08, 2017, 04:57:18 PM
There are two best things that one could do when the price of coins are falling.
1. Buy more coins to make good profit when the price recovers
2. Hold the coins so that you don't suffer from any losses
We should not panic in these king of situations. We must know that trades go like waves. It keeps on increasing and decreasing.
If we don't have any money to buy more coins then the best option would be to hold the coins as they say never sell at a loss.

I have to agree with this and I am already doing it.
Before I use to panic and sell because of fear that it will go down a lot more.
When you got a lot of money invested it is easy to see how much you are losing.
One more trick would be not looking at the price, specially with bitcoin. Just letting it be would be a great idea.
8325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you share your secrets and research findings??? on: September 08, 2017, 03:11:34 PM
Honestly I dont. It is hard when people abuses something which is just known from other people then they take all the credits. That hurts.
I dont share with social medias anymore but I share it with my close friends and colleagues. That way I could minimize the spread and somehow I can trust the people I told it to.
8326  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 08, 2017, 07:35:36 AM
Correct. They can easily make a law regarding crypto and ban it in their country. That is somehow sad and how can we fight when that will happen to bitcoin.
Who will be the countries that will stay and will support bitcoin or let it be.
I dont think Chinese investors will let this happen and including people who have invested a lot of money buying bitcoin. This will be a fight of the rich and we can only support them.
8327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does China have a large part in the world of cryptocurrency? on: September 08, 2017, 04:59:49 AM
I believe they do have a large part in the crypto world specially bitcoin but that doesn't say they are the one pulling it down because of their recent news.
Maybe it is the other holders who doubts the power of bitcoin and believed the FUD's that have been scattered.
One news and many panics. Or they could be going with the flow and will try to buy back after the FUD's is successful.
8328  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: September 07, 2017, 06:52:16 PM
One problem that needs resolving.
How do we get them to see bitcoin as an inviting currency? How do we make it look that there is a lot of profit here than a regular merchant using the fiat system as a payment option?
It is the risk that they want to make it vanish. If they accept bitcoin as payment they are also on the brink of losing a lot of money. I say make them see how they could withdraw the funds and get a safety amount of money after a good start into using bitcoin as a means of payment.
8329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin drop? on: September 07, 2017, 04:23:02 PM
Creating news about a thing that is going all the way up is also a good advertisement for them.
Bitcoin being popular is going to make them pull more investors to them.
I praise the advertisement team of this good Goldman Sachs for being a genius into using bitcoin as a means of making a free ads for their names to be in the top again. Just want article for the popular bitcoin could make them a lot of money. Nice move.
8330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: September 06, 2017, 07:44:23 PM
It had been a losing streak and it hurts.  Cry
There is no way I could get it back but I am still playing the game thinking I could somehow take what had been lost even just a part of it will be okay for me.
It had been an unlucky week but I am hoping for tomorrow to be another day that will keep me from playing more.
8331  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 Bitcoin To SBOBET Game Casino 🌟 By SBOBTC.COM on: September 06, 2017, 06:06:34 PM
Hey I know this one. There is one company by the same name (SBOBET) here near my workplace.
But I dont know anything about sbobtc. This could be fake. Why not just use the same name since it is already known for gambling. You are just making it a lot harder to start with a new one then just using the name of the company saying you're an agent.
8332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 02:37:38 PM
I agree with the effectiveness of social media advertising. Spreading the news there is so easy and maybe someone will like the idea or just accidentally clicked it and started to get interested with bitcoin.
Social media became an everyday life of a person. They tend to check their accounts even after waking up in the morning and ends the day with checking it again. This is going to help a lot.
8333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get your ideas for investments? on: September 06, 2017, 09:40:42 AM
I follow my own ideas and test it. I just invest a little to test it then enlarge it when it is gaining profit.
I read articles yes, but the comments there sometimes dont make any sense. Others just bring down one token for the profit of their own.
So it would be better if you have your own ideas.
8334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a problem gambler? on: September 06, 2017, 07:58:38 AM
The truth hurts but it is true. I have a gambling problem.
I turned my .02 bitcoin into zero in just minutes of playing dice. I almost deposit more again just to get it back but thank God the internet connection went into some maintenance. After that I got to  breath again and tell myself I should stop. I will try to look at the link later.
8335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: September 05, 2017, 05:34:24 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

I keep my bitcoins at coins.ph Coins.ph is an online application walket in where you can keep your bitcoin. With coins.ph your bitcoin will not be stagnant.Your bitcoin has the abilitybto increase through transactions that you do.

That is a website wallet and you might want to be careful with that. With all the things that are happening specially with bitcoin price surging up like this it can be possible that something wrong might happen. Just be very careful and use those who can stay long and proven trustworthy. I know Coins.ph is trusted but it will be better to be safe. Why not just send the amount of bitcoin that you need when you are doing the withdrawal. Do not put it all there.
8336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 04:52:24 PM
A Fiesta already for a what? 200 to 300 dollars down? Come on! They should be better than that.
It is still at $4k and that is a hell of an amount of money.
With this value nothing can stop bitcoin now even if it loses $1000 of its price, it is still way up than any other commodity or currency in the world.
They should be more worried on how fast it will land at the $5k mark.
8337  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 05, 2017, 02:32:18 PM
If there was a chance to invest in primedice I would do that seem like the most profitable gambling site in bitcoin.

You could try my signature link.  Grin
They are full with this since they are one hell of the longest running gambling sites and really trustworthy.
But hey, there are also gambling sites that are giving their all to get that trust. Try Yolo and you might see features which is not in the other sites.
8338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: September 05, 2017, 12:57:04 PM
i think one good option

you can sell/buy bitcoin or be escrower.. is a work Smiley
you can buy with -3% bitcoin (for who sell fast) and sell +3% bitcoin (for who buy fast)
i think is good option

This is good business although it needs capital. There are a few who can do this and those people are ready to take the risk of being scammed or a hit and run.  Grin
Steps into making the business safer are needed and backgrounds about people who will buy and sell.
Specially when it is the Paypal transaction which really became a problem.
8339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: September 05, 2017, 07:28:01 AM
The funny thing is people there cannot even access the whole capability of the internet and yet they ban just an ICO.
I know they are doing this to protect their people but how could they even see that an ICO is existing if the Firewall is too high that it is hard to break it.
This is just another news where it doesn't matter.
Best business in that area is VPN.  Grin
8340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: September 05, 2017, 03:30:46 AM
I believe in superstition and try to wear those clothes in which I have good winnings. Sometimes it helps, and sometimes not very lucky. Maybe there are some more secrets out there.
Well, I feel funny because your superstitions, I never believed in superstition, I always thought that everything was based on science to explain, although there were many problems that science did not explain but sooner or later, scientists also discover that. In gambling, if you are lucky, you will be lucky and if you are not lucky, you will be unlucky, wear clothes or anything can not change that, you wear clothes that you think it brings luck to you because you have signs of despair, and you need something called trust for you to rely on it

You might be right but you cannot deny that sometimes a certain thing saves you from accidents or makes you lucky whenever you brought or just with you.
I dont say they are magical but if that belief makes you boost your confidence into playing more with courage then why not?
In poker you will lose whenever the other players feel your fear of backing out and you cannot even bluff. They can smell that.
So this superstitions could somehow make you comfortable while you are in the game.
